オアフ島のクアロア牧場での乗馬が楽しかったので今回挑戦しました。
クアロアは観光化されていて英語がわからなくても安心して利用できましたが、こちらは日本語が話せる方はいなかったので不安のあまり馬の上でくらくらしました。しかしスタッフの方が熱心で温かくフォローしてくださったのでなんとか安全に過ごすことができました。
馬が賢いのでほとんど乗っているだけで大丈夫でしたが、下りは少し怖くて力が入り、終了時は膝が痛かったです。
乗馬時は危険防止のため、水と携帯は専用のバッグにいれるように言われました。また、風がつめたいので、羽織るものも必要です。ウインドブレーカーに長ズボン、スニーカーで参加しました。
ヘルメットは自己責任らしかったでが、私はお借りしました。帽子は風で飛ばされて自分も馬もおどろくので、ヘルメットで正解でした。今回は説明がわからず、緊張したため雄大な景色を堪能できませんでしたが、もう一度ぜひ参加したいです。途中でスタッフの方が撮ってくださった写真は素晴らしく、とてもよい思い出になりました。

Naalapa Stables Kohala Horseback Riding Tour on Kahua Ranch

This was a very easy, cruise at a leisurely pace and get some awesome views ride. It was perfect for a family activity; this included one 17-yr old and a 12-yr old. Very friendly staff and small group ride was very enjoyable. Definitely recommended.

The guides were very animated and well versed with history. My husband was so impressed with the Honda machinery. We even saw wild pigs which was a favorite impromptu thing that happened. Well organized and seemed very safe. We got dustier than I expected but that was me being naive. Follow their instruction on what to bring and no worries. You will get dirty. We didn't get muddy but maybe if it was wetter we would have. We loved it and highly recommend this group.

Crew was fun and personable. They had good stories to tell. Awesome scenery. Beautiful day with rain showers. Bumpy ride. Be prepared to get wet and dirty. The dust goes thru clothes! But they will blow it off you after the tour if you want and provide wet clothes to clean your face. We saw unbranded cows, mongoose and wild pigs. Wish it was longer and slower to enjoy the scenery, but I was a passenger and not the driver lol!

12000 acres of beauty. The guides are super nice funny and allow you to trot or chill how you please. Not a boring nose to tail ride it was fun to go fast a few times and let the horses do their thing while seeing all the other animals. Definitely bring a jacket (or they have some), close toed shoes and jeans super cold and windy up there. Loved it!

初めての乗馬体験。とても満足なものでした。あいにくの小雨で、お借りしたレインコートから、したたる水で、パンツが濡れるほどでしたが、余りある風景を堪能させていただきました。
本土からの２組のご家族と、10名の参加者に2人のインストラクターさんが引率。慣れた馬達は、いう事を聞かずに、自由に草をはんだり、時には速足になったりで、困る事もありました。おわつてみれば、それもご愛嬌で、家族の団らんの話題になりました。

Kohala Zipline Treetop Canopy Adventure with Optional Waterfall Swim Upgrade
It was a wonderful time. Great hosts and a fun Zipline course near a iconic Hawaiian small town. They prioritized safety first, and then fun!

It was a wonderful experience! Fun Zipline tour in paradise! The hosts focused on safety and fun! So glad that I took my daughter. I recommend to anyone able bodied that isn’t super afraid of heights! One of the big islands must dos!

Everything felt very safe, the instruction on safety and vehicle operation was effective and efficient, and we had a blast. The guides were wonderful, too.There are opportunities to switch drivers a few different spots, so we both had a turn at the wheel. Some gorgeous photo opportunities. Lots of kids were along, and they seemed to have a great time as well. We scared a bunch of feral pigs and chased some cows off the trail - who didn't seem to mind at all. One of the high points of our Hawaii trip.

Best Activity on the Island

This was probably hands-down the most fun we've had on a trip. We had excellent guides- Henry and Jerry. Everyone from our driver to the riders made the trip super enjoyable. We saw amazing waterfalls along the northern side of the island cliffs. We worked with the wildlife as they allowed us into their grazing areas. This is a must do. Yes you will get dirty and you will enjoy it!

The adventure was awesome! We had a blast even in the rain! Our kids were amazing and made it so fun!! I think you should add a lunch experience at the picnic tables. Our ride was at 12:30 and it was 2.5 hours and we hadn’t had lunch so that addition would be great!

The best every! If you're looking for great family adventure, look no further. No matter what your experience level, they'll adjust to your comfort. You'll see places that you just can't see from a road and they're so excited about sharing their culture it contagious! If we didn't have to go home we'd would have booked it again. The guides are so friendly it's amazing! Can't say enough about turn. Take your family, friend, or who ever and have a great time learning and seeing this great place.

マウイ島まで見えて絶景でした。

初めてのレンタカーで不安でしたが、迷わず到着できました。
快晴で見晴らしも最高でした。スタッフさんたちは皆明るく親切です。
グループごとに写真を撮ってくださいます。ところどころにいる牛さんたちも写ったりしていい思い出になりました。60代ですが全然大丈夫です。

Awesome UTV Ride

Really cool experience riding UTV’s around the Polulu Valley with some well trained and knowledgeable guides. Would highly recommend this tour for those interesting in getting a little dirty while also learning a lot about the history of the big island. My favorite part was riding up to the upper ridge of the valley to the waterfall where you get to have a few snacks and enjoy some stories from the guides. Very hill terrain, be prepared for a rugged but fun trail!

Our trip with Kohala ATV Tour was awesome! Beautiful scenic stops and one of the guides was a great photographer. We learned so much about the history of the big island and the valleys along this coast it was not only fun and scenic but also cool to learn about the history. Not only were the guides amazing and knowledgable on the history and plants but the driver that transported us from the parking lot to the UTV's, Jerry or Jerico, was so funny and outgoing. He definitely got us super excited and eager for this tour after driving an hour and a half from Kona to Kohala at 7AM. He explained a lot about the town of Kohala and all of the things we passed on our way to the trail base. The crew works great together and made sure my boyfriend and I had a great time. We got to swim under a waterfall that is only accessible with this tour and we tried so may of the fruits we passed in the wild throughout the entire tour. Will definitely rebook with this company and will recommend to all friends and family.

今回の旅で、ちゃんとした乗馬に挑戦したくてこちらのツアーを申し込みましたが、まず場所にビックリ！
説明通りの2000m標高の場所コハラコースト。
タクシーで往復したのですが、こんなに空気の薄い場所で大丈夫かなと思いましたが、そんな心配はご無用。気さくなハワイカウガール達の親切な説明で難なく馬に乗せていただき、１列になって高原の海原へと進んで行きました。
生憎天候は不純で、2時間の間に何度か雨に合いましたが、眼下に広がるコナ地域の海岸線を見下ろしたり、高原には沢山の牛と出会いました。
一生の宝物になる体験ができました。

This experience was incredibly relaxing and objectively beautiful. The staff was incredible, with their insight, attentiveness, and even some local recommendations for the rest of our trip. They even managed to snap a few amazing photos of us. The only question was the check in down the road from the dock, but that was easily figured out! Would recommend to anyone. Far better value than a dinner cruise in my opinion.

We did the 1 1/2 hr.& its a great view.The guides were fun. This is not ride in a line, you can spread out and go faster in a few areas. Wear jeans, hats and bring a jacket even if it's hot where you are! It's beautiful, lush and on grazing land for their cattle and sheep. Loved it, and would recommend! Thank you for a great memory!

美しい海を見下ろす最高の乗馬体験✨

親族2家族（小学生2名、中学生2名、大人4名）で参加しました。
牧場にはヘルメットが用意されており、それぞれの判断で無料でお借りすることができます。（落馬の可能性があるのでヘルメットは被った方がいいです！）
初めに牧場の方が馬の動かし方や注意事項をざーっと説明してくださいました。（全て英語なので、子供たちには軽く通訳してあげる必要があります。）
その後牧場の方が参加者の体型などから馬を選んでくださり、早速乗馬。日本ではあり得ないと思いますが初心者でも同じように馬に乗り、引馬でもなく、全員牧場の外へ！馬がかなり慣れているので前の馬に続く形で隊列を組んで進みますが馬の性質によっては早く進みたがったりなかなか、進まなかったり。。ということももちろんありました。
途中駆け足に挑戦しよう！と、駆け足チャレンジもあったので小3の子など、振り落とされないか少しドキドキしました。
アメリカならではの大胆なツアーですがとにかく美しい海を見下ろしながらの乗馬はすばらしく、一生の思い出になると思います✨

This tour is somewhat expensive, but worth the cost. The utv’s are in good shape, the trail is perfect and the guides demonstrate a high level knowledge of the islands. We very much enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii.
