I was very satisfied with the lucky tour filled with rainbows, sunsets, dolphins, and manta rays. I requested hotel pickup as it was included in the tour, but since most people rent cars on the Big Island, that might have been a better option. It's essential to prepare a jacket for the return boat ride, as it gets cold and chilly. I had a great time!

ホテルでのピックアップがツアーに含まれていたのでお願いしましたが、ハワイ島はレンタカーを借りる人がほとんどなのでその方が良かったかなぁ
帰りの船の中は身体が冷えて寒くなるので上着の準備は必須ですね

I highly recommend this luau. I was very satisfied with the delicious food and entertainment.

The process starts with checking in at the hotel, after which you are guided to outdoor party tables. Before the show begins, there is a drink bar and interactive activities. You can enjoy free games, a dance experience, and watch the digging up of kalua pig, which is cooked in an underground oven called an imu. Everyone was taking lots of videos and photos! Please note that this activity ends fairly early.

The buffet meal is followed by the grand entrance of King Kamehameha from the sea, and the show starts on stage! There are plenty of dances and songs inspired by Tahiti and Samoa, the ancestors of Hawaiians. The final fire dance was breathtaking. The emcee speaks entirely in English, but I think you can enjoy it fully even if you don't catch everything.

To be honest, I hesitated about whether to participate due to the price, but I ended up being very satisfied.

◆ One point to note is to arrive early for check-in. Check-in starts at 5:15 PM, but when we arrived at 4:45 PM, there were already about ten groups in line. Seating is assigned in the order of check-in, and you proceed to the activities from there, so if you check in late, it might be difficult to participate in the activities.

流れとしてはホテル館内で受付後、野外のパーティテーブルに案内されます。
ショーが始まる前にドリンクバーと参加型のアクティビティがありました。無料のゲーム、ダンス体験やイムという地中の釜で料理したカルアピッグ（豚の丸焼き）を掘り出す様子を見られます。皆さんビデオや写真をたくさん撮っていました！
このアクティビティははやい時間で終わってしまいますので注意が必要です。

ブッフェのお食事、海からのカメハメハ王の登場に続いてステージでショーがスタート！
ハワイアンの祖先であるタヒチやサモア風のダンスや歌が盛りだくさん。最後のファイアーダンスは圧巻でした。
司会はすべて英語ですが、すべてを聞き取れなくても充分に楽しめる内容だと思います。
正直なところ、お値段的に参加するかどうか迷いましたが結果は大満足です。

◆注意点は早めに受付に行くことかと思います。
受付スタートは17:15-ですが、私たちが16:45に行った時にはすでに10組ほどが並んでいました。席は受付順で案内され、その流れでアクティビティに進むので、受付が遅くなるとアクティビティ参加がむずかしくなるかもしれません。

This was my third visit to Waipi'o, and I was finally able to see the bottom of the valley. It was truly wonderful. I'm glad I could feel the reason it's called a "sacred place." I definitely want to visit again.

3度目のワイピオでやっと渓谷の下まで見学する事が出来ました。本当に素晴らしかったです。「聖地」と呼ばれる由縁を感じら事が出来て良かったです。また是非訪れたいです。

I splurged on a helicopter ride, thinking I might never come back to the Big Island again. I was moved by the breathtaking scenery that can only be seen from a helicopter, such as valleys, cliffs, and the traces of flowing lava. It was also great that I could ask questions and talk with the pilot through the microphone.

もう2度とハワイ島まで来られないだろうと、奮発して搭乗しました。
普通では見られない渓谷や岸壁、溶岩が流れた跡など、ヘリコプターならではの風景に感動しました。パイロットさんとマイクを通して質問したりお話し出来たのも良かったです。

Was it because of the rain that the stage was moved from outdoors to indoors? I was looking forward to the fire dance, but it was canceled, and the show ended about an hour earlier than scheduled, which was disappointing. The food was also limited in variety and not as good compared to other luau shows.

雨降りで、ステージが屋外から屋内に移動になった為なのでしょうか？
楽しみにしていたファイヤーダンスもなく、予定時間の1時間ほど早く終了になり、ガッカリです。
食事も、他のルアウショーと比べると種類も少なく味も良くなかったです。

This is my second time horseback riding in Hawaii. After a brief explanation, we set off on the trek. The horses are well-trained, allowing for a safe trekking experience. It's the best experience to see the beautiful scenery while riding a horse.

ハワイの乗馬は２回目です。簡単な説明の後トレッキングに出発です。馬がよく訓練されており、安心してトレッキングできます。きれいな景色を馬に乗りながら見られる、最高の経験です。

I had been to the top of the valley a few times before, but going into the valley was such an experience! It was incredibly peaceful, beautiful, and Kaleo was a wealth of knowledge about his home. I will absolutely be visiting again when family visits 🤙🏻 mahalo for the experience!

Can I really meet Manta rays!? When I entered the sea and looked around, there were so many sea urchins, and yes, there they were! I was able to see a lot of Manta rays. At first, they swam back and forth near the seabed, and after about 10 minutes, they showed me their bellies. They really came close enough to touch. My husband was so excited that he got to touch them with his fins! I've seen sea turtles a few times, but this was the most thrilling experience. The hot chocolate was delicious!

海に入り覗くと、ウニがいっぱい、
いました、いました!たくさんのMantaに会える事ができました。最初は海底を何回か往復、あと10分くらいかな?と合図が、今度はお腹を見せてくれました。本当に手に届くところまで来てくれます。夫はヒレで触ってもらった!と、大興奮。ウミガメは何回か見たことがありますが最高に感激興奮してぃます。ホットチョコ、美味しかった!

The crew were all very friendly and full of information about the area. The food was good and the extra slides and diving platform didn’t interfere with serious snorkeling.

This is a tour that starts at sunset. The sunset is incredibly beautiful!

We were firmly reminded not to touch the manta rays, and after receiving some additional explanations, we dove into the sea. For the first few minutes, we couldn't see anything, and I thought maybe today would be a bust, but suddenly one appeared right in front of me. They circled around multiple times, and not just once, but several times, two of them came in a line. Although we were told not to touch them, my husband ended up getting touched by a manta ray, and we were both so excited. Our Japanese guide, Tamae, was very kind and helpful.

Since we were in the water for a long time, our bodies got cold. Renting a wetsuit was a good decision, but we didn't take it off when we returned to the boat, and we ended up freezing. It would have been better to take off the suit and wrap ourselves in towels once we got out. The hot chocolate they handed out was soothing for our chilled bodies.

I thought we would have to pay for the photos the guide was taking, but to my pleasant surprise, they sent the data directly to our phones right away.

If you rent a car, the meeting location is easy to find, so you won't have any trouble. Above all, the experience made the tour price feel very reasonable. If you come to the Big Island, you should definitely try this!

サンセットから始まるツアーです。夕日はすごい綺麗です！
マンタには絶対触れない‼️事を念を押され、その他説明を受けて海へダイブ、最初の数分は見られなくて、今日はハズレなのかなぁ〜なんて思ったらいきなり目の前に現れる。何回も旋回して目の前にも現れてくれるし、一回だけじゃなく何回も来てくれて2匹が列組んで来たり絶対に触れてはいけないと言われましたが、主人の身体にマンタの方から触れて大興奮です。日本人ガイドのタマエさんがとても親切で助かりました。
海に入っている時間が長いので身体が冷えます。ウェットスーツをレンタルして良かったけど、船に戻っても脱がなかった私達は冷え切ってしまいました。上がったらスーツは脱いでタオルにくるまっていれば良かったです。冷えた身体に配られたホットチョコはしみました。
ガイドさんが撮影していたから有料で買わされるんだろうなぁ〜と思ってましたが、データを携帯にすぐに送ってくれて、嬉しい驚きでした。
レンタカー借りていれば現地集合も場所もわかりやすいので困りません。
何よりツアー代金を安価に思わせる内容だったです。是非ハワイ島に来たら体験して下さい‼️

The two female guides were very educational and enthusiastic. They checked all the riders for safely along the way. Great views. We all laughed! Pictures were taken. We recommend this ranch.

We witnessed the amazing beauty of Hawaii and learned the ancient practices that are still used today. What an unbelievable experience!

I and my wife enjoyed SUP very much even though we struggled to stand up on the paddle. The instructor Kei and his assistant Mai were extremely helpful for this activity. One thing I’d like to fix in this activity is the initial meeting time was 8:45, but the actual time was 9:15, which made us upset. I think VETRA needs to fix this mismatch.

The manta ray came right up close, almost within reach. But I held back; I mustn't touch it. It was a dream-like hour.

While gently swaying on the horse, I occasionally stretched my legs. Along the way, I passed through herds of goats and cows, fully enjoying the great outdoors. On that day, it rained quite a bit, which I regret a little.

馬にゆっくり揺られながら、時々ホゾを伸ばして。
途中、ヤギや牛の群れの中を通り抜け
大自然を満喫しました。
当日、けっこうな雨で、それだけが少し悔やまれます。

Shawn is super polite and well educated in many topics regarding the lava, plant life, history and sites on the islands. He was particularly helpful in suggesting to us to change the itinerary so we could see the active eruption and we are so happy he made the suggestion. 100% well worth the private tour. We changed things up and kinda called audibles throughout the day and Shawn was all about it. We had a great dinner and the day was a total success. Thank you.

Planned this trip for over a year to go to Hawaii and all my boy would talk about was swimming with the dolphins. So for his 9th birthday I gave him the best birthday gift ever is what he told me with the biggest hug I’ve ever gotten from him.

Incredible day with an excellent crew for a fabulous day of boating on the Big Island of Hawaii! The crew was fantastic and so informative!

Absolutely amazing. You can feel the spirit and history of the land. Like no other place.

We had a great driver/tour guide in Omar. He shared his love for the valley where he was born and raised with such joy and we felt like we got an insider’s view. The personal anecdotes about his family, and tales of fishing, hunting, canoeing, surfing, etc., really made the tour come alive for us. The overlook provides a stunning view but going into the valley provided a rich context for life of the Hawaiian people who have lived off the land and sea for generations. The valley is such a special place, a piece of history and way of life beautifully preserved; I feel blessed and privileged to have had this experience. And we even met one of the wild horses.

This tour was mind blowing especially because of tour guide Felix! He showed us all the best spots and gave so much interesting history and facts without making you want to fall asleep LOL. First time in Hawaii and I’m so grateful to have been on this excursion! Amazing food, views and so much more. Thank you wasabi tours and even bigger thank you to Felix!! ❤️❤️

We learned so much about island and Hawaiian culture, especially from the knowledgeable luau host.The meats were perfect, with a unique and delicious combination of side dishes. The show was the icing on the cake!!! We will definitely be back.

I experienced it on May 7, 2025.
1. I was very satisfied with the location, the pilot, and the staff. I highly recommend it. 100 points.

2. Since my seat was on the left side, all the highlights were on the right side of the journey. The aircraft blocked my view, and I couldn't take the photos I wanted, which was disappointing. I requested the pilot to make a turn, but it was only accommodated once. Minus 40 points.

1、体感は、ロケーション、パイロット、スタッフのみなさんには大満足でした。
おすすめです。100点

2、席が左サイドだった為、見所は全行程右サイドで、隣りの人越し、機体が邪魔になり、せっかくのロケーションが写真も思うように撮れず、心が折れましたよ
パイロットに旋回をリクエストしたがその1回切りの対応でした。
マイナス40点。

I was able to fully enjoy the scenery while riding a horse along Kohala Coast. Although it's in English, they teach you how to ride carefully, so beginners and young children can also have fun. I would like to use this service again when I come back next time.

コハラコーストを馬に乗りながら、存分に景色を楽しめました。
英語ではありますが、丁寧に乗り方を教えてくれるので、初心者や幼い子供たちも楽しめます。
また次に来たときも利用したいです。

Kilauea was just amazing, I could go every day if it was possible!

We were pre-jittered, but for no reason as this was the calmest experience I could of imagined!

Quick and on time. Good way to see some of the sea life with young kids.

Found our tour guide Shaun (sp?) to be very informative about the area and Island history. Great scenery and an awesome education!

The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was a fulfilling day. It was really good. However, all the participants were Americans, and perhaps because they all had knowledge about Hawaii, the topics discussed were quite difficult. Things like how to buy land and rumors about Captain Cook. If you have prior knowledge and are fluent in English, it would be very enjoyable, but if your level is just average, you might feel a bit left out.

ガイドさんがとても熱心ないい方で、知識も豊富。充実感のある一日でした。とても良かったです。ただ参加者はアメリカ人の方ばかりで、またハワイに着いても知識がある方ばかりだったからか、話の内容がなかなか難しいものでした。土地の買い方やキャプテンクックの噂話など。事前知識があったり、おそらく英語がペラペラだととっても楽しいかと、ただそれなりレベルだとポツン悲しい思いをしてしまうかも。
