First of all, this tour starts with a meeting point, so it was an adventure for us from the beginning. We left Hilton Waikoloa a little over an hour before the meeting time and arrived safely after about 50 minutes, but the parking lot in front of Fair Wind was already full. We were directed to a parking area deep in the woods across the way (which was just right in front). It was very difficult to find... However, my mother had checked other people's blogs, so if you're worried, you might want to look there.

We took a large boat to Kealakekua Bay. It was a one-hour boat ride, but it wasn't too bumpy, and we were able to have breakfast, so it went by quickly. There is a second floor, but since meals are served on the first floor, I recommend staying on the first floor.

Once we arrived at the bay, we could snorkel freely. There were no Japanese staff, but they made sure to provide fins and floaties. The floaties, which looked like sumo wrestling mawashi, were quite amusing, but they allowed us to snorkel for a long time, making it very comfortable.

I don't think there were any explanations in English about the fish or where to find them, so you can just immerse yourself in snorkeling. Some people were jumping into the sea from the slide, while others finished snorkeling early to have lunch on the boat or enjoy the scenery; everyone was very relaxed.

On the way back, I was hoping to see dolphins, but I didn't find any. However, when I heard a loud noise and looked towards the back of the boat, there was a man struggling with a fishing line that had a reaction. Everyone cheered, and when a large barracuda came out, the atmosphere on the boat was electric.

This tour is recommended for those who want to enjoy their meals, snorkeling, and the scenery at a leisurely pace.

まずこのツアーは現地集合なのでそこから私たちにとっては冒険でした
集合時間の一時間ちょっと前にヒルトンワイコロアを出て、50分ほどで無事
到着しましたが、フェアウインドの前の駐車場はすでに埋まっていて、
対岸の（といってもすぐ目の前）方までぐるっとまわった林の中の駐車場を
案内されました。これを見つけるのはとても難しい・・・
でも他の人のブログで母がチェックしていたので心配な方はそちらを
そして、大型船でケアラケクア湾へ　一時間の船旅ですがそこまで揺れませんし、朝ご飯を食べられるのであっという間でした。
2階もありますが、食事が一階にありますので一階がおすすめ

日本人スタッフはいませんが、ヒレや浮き輪などちゃんと声をかけてくれます
相撲のまわしのような浮き輪がとても笑えますが、長い間シュノーケリング
出来るのでとても楽でした。
お魚の説明や、どこにいるよとかは特に英語でも説明はなかったと
思うので、ただただシュノーケリングに没頭できます
滑り台からジャンプして海に入ってる人や・早めにシュノーケリングを終えて
船内で昼食を食べてる人、景色を楽しんでる人それぞれで
とってもまったりしています。
帰る際には、イルカが見られるかもと思って探していましたが、見つからず、
大きな声がして船内の後方をみるとなんと、おじさんが反応のあった釣り糸と格闘中。みんなで応援して、大きなシーラが出てきたときは、船内は大盛り上がりでした。
ゆっくり、食事もシュノーケリングも景色も楽しみたい方にはおすすめのツアーです

It was my first dolphin tour. I encountered a pod of about 200 dolphins and was able to swim with them! When I entered the water, I could hear the dolphins' calls all around me, and I was moved as dolphins swam right past me. There were four opportunities to swim with the dolphins, and I was able to swim with them during all of those chances. I felt grateful to have come, as I was told that encountering this many dolphins is rare. It was truly an emotional and unforgettable experience.

初めてのイルカツアーでした。
約200頭程のイルカの群れに遭遇して、一緒に泳ぐ事が出来ました！海に入るとイルカの鳴き声がたくさん聞こえ、すごく近くをイルカが通り過ぎていき感動。イルカへのアタックチャンスは4回もあり、全てのアタックでイルカと一緒に泳ぐ事ができました。こんなにイルカと遭遇できるのはレアだと言われて来て良かったなぁと思いました。本当に本当に感動的で初めての体験ばかりでした。

At the top of the tour introduction on the website, there is a photo of a sea turtle, so I thought I would be able to see sea turtles while snorkeling, but in reality, I didn't see any at all.

Even though the weather was good, the water clarity wasn't that high, and I couldn't experience snorkeling that was truly impressive.

There was an explanation on the way to the snorkeling point by boat, but it was all in English. I was shown a Japanese explanation, but I think that was probably just a part (the minimum information). I believe they were explaining various things, but as someone who struggles with English, I could hardly understand anything.

When we arrived at the snorkeling point, we were allowed to jump into the sea from the boat and snorkel freely.

The guide was resting under a parasol on the boat. There was no explanation about where any fish were. I didn't even know how long we were allowed to snorkel.

After getting out of the water, we were given fruit (pineapple, apple, orange) and a small bag of snacks. (I was disappointed that this was the light meal...)

After that, we went by boat near a cave, but we couldn't enter the cave; we just looked at it from the boat. There was no Japanese explanation here either, so I didn't understand anything at all.

After that, we returned to the port by boat and disbanded. Given all this, I felt that the cost was quite high.

Moreover, there was no pick-up service, and I had to make my own way to the meeting point. Since I was staying at a hotel in the Mauna Lani area, it took about an hour to get to the meeting point.

シュノーケリングでウミガメが見れるかと思ったけど
実際は全然見れなかった。

天気もよかったのに、海の透明度もそんなに高い訳ではなく
感動するほどのシュノーケリングは体験できなかった。

ボートでシュノーケリングできるポイントまで行く途中で説明があるが
すべて英語。
日本語での説明書きを見せてもらえるが、それはたぶん一部（最低限の情報）だと思う。
実際はいろいろ説明してたと思うが、英語が苦手な私にはほぼ理解できなかった。

シュノーケリングポイントについたら、勝手にボートから海に飛び込み
好き勝手にシュノーケリングするタイプ。

ガイドさんはボートの上にパラソルをたてて休憩していた。
どこに何の魚がいるとかの説明すらない。
どのくらいの時間シュノーケリングしてて良いのかさえ分からなかった。

海から上がると、パイナップル・リンゴ・オレンジのフルーツと
小さい袋のスナック菓子が配られた。
（軽食ってこれか…とガッカリ）

その後、ボートで洞窟の近くに行ったが
洞窟の中に入れるわけでもなく、ただボートに乗ったまま外から眺めるだけ。
ここは日本語の説明書きもなかったので、説明はまったく分からなかった。

その後は、ボートで港に戻って解散。
これだけなので、費用としてはかなり高く感じた。

しかも送迎がなく、自力で集合場所に行かなければならない。
マウナラニ地区のホテルに宿泊していたので、集合場所まで1時間くらいかかった。

On my first experience, unfortunately, I couldn't meet a manta ray, but I was told I could retry for free, so I challenged myself again four days later! When we arrived at the spot, just before it got dark, a manta ray came by, and everyone hurriedly jumped into the sea. The manta ray came so close that it brushed against our bodies, opening its large mouth and feeding on plankton while spinning around several times. On that day, three manta rays showed up, and it was incredibly exciting. The weather was nice, so on the way back, we could see a sky full of stars, and the Milky Way was clearly visible, making it a doubly enjoyable experience. I am grateful to the Japanese guide for being so kind. I would like to participate again when I visit the Big Island. However, two friends who joined me on the first attempt got severely seasick, so they decided not to retry. While waiting for the manta rays on the boat, it can be quite nauseating as the boat sways, so I think it's better for those who are prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication.

１回目の体験で、残念ながらマンタに会う事ができませんでしたが、無料でリトライできると言われ４日後に再び挑戦！
ポイントに着くと、暗くなる前にマンタがやって来てくれ、皆慌てて海に飛び込みました。
体すれすれまでマンタが来て、大きな口を開けてプランクトンを何回も回転しながら食べてくれました。
この日は３枚のマンタがやってきてくれ、大興奮でした。
お天気も良かったので、帰りの船の中から満天の星が見え、天の川もくっきりと見えて２度おいしい体験ができました。
日本語ガイドの方にも親切にしていただけて、感謝しています。
またハワイ島に行った際には参加したいです。
ただ、１回目に一緒に参加した友人２人はひどく船酔いしてしまったのでリトライは断念しました。
マンタ待ちで、船上待機の際はかなり気持ち悪く船が揺れますので、酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲んだ方が良いと思います。

First time and it was great fun.... step off the tower and away you go... I would do it again.... and again....

The reservation indicated a duration of 10 minutes, but the overall time was about 30 minutes. The time to touch the dolphin was 10 minutes, which was sufficient for a three-year-old.

The process involved receiving explanations with other reservation groups, using a stuffed dolphin to demonstrate how to interact with the dolphins and what to be cautious about, which sparked the children's interest in a fun way. After that, two family groups began interacting with the dolphins, gently touching their backs and feeding them fish. While taking photos, we were also able to see the dolphins jump at times.

Although my child was scared, they were able to pet the dolphin, and it seems to have left a memorable experience for them.

Since taking photos with your own camera is not allowed (smartphones are also prohibited), you will need to purchase photos, which are not cheap. They are about the same price as photos bought at an amusement park, or slightly higher. The cost varies depending on whether you buy all the image data or select a certain number of photos.

If you want to keep photo costs down, it might be a good idea to ask a family member who is not participating to take pictures from outside the area. I ended up purchasing about three photo files because there was no one to take pictures for me. It became a wonderful memory.

予約内容は10分との表記でしたが、全体時間は30分くらいの時間だったと思います。イルカを触る時間が10分なのですが、三歳児くらいであればその程度で十分でした。

流れは、他の予約グループと説明を受け、
イルカのさわり方や注意することをイルカの
ぬいぐるみを使いながら、楽しく子どもの興味を沸かせていました。
その後、家族のグループ2つでそれぞれイルカと触れ合い開始。背中を優しく触ったり、魚をあげたり。写真を撮っていただきながら、時にはイルカのジャンプも見ることができました。

子どもは恐がりながらも撫でることができ、頑張った思い出として残っているようです。

自分のカメラで撮影をすることはNGなため（スマホもダメ）写真を買うことになりますが、安くはありません。アミューズメントパークで買う写真と同じくらいか、少し上くらい。
画像データまたは写真を全てか、選択した枚数で金額が変わります。

写真代を抑えたいのであれば、例えば他の参加しない家族に撮影をお願いするなどして、外のエリアから撮ってもらうのも手だと思います。
私は、撮ってくれる人が居なかったため写真データを3枚ほど購入しました。
良い思い出となりました。

Great crew, got us to the spot off the airport, lots of other boats there, lights on and after a while Manta Rays showed up. The cool part was when a 10-12 foot wide one did 3 manta rolls right in our faces. It was too much to hope for but it happened.

The sunset from the boat was beautiful, and the feeling of speed on the boat was enjoyable. I also got to see a manta ray, so I have no complaints. If I had to say something, I should have been better prepared for seasickness and the cold. I reflect on that.

ボートからの夕日が綺麗だし、ボートのスピード感も楽しかった。マンタも見れたし、文句なしでした。
あえて言うなら、船酔いと寒さ対策をもうちょっとちゃんとするべきだった。反省。

It takes about 30 minutes by boat from the port to Manta Point while enjoying the sunset. We lowered LED surfboards around the point to attract plankton and the manta rays that feed on them... and they appeared! After confirming their presence, we entered the water and snorkeled around the surfboards to observe the mantas. They also lent us noodles (floating poles), and we spent about 45 minutes in the water. It was an exhilarating experience to see two mantas rolling right in front of us! On the way back to the port after snorkeling, it can be chilly with just a swimsuit due to the wind. It was a good decision to rent a wetsuit, even though there was an additional fee.

港からマンタポイントまで30分ほど、夕陽を見ながら船で移動します。
ポイント周辺でLED付きのサーフボードをおろして、プランクトンと、これを食むマンタを呼ぶことしばし...。現れてくれました！
姿を確認してから海へ入り、サーフボードの周りでシュノーケリングしながらマンタ見学。ヌードル(浮きポール)も貸していただいて、45分くらい海に入っていました。
2 枚のマンタがローリングを繰り返すのを目の前で見ることができ、大興奮の体験でした！
シュノーケル後に港に戻るときは風も受けるので水着だけでは寒いと思います。追加料金が必要ですが、ウェットスーツを借りて正解でした。

I went to a different location than the one which was thought.
I expected the manta was not seen only a little,but I think that nature is unavoidable because the opponent.
The staff are very friendly and made an effort.

We participated with two families. We were able to interact with dolphins, and the children were very happy. It was a valuable experience. They also take photos, so it's fine for everyone to join. Since towels are not provided, bringing your own is essential.

二家族で参加しました。イルカと触れ合うことが出来、子どもたちも大喜び。貴重な体験となりました。写真も撮ってくださるので、皆で参加しても問題ありません。タオルは無い為、持参必須です。

We participated in the tour starting at 2:00 PM. The morning tour is about $50 more expensive and includes breakfast and lunch, and if you want transportation included, it’s an additional $20. Since we went by rental car, it cost us about $100 each. I’ve been on lunch-inclusive tours a few times, but I don’t have a great impression of meals prepared on the boat! I think the morning tours attract more customers due to the wave height, but the snorkeling spots are calm, so it’s reassuring. This tour definitely requires English proficiency; if you're not confident, having a Japanese guide is a safer option. Everything on the boat is in English, including explanations and safety instructions, so you need to pay attention to avoid danger! We didn’t see any dolphins, but there were plenty of fish!

午後便で、14：00時からのツアーに参加、午前中のツアーは朝食とランチが付いて50ドル程高くなり、送迎付きだと 更に20ドル程高くなります、私達は、レンタカーで行ったので、一人100ドル程、ランチ付きのツアーは何回か行きましたが、所詮 舟の中で作る食事、あまり良いイメージがありませんので！午前にお客が偏るのは、やはり 波に高さだと思いますが、シュノーケルをするスポットは、波が無いので安心できます、このツアーは英語力は絶対必要で、自信の無い方は、日本語ガイド付きが安心です、船内は全て英語、説明 注意などなど、ちゃんと聞かないと、危険なので！イルカはみれませんでしたが、魚はたくさんいましたよ〜

I came to the Big Island of Hawaii for the first time with three beautiful single women from Japan. Since all of us, including myself, love the ocean, we were determined to go snorkeling while in Hawaii. Because this was a quick trip, I wanted to enjoy the ocean efficiently without renting a car, so I looked for snorkeling tours and found this tour to swim with wild dolphins.

On the day of the tour, the weather was great, and we had a guide who was well-versed in the ocean and dolphin ecology. We had a wonderful time swimming with many dolphins. On our way out to sea, we encountered a very rare pilot whale, which was an exciting memory for all of us.

I definitely want to repeat this experience when I go back to the Big Island!

日本から独身の美女3人を引き連れて、初めてハワイ島に遊びに来ました。自分を含めて全員海が大好きなので、ハワイ島に来たら絶対にスノーケルをしようと思っていました。今回は弾丸旅行だったこともあり、レンタカーを借りずに効率的に海遊びをしたいと考え、ベルトラさんのスノーケリングツアーを探して、目に留まったのがこの野生のイルカと泳ぐツアーでした。

当日はお天気も良く、海やイルカの生態を知り尽くしているガイドさんにアテンドしていただき、本当にたくさんのイルカとともに楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。船で沖まで出る途中に、すごくレアなゴンドウクジラに遭遇して、みんなで興奮したのも良い思い出になりました。

またハワイ島に行ったら絶対にリピートしたいと思います！

I was thrilled by the number of dolphins that exceeded my expectations.

The day we participated was incredibly lucky; since it was just my husband and me, we had a private tour and were able to set sail early. Within about five minutes of departure, we encountered a pod of dolphins, and we hardly moved the boat at all. We were able to stay in the water and watch the dolphins for a long time.

I was impressed by Daisuke and Kevin, who were in charge that day. Their overflowing love for the dolphins and their professionalism in entertaining the guests were truly remarkable.

There are many dolphin tours available, but I absolutely recommend the Aloha Kona Tour.

予想を上回るイルカの数に大興奮しました。

私たちが参加した日は、とてもラッキーな日で、主人と2人で貸切だったこともあり、早く出航することができたので、出航して5分ほどでイルカの群れに遭遇し、ボートで移動することはほとんどなく、ずっと海に入ってイルカを見ることができました。
この日担当して下さったダイスケさん、ケビンさん、2人のイルカへの溢れる愛情と参加したお客さまを楽しませることへのプロ意識の高さに感動しました。

イルカツアーはたくさんありますが、アロハコナツアーが絶対おすすめです。

Before participating, I had some concerns…
- Would the restrooms be cramped and dirty?
- Would it be uncomfortable on the boat?

There were no problems at all!
The restrooms were about the size of those in a one-room apartment in Tokyo, and there were two of them, making them very easy to use.
The boat was spacious, and the distance between guests was just right.

About 30 minutes after departure, we had our first cruising and breakfast!
The sea was beautiful, and we went snorkeling in a spot where the depth was about 12 to 15 meters.
It was my first time snorkeling in a place where I couldn't touch the bottom, so I was a bit nervous.
For breakfast, there was a small buffet with bread, omelet, and yogurt loaded with fruits. The fruits were so delicious that I had seconds.

After staying there for about 40 minutes, we moved to the second snorkeling point for more snorkeling and lunch.
We even encountered sea turtles!!
For lunch, we had hamburgers, and we could choose our own toppings. It was incredibly delicious, and I was thrilled.

On the way back, we cruised under a completely clear blue sky and arrived on time.

I want to go again!

参加する前に心配だった点…
・トイレは狭くて汚くないか？
・船の上は窮屈じゃないか？

全然問題なかったです！
トイレは東京の1ルームアパートのトイレくらいの広さのものが2箇所に設置されていてとても使いやすかったです。
船の上も広く、他のお客さんとの距離も適度でした。

出発してから30分位いどうして最初のクルージング＆朝食！
海がきれいで底までが12～15mくらいのところでシュノーケリングをしました。
足が届かないところでのシュノーケリングは初めてだったのでドキドキしました。
朝ごはんはパン、卵焼き、フルーツたっぷりのヨーグルトなど、小さなビュッフェ形式でした。フルーツが美味しくておかわりしちゃいました。

そこで40分位滞在してから2個めのシュノーケリングポイントに移動して、シュノーケリング＆昼食
ウミガメにも出会えました！！
お昼のハンバーグ、トッピングを自分で選べました。すごく美味しくて感激しました。

帰りは雲ひとつない快晴の空の下をクルージング、定刻通り到着しました。

また行きたいです。

It was my first experience, but the explanations and assistance were thorough, and I had a great time. However, I had some trouble understanding the directions to the meeting point since we gathered on-site.

初めての体験でしたが、丁寧に説明やアシストをしてくたさり楽しい時間を過ごせました。
ただ、現地集合で行ったのですが、集合場所の案内がよくわからなかったのが少し困りました。

We participated in a snorkeling tour with our 5-year-old child. We often sign up for snorkeling tours when traveling, but this was our first time on a large boat, as we usually take speedboats.

Since the meeting point was local, we needed to park our rental car at the tour company's parking lot, but we were a bit confused about the location, so be careful with that. (It takes just under 50 minutes from Waikoloa.)

In this tour, we were the only Japanese participants, and the rest were Westerners, but they spoke in quite clear English, so we could get the gist of things from the atmosphere. Right after departure, there was a breakfast buffet, and soft drinks were available for free if you asked at the bar counter; our child enjoyed drinking juice. The waves were calm, so there was no spilling of drinks, and the stability was definitely different.

The snorkeling spot was quite deep (about 10 meters?), but the water was very clear, allowing us to see the bottom. While we weren't surrounded by a large number of tropical fish like at the Great Barrier Reef, we did encounter some colorful fish, which was enjoyable. The boat also had a slide and a diving board, but we didn't challenge ourselves with those... (The Westerners were diving in a lot, though!)

For lunch, we had handmade hamburgers. We could choose our own patties, buns, and vegetables to assemble our burgers. True to American style, the patties were very good and delicious, and drinks were always available, making for a comfortable and relaxing experience.

If you have small children, many snorkeling tours on the Big Island have age restrictions, often requiring participants to be 12 years or older, but this one was fine. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any dolphins, but it was a very enjoyable memory!

5歳の子供を連れてシュノーケルツアーに参加。よく旅行先ではシュノーケルツアーを申し込んでますが、今までスピードボートばかりで、今回のような大型船は初めてでした。
現地集合のため、レンタカーを催行会社の駐車場に停める必要があるのですが場所がよくわからず戸惑ってしまいましたので、かなり注意です。(ワイコロアからだと50分弱かかります)

このツアーで日本人は私たちのみで残りは欧米人しかいませんでしたが、かなりクリアな英語で話してくれるので雰囲気で内容は察せそうです。出航後すぐに朝食のビュッフェがあり、ソフトドリンクはバーカウンターの方に頼めばフリーで出してくれますし、子供はジュースを好んで飲んでいました。波も穏やかだったせいかドリンクが零れるような揺れもなく、安定感はやはり違いますね。

シュノーケルスポットは水深は深い(10m弱くらいかな？)ですがかなり海の透明度が高く、底が見えます。グレートバリアリーフのような大量の熱帯魚に囲まれることはありませんが、カラフルな魚には割と出会えるので楽しめるかと。
船にはスライダーや飛び込み台もありますが、さすがにこちらは挑戦せず…(欧米人の方はめっちゃ飛び込んでました笑)
昼食は今はハンドメイドのハンバーガーです。パティやバンズ、野菜など、自分で取って組み合わせて食べるスタイルです。さすがはアメリカ、パティの肉感がとても良く美味しく頂けましたし、常時飲み物は頂けるので、快適に寛いで過ごすことが出来ました。


小さいお子さん連れだとハワイ島のシュノーケルツアーは12歳から等の年齢制限があるものも多く参加出来ないこともありますが、こちらは大丈夫です。
私たちはイルカには残念ながら会えませんでしたが、とても楽しい思い出となりました！

I think it took about 40 minutes from departure to see the dolphins. The day before, it took an hour and a half, so we were able to see the dolphins really quickly.

According to the guide, there were a lot of dolphins today—maybe around 200? They kept coming one after another, which was surprising!

Once we got into the water, we could hear the dolphins' sounds very clearly.

出港してからイルカに会えるまで約40分ぐらいだったと思います。前日は1時間半かかったとの事だったのですごく早くイルカに会えました。

ガイドさん曰く今日はすごい沢山のイルカがいるよ〜と、200頭とかいたのかな⁇次から次へとイルカがやって来てビックリ！

海に入るとイルカの鳴き声がすごく聴こえてました。

最高に素敵な体験をありがとうござます。

I stayed at a hotel in Waikoloa and booked a morning flight. It takes about two hours by car to Hilo, and it was a mistake to stop by the Tex Drive-In along the way, as the road to Hilo was completely blocked due to construction!!! There was a high possibility I wouldn't make it for the 9:30 check-in, and when I called the contact number, I struggled a lot because they only spoke English... Fortunately, the third staff member I spoke to could speak a little Japanese, and I barely made it with a 30-minute delay. At the airport, there was also a staff member who assisted me in Japanese. After the briefing, just when I was ready to go, the flight for that day was canceled due to bad weather... Oh no... I was wondering what to do when another staff member who spoke Japanese came and helped me book a flight for the next day. I was really grateful!!!

The next day, I had an afternoon flight. After departing from Waikoloa, the weather started to deteriorate again, and I thought it might be canceled today too... but surprisingly, the flight was okay! It was a small helicopter with four people, including the pilot. I boarded with a bit of nervousness, and in no time, we were up in the air!!! The wind was stronger than I imagined, and I was desperately trying to hold onto my headset as it felt like it would fly away. The strong wind was also hitting my face, which was quite painful.

Although I was exhausted, when we reached the crater, I was overwhelmed by the sheer power of it. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any lava, but we circled slowly around the crater several times, capturing some impressive images.

So, I recommend this experience, but here are some tips for those who will be going:
- If you're coming from Waikoloa, I strongly recommend crossing via Daniel K. Inouye Hwy without any detours.
- If you're bringing a smartphone or video camera, a strap to hang around your neck is essential. The wind is too strong, and it could get blown away.
- It gets quite cold up there, so bring a hoodie or fleece.
- Flip-flops will be too cold, so please wear sneakers or something similar.
- If you have long hair, it's better to tie it up to avoid it hitting your face. I was in the back seat, and the wind coming from the back to the front was so strong that it hit my face and eyes, making it really painful to the point of tears. At one point, I had to put on my hoodie and hold my head down.

ワイコロアのホテルに宿泊し、午前中のフライトを予約しました。ヒロまで車でだいたい２時間として、途中テックドライブインに寄り道したのが間違いで、ヒロに入る道が道路工事でぜんぜん進まない！！！９時３０分のチェックインには間に合わない可能性大ということで、連絡先に電話するも英語のみの対応で大苦戦。。。３人目に日本語が少し話せるスタッフが対応してくれて、なんとか３０分の遅刻でギリギリセーフ。空港でも日本語で対応してくれたスタッフが待っていてくました。講習も終わって、いよいよと思っていたら、天候不良のためその日のフライトは中止・・・トホホ・・・どうしようかと思っていたらまたしても日本語対応のスタッフが来てくれて、翌日のフライトを予約してくれました。本当に助かりました！！！
そして、翌日は午後のフライト。ワイコロアを出発してから、天候がまたも崩れ始め、今日もダメかも・・・と思っていのですが、なんとフライトOK！
パイロットも含め４人乗りのちっちゃなヘリでした。やや緊張しつつ乗り込むとあっと言う間に上空へ！！！
想像以上に風が強くて、ヘットセッドが風で飛んでしまいそうで必死に抑えていました。それと強風で髪の毛が顔にガンガン当たって痛いのなんの。。
ヘロヘロになりながらでしたが、火口の上空に来た時は、あまりの迫力に圧倒されました。残念ながら溶岩は見えなかったのですが、火口の周りを何度もゆっくりと旋回して、大迫力の画像が撮れました。
ということで、お勧めなのですが、これから行かれる方にアドバイス
・ワイコロアから行かれる方は、寄り道せずに、Daniel k.lnouye Hwyで横断していくことを強くお勧めします。
・スマホやビデオを持って行かれるかたは、首から下げるストラップは必須。
　風が強すぎて持って行かれれます。
・上空は相当寒いです。パーカーやフリース持って行きましょう。
・ビーサンでは寒いのでスニーカーなどでお願いします。
・髪が長い方は縛った方が良いです。とにかく顔に当たらないように。
私は後ろの席だったのですが、とにかく、後ろから前に来る風がすごくて、顔や目に当たって本当に涙が出るほど痛かったです。途中でパーカー被って頭を抑えていたくらいですから。

The cocktails were delicious, and the lady who made them was cute, so I ended up drinking a bit too much. The food was also tasty, and I enjoyed the dessert as well! The meat they served was tender, and the poke was delicious. The red bread was a bit on the sweet side, but it was fluffy. The pudding and tapioca desserts might be a bit too sweet for those who aren't fond of sweet flavors, but the papaya was delicious.

I watched the hula show feeling a bit tipsy, and the fire dance was incredibly powerful; it was the best show I've seen so far! I'm very satisfied.

カクテルが美味しくて、作ってくれたお姉さんも可愛くて、ついつい飲み過ぎました。
食事も美味しくて、デザートまで堪能しました！取り分けてくれるお肉は柔らかいし、ポキも美味しかったです。赤いパンはちょっと甘めでしたが、フワフワ。デザートのプリンやタピオカは甘いのが苦手な人にはキツいかもしれませんが、パパイヤは美味しかった。
ほろ酔い気分で観たフラショーですが、ファイアーダンスは大迫力で、今までに観たショーの中では最高でした！
大満足です

I participated in dolphin snorkeling for the first time on the Big Island of Hawaii. I thought it would be a diving boat, but it turned out to be a Zodiac. The captain and the navigator were humorous and taught us a lot. It seemed that other boats were also searching for dolphins, but most of them couldn't find any, and the main Spinner Dolphins were elusive. However, we did spot the endangered Hawaiian monk seal along the way! After that, we zoomed around in the Zodiac, holding on tight, and discovered a pod of bottlenose dolphins! Unlike the Spinner Dolphins, they don't approach humans, so when we got close, they would dive away. Thanks to the captain's determination, we were able to see about six of them up close, which was fantastic!!!

However, preparing and challenging myself multiple times was tough for a guy over 50.

初めてハワイ島でイルカシュノーケリングへ参加しました。
ダイビングの時に載る船かな～と思っていたらゾディアックということでした。とにかく船長にナビゲーターの方がユーモラスで色々と教えてくれました。今回は他の船もイルカを探していたようですがほとんどの船がイルカに会えずメインのSpinner Dolphinは見つからず、途中絶滅危惧種のハワイアンモンクシールを発見！その後もゾディアックでガンガン飛ばして落ちないようにつかまっているうちにバンドウイルカの親子の群れを発見！でも、Spinner Dolphinと違って人間に寄ってこないため近づくと潜ってしまいます。そこを船長の根性で無事6頭ほど間近で見ることができてよかった！！！

でも、何度も準備してチャレンジは50過ぎの親父にはきつかった～～。

Our Kayak and Snorkel tour was unbelievable! We saw spinner dolphins up close while we kayaked in a beautiful bay! They came up quite close to our kayak...we loved it soooo much! We then went over to the snorkel area near the Captain Cook memorial site. The reef is healthy and the colourful fish are everywhere! Our guide was Jay who was easy going and very pleasant and welcoming! I highly recommend this tour! I will for sure be back in the future!

I previously participated in the same tour and enjoyed it, so I joined again with a friend. After the rain, the water level in the river at Waipi'o Valley had increased, and I was a bit worried when crossing the river on horseback, but the guide carefully checked for safe spots and led us cautiously, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any anxiety. It was a pity that the restroom at the meeting point was a portable toilet and not very clean. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

以前、同ツアーに参加してよかったので、再度、友人と参加しました。雨が降ったあとで、ワイピオ渓谷下の川の水量が増えていて、馬に乗って川を横切るとき少し心配でしたが、ちゃんと安全な場所を調べて慎重にガイドしていただき、不安なく、楽しめました。集合場所のトイレが移動簡易トイレであまりきれいでなかったのは残念でした。それ以外は大満足です。

The weather was great, and I was lucky to meet a lot of dolphins! Since the waves were strong, I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're worried about seasickness. I took some and was totally fine. It seems that the timing of encounters depends on luck, so it’s best to schedule with some extra time.

天候、イルカさんの気分に恵まれ、たくさんのイルカさんに会えました！波が強かったので、船酔いや波酔いが心配な場合は酔い止めを飲むことをお勧めします。自分は酔い止めを飲んで全然大丈夫でした。遭遇のタイミングは運によるらしいので、時間に余裕を持ってスケジューリングしといたほうが良さそうと思います。

Awana, our guide was absolutely wondetful. He was so courteous, professional and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I think we best part besides the scenery, was the Hawaii Botanical Garden. It wasn’t user friendly, due to some health conditions, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and could have spent a lot more time there. Awana got us back to the airport to catch our flight in record time, after a long day.

I was the only Japanese person, but the staff took photos for me, and other guests took photos as well, which was fun.

I was often asked how I found this tour.

There were slides, and they had floaties and other equipment ready, which made me feel very secure. It seems you can also drink alcohol if you pay extra.
For breakfast, there were bread, muffins, fruits, and scrambled eggs? For lunch, there were hamburgers and pasta.

The taste was okay.

You can have a great time even alone.

日本人はわたしだけでしたが、スタッフの人が写真を撮ってくれたり、お客さんが写真を撮ってくれたりして楽しかった。

やたら、どうやってこのツアーを見つけたの？みたいなことを聞かれてた。

滑り台があったり、浮き輪などもしっかり準備されていて、とても安心できました。お金を払えばお酒も飲めるようです。
朝食はパン、マフィン、フルーツ、卵焼き？、飲み物、お昼はハンバーガーとパスタ。

味はまぁまぁかな？

1人でも十分楽しめます。

I was so thrilled to encounter the dolphins during my first snorkeling experience. It was a mystical and incredibly beautiful experience that I can't put into words. Please be sure to try it out. Thank you, Daisuke, for your guidance. I think we were a bit of a handful, but we had a great time. I had a very good experience there. Everyone, please participate. 初めてのシュノーケリングで、めっちゃイルカちゃん達に、出逢えて感激です。神秘的で、言葉にできないほど、美しい経験が出来ました。是非、体感して下さい。インストラクターの大輔君ありがとうございました。。。私達夫婦足手まといやったと思うけど、すごい楽しませて頂きました。I had a very good experience there. 皆さん是非参加して下さい。ハワイ島に行ったら、また参加したいです。大輔君、関空大丈夫よん。ノルウェーで楽しんで来て下さい。

We traveled by car from the reception area to the horseback riding location, but the road was quite bumpy and long, and near the canyon, the slope was steep and a bit scary. The horseback riding was very enjoyable, but I felt there wasn't much of a canyon experience. However, I was glad to have the opportunity to ride while feeling the nature of Hawaii.

受付場所から乗馬する場所まで車で移動するのですが、それがかなりガタガタの道で長く、渓谷近くでは坂が激しく少し怖かったです。
乗馬はとても楽しかったですが、渓谷でしている感はあまりなかったなぁと思います。ですがハワイの自然を感じながら乗馬する体験ができてよかったです。

The Japanese female guide was very cheerful and pleasant. I felt reassured because I wanted someone who could speak Japanese to guide us, and her bright demeanor helped ease my tension.

I was a bit anxious about entering the sea at night, but the guide explained everything properly and went in first, which allowed me to follow and jump in as well. Once I jumped in, there was nothing to be afraid of, and I was able to grab onto a float right away.

In the end, five manta rays came to us, which was breathtaking. I don't think there are many opportunities to get so close to wild creatures.

It was an amazing experience. I believe this is one activity I would recommend to everyone.

ガイドの日本人女性がとても明るくて感じが良かったです。
アクティビティーは出来れば日本語の出来る方にガイドしてもらいたかったので安心出来ましたし、明るく接して下さったので、緊張もほぐれました。

夜の海に入るのは少し不安があったのですが、ガイドの女性がキチンと説明もしてくれて、先に入ってくれたので、私も続いてドボンと飛び込む事が出来ました。飛び込んでしまえば、怖い事はなく、すぐに浮きにつかまることが出来ました。

マンタは結局、5枚も来てくれて圧巻でした。
あんなに野生の生き物との距離が近くなるなんてなかなか無いと思います。

凄い体験でした。
これは皆さんに勧めたいアクティビティの一つだと思いました。
