I participated in this for my honeymoon. It was my first time trying kayaking and snorkeling, but I was able to do it after a brief lecture before departure. I'm not good with water to the point where I can't even put my face in, but I swam in the sea for the first time while snorkeling. I saw many tropical fish. The fruit during the break was also incredibly delicious.

新婚旅行で参加しました。カヤック、シュノーケルとも初挑戦でしたが、出発前の簡単なレクチャーで乗れました。
顔もつけられないほど水が苦手ですが、シュノーケルで初めて海で泳ぐことがました。たくさんの熱帯魚が見られましたよ。休憩のフルーツも最高においしかったです。

I participated with three female friends who are also golf buddies on November 30.

Since it was the first experience for me and another friend, we were a bit nervous, but we were able to enjoy it without any worries.

On this day, we were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins come into the bay, so we could snorkel there without moving and saw the dolphins over and over again.

The water was incredibly clear, and the dolphins swam in groups, diving deep and then coming up to the surface, jumping right in front of us, which was so exciting. Even though we couldn't catch up, we couldn't help but chase after them in excitement. I even saw a baby dolphin swimming while nursing from its mother. I can't count how many times I ended up swallowing seawater from excitement... (laughs) Even now, just remembering it brings back those emotions.

That said, we were very grateful to our guide, Mr. Nawata. While we were in the water, he constantly made sure we were safe as we swam around excitedly, sometimes diving to take pictures of the dolphins, taking pictures of us, and pulling us in the direction where the dolphins were likely to come...

The beautiful gradient of the sea color at the beach that Mr. Nawata recommended on the way back was also breathtaking.

There are many similar tours, but we all agreed that we were glad to have participated in Mr. Nawata's tour!

　ゴルフ友達女３人組で１１月３０日に参加しました。　

私ともう一人は初体験だったので、少し緊張してたのですが不安なく楽しむことができました。

この日はラッキーなことに、入江にイルカの群れが来てたので、移動することなく　ずっとそこで　シュノーケリングでき　何度も何度も　イルカたちを見ました。　

海の中はすごい透明で、群れで泳いでるイルカたちが　深く潜っていき、それから海面に上がってきて、目の前でジャンプしたり、と　大興奮でした。　　追いつくはずもないのに、思わず夢中で追いかけてしまいます。
赤ちゃんイルカがお母さんのおっぱいを飲みながら泳いでいるのも見ました。
興奮して叫んで何度海水を飲んだことか・・（笑）
今思い出しても　あの感動が甦ります。

それにしても　ガイドの縄田さんにはお世話になりました。
海に入ってる時は、上記のように興奮して泳ぎ回ってる私達に絶えず気をつけてくれ、時には　潜ってイルカの写真をとったり、私達の写真をとってくれたり、イルカの来そうな方向に引っ張って行ってくれたり・・
帰りに連れて行ってくれた、縄田さんお薦めのビーチのグラデーションの美しい海の色も感動ものでした。

同じようなツアーはたくさんありますが、この縄田さんのツアーに参加してよかった！と全員一致しました。

Crew was friendly, snorkeling was great! The pictures on the site ring true to the experience had.

This was the most fun we had in Hawaii! We snorkeled and jumped off a 20' plus cliff! While snorkeling, about 100 spinner dolphins decided to join us and got close enough some people could touch them! Absolutely awesome!

I was surprised to find dolphins as soon as we went out to sea. Once we entered the water, I could hear the dolphins' calls, and I was deeply moved to see them swimming close by and in groups. On the way back, a mother and baby dolphin swam right next to our boat, allowing us to see wild dolphins up close.

Additionally, both the captain of the boat and the local Japanese guide were very kind, and we had a wonderful time.

　海に出てすぐにイルカを見つけることが出来てびっくりしました。海に入るとイルカの鳴き声が聞こえ、自分の近くを泳いで行ったり、群れで泳いでいる姿を間近で見れたり、とっても感動しました。帰りも船のすぐ横を親子のイルカが一緒に泳いでいたりと本当にすぐ近くに野生のイルカを見ることが出来ます。
　また船のキャプテンも現地日本人ガイドの方もとっても親切で、楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。

This was an amazing Luau.. WOW! Can't say enough about it. The food was amazing, the entertainment, the entire night. We opted for preferred seating so we were escorted right in, greeted with a fresh flower lei and had our picture taken. That was just the start of a truly fantastic evening. It was held near the ocean at the King Kamehameha Hotel within view of the Ahuena Heiau. The Ahu'ena Heiau is the religious temple that served Kamehameha the Great when he returned to the Big Island in 1812. The show after dinner was spectacular, hard to describe with words.

I took medication in advance, but I ended up getting seasick and feeding the fish a lot. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the dolphins played with us, and I was satisfied to swim with them. Those who are used to the sea were diving and swimming together. For those who are not good at swimming, it might be a little scary at first, but there were two staff members supporting the six participants, so it was okay.

事前に薬を飲んだのですが、船酔いしてお魚にたくさんエサをあげてしまいました。。しかし、期待以上にイルカが一緒に遊んでくれて、イルカと泳げて満足です。海に慣れている方は潜って一緒に泳いでいました。泳ぎが得意でない方は、はじめ少し怖いかもしれませんが、参加者６人に対してスタッフが２名でサポートしてくれるので大丈夫でした。

I was truly moved to see a manta ray up close like that! It came so close that it felt like it was about to touch my body, making it an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much.

あんなに近くでマンタを見れるなんて本当に感動しました！今にも身体に触りそうな所まできてくれて忘れられない体験になりました。ありがとうございました。

This cruise was totally awesome! We were able to snorkel at three different locations and the marine life was great, saw turtles and lots of fish. On the way back we saw a huge pod of spinner dolphins. My husband and I had a fantastic time, will definitely do this again.

I can't speak English, so the reconfirmation phone call was a hassle, but the activities were very enjoyable!

I got to glide at high speed and saw both dolphins and whales!

I participated in this for the first time in Hawaii.

There are various snorkeling tours, and I was really torn, but choosing the raft boat this time was a great decision!

We set off with about 10 guests and 2 guides!! Right from the start, the speed and excitement were incredible!!! We raced over the waves, and it was so refreshing☆

At first, I was a bit worried it might be scary, but once I got on, it was surprisingly stable. Even though the driver maneuvered quite roughly (which was part of the fun), it was more manageable than I expected. The boat tilting during turns and sudden stops was really enjoyable!

The other participants were travelers from Europe and Mexico, and they were all mature couples. I was a bit surprised to see people who looked to be in their 50s and 60s wearing swimsuits and joining such an exciting tour. It was really impressive how active they were! I think there's no need to worry about it being "scary" at all!

The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay was truly beautiful, with clear water and lots of different kinds of fish! We had plenty of time, and the fruit we had during the break was delicious☆ On the way to and from the snorkeling spot, we encountered a pod of dolphins swimming right next to and below us, and we also visited lava caves… it was a tour filled with fun, and it went by in a flash!!

I highly recommend this activity for both first-timers to Hawaii and repeat visitors!!!! I definitely want to do it again in Hawaii☆★

初めてのハワイで参加しました。

シュノーケルツアーはいろいろあって、すごく迷いましたが、今回のラフトボートは大正解でした！

10名程度の客と2名のガイドで出発！！…直後からすごいスピード＆迫力で大興奮！！！波の上を跳ねるように駆け抜けていって、とっても爽快でした☆

最初はちょっと怖いかなぁという心配もあったのですが、乗ってみたら意外な安定感で、運転手がけっこう荒い操縦をしても（楽しませるための演出ですが）思いのほか大丈夫でした。曲がるときや急ブレーキでボートが傾くのも、すごく楽しかった！

一緒に参加したのはヨーロッパやメキシコからの旅行者で、みんな熟年の夫婦の方ばかりでした。50~60歳以上と思われる方々が、水着を着てこんなエキサイティングなツアーに参加するなんて、本当にアクティブだなぁとちょっとビックリ。
それぐらいのツアーなので、「怖いかも」という心配はいらないと思います！

ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリングは、本当に水がキレイでいろんな種類の魚がたくさん見れました！時間もたっぷりあって、休憩で食べたフルーツが美味しかった☆
シュノーケリングスポットへの往復の間には、イルカの群れがよってきてすぐ横や下を泳いだり、溶岩洞窟を見に行ったり…楽しみいっぱいで、あっという間の満足ツアーでした！！

ハワイが初めてという方にも、リピーターの方にも、超オススメのアクティビティです！！！！
私も是非またハワイで、もう一回行きたい☆★

It was difficult to catch up because the dolphins swam so fast, but when I stopped, they would come towards me instead... I could also hear the dolphins making their "quee-quee" sounds.

I was so focused on swimming with the dolphins that I completely forgot I was in the ocean, and I panicked a bit when it was time to get in. However, thanks to the wetsuit, I was able to float, so it wasn't a problem even though I'm not a very strong swimmer.

I discovered a stingray, and I was able to go snorkeling there too!

The boat ride to the spot was fast, and that alone was fun. The wind felt great~♪

I had a valuable experience! Thank you, Nawata-san!

泳ぎが速くて、追いつこうと泳ぐのが大変でしたが、
止まっていると、逆に向こうから向かってきてくれたり･･･
「キューキュー」とイルカの鳴声も聞くことができました。

イルカと泳げる事に頭がいっぱいで、「海」で泳ぐ事が頭になく、いざ海に入るという時慌ててしまいました。でもウェットスーツのおかげで浮いていられるので、泳ぎがそれ程得意でない私でも問題なかったです。

エイを発見して、そこでもシュノーヶリングすることもできました！

ポイントに行くまでのボートもスピードが出て、それだけでも楽しかったです。風が気持ち良かった~♪

貴重な経験が出来ました！縄田さん、お世話になりました！

First, my mother, who was given a shell lei at the reception, looked very happy. In addition to the pleasure of dining outdoors while feeling the setting sun, we waited for the food to be prepared while observing the traditional Hawaiian oven, the imu, up close. We also experienced Hawaiian food culture, such as poi, and watched hula and Tahitian dances unfold right in front of us. It was all a first experience for my mother, and her eyes were sparkling with excitement. Even though she doesn't understand English, it seemed like she had a wonderful time, and I was really glad to see her enjoying it.

まず受付でシェルレイをかけてもらった母は大変嬉しそうにしていました。
野外で沈み行く夕日を感じながら食事をする気持ちよさに加え、ハワイ古来のオーブン「イム」を間近で見学しながら出来あがりを待ち、ポイなどのハワイの食文化にも触れ、目の前で繰り広げられるフラやタヒチアンの踊り、全てが初体験の母は目がキラキラしていました。英語が分からない母でもとても楽しんでくれたようで、その様子をそばでみれたのが嬉しかったです。

The photos on the website were exactly as they appeared. The seabed was densely covered with coral reefs, and there were plenty of fish. I visited other snorkeling points as well, but I felt that this spot had exceptionally high visibility, possibly due to the lack of sand being stirred up. The depth was not too deep, so I felt safe swimming. There was also a lot of time to swim freely. About an hour before lunch and several minutes after lunch. I was very satisfied. Above all, the BBQ for lunch was delicious! The meal was a hamburger buffet, where you could enjoy freshly grilled beef patties, fresh sliced tomatoes, onions, pickles, and more, all piled into buns as you liked. It was so delicious that I ended up eating two. The staff were very kind, and during the explanation of safety precautions, they provided a written document in Japanese, which made it easy to understand without any confusion. Thank you to all the staff. I highly recommend this to those who haven't participated yet.

海底にはサンゴ礁がびっしり。魚もたくさん。
他のシュノーケルポイントにも行きましたが、ここのポイントは、砂の巻き上げがないせいか、透明度が非常に高いと感じました。深さも深くなく安心して泳ぐことが出来ました。
自由に泳ぐことが出来る時間も非常に多かったです。
昼食前に１時間程度、昼食後に数十分。大満足です。
何よりも、昼食のBBQの美味しい事！！
内容は、ハンバーガーブッフェで、
その場で網焼きされたビーフパティや、新鮮なスライストマト、オニオン、ピクルス等を好きなだけバンズに挟んで食すスタイル。あまりに美味しくて２つ食べてしまいました。
スタッフの方も大変優しくて、注意事項の説明の際には、
日本語の書面を渡して下さり、戸惑うことなく理解出来ました。
スタッフのみなさんありがとうございました。
そして、まだ参加されていない方には、オススメです。

We enjoyed the trip and tour very much. Leo was very nice and very informing about all the sites.

I took the doors off flight and I was totally amazed.
This is the best experience you could even imagine.
Ranks equal to or even better than riding my Harley through the Rocky mountains in Colorado.
Of coarse you can tell that I highly recommend this flight and especially with the doors off.
The pilot on my flight (Dillon) (hope I spelled your name right) was skilled and competent and ready to answer all questions with knowledge and completness.

When I came to the Big Island, I had decided to go for a dolphin swim, so I was really looking forward to it!

First, I was super excited to encounter a manta ray! Seeing it swim slowly underwater and looking at it head-on was truly impressive!

When the captain said, "Dolphins!" and pointed in that direction, dolphins jumped! I waited eagerly for the boat to stop… and then we went into the water! As I swam towards the sound of the dolphins, the underwater scene became so joyful when I spotted them! Everyone was swimming happily! I was lucky to see a mother dolphin with her baby too!

Even friends who were new to dolphin swimming enjoyed it a lot, thanks to our guide, Mr. Nawata, who taught us everything. Thank you!!

After getting off the boat, they took us to a beautiful white sand beach and recommended a delicious lunch spot. It was truly a fun experience.

If I come back to the Big Island, I definitely want to join this tour again.

ハワイ島に来たらドルフィンスイムと決めていたので、
すっごく楽しみにしてました~♪

まず最初マンタに出会えて大興奮でした~！！
海の中ゆっくり泳ぐ姿と、真正面から見るマンタは
大迫力っ！

船長が「ドルフィーン！」と言う方向を見ると
イルカがジャンプ~！
ワクワクしながらボートが停泊するのを待ち…
海の中へ！
イルカの声が聞こえてくる方向へ泳ぎ、
イルカが見えてくると海の中がハッピーに~♪
皆、嬉しそうに泳いでるんですよ~♪
子連れのイルカもいてラッキーでした！

ドルフィンスイムが初めてのお友達も
ガイドの縄田さんが教えてくれたので、
とっても楽しめたそうです
ありがとうございます！！

ボートを降りた後も、
すっごい素敵な白砂ビーチに連れて行ってくれたり
美味しいランチの店を教えてくれたり
本当に楽しかったです。

At first, I was scared because the manta rays were so close, but I got used to it!

I thought something was bumping into my face, and when I looked closely, it was a huge amount of plankton?! It was amazing!

Even though there were so many, the two manta rays quickly devoured them all!

The view of the sunset in front of the office is beautiful! ☆

マンタが近くてはじめは怖かったけど、慣れました！

顔にプツプツとなにかあたるなぁ~って思ってよく見たら大量のプランクトン？！？！すごかった~

大量にいたのに２匹のマンタがあっという間に食べ尽くしてしまいました~

事務所の前は、サンセットがきれいですよ~☆

On October 18, my husband and I participated in the tour.

Mr. Nawata picked us up at the hotel, and before boarding the boat, we fitted our fins and wet suits in case it got cold, and then we set sail!!

The boat felt more like a banana boat, allowing us to enjoy it safely while straddling the edge. I usually get seasick, but it was so much fun like a banana boat that I didn't feel sick at all. Before we set off, the captain, who resembled George Clooney and spoke Japanese well, gave us ginger candy for motion sickness. It was delicious.

About 15 minutes after departure, we quickly spotted a pod of dolphins!! We went ahead to where the dolphins were likely to be, and each of us was given a floatation stick. Mr. Nawata and two local young men joined us in the water, which made us feel safe.

We were lucky that day, as we encountered countless dolphins during all four entries!! My husband was satisfied swimming alongside the pod of dolphins. When I stayed still, a group of dolphins swam straight towards me, and I almost bumped into one. I could also hear the dolphins' squeaks!! There were baby dolphins too, and they were very cute.

Finally, we were taken to a spot where mantas were present, and we were fortunate to see a large one that day!!

We heard from other boats that there were whales, so we waited at that point for about 15 minutes, but they didn't come up to the surface. It seems that whales usually don't arrive in Hawaii until October, but this year, some have come early. They say that in January, you can see them almost every day, so I plan to try again in January!!

Since we were the only Japanese couple on this tour, Mr. Nawata guided us closely, and it was a very satisfying experience. On the way back, he also recommended restaurants and beaches that weren't listed in the guidebook. We actually visited as many as we could within our time☆ All of them were wonderful!!

Thanks to this experience, we made great memories. Thank you very much. I plan to participate again when I come back to the Big Island!!

１０月１８日に夫婦で参加しました。

縄田さんにホテルまで迎えに来て頂き、ボートに乗る前に足ヒレと寒かった場合のウェットスーツのサイズ合わせをし、いざ出港！！

船はボートといった感じで縁にまたがって安全なバナナボートのように楽しめます。私は船酔いしやすいのですが、バナナボートのようで楽しくて、全く酔いませんでした。一応、出港前にジョージクルーニー似の日本語が上手な船長さんが酔い止めのジンジャーキャンディーをくれます。美味しかったです。

出港１５分ぐらいで、早くもイルカの群れを発見！！イルカが来るだろうところに先回りして、ボートの縁から海へ☆浮くための棒も一人１本くれますし、縄田さんと現地の若い男の子２人、合計三人が一緒に海に入ってくれるので安心です。

この日は運が良く、４回のエントリーすべて、数えきれないほどのイルカさんに会うことができました！！夫はイルカの群れと並んで泳いで満足そうでした。私は動かずにいたらイルカの群れがまっすぐ向かってきて、イルカと顔があたりそうでした。キューキューというイルカの鳴き声も聞くことができました！！子供イルカもいて、とても可愛らしかったです。

最後にマンタがいるところにも連れて行って頂き、マンタも運良くこの日は１匹大きなのがいました！！

クジラがいると他の船から連絡があったそうで、そのポイントで１５分ぐらい待機しましたが、海面に上がってきませんでした。クジラは例年１０月にはまだハワイには来ていないそうで、今年は来るのが早く数匹もう来てるそうです。１月には毎日のように見れるらしいので、次回は１月にトライしようと思います！！

今回は日本人が私たち夫婦だけだったこともあり、付きっきりで縄田さんにガイドして頂き、大満足のツアーでした。
また帰りの車ではレストランや、ビーチなどガイドブックには載っていないお勧めのところを教えて下さいました。実際に時間の許す限り行って来ました☆どこもすばらしく良かったです！！

おかげ様でとても良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。またハワイ島に来るときに参加しようと思います！！

WOW is all I can say. Took the kids and the wife to this tour, and we are from a landlocked state, so all kinds of any sea critters are new to us...but nothing, and I mean nothing could have beat getting an eyeful of the mantas gliding all around so close up. The kids went wild for it, and even my wife wasn't scared a bit. Overall it was truly a great experience, and one I would tell others to for sure try out. Families will love it and I even saw some single people just out enjoying the trip as well. Its really for everyone

I had a great time for three and a half hours at Mitchilli. I thought it was just a sea kayaking activity, but it included a lava rock bath, encounters with dolphins, and even a dive from a 7-meter cliff, which made it incredibly fun. The two staff members were warm and attentive, taking care of us and even sending us photos afterward. I had so much fun for this price! I want to do it again next time I come! Highly recommended! 🎶

３時間半、ミッチッリ楽しめました。
ただのシーカヤックのアクティビティかと思いきや、溶岩の岩盤浴あり、イルカとの遭遇あり、そして７メートルの崖からのダイブありで思いっきり楽しめました。スタッフのお二人も温かい対応で、細やかに世話してもらい、写真まで送ってくれるというアフターケアまでバッチリ。このお値段でこれでもかというくらい楽しめました。次に来たらまたやりたい！超おすすめ♬

I participated on a weekday in early October before the triathlon competition. We were the only Japanese people there.

Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins, but the boat was spacious, and the restrooms were clean, so I was satisfied with the facilities. There were slides and diving boards, and the slide was particularly enjoyable even for adults.

The meals and drinks were well-prepared, and I had no trouble at all. The staff was friendly and provided snorkeling sets and wetsuits for rent.

We had plenty of time to enjoy snorkeling. However, the coral was located at a depth of about 5 to 10 meters, and I could only see the fish up close after diving deep. Even just floating on the surface, the water's clarity was excellent, allowing us to see the seabed well, but the fish were quite far away, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

I think the boat was too large to anchor in very shallow areas. If you want to see the fish up close, diving might have been a better option.

１０月初旬でトライアスロン大会前の平日に参加しました。日本人は我々だけでした。
イルカは残念ながら見れませんでしたが、船がゆったりしていて、トイレもきれいで設備は満足でした。スライダーや飛び込み台があって、特にスライダーが大人でも楽しめました。
食事や飲み物もきちんとそろっていて全く困りませんでしたし、スタッフはフレンドリーでシュノーケルセットやウェットスーツ等も貸してくれます。
シュノーケルもたっぷり楽しむ時間がありました。ただ、水深５ｍ~１０ｍ位のところに珊瑚があって、深く潜ってやっと魚が近くに見える程度。水面でぷかぷか浮いて見るだけでも、海の透明度は抜群なので海底まで良く見えはしましたが、魚はとても遠くにいて、ちょっと不完全燃焼でした。
船が大きめなのであまり浅いところには停められないのだと思います。魚を近くで見たければダイビングがよかったかもしれません。

I participated in the afternoon plan. The sea was truly beautiful, and I lost track of time enjoying it. I really wanted to visit Kealakekua Bay, but it was a bit difficult to get to, so this was just right. We stayed at a hotel in Kailua-Kona, and it was relatively convenient to get to the meeting point at the Fair Wind office. We took a shuttle bus along Alii Drive and got off at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, from where we could walk to the office.

本当にきれいな海で、時間を忘れて楽しみました。
ケアラケクア湾はぜひ行ってみたかったのですが、少し行きにくい場所にあったのでちょうどよかったです。
私たちはカイルアコナのホテルに滞在していたのですが、集合場所のフェアウィンド号の事務所までは、アリィドライブ沿いのシャトルバスに乗ってシェラトンケアイホウベイビーチ＆スパで降り、そこから徒歩で行けましたので、比較的便利でした。

I participated with a female friend in September. It was my first time on the Big Island, and I wanted to do more than just relax on the hotel beach, so I was drawn in by the phrase about swimming with dolphins and signed up.

The weather was fantastic on the day of the tour, and we were picked up at the hotel and driven to the harbor. The harbor was small, but there were no procedures to go through, just a quick fitting for the fin size and we were off!!

The Sea Wolf, a large rubber boat, allowed us to straddle the sides, and being close to the water while feeling the wind was really pleasant!!

Then we met the dolphins. I was so excited watching the dolphins jumping in the water that I couldn't wait to get in. The dolphins were really close, almost touchable (though it seemed like we weren't supposed to touch them). It truly felt like swimming with dolphins (^ - ^)/

After that, we dove a few times while chasing a pod of dolphins, and we even got to see a manta ray! Swimming slowly with the manta was so soothing.

On the way back, we stopped at a beach recommended by our guide, Mr. Nawata, and it was such a beautiful beach. We took lots of pictures. I wished we could have stayed a bit longer to relax on that beach.

It was a very satisfying tour, having encountered both dolphins and manta rays. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Big Island and looking for ocean activities!☆

9月に女友達と参加しました。
ハワイ島は初めてだったのですが、ホテルのビーチだけではなくシュノーケリングもしたいなあと思い、イルカと一緒に泳げるというフレーズにつられて申し込みました。

当日はお天気もとってもよく、ホテルでピックアップして頂き、ドライブしながら港へ。港はこじんまりしてましたが、何の手続きもいらずフィンのサイズだけあわせてしゅっぱーつ！！

大きいゴムボートのようなシーウルフ号はサイドにまたがって乗ることができ、海面に近く、風もうけながらとっても気持ち良かったです！！

そしてイルカとご対面。海上をはねるイルカをみて興奮冷めやらぬまま海へ。本当にイルカは近くてさわれそうでした。(さわってはだめみたいでしたが)なるほど~確かにイルカと一緒に泳ぐって感じでしたよ(^-^)/

その後何回かイルカの群れを追いかけながらダイブして、なんとマンタもみれちゃいました！ゆっくり泳ぐマンタに癒やされました~。

帰りにはガイドの縄田さんおすすめのビーチによって頂いたのですが、ほんっとにきれいなビーチでした。写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。もう少し滞在できたら、そのビーチでのんびりしたかったな~

イルカにもマンタにも出会えて大満足なツアーでした。ハワイ島にいかれて海でアクティビティをという方にはオススメです☆

In late September, when I traveled with my girlfriend, we participated in a snorkeling tour for two, as just lounging by the hotel pool and beach was a bit boring. Since we were staying in Kona, we gathered at the designated spot by rental car. The parking was limited and somewhat confusing, so we parked on the nearby street, but there seemed to be enough parking space available.

There were about 20 to 30 tour participants, mostly foreigners, with only two groups of Japanese, including us. However, throughout the tour, the staff was very friendly, and their explanations in English were clear and spoken slowly, which alleviated any anxiety or stress.

Once the cruise started, we traveled for about 30 minutes to the first snorkeling spot, where we enjoyed snorkeling and sunbathing for about an hour. During that time, a simple breakfast with bread was prepared, but the taste was not great...

We stayed at the second snorkeling spot for about an hour as well. They mentioned that if we were lucky, we might encounter sea turtles, but unfortunately, we didn't see any during our time. Lunch was then provided, and the hamburgers grilled on the boat were incredibly delicious and satisfying in portion size.

After that, we returned to the original port, which took about 30 minutes, and the tour concluded. Overall, it was exactly as I imagined a tour would be, and I think it’s a recommendable tour if you want to see beautiful fish while snorkeling. On the other hand, there was quite a bit of travel involved, so you can't really relax leisurely on the boat.

9月下旬に彼女と旅行に行った際に、ホテルのプール、ビーチだけではつまらないので、きれいな海でシュノーケリングをやる為に2名で参加しました。
コナに宿泊だったため、レンタカーで指定の場所に集合。駐車場は限りがあり、分かりにくかったため、近くの路上に駐車でしたが、十分な駐車スペースはある印象でした。
ツアー客は全部で20~30名ほどで、ほとんどが外国人で日本人は我々を含めて2組ほどです。でも、全体を通じてスタッフは非常に親切で、説明の英語も分かりやすく、ゆっくり話してくれるので、不安、ストレスはありません。
クルーズが開始すると、1つ目のポイントへ30分ほど移動し、1時間ほどシュノーケリング・日光浴を楽しみます。その間、パンなどの簡単な朝食が準備されますが、味はいまいち・・・。
2つ目のポイントでも1時間ほど留まり、シュノーケリングを楽しみました。運がよければウミガメに出会えるとのことでしたが、残念ながら我々の時は見つかりませんでした。そこで、ランチが用意されます。船上で焼いてくれるハンバーガーは最高においしく、量も満足のいくものでした。
その後、また30分ほどかけて元の港に戻って終了。
良くも悪くも想像通りツアーという印象で、シュノーケリングできれいな魚をみたいなどの希望があればおすすめできるツアーだと思います。一方で、移動が結構多いため、船上でゆっくりくつろぐとかはできません。

This was my second time kayaking, but it was my first experience with sea kayaking. The weather was great, and the view of Hawaii Island from the sea was different from what you see from land. Paddling through the vast, deep blue ocean using only our own strength was a bit challenging for the two of us girls, but feeling the waves and wind made it a wonderful experience, reminding us that we are part of nature.

I communicated with the staff in English. However, they were very kind and spoke slowly with simple words or even in broken Japanese for my friend who doesn't speak English. While a typical tour aimed at Japanese tourists, which prioritizes safety and has everything planned out, might be nice, if you want to fully embrace the adventure on Hawaii Island, I absolutely recommend this!

If you plan to drive there yourself, I recommend checking the location in detail on Google Maps. The parking lot is a bit off the road and can be quite hard to find.

I definitely want to participate in more adventure-filled tours like this again!

カヤックは今回2回目でしたが、シーカヤックは初めての体験でした。
天気も良く、海からのハワイ島は陸から見るのとは違う景色でした。
真っ青などこまでも広い海を、船などではなく自分たちの力だけで漕いで行くのは女子二人ではちょっと大変でしたが、波や風を感じながら行くのは人間も自然の一部であるということを感じられて素晴らしい経験でした。
スタッフと私は英語での会話でした。でも英語ができない友人にはゆっくり簡単な単語や、カタコトでも日本語で話してくれますし、とっても親切に対応して頂きました。
よくある日本人向けのツアーのように全て決められて安全面など重視のツアーもいいかも知れませんが、せっかくのハワイ島。とことんアドベンチャーしてみたいなら絶対にオススメですっ！

ご自身で車を運転して行くなら、場所をgoogle mapなどで詳細まで調べて行くことをお勧めします。駐車場は道からちょっと入ったところなのですが、結構見つけにくいです。

ぜひまたこんなアドベンチャーいっぱいのツアーに参加してみたいです！

We participated in a snorkeling cruise as a couple. Since we were staying at the Royal Kona Resort, we drove to the meeting point with a rental car. It took about 15 minutes to arrive. The meeting point is located very close to the Sheraton Hotel. There is limited parking, so I recommend arriving early. There were about 40 participants, and aside from us, there were only two other Japanese couples. The boat was large, so we didn't feel cramped and could relax comfortably. I was worried because no one spoke Japanese, but as mentioned in other reviews, we were able to enjoy ourselves without any problems. We snorkeled at two points for just over an hour each. There were slightly fewer fish, but the water clarity was excellent, and it felt very refreshing. After the second snorkeling session, we had lunch. The freshly grilled cheeseburgers on the boat were very delicious. The meal was served buffet-style, where you could help yourself to the food. It seemed that alcohol was also available for purchase. After that, we leisurely cruised back to the harbor. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any dolphins, but we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves very much. The staff were all smiling and friendly, so it was a tour where we could participate with peace of mind, even without understanding the language.

夫婦でシュノーケルクルーズに参加しました。ロイヤルコナリゾートに滞在していたので、集合場所へはレンタカーで行きました。約１５分くらいで到着しました。ホテルシェラトンのすぐ近くに集合場所はあります。駐車場が少ないので早めに行くことをオススメします。参加者は約４０名ほどで、日本人は私たち夫婦以外に２組だけでした。大きな船なので窮屈に感じることはなくゆったりできました。日本語がまったく通じないので不安でしたが、他のレビューにもあるように何の問題もなく楽しむことが出来ました。シュノーケルは２つのポイントで各１時間ちょっとすることが出来ます。若干魚は少なめでしたが、透明度がよくとても気持ちがよかったです。２回目のシュノーケル後に昼食を頂きました。船上でグリルしたできたてのチーズバーガーはとてもおいしかったです。食事はセルフで自分でお皿に盛り付けていくスタイルでした。アルコールの販売も行っているようでした。その後ゆっくりクルージングしながら港へ帰りました。残念ながらイルカに出会うことはできませんでしたが、とてものんびり楽しむことができました。スタッフの方は皆笑顔で親切だったので、言葉は解らなくても安心して参加できるツアーでした。

On September 17th, we participated as a family of three. First, we received a brief explanation on how to paddle a kayak, and then we quickly launched the kayaks into the sea, loaded with snorkeling gear and water, and set off. After practicing going straight and turning in the harbor for a bit, we headed out into the open ocean. It was quite refreshing to venture into the Pacific with such simple equipment.

Our son (first grader) was taken by the guide, while my wife and I shared one kayak. Although the two of us were paddling, the guide was definitely faster on his own, and it was a bit tiring for us as we used more unnecessary strength until we got used to it (laughs). However, we encountered dolphins along the way and took breaks when we visited caves, so we ended up kayaking a longer distance than we expected.

At the snorkeling point, there were many beautiful fish, and even the adults became quite absorbed in it. At the break point, we climbed onto the rocks and enjoyed some snacks and fruits.

There is a diving point on the rocks, but it's quite high, and I think it might be a bit scary even for men. I participated in a high-speed boat activity last year, but kayaking allows you to fully enjoy nature and is probably better for environmental conservation (laughs). If you haven't tried kayaking yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot. (It can be a bit tiring, but I think it's a moderate amount of exercise.)

9/17に親子3人で参加しました。最初にカヤックの漕ぎ方の説明を簡単にしてもらい、すぐにカヤックを海に入れ、シュノケール道具や水を積んで出発します。港で真っ直ぐ進んだり、曲がったりする練習をちょっとしてから大海原へ。あんなに簡単な装備で太平洋に飛び出すのはとても新鮮です。
息子（小1）はガイドの方に乗せてもらい、僕たち夫婦は2人で1つのカヤックに乗りました。大人2人で漕いでいましたが、やっぱりガイドの方1人の方が漕ぐのは早く、慣れないと余計な力を使う分ちょっと疲れます（笑）でも途中でイルカに遭遇したり、洞窟に行ったりしたときに休憩するので、思ったより長距離をカヤックで移動しました。
シュノーケリングポイントではとてもきれいな魚がたくさんいて大人もかなり夢中になってしまいました。また、休憩地点では岩場にあがり、スナックやフルーツを頂きました。
岩場には飛び込みするポイントがありますが、結構高く男性でもちょっと怖いんじゃないかと思います。
高速ボートのアクティビティに昨年参加しましたが、カヤックの方が自然を満喫でき、環境保護の為にも良いのではないでしょうか（笑）まだカヤックにチャレンジした事が無い方は一度お試しください。（ちょっと疲れますが、適度な運動量じゃないかと思います）

I participated in this tour on September 28th. My impression can be summed up in one word: "I'm really glad I joined!"

First, they picked us up at the hotel in the morning, and then it was off to the port! Thanks to the friendly captain and the little boys who assisted, we moved to several points where we could see dolphins, and then we dove in! Underwater, I could hear the cute sounds of the dolphins and found myself chasing after them in excitement. Unfortunately, the day we participated was a bit cloudy, so it was a little chilly, and we couldn't see the sparkling light in the water, but I was still very satisfied with how many dolphins we got to see.

On our way back to the port, we saw a large sea turtle swimming on the surface, and we even encountered a 4-meter-long tiger shark (of course, from the safety of the boat).

After that, although it wasn't included in the tour, our guide, Mr. Nawata, kindly took us to what he recommended as the most beautiful beach on the Big Island.

It was incredibly beautiful. During our trip, we visited beaches at hotels on the Big Island and also on Oahu, but none of the other beaches compared. It's a beach I truly want to visit again.

From the dolphin experience to the personality of our guide, both my husband and I were extremely satisfied with the tour. If we have the chance to go to the Big Island again, I would love for Mr. Nawata to guide us.

感想は、ただ一言「参加して本当によかった！」です。

まず、朝ホテルまでピックアップに来ていただき、その後港へGO！
気さくな船長や助手(～)の小さな男の子たちのお陰でイルカのいるポイントへ何度も移動してくれ、そしてダイブ！
海の中ではイルカのかわいい鳴き声がたくさん聞こえ、夢中でイルカを追いかけてしまいました。
残念ながら私たちが参加した日は曇りがちな日だったため、ちょっと寒く、また海の中も光のキラキラしたものは見れなかったのですが、それでもイルカをたくさん見ることができて大満足です。

帰港する際には海面を泳ぐ大きなウミガメをみたり、なんと、4メートルはあるタイガーシャークにまで出会うことができました。(もちろん、船の上から)

その後、ツアーには含まれていないのですが、ガイドの縄田さんのサービスで縄田さんお勧めのハワイ島一キレイなビーチに連れていってくれました。

めちゃくちゃキレイでした。
旅行中、ハワイ島のホテルのビーチやオアフでもビーチに行きましたが、他のビーチはキレイと思えなくなってしまうくらい。心から、もう一度行きたいビーチです。

イルカの体験から、ガイドさんの人柄まで、夫も私も本当に大満足のツアーでした。
またハワイ島に行くことがありましたら縄田さん（ガイドさん）に案内していただきたいです。

When the guide is different, the experience and impressions also change. I was able to truly feel that with a wonderful guide.

During this trip to Hawaii, which lasted eight nights, we signed up for many tours. Each had its own merits, but my husband and I often reflected, "We wish we could have asked Mr. Nawata (the guide for this tour) for all the tours."

He is truly knowledgeable about Hawaii and shares various stories with great enthusiasm. Additionally, he is very reliable; just by following Mr. Nawata in the water, we felt assured that we would definitely see dolphins! If we have the opportunity to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to ask Mr. Nawata for his guidance. (Mr. Nawata is knowledgeable not only about the sea but also about the land and mountains—he really knows everything!)

You can really see dolphins right in front of you. While we couldn't swim at the same speed as them, it seems that depending on the dolphins' condition and mood, it might be possible. I, who easily gets seasick, was able to enjoy myself without feeling nauseous. Thank you so much! I look forward to working with you again!!

ガイドが違うと、体験感想も変わってくる。
それを心底実感することができた素晴らしいガイドさんでした。

今回、８泊のハワイ旅行で、多くのツアーを申し込みました。
それぞれに良さはありましたが
主人ともども、しみじみと
「全部のツアーを縄田さん（このツアーのガイドさんです）にお願いしたかったね」
とよく話したものでした。

本当にハワイについて詳しく、熱意を持って色んなお話をして下さいます。
また、非常に頼りがいがあり、海の中で縄田さんの姿を追っていれば
かならずイルカに会える！と安心感がありました！

イルカは本当に目の前で見ることができます。
一緒に泳ぐ、というほどの速度で泳ぐ事は出来ませんでしたが
イルカの体調や気分によってはそれも可能なようです。
船酔いしやすい私も酔う事なく、楽しむ事ができました。
