On that day, our family (two adults and an elementary school child) participated together. It was our first time kayaking, and since our child is a bit timid and had never been in water where they couldn't touch the bottom, we felt a little anxious about joining. The guide was very kind and taught us various things, allowing both us and our child to participate very enjoyably. During snorkeling, the guide changed locations while keeping an eye on our child and swam with us, for which we are truly grateful. Paddling outside the bay can be quite tiring, but it's a pleasant kind of fatigue. When we come back to the Big Island next time, we would like to participate again!

その日は私達家族(夫婦2人と小学生の子供)の3人で参加しました。カヤックは初挑戦でしたし、子供も怖がりで足のつかない水に入る事もした事がなかったので、少し不安を感じての参加でした。ガイドの方がとても親切に色々と教えて下さって、私達も子供もとても楽しく参加する事が出来ました。シュノーケルも子供の様子を見ながら色々と場所を変更したり一緒に泳いで下さったりして、本当に感謝です。湾の外に出て漕ぐので、結構疲れますが心地よい疲労感です。次回ハワイ島に来る時には、また参加したいと思います！

This was a fun way to spend my birthday. The captain and crew were super relaxed and funny, and the small size of the boat allowed for a sense of camaraderie and fun, as we zoomed through the water at high speeds (make sure to hold on!). Loved this intimate experience rather than some big show boat with a ton of people onboard.

It was great to move by boat while watching the sunset falling into the sea. The blue glowing lights were also fantastical and beautiful. After waiting for a few minutes holding onto a buoy like a board, a manta ray came from the ocean floor. It approached right below my stomach, opening its large mouth and spinning around. I was able to see three manta rays. It was wonderful.

ブルーに光るライトも幻想的できれいでした。
ボードのような浮きに掴って待つこと数分、海底からマンタがやってきました。大きなくちを開けてグルリグルリと回転しながら私のお腹のすぐ下まで来ました。３枚のマンタを見る事が出来ました。素晴らしかったです。

We would definitely recommend and do this again! We had a blast!

The all-you-can-eat snacks and drinks, including alcohol, were great. Meals in Hawaii are quite expensive, so I had been struggling to eat my fill for a while, but this day I had dinner here, and the cocktails were delicious too.

Of course, the cruising was amazing. I've never seen such a beautiful sunset before. A couple of mother and baby whales came close to us! You could only see their backs and tails above the water, but they were adorable. When I went whale watching in Waikiki, I could only see them tiny and far away, so I really appreciated this tour.

I highly recommend it. There was a bit of distance from the hotel to the meeting place, so it was my first time renting a car overseas, but I think driving on the Big Island is relatively easy. I'm glad my debut went well. Thanks to that, I was able to visit various beaches, and I'm grateful for that!

お菓子とアルコール含む飲み物が食べ放題　飲み放題でした。とにかくハワイの食事が高いので　なかなかお腹いっぱい食べれない日が続いていて　この日はここで夕飯がわり　カクテルも美味しくて良かったです。
もちろん　クルージングは　最高でした。あんな綺麗なサンセット今まで見た事ありません。くじらの親子も2組くらい近くに来てくれました！背中と尻尾くらいしか水面から見えませんが　可愛かったです。ワイキキに行った時もホェールウォッチングして来たのですが、ほんと遠くにちっちゃーく見えただけで　あんなものかと思ってただけに　このツアーは良かったーと思います。
おすすめです。ホテルから集合場所までちょっと距離があったので海外初めてのレンタカーでしたが、ハワイ島は運転しやすい方だと思います。デビュー上手く行って良かったです。おかげで、色んなビーチに遊びに行けて

It was a two and a half hour stage, and I had a great time without getting bored. The food was delicious as well. I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I understood English.

Horseback riding in nature was my first experience. By chance, I joined a Japanese tour, so I was able to receive guidance on how to handle the horses from the guide from start to finish.

大自然の中の乗馬　初めての体験でした。
たまたま、日本人ツアーと一緒になったのでガイドさんによる馬の扱い方などを最初から最後までお世話になることが出来ました。

This tour was fantastic from start to finish - from the quaint shop you meet to get on the shuttle to the informative guide to the incredible views, we couldn’t recommend more. Kolehe aka Douglas was our fearless leader who drove us into Waipio Valley and was just the best! So much fun, tons of passion for the island and specific area, and the perfect sense of humor and charm. It was my first off-roading experience, and needless to say, I’m addicted :) Don’t miss out on this awesome tour!

I participated with my 12-year-old and 8-year-old children. Although we were supposed to meet at 1 PM, we arrived 10 minutes late, but the guide said they were out for lunch.

Backpacks are not allowed; it's best to have something like a waist pouch that fits closely to your body. Some people were using insect repellent spray. I also got bitten by insects in a couple of places.

After changing to a different vehicle from the meeting point, we arrived at the Waipi'o Valley lookout. From there, the road continued to descend steeply. It was quite bumpy, and we crossed a river along the way. I'm glad we didn't have lunch right before; we would have definitely gotten car sick.

When we reached the scenic viewpoint, the driver stopped the car so we could take photos from inside.

Upon arriving at the horseback riding location, there was an explanation in English. It was something like, "When turning right, pull the reins to the right..." My 8-year-old daughter was scared because she is small, but she was trying her best since she couldn't ride with me. We rode for over an hour, and by the end, my legs were definitely tired.

The kids had a valuable experience, and we were all satisfied.

13時集合だったのに10分遅れてしまいましたがガイドさんがランチに行ってるとの事でした。

荷物はリュックはダメでウエストポーチみたいに体に密着するのがベストです。虫よけスプレーをふってる方もいらっしゃいました。私も２か所くらい虫に刺されました

集合場所から違う車に乗り換えワイピオ渓谷展望台に到着。そこから急降下の道が続きます。ガタガタ揺れますし途中川も渡りました。直前にランチしなくて良かったです。きっと車酔いしてそう
絶景ポイントがくると、車を止めれくれ車内から写真撮影。

乗馬場所に到着すると英語で説明があります。右に曲がるときは紐を右に・・・という感じの説明でした。
８歳の娘は小柄なため怖がっていたけど一緒に乗ることはできなかったため頑張っていました。
１時間以上乗っていましたが終わったときはやはり足が疲れていました

子供たちも貴重な体験ができたのでみんなで満足しました

The sea was wonderful, and I enjoyed both kayaking and snorkeling. Since there was no transportation provided, it was fine to wear my swimsuit and take an Uber to the meeting point at the hotel parking lot. However, after the tour ended, we dispersed in the parking lot. I had to change in the nearby hotel's restroom without any shower facilities. I really wished there had been at least a simple shower to rinse off the salt, and I would have appreciated having a place to change.

海は素敵でカヤックもシュノーケリングも楽しめました。
送迎がないので水着を着て集合場所のホテルの駐車場までウーバーでいくのは良いのですが、ツアーが終わったあとも、駐車場で解散となりました。着替えはシャワーもないままそばのホテルのトイレでしました。せめて簡易シャワーで塩を落としたかったですし、着替える場所も欲しかったです。

The event was held four times a week, and the schedule worked out well. At the opening, the ceremony where King Kamehameha's group solemnly landed on the ship really enhanced the atmosphere, which was great. The buffet-style food was well-managed by the staff, allowing guests to fill their plates without waiting in line, and during the wait, we could enjoy drinks while watching a mini-show, which was nice. The menu was clearly introduced on the website in advance, featuring many local Hawaiian ingredients and dishes, and the taste was excellent. The hula dance and fire show performed by the young male and female artists were beautiful and impressive. It was a satisfying show.

週4回の開催で日程がうまくとれた。
オープニングで、船に乗ってカメハメハ大王一団が厳かに上陸するセレモニーが雰囲気を盛り上げてくれ、よかった。
バイキング形式のお料理は、係員がお客を上手に案内して並ばずに盛り込め、待ち時間中はミニショーを見ながらドリンクがいただけてよかった。お料理の内容も事前にウエブで紹介されわかりやすく、ハワイ特産の素材、料理が多く、味もよかった。
フラダンス、ファイアーショーは演技者の若者男女、美しく、かっこよかった。満足いくショーでした。

It was the evening of the previous day, but I was able to smoothly make a reservation and complete the payment without any issues, allowing me to go whale watching the next morning. However, the meeting point on the map was at a different location from the same agent, which caused quite a bit of panic. Fortunately, a local person kindly explained everything to me, and I was able to make it on time.

前日の夕方でしたがスムーズに予約がとれ支払いも話題なく翌日の朝からホエールウォッチングする事ができましたが集合場所の地図が同じエージェントの別の場所になっておりかなり慌てました。現地の方に丁寧に説明していただき無事まにあいました。

Since it was horseback riding in the canyon, the horses didn't run, and although it was my first time riding, I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

After gathering at Art Works, all participants took a 4WD down to the canyon. (This alone was quite impressive.) Once we reached the bottom, there was a quick explanation of the horses we would be paired with for the day, and then we started riding. When I participated, two staff members taught us how to hold the reins and operate the horse in English.

The riding time felt ample, and we progressed slowly while enjoying the views of the canyon.

Along the way, there were puddles and rivers, so I thought it would be good to spray waterproofing on my athletic shoes to prevent mud and water from splashing.

I was satisfied to experience a horseback riding adventure that I can only enjoy in Hawaii.

渓谷での乗馬なので馬が走ったりすることもなく、初めての乗馬でしたが十分に楽しむことができました。

アートワークスに集合後、参加者全員で４WDに乗って渓谷まで下りていきます。(すでにこれがかなり見ごたえあります)
下までおりた後は、早速一人ひとりにその日のペアとなる馬の説明があって乗馬開始です。
私が参加したときは２名のスタッフの方が英語で手綱の握り方、操作を教えてくれました。

乗馬時間はたっぷりと感じるくらいいあり、渓谷の景色を眺めながらゆっくりと進んで良来ます。

① 虫よけスプレー
② アクションカメラや、スマホを首からぶら下げられる防水ケース
③ 日焼け止め

道中、水たまりや川があって泥や水が跳ね返る場合があるので、運動靴などに防水スプレーをかけていくと良いなと思いました。

ハワイ島だからこそ見れる景色で、普段できない乗馬体験をすることができて満足しました。

We weren't even able to set sail, and there was no communication.

I had booked a hotel transfer plan, but when the time came, the bus didn't arrive. When I called, I was told, "We found a defect in the boat, and we can no longer set sail." If it were due to weather or something similar, that would be one thing, but a defect in the boat?

Moreover, there was no communication at all, and I only found out it was canceled after I reached out.

We were on our honeymoon, and it was truly disappointing. I was told I could reschedule for another day, but there's no guarantee that the same issue won't happen again, and I can't trust this company, so I canceled.

I urge the tour company to establish a system that allows for immediate communication in case of cancellations, so that no one else has to go through this kind of experience. In this day and age, there are countless ways to communicate, including email, chat, and apps, not just phone calls.

I hope no one else has to suffer the same fate.

そもそも出航すらできておらず、連絡も無し。

ホテル送迎プランで予約してましたが、時間になってもバスが来ず、こちらから電話してみると「ボートに不備が見つかり出航が出来なくなりました」とのこと。
天候などの理由ならまだしも、ボート不備って。
しかもなんの連絡も無く、こちらから連絡して初めて「キャンセルになりました」って。

新婚旅行で来ていたのですが、本当に残念です。
別日に変更可能と言われましたが、次回同じことが起きない保証もないし、この会社自体信用できないのでキャンセルしました。

ツアー会社さんは、二度とこのような被害者を出さないよう、キャンセル時はすぐに連絡が出来る仕組みを整えてください。
このご時世、電話だけでなくメール、チャット、アプリなど方法はいくらでもあると思うので。

同じ被害に遭う人が出ないことを祈ります。

I found a similar tour that offered Japanese language support, but since this one was cheaper, I decided to join this tour instead. I passed by the Japanese tour group along the way, and they were following a similar course. The participants there were in their 40s to 60s, so the age group was a bit older.

In our tour, everyone except us was from Europe or America, so we spoke in English. They were friendly people in their 30s, which made for a fun atmosphere that I enjoyed. There were also some adventurous individuals who jumped off the rocks, so I think younger people would have more fun on this English tour.

The sun was strong, but I wore a long-sleeved rash guard, so I managed to avoid a bad sunburn. At first, I hesitated to leave my smartphone and valuables behind, but I was worried about them getting wet, so I decided to hand them over. As expected, I capsized once while kayaking on the way back and got soaked, so anyone going in the future should definitely leave their valuables before getting on the kayak.

似たようなツアーで日本語OKのものがあったのですが、値段が安かったのでこちらのツアーに参加しました。日本語ツアー組も途中すれ違ったので、似たようなコースを進んでいました。そちらの参加者は40～60代だったので高めの年齢層でした。

私たちのツアーは、私たち以外は欧米人だったので、英語でしゃべっていました。彼らは30代前後の友好的な人達だったので、私も楽しい雰囲気で楽しめました。
岩場から飛び降りたりしていたやんちゃな人もいたので、若い人ならこちらの英語のツアーの方が楽しめると思います。

日差しが強かったのですが、長袖のラッシュを着ていたので、ひどい日焼けはしなくて済みました。最初、スマホや貴重品を預けるのを躊躇したのですが、水没が心配だったので預けることにしました。案の定、カヤックで帰ってくるときに1回転覆してびしょびしょになったので、これから行く人は迷わず貴重品はカヤックに乗る前に預けた方が賢明です。

Pick up was right on time!
Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable and passionate about Hawaii island from legends to Hawaii original plants and animals. He kept entertaining us until his voice got hoarse! My favorite part of the tour was definitely the lava tube. it's really amazing!! The way to and from the lava tube is super bumpy and rough. If you get motion sickness, you should take medication for it. I brought kids (12 and 10) with us and they enjoyed themselves as well. Hiking was very mild so anyone can enjoy this tour, I think.

The cruiser was large and the wind was strong, but it was okay. I was moved to see whales swimming to the right and left in front of the boat. However, there were no jumps, and I was a bit disappointed with just the body and tail. But I guess that's nature for you.

Maybe because it was an early morning, I was able to spend the day very leisurely. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were also very kind and it was a lot of fun.

クルーザーも大きく風が強かったがまあまあでした。
鯨も舟の先へと右へと左へとみることが出来感動でした。でもジャンプ等はなく胴体しっぽなどで少々期待外れ。でも相手は自然界しょうがないですね。
朝が早かったせいか、１日がゆっっくりと過ごせました。
とても素晴らしい経験でした。スタッフの方々もとても親切で楽しかったです。

We had a great time on our tour. Our driver/guide Kaleo, who is from Waipio Valley was very informative and funny. Kaleo stopped to let us out so we could get a better view of Hiilawe waterfall. We also saw several wild horses up close The check-in at the gallery was easy and a great place to browse while waiting (we arrived early) We highly recommend this tour. We felt sorry for the people who decided to walk down because the walk back up is very steep.

I participated in the manta tour, but unfortunately, we couldn't see any mantas due to rough seas. Since it was the last day on the Big Island and I was scheduled to return to Oahu, I was a bit disappointed thinking I wouldn't be able to participate in any more activities, even with the guarantee system in place.

However, I was informed that since the headquarters is located on Oahu, I could switch to a local tour there, and I was able to join a dolphin swim tour in Oahu!

That tour was amazing, as I got to swim with many dolphins.

Although I was disappointed not to see mantas on the manta tour, the comprehensive guarantee system helped me avoid feeling like I lost out. I highly recommend this company's tours over others.

マンタツアー参加しましたが、シケのためマンタは見れず。
ハワイ島も最終日でオアフ島に戻る予定だったため、保障制度があっても今回の旅ではもう参加できないな〜と少しがっかりしてました。

しかし、本社がオアフ島にあるとのことで、そちらの現地ツアーに振り替えもできますと言われ、オアフ島でイルカ中学のツアーに参加することができました！

そちらのツアーはたくさんのイルカと泳ぐことご出来てとても素晴らしかったです。

マンタツアーではマンタ見れず残念でしたが、保障制度が手厚いため損した気分にならずに済みました。ほかの会社よりもこちらの会社のツアーがおすすめです。

I thought it would be about two hours, but it ended up being close to three hours, which was enjoyable. However, for the first two hours or so, the host's talk and performances delayed the start of the actual Hawaiian show. It might be a reminder to take it easy and enjoy Hawaiian time. The show itself wasn't much different from what I've seen outside of Hawaii.

２時間ほどかと思っていたら、３時間近くあって長く楽しめた。ただ、最初の２時間くらいは、司会者の話と演奏でなかなか、本来のハワイアンショーが始まらない。せかせかせず、ハワイタイムを過ごせということかも知れないが。
ショー自体は、Hawaii以外で観たものと、あまり変わりは無かった。

The speed of the boat to the fishing grounds was extraordinary and it was a thrilling activity. I was able to see the humpback whale's spout, and the beautiful sunset was perfect. The water was cold, so I was glad to borrow a wetsuit. I was fortunate to see a manta ray, even if just once. The hot cocoa on the way back was delicious!

漁場までのボートのスピードは尋常でなくスリリングなアクティビティでした。ザトウクジラの潮吹きも見られたし、キレイなサンセットもバッチリでした。海中は冷たいのでウエットスーツは借りて良かったです。一度だけですがマンタを見られて良かったです。帰りのホットココアが美味しかったです‼️

The sea was very rough due to the front passing the day before. Despite that, we set sail. I was moved to see a manta ray, but I spent a long time in the water and my body got completely cold. When I got back on the boat, I was so cold that my stomach hurt, and my hands trembled for a while. It seems that the temperature in Hawaii in February is low as well. There was a Japanese guide, but I had to ask for information about the restroom and changing area; they didn't provide it on their own.

前日の前線通過で海は大荒れ。
その中での出港。マンタは見れて感動しましたが、海の中にいる時間も長くとにかく体が冷え切りました。
船に上がった時には、体が冷えすぎてお腹が痛く、手の震えもしばらく止まりませんでした。
ハワイ島も2月は気温が低いようです。
日本語ガイドもいましたがトイレの場所や更衣場所の案内はこちらから聞かないと教えてもらえませんでした。

It started to rain and the activity was canceled midway, but they rescheduled it for the next day, allowing us to try again. They carefully taught us how to ride the Segway, and we visited various sightseeing spots for two hours. We sped down the old airport runway and even tried riding with our hands open, which was incredibly fun.

We stopped at a farmer's market along the way to buy local fruits, and during a break, they let us try dragon fruit for the first time. They even took photos and videos, leaving us with great memories. It was a very satisfying activity.

雨が降り出してしまい途中で中止になりましたが、翌日に変更してもらい再挑戦できました。丁寧にセグウェイの乗り方を教えてくれて、2時間もいろんな観光名所にセグウェイで行き、旧空港の滑走路ではスピードを出したり、手を開いて乗ってみたりして、最高に楽しかったです。
ローカルフルーツを途中のファーマーマーケットで購入してくれて、途中の休憩ではじめてのドラゴンフルーツも食べさせてくれました。
写真やビデオまで撮ってくれて、良い思い出も残り大満足なアクティビティでした。

I visited Kealakekua Bay, known as the Path of the Gods. The hotel I stayed at was the Sheraton, which was conveniently located just a short walk from the meeting point. Since it's the end point for the trolley, I think it's easy to get there even if you don't rent a car or stay at the Sheraton.

The guide spoke English and was very knowledgeable about history, answering any questions we had. Additionally, to protect the coral, we were allowed to use environmentally friendly sunscreen for free. The water was truly beautiful, and I was able to see many cute fish! It was February, but I enjoyed myself without a rash guard. It was a bit chilly, so I couldn't stay in the water the whole time... haha. After snorkeling, they provided fresh fruit, snacks, and drinks on the boat! It was really great!

神々の道と言われるケアラケクア湾に行きました。止まっていたホテルがシェラトンだったので歩いてすぐの集合場所で便利が良かったです。トロリーの終点なのでレンタカーしてない&シェラトン宿泊者じゃなくても行きやすいと思います。
ガイドは英語ですが、歴史の知識も豊富で聞けばなんでも答えてくれます。また珊瑚保護のため、環境に優しい日焼け止めも無料で使用させてもらえます。本当に水がキレイな場所なのでたくさんのかわいい魚たちを見ることができました！2月でしたが、ラッシュガードなしで楽しめました。少し寒くてフルタイムで水の中に入っていられなかったですが…笑　シュノーケルの後、船の上でフレッシュフルーツとスナック、飲み物を用意してくれますよ！とても良かったです！

I signed up for whale watching for the first time. The guide spoke English and explained everything very clearly, so I was able to enjoy the time until we reached the point where we could see the whales without getting bored. We happened to encounter a mother and baby whale, and since they were right beneath the boat, I was lucky to see the whole thing. It was great that there were drinks available, including alcohol.

初めてホエールウォッチングに申し込みました。
英語のガイドでしたが、とても分かりやすく説明してくださって、クジラが見えるポイントまで飽きずに過ごせました。
たまたま親子のクジラにも遭遇出来て、船の真下にいたので、全体も見えてラッキーでした。
飲み物もアルコールがあって、とても良かったです。

It was my first time on a helicopter. I boarded it thanks to the opportunity provided by "Tōdai Ō." We were blessed with great weather, with no wind or clouds, making it a very elegant journey.
It was quite a distance from Kona, and the round trip was challenging. However, I highly recommend it as we got to see the crater from above, as well as the beautiful ocean and ʻōhiʻa lehua. It was an exhilarating two hours from start to finish.

人生初のヘリコプターでした。東大王がきっかけに搭乗しました。お天気に恵まれ、風も雲も無く、とても優雅な旅になりました。
コナから距離があり、往復は大変でした。ですが、火口を上空から眺めたり、綺麗な海やオヒアレフアを見れたり、おすすめです。終始大興奮の2時間でした。

This was my first time participating. In the end, I didn't get to see any manta rays... However, this company offers a free tour next time if you don't see manta rays. I participated in this tour on the Big Island, but since the company also has a branch on Oahu, I signed up for a snorkeling tour to see turtles there, which was really free. They provided transportation to and from the hotel, which was very accommodating. The entire crew was energetic and kept the participants entertained from start to finish. During snorkeling, I was able to observe turtles right in front of me, explore the seabed while free diving, and play on a waterslide and trampoline on the water—such a satisfying experience! They also provided warm drinks, which was helpful. The pineapple was super delicious. Chanel from the Oahu branch, it became a wonderful memory of Hawaii! Thank you. And to the crew on the Big Island, you were all handsome with your Kansai dialect! Thank you.

がしかし、ここの会社はマンタが見られなかったら次回のツアーは無料。
今回はハワイ島での参加でしたがオアフ島にも会社があるので後日オアフ島でカメを見に行くシュノーケリングツアーへ参加申し込みして本当に無料。ホテルまで送迎してくれて至れり尽くせり。クルー全員元気が良くて参加者を最初から最後まで楽しませてくれました。シュノーケリングでは目の前でカメを観察できたり素潜りで海底を散策！？出来たり海の上での滑り台やトランポリンで遊んだり大満足！！温かい飲み物も出してくれて助かりました。パイナップル超美味しかったです。オアフ支社のシャネルちゃん、良きハワイの思い出になりました！ありがとう

We found this trip rather disappointing. It was supposed to last for an hour but we returned to the pier after 50 minutes. In the event we had probably seen all there was to see after 20 minutes. You see rather dull brown/grey coral, some small blue and yellow fish and some sea urchins - No wrays or sharks or anything unusual. In fact the guide started to describe the history of the buildings on the shoreline as we headed back. Not worth the money.
