It was a day with high waves and quite murky water, but the dolphins seemed to be in a good mood, coming close multiple times, allowing us to see them both on the surface and underwater.

Also, the love that our guides, Ray and Daisuke, had for the dolphins was wonderful. They prioritized not making the dolphins uncomfortable, which I believe is a rule we must follow when interacting with wild dolphins.

Since the tour takes place in an area where you can't touch the bottom at all, you'll float in a wetsuit, and Ray and Daisuke provide maximum advice and support. However, to fully enjoy this tour, I think it would be more fun if you try snorkeling in shallow waters or have the guts to dive in without being able to touch the bottom.

Thank you to the dolphins who healed us, to Ray and Daisuke for the opportunity, and to everyone who participated! ✨

波が高く、結構水が濁っていた日でしたが、イルカの機嫌がよかったようで、何回も近くに来てくれてたくさん海面でも海中でも見ることができました。

また、ガイドのレイさんとダイスケさんのイルカに対する愛がとても素敵でした。イルカに嫌な思いをさせないことを最優先にする、それは私たちが野生のイルカと触れ合うにあたって守らなきゃいけないルールだなと思いました。

全く足なんてつかない海域でのツアーになるので、ウェットスーツで浮きますし、レイさんとダイスケさんが最大限のアドバイスとフォローもしてくださりますが、このツアーを楽しみ切るならシュノーケリングは浅瀬で楽しんで経験してみたり、足つかなくてもどんとこーいくらいのガッツがあるとより楽しいツアーになると思います。

Our tour guide knew so much about the island - history, weather, plants, animals, local favorite spots for food and fun, beaches, etc. I wish we had reserved the tour earlier in our stay so that we could take advantage of the tips he gave! We had plenty of time at each stop to really experience each of them - Kona coffee, lava tubes, black sand beaches, turtles, volcanoes, waterfalls and more! We had beautiful weather everywhere except Akaka Falls and the driver was equipped with rain jackets for everyone. I highly recommend this tour!

Our party of 7 had an absolutely fantastic adventure on our sea cave kayak and snorkeling trip. Devon, our guide, was really knowledgeable and very fun to be with. He was very helpful and made everyone feel very comfortable and at ease.

We had a great time kayaking (about 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back), swimming, snorkeling, and even jumping off of a cliff. The visit to the sea cave was also very neat.

We feel like we had 4 different excursions between the kayaking, cliff jumping, snorkeling and swimming, and the sea cave.

We would highly recommend this trip. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our 10 days in Kona.

Guides were thorough in instructions so all of us felt confident with our horses. We were helped on and off, which was appreciated. We were given the opportunity to cantor and gallop if we wished. The guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun! The green hills and cool breezes were lovely, did not use our jackets although the sun & wind were strong. They recommended a fun place, Fish and Hog, for lunch following the ride. I would recommend this ranch and ride.

That was such an amazing trip! Devon was awesome! We got to jump off a cliff, try a fresh Opihi, get some information about the island! Snorkel, and bond with our family. I had a lot of fun, but even though I arrived early at the meeting place, it seems there was an explanation in English, which I struggle with. As a result, I ended up boarding the boat late, and the only seats available were on the sunny second floor, but I managed to find a spot that was somewhat shaded from the sun.

I felt a sense of alienation, realizing what it's like when you can't communicate. I had to observe the people around me while eating... For those who are not good at English at all, please pay attention to the people around you.

The sea is beautiful, and the staff are kind, but I was a bit disappointed.

It was a windy day, so our family were the only ones on the boat, we saw some fishes and lots of corals, and learned some new things about different fish in Hawaii. The turtles were kond of hiding thought, but the captain made every effort on finding at least one for us, so we got to see it on the surface taking a few breaths.

It's better to apply sunscreen (I ended up getting really sunburned because I didn't). Each horse has its own personality, and the horse I rode didn't listen to me, but that's part of its charm.

Also, it rained during our visit, and we got soaked. The hotel parking is only free for three hours. If it were around 5,000 yen, I could somewhat recommend it.

Next, at Kobaruyama, time transformed the lava into fertile soil that nurtures lush trees, and erosion created breathtaking canyons and waterfalls that drop 400 meters—these stunning views were experienced by the helicopter guests. Finally, the awareness and proactivity of the island's people in coexisting with the volcanoes, as shared by pilot Mochizuki, will likely stay with me for life, as I lead a rather ordinary existence. Moreover, this first helicopter tour of my life allowed me to witness the Earth's activities from a bird's-eye view. It may sound a bit exaggerated, but it changed my perspective on life.

We participated as a couple on our honeymoon trip. Fortunately, we encountered dolphins shortly after setting sail on the boat! We were able to see these wild dolphins up close, which I thought I could only see in an aquarium. It was moving to hear the sounds of dolphins that I had only heard on television! There were times when the dolphins would swim away to take a break, but our guide, Ray, and the captain made an effort to ensure that participants had as much time as possible to interact with the dolphins. I think even those who are not good swimmers can enjoy the experience with the solid support from the guides. I could feel the love for dolphins from both Mr. Nawa and guide Ray, and I definitely want to join this tour again.

My wife and I did not have a car for the week but wanted to see the Island for what it had to offer. This tour came to our Hotel and picked us up as well as brought us back and gave a view of the Island most people would not be able to see. Our driver Nathan was excellent and gave us a relaxed and informed trip and even gave us some extra insights that a book would not give. The views were amazing and gave you an option if you wanted to come back and stay for more indepth viewing. I would recommend going with a tour to really get the flavor of the Island.

Hilo Black Sand Beach Guided Snorkel Tour at Sea Turtle Lagoon

Chad and a guys name I can’t remember (lol, sorry guy but he was nice) met us at the general store and took us to the Blacksand beach. At first, my wife was very claustrophobic and was having trouble snorkeling but Chad worked with her and was very patient and before long she was swimming like a guppy! We had a wonderful time and saw a bunch of turtles! I recommend this tour. It was better than what the cruise ship offered for less money. We would definitely go again.

友達が海は苦手ということで１人参加しましたが、参加者の方々もフレンドリーで、ガイドのだいすけさんのおかげで心地よく過ごせました！ガイドの方は存じ上げなかったのですが、イルカやクジラさんたちの写真家でもあり、ツアー自体もイルカの気持ちを大事にしている暖かいツアーです。
40分ほどで沖に出るとイルカさんたちがわらわらいました。ガイドの方がイルカとコミュニケーションを取りながら誘導してくれたので、間近で見れましたし、真横にゆっくり！？至近距離で来てくれたイルカさんとジッーと目が合ったときは、感動して涙が出ちゃいました！
回転しながらジャンプするというスピナードルフィンぶりも何度も見せてくれました。イルカの優しさやボートから見る海の美しさに感謝でいっぱいになるツアーです。ハワイ島にきたらまずオススメしたいと思います。(その後、私の感動っぷりに触発された友達が参加しようとしましたが、数日先まで予約が埋まっていたのでお早めに！)
