I was able to learn about the magnificence of Kilauea Volcano and the volcanic island of Hawaii.
Also, seeing the waterfalls in the Waikoloa area from the sea was incredible!
We actually landed right under the waterfall, and experiencing its grandeur and the healing it brings was the best. My wife, who accompanied me, was the most moved!
Once we got home, she kept saying she wants to go again!

I participated on November 25, 2018.
Everything went according to schedule, and it was great to arrive at the hotel two hours early.
The guide provided explanations about the scenery along the way, creating a friendly atmosphere in the vehicle.
We were blessed with good weather, and the sunset was magnificent.
I was worried about altitude sickness, but I was able to enjoy the trip without any issues.
The stargazing just below the summit had perfect conditions, and I saw more stars than ever in my life. The explanations about constellations using the laser pointer were also accurate and fantastic!

Advance reservations are essential due to the popularity of the tour. The weather on the day is truly left to chance. On the day of participation, which was three days after the full moon, we were able to see an incredibly beautiful starry sky since the stargazing time was before the moon rose! They also provide explanations of constellations with a laser pointer (the impressive kind). It's like a real planetarium. You can also take photos (available for free download later), so there's more to enjoy after the tour. The sunset is also perfect! The sunset over the sea of clouds is a must-see. The summit of Mauna Kea is quite cold. They can lend you warm clothing, but I recommend bringing something like a sweatshirt that you can easily put on.

Our guide, Masa, was kind and very attentive! Generally, the guides are Japanese (though there may be some from other countries). It feels a bit awkward to give a tip, but since we are in Hawaii, I recommend giving a little something during the hotel transfer. Just for your reference.

The sunset and starry sky were, of course, wonderful, but the explanations from our guide Masa were easy to understand and very knowledgeable! It was informative to hear about the history and stars.

They provide winter clothing, lunch boxes, and drinks, so you can participate easily, which I highly recommend!

The best part is that you can download the photos taken by the guide with a DSLR for free! The pictures with the starry sky background are perfect.

The price might be high, but the experience was worth it.

I signed up for this tour because I wanted to see the lava and ocean entry from the sky, but unfortunately, I couldn't see them. Still, I was able to witness the crater and the areas where lava spread after the eruption, feeling the power of nature.

The tour takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to leisurely circle the island, allowing you to fully enjoy the shape of the island, its terrain, the greenery, and the blue sea. Among the highlights, the Kohala Coast, Waipi'o Valley, and Waimauna Valley were breathtaking and truly moving. I regretted not adding the landing option at the waterfall, as it would have been amazing to land in that valley. Next time I participate, I want to try landing as well.

Here are some tips for those who will be joining the tour soon:
1. There is only one Japanese pilot, so it's better to assume that you will have a foreign pilot even if you request one. (I also made a request and inquired beforehand, but all three helicopters that flew at the same time that day had foreign pilots.)
2. Passengers can ask the pilot questions during the flight, but if you don't speak English, you might feel stressed as you won't be able to ask about things you're curious about or don't understand in the explanations. It’s a good idea to be able to express your requests in English.
3. There is a note advising to wear black clothing for better photos, but I recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants. Skin color on your arms and legs can reflect on the window, making it difficult to take nice pictures.
4. You can purchase a USB data of the video from your helicopter for about $42 (credit card accepted). It includes the music that was playing in the helicopter, which changes according to the scenery, making it very effective. I highly recommend it as it allows you to keep beautiful footage of what you saw.

2．ヘリの中では乗客がパイロットに質問できますが、英語ができないと、気になったことや解説でわからないことなどを聞けないため、ストレスを感じるかもしれません。見たいもののリクエストなどは英語で言えるようにしておいた方が良いと思います。
3．綺麗に写真を撮るために黒い服を着ていくよう注意書きがありますが、長そで長ズボンにすることをお勧めします。腕や足の肌色が窓に映ってしまい綺麗に撮れません。
4．自身の乗ったヘリの中の様子や見た景色の動画USBデータを＄42程度で購入ができます（クレカ使用可）。ヘリ内でかかっていた音楽（見えている景色に合わせて音楽も変えられていて非常に効果的です）と共に自身が見た綺麗な映像が残せるので非常にお薦めです。

I participated because I wanted to see manta rays up close. The boat ride was fine, but while we were searching for the manta point, the boat was stopped and it was really rocky, causing more than half of the people to get seasick. I felt so nauseous that it was tough to get into the water.

I did see the manta rays, but the seasickness was so painful that it diminished the enjoyment...

Overall, great and once in a lifetime experience to see manta ray(s) up close. We also saw a reef shark and lots of schooling fish. Seaquest provides you with everything you need (wet suit, snorkel gear, etc.). You may leave your dry items on the boat (ie. valuables, phones). All you really need is a towel since it can get chilly after.

We saw one manta ray up close which was spectacular. The remainder of the snorkeling experience was a lot of waiting around and viewing other wildlife. Staff were kind and willing to help out with all our needs.

This was an experience of a lifetime. The guys and girls and SeaQuest we're so helpful and made the night so much fun. They even called as we got a little turned around on the way there. Everything from getting aboard the boat to dropping off afterwards and everything in between was really easy. When in the water we had lots of Manta Ray sightings. They are enormous beautiful creatures! The crew was very knowledgeable and their passion shows! We would definitely do this night snorkel again on our next trip.

Since I joined the tour in November, I was able to participate even though it had snowed the day before and the mountain gate was closed until just before the tour started. I was thrilled that the tour guide was the famous Big Jin. We joined from Kona and stopped at a scenic overlook on the way to Waikoloa to take some photos. On Saddle Road, we also had a little time to enjoy a spot where we could take pictures with the lava, in addition to Mauna Kea and the starry sky. I was worried about altitude sickness, but thanks to the professional guide's instructions and advice, everyone was fine. The tour itself had two vehicles, but Jin's proactive actions and experience meant we always arrived earlier than the other vehicle, allowing us more time and better timing for bathroom breaks. Although there were many clouds on the day, and it was disappointing not to see the sunset or the starry sky from the highest point, the tour itself was incredibly rich and provided a great experience.

11月に入ってからの参加でしたので当日もツアー開始時間ぎりぎり前まで前日に雪が降り山のゲートが封鎖されていたそうですが、参加することが出来ました。しかもツアーガイドが有名なビッグジンさんで感激しました。私達はコナからの参加でワイコロアまで行く途中Scenic Overlookと言う景色のいいポイントに停まって写真を撮ってくれました。サドルロードでも溶岩と写真の撮れるポイントで少し時間をくれてマウナケアや星空以外も少し楽しめました。高山病が不安でしたがプロのガイドの指示やアドバイスで全員かからなかったです。ツアー自体が2台の車だったのですがジンさんの早め早めの行動と経験で　もう1台の車より常に早く着き時間が多く取れたりトイレに行くタイミングなど気配りがとても良かったです。当日は雲が多く期待したサンセットが見れなかったり、星空ツアーが1番高い所で見れなかったのは残念でしたがツアー自体はものすごく濃く良い経験ができました。

We had a great time and seen so many sights! Our guide Brett had great knowledge and could answer all questions.
Because we had extra time we got to see the rainbow falls and got to go into a lava cave. Sadly the stargazing didn't happen due to clouds and rain.
Snacks, water and food were all plenty and good. Especially dinner at kilauea lodge was excellent, be it a bit rushed.
After the recent eruptions there was no lava activity, but we can only imagine how much more beautiful the sites would be with active lava flows.

I participated in the morning session.
If you have a rental car with navigation, you can easily find the reception area.
I attended in November, but it got hot while riding, so water is essential.
If you can't get supplies at a supermarket, I recommend buying water at the shop at the reception area, which also sells it.
(I also recommend using the restroom here.)
You can borrow a helmet, but you can also bring your own hat.

Before riding, the English guide explained the basic movements.
Since it was in English, there were parts I didn't understand, but they explained the important points using some Japanese words as well.
During the ride, there were guides at the front and back of the line to lead the horses, so the horses rarely strayed off the course.
(I almost went off course because I miscommunicated with my horse...)
There were times when the horse didn't respond to the "stop" signal, but the guide stopped us when it was dangerous, so it was fine.

It was fun to take pictures while riding in the great outdoors and to hear explanations about the plants from the guide.
It was quite amusing to see the horse walking through the water.
(I recommend wearing pants that you don't mind getting dirty.)

It was my first time riding a horse, but I was able to do it safely, making it a very good experience.

If you understand English, you would grasp the explanations about handling the horse better, which would reduce any anxiety about riding, and you would also understand the explanations about the plants during the ride more clearly, making it even more interesting.
For those who are anxious, the Japanese plan might be a better option.

"止まれ"のサインを馬がなかなか聞いてくれないこともありましたが、危ないときはガイドさんが止めてくれたので大丈夫でした。

大自然の中、馬に乗りながら写真を撮ることができたり、ガイドさんから生えている植物の説明を聞けたりして楽しかったです。
水の中をじゃぶじゃぶ馬が歩いていくのもなかなか面白いです。
(汚れてもいいズボンで行くといいですよ)

馬に乗るのは初めてでしたが、無事に乗ることができたのでとてもいい経験になりました。

英語が分かったら、馬の扱いの説明がよく分かるので乗馬への不安がもっと少なくなったと思いますし、乗馬中の植物の説明などもよく分かってもっと面白いだろうなと思います。
不安な方は日本語のプランのほうがいいかもしれません。

On the day of check-in at the hotel, I watched a show. I had a standard seat, but since I lined up right after the reception started, there were only about 15 people ahead of me, so I was guided to a spot near the front of the standard seating, and I could see the show well. However, I think the back of the standard seating is still a sufficient distance to see everything.

The meal was in buffet style, with options like meat dishes and poke. Alcohol was also available. The show lasted about two hours and was performed intermittently. After a long flight, I felt it was a bit too long for me, but the climax with the fire show was stunning and woke me up.

For those who find it troublesome and stressful to arrange meals on the first day of arrival, I think it would be a good idea to book this plan where you can eat to your heart's content while watching the show.

ショーは約2時間に渡って断続的に行われ、長時間フライト後でとても疲れていた私にとっては少し長すぎかなと思いましたが、クライマックスの火のショーは圧巻だったので目が覚めました。

到着初日に食事の手配をするのが面倒だし不安だなという方は、ショーを見ながらお腹いっぱい食べられるこのプランを予約しておくのもありだと思います。

11/10 我們的司機Chris 準時來接我們，在去接第二組客人時，他為我們講解沿路火山與海灘的景色，他是在這出生有少部分夏威夷原住民的血統，能遇到當地長大的居民做為我們的導遊，真是幸運！他從開始到行程結束始終掛著笑容為我們服務!
第一站是Kona 咖啡園: 在這裡我們繞了一圈咖啡園,可惜的是因為是周末,只有兩個烘培機器運轉著,途中還看見了Lava Tube,就是熔岩管,它是熔岩洞的一種,從這開始了對火山的認識。在這裡有各式免費咖啡的試飲,我試了Kona coffee medium roast 與有夏威夷豆口味所混合夏威夷咖啡,各有不同的風味!Chris 為我們在桌上準備了午餐,是亞洲式午餐有日本紫薯,魚片,雞肉與白飯,配上Kona的各式果汁! 是亞洲人喜歡的口味!
第二站到了黑沙灘看海龜:Chris 雖然不能保證是否看到海龜,一下車往海灘的方向,但我們非常期待,拉著兒子的小手往沙灘前進,踩在黑沙灘上是很特別的經驗,黑沙灘的沙是冷卻的岩漿經過風力與海水沖刷而成的,沙的顆粒很小摸起來很舒服,不過一會兒就看見一隻烏龜在沙灘上休息著,大家太过興奮靠近時,被在沙灘上的救生員喊ˇ著說”請給烏龜足夠的空間"! 在這地方有標示牌請大家給他們至少30ft 的空間,不可餵食也不可觸摸!在這片黑沙灘上是開著荷花的池塘,和諧地與海邊的景色共存著,非常美麗的景色.雖然只看見一隻海龜,還是非常值得.
第三站: 一連串的火山探險之旅,首先來到火山國家公園,Chris 分享著他在前幾個夜間所拍的照片,火紅的岩漿從洞口發出,非常驚人的景色,目前能見到的是火山停止噴發後不斷地發出的煙,這時候已經來到熱帶雨林區,天氣涼爽許多,再加上小雨落下,景色非常的特別,從海邊到山上,溫度驟降,但是貼心的Chris為大家準備了外套與雨衣,不需要擔心沒有帶外套,唯一的建議是要穿包腳的鞋子!
再來去看了crater lookout, steam vests,sea Arch 還有Chains of Craters Road.分別是火山口,蒸氣口,海邊拱門,最後在僅存的舊道路上欣賞熔岩經過的歷史痕跡! 如此接近因火山活動而產生變化的自然奇景,是來到大島時一定要參加的行程! 當我們站在舊有的道路上轉身往後一看在高處則是近期因火山活動留下的黑色的痕跡,在這Chris 找出各式不一樣型態的殘留物,仔細講解著,真的是更認識了大島!
第四站:在最後一站觀星之前,我們到了Lava Cafe享用晚餐,當魚補獲的魚排餐,牛仔骨分別配上土豆尼與白飯,兒子吃的是炒粉,免費的飲料,大家都吃得很飽! 估計是全車的亞洲客人而特別預備的餐點,接著到了Mauna Kea State Park 觀星,
一下車就已經能清楚看見滿天的星斗,透過Chris 架設的高倍望遠鏡看到了火星,邱比特星跟月球.同行有人看見了流星!
我真心推薦大家參加這個行程,不論你是一個人,兩人或親子行,都能享受從行程中帶來的樂趣與各樣的驚喜!

From the start of this tour we knew it was going to be great. The staff are friendly & engaging. Admittedly it was only our family of 4, which was really nice. The whole afternoon was filled with tuna jumping around us, checking out caves, snorkelling in what I can only describe as one of the best snorkel locations I have ever been to, finishing with dolphins swimming with us on our way back! If I was here for longer I would go again.

Must do in Big Island!!! Amazing sunset and stargazing experience. Never experienced anyth like this before.

Tour guides were really experienced, friendly and we felt absolutely safe during the entire tour. If I were ever in Big Island, would definitely book the same tour.

The view of the volcano was amazing. The nature could be so destructive and beautifull

Our guide was there for us am answer all ours questions.

The diner included was in a nice restaurant and the playe were very good.

I recommend this avtivities and don't worry about the volcano. It's a very nice tour

The meeting place is at the souvenir shop, which also sells drinks, snacks, and ice cream. You can also use the clean restrooms. However, the helmet smelled, so I wore it over my hat. It was no problem at all not speaking English, and there was plenty of time for horseback riding. I was very satisfied as I could see the waterfall.

集合場所はお土産屋さんで飲み物や軽食、アイスクリームなども売っています。綺麗なお手洗いも使えます。
ただヘルメットが臭かったので帽子の上にかぶりました。
英語が話せなくても全く問題なく、乗馬の時間もたっぷりあり、滝が見れたり大変満足でした。

The whole experience was amazing! We arrived late due to road closures, our guide Kevin was so patient & kind. We set out in hopes of finding dolphins, you never know if they’ll show up. Boy did they! We were the only people out there so we had them all to our selves. The dolphins swam & played with us for an hour. Stunning & thrilling, an experience we’ll cherish forever!!! Thank you so much Kevin for sharing your passion!
My suggestion, bring your underwater camera!

I was really glad to have Mr. Mochizuki as my guide. Initially, my goal was to see Kilauea from above, but the views from the mountainside in the latter half were even more amazing than I had imagined. Entering the valley and looking down at the waterfall flowing into the sea from directly above is a sight you can only see from a helicopter. At first, I wondered why it was cheaper from Hilo, but after inquiring, I was convinced by the response that the experience was longer and richer in content, so I went ahead and booked it. In the end, I never felt that the price was too high. If you're hesitating, I think you can feel assured about that. As Mr. Mochizuki mentioned, it was a wonderful experience that I would recommend everyone to try at least once.

望月さんにガイドしてもらえたのが本当に良かったです。
当初はキラウェアを上から見たいと思ったのが目的でしたが、後半の山側が想像以上に素晴らしかったです。
谷の中に入って行ったり、海に流れ落ちる滝を真上から見下ろすのはヘリからでしか見ることのない景色ですね。
はじめはなんでヒロからだと安いのになーと思い、問い合わせをしたところ、内容的にも時間も長く、濃いものになってるとの回答で納得して申し込みました。結果、お値段以上で高いと思うことは無かったです。迷っているならそこは安心して良いと思います。望月さんもおっしゃっていましたが、一度は体験していただきたい素晴らしい体験となりました。

I love dolphin swimming and have been to Mikurajima in Japan and the Bahamas in the past.

During my first visit to the Big Island, I participated in tours with your company and another local American company led by a captain with a small group. If I have the chance to come again, I would like to request Aloha Kona Tours. (^^)

The tour guide provided clear instructions, and the captain was attentive to observing the dolphins.

I believe both first-time dolphin swimmers and experienced ones can feel at ease.

The dolphins I encountered this time were often resting or moving around, so I hope to have the chance to communicate joyfully with them again someday. ♬

The sight of the wild spinner dolphins jumping was breathtaking.

It was a tour that participated as the main dish on the Big Island, and it was really great! When I think of Hawaii, I usually have a strong image of the ocean, but after participating in this tour, I feel like I've learned about another side of Hawaii. We were able to gaze down at various astronomical facilities from above and witness a magnificent sunset amidst quite a chilly wind. It was also wonderful to enjoy the celestial show with explanations. I believe that such tours can be subject to the luck of the weather, and I thought that my husband and I might not be able to observe the stars since clouds were moving in from Hilo. However, thanks to our guide's extensive experience, the early movements proved to be effective. The guide had studied geography and volcanoes at university and also had a keen interest in plants, making the information shared on the bus very enjoyable to listen to. It seems that they were well-prepared for altitude sickness, as none of the participants felt unwell. I hope to join another tour at Masashi's Nature School with such a wonderful guide in the future.

私のなかでハワイというと海のイメージが強かったのですがこのツアーに参加してもうひとつのハワイを教えていただいたように思います。各国の天文施設を眼下に仰ぎ見てかなりの寒風の中、雄大な日の入りをみることができました。また解説付きで天体ショーが楽しめたのもとてもよかったです。おそらくこうしたツアーは天候による運不運があるとおもうのですが今回もヒロのほうから雲がうごいてきていたそうで私も主人も星の観測は無理かなと思っておりました。しかしガイドの方の豊富な経験のおかげで早め早めの移動が功を奏しました。ガイドの方は大学で地理や火山を勉強されたようですし、植物へのご関心もおありだったのでバスの中でのご案内も大変たのしく聴くことができました。高山病への対処法も万全であった
のか参加メンバーどなたも具合悪くなることもありませんでした。またの機会にはこうした素晴らしいガイドさんのいるマサシのネイチャースクールで参加できればと思います。
