Our canoe boat trip was great. We loved the smaller boat experience - only about 12 of us - vs. the big catamarans. The captain and crew of two were friendly and fun. In the water we saw lots of Manta Rays. Our young lady crew member filled us in on lots of info about manta rays while in the water. My son took lots of GoPro videos and images. One hour was just right, since the trip out to the viewing spot only took a few minutes.

It was a rainy warm trip but had a lot of fun. Devon was a great guide and although we did not see any turtles we saw plenty of fish and coral. Also learned a lot about the local area and history. Very helpful for getting our son, who is not a strong swimmer and new to snorkeling, into the water. Our guide explained everything very well and emphasized safety and respect for the land, sea and marine life.

A fantastic experience - would do it again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time on the sunset sail! The captain and staff were patient and so friendly. The boat was clean. Snacks and beverages/cocktails were provided. The ride was smooth and the sunset was beautiful. Our previous sail was cancelled and we were rebooked for this cruise and so pleased with the outcome. We would do this again and highly recommend it to visitors the area.

We arrived early some did not which put us behind.
Please please wear the right kind of clothes to ride a horse.
Not a dress and heels.
Beautiful ride horses healthy and well taken care of.
Our guides were awesome very knowledgeable of area and great conversation.
I wish there was more time at waterfall.

Dancers and fire workers were all very good.
Wish they would have had table appetizers like a few years ago. They did not offer Lei for purchase. When we asked valet for a Lei they were rude and said for guests only.
Location was pretty but no view of ocean.
Food was nicely presented and tasty.

Grant was amazing. I enjoyed his jokes, enthusiasm, love, and care for the island. I hope he continues to stay blessed on this island and continues to do what he loves happily. Thanks, Grant and Deluxe volcano tour for giving me my money's worth. Everything you needed was provided and you don’t need to spend any more money because they feed you well. I could brag all day about this tour because everything about it was amazing!! If you're going to Kona book this tour with Grant!! He is knowledgeable and will make it worth it!! Mahalo

The staff was amazing and very attentive! The only drawback was the food, I wasn’t impressed at all! The guy playing the music was great! The guide that was narrating could not be heard where we were sitting! I think they need to upgrade their speakers!

We had a great time on this tour. The van picked us up on the Kona side and took us over to Hilo then VNP. Along the way we got to see Rainbow falls, a fantastic lava tube and VNP - Killawea during the day and at sunset.

Can’t recommend highly enough!! So much fun, the equipment, boat, and crew are great.

This tour was awesome! We would certainly book this excursion again. It was so nice to stop at the Coffee farm and learn about the interesting way they grow the coffee beans- beautiful scenery as well. Black Sands beach was amazing, so unique and picturesque. The nightcap was the best of all, seeing the volcano and its red glow..... truly amazing and something we will never forget. I definitely have to commend our tour guide, Derek, who was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable and I could tell he really enjoyed teaching us about the island and things we experiences and saw along our tour. Definitely a must do when you come to the island.

The guides and the captain were all very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful, which made the tour extra enjoyable and fun! We saw schools of little fish and minnows right in front of our eyes (they also occasionally ran into our hands and faces) and definitely saw a couple huge manta rays! Overall a fun tour.
Quick tip: wearing the wetsuit helped a lot, as the water got really cold when it got dark, and longer you stay in the water, the colder it gets. Also, would not recommend going the day you get off the plane, as my boyfriend and I got extremely seasick towards the end of the manta ray viewing. However, our guides and the captain gave us many tips on how to feel better and fed us with snacks and drinks.

I couldn't see any fish while snorkeling. When I experienced it on Oahu before, I was able to see a lot.

We spent 8 days on the big island and participated in a number of guided activities (submarine, luau, snorkling, parasail, zip lines) This was by far the most enjoyable. The staff was excellent. There was a great deal of interaction with the dolphins. (We weren't just watching the staff have them perform behaviors) It was educational. It was amazing. It was fun.

The whole crew was outstanding. So helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, personable. We had a great time. Thanks so much to Seaquest!!! Highly recommend.

The crew and team were great/ I had 6 kids ages 5-10 and they did a great job and were very accommodating and helpful! Would do it again!

Jasmine, Brett, Alex and Micah did a fantastic job leading our group. We didn't see any dolphins, but we still had a great time. I highly recommend this. be prepared, because the web site is very misleading. Parking is very limited and you may have to walk a long distance after parking.

This was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend it! Everything felt safe and easy. We were able to focus on the wonderful display from the rays under us. The team was amazing, and even took pictures. All around incredible.

My husband, kids (11 and 13) and I ended our time in Hawaii with the morning kayak/snorkel trip with Ocean Safari. It ended up being our favorite adventure of our time on the Big Island. The trip includes a kayaking on the ocean and in to caves (weather permitting), snorkeling and the option for cliff jumps if you're brave enough. No experience needed! The guides tell you all you need to know about kayaking. They supply the snorkeling equipment, life vest, water/snacks and share the tips you need to know (like your sunglasses do not float so leave your favorites behind). So bring yourself and slather on the sunscreen for a great time!

We had a great time with the deluxe volcano tour. Gary was professional, knowledgeable, nice and took a very good care of us and everyone in the trip. We had a yummy lunchbox and tasty three courses dinner with the nice ambiance. Lava flow at night was amazing. Thank you so much. Recommended!!

Water was calm so kayaking was relatively easy. Water was beautiful alongside the black lava rock cliffs. We saw a large sea cave and those who were brave enough were able to jump off the top of it into the water. I’m guessing it was a 40ft jump. We also had a smaller cliff to jump from I’m guessing about 25ft tall. The snorkeling was good too again in calm waters. Very enjoyable and would do again. Wear plenty of sunscreen.

Wonderful night out on the water. Dominic was very charming while sharing his knowledge and experiences. Dave was also helpful and engaging. Thank you for the experience. Love to come back for a repeat.

I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to do a fun and exciting ATV tour of the Waipio Valley. The tour guides were excellent. They took all the time to explain everything about the 750 acre property, the Waipio Valley, the ocean, the animals, etc. The ATV's were in great working order. We had no issues at all with them. The guides kept us safe at all times but we had a lot of fun!

The Manta Ray snorkel experience was AMAZING! one of our favorite things we did on the Big Island. The crew was so fun and helpful. The hot chocolate after we got out of the water was the perfect touch. Definitely book this tour!!!

If you are looking for a tour to give you a quick peak at some really fun spots with a ton of information this is the tour to take. Thia is phenomenal and gives you a ton of extra information like her favorite food spots, Beach spots, or any kind of recommendation you could be thinking of. She was so knowledgeable, engaging, and took extremely great care of our group. Couldn’t recommend it more!

I stayed at the Royal Kona Resort, which overlooks the show venue. As mentioned in the reviews, you can also see it from the poolside, but if you want to see the entire show, which lasts just under an hour, I think it's better to sit in the venue. If you expect good seating and service, the premium seats would be a better choice.

As I read in the reviews beforehand, I lined up 15 minutes before the reception started to get a good seat. Upon entry, we chose our drinks at the counter in order, and then we had to go pick them up ourselves. In the premium seats, they come to take your drink orders and bring them to you.

When the meals are ready, they guide each table. I didn't have high expectations for the food, so I took a small portion, but I was able to finish it all, so I think it wasn't that bad.

The show started earlier than I expected, before sunset, and it ended with the sun going down. The dancing included Polynesian dances, including fire dancing, which got the audience involved and excited. At the end, you can take a commemorative photo with the performers on stage in the background. You can also purchase photos taken of your group upon entry.

ショーの会場のロイヤルコナリゾートに宿泊して、たまたま会場を見下ろせる部屋でした。また、口コミ通り、プールサイドからも見えますが、1時間弱のショーを全部見るなら会場の席に座って観た方がよいと思います。席の位置やサービスを期待するなら上級席の方が良いでしょう。
事前に読んだ口コミ通り、良い席に座れるように受付開始15分前から並びました。入場時に飲み物カウンターで順番に飲み物を選んで手渡され、後は自分でカウンターへ取りに行きます。上級席では飲み物の注文を取りに来て、持ってきてくれます。
食事は準備ができるとテーブル毎に案内されます。もともと食事には期待していなかったので少なめに取ったのですが、残さずに食べられたのでそれほど悪くはなかったと思います。
ショーは思ったより早く、日が落ちる前に始まり、途中で沈みました。踊りはハワイ島というよりもファイアーダンスも含めたポリネシアンダンスで、会場から参加を募ったり盛り上がりました。最後には舞台上の出演者を背景にした記念写真が撮れます。また、入場時にグループ毎に撮影した写真を購入することもできます。
