The sea was very rough due to the front passing the day before. Despite that, we set sail. I was moved to see a manta ray, but I spent a long time in the water and my body got completely cold. When I got back on the boat, I was so cold that my stomach hurt, and my hands trembled for a while. It seems that the temperature in Hawaii in February is low as well. There was a Japanese guide, but I had to ask for information about the restroom and changing area; they didn't provide it on their own.

その中での出港。マンタは見れて感動しましたが、海の中にいる時間も長くとにかく体が冷え切りました。
船に上がった時には、体が冷えすぎてお腹が痛く、手の震えもしばらく止まりませんでした。
ハワイ島も2月は気温が低いようです。
日本語ガイドもいましたがトイレの場所や更衣場所の案内はこちらから聞かないと教えてもらえませんでした。

I visited Kealakekua Bay, known as the Path of the Gods. The hotel I stayed at was the Sheraton, which was conveniently located just a short walk from the meeting point. Since it's the end point for the trolley, I think it's easy to get there even if you don't rent a car or stay at the Sheraton.

The guide spoke English and was very knowledgeable about history, answering any questions we had. Additionally, to protect the coral, we were allowed to use environmentally friendly sunscreen for free. The water was truly beautiful, and I was able to see many cute fish! It was February, but I enjoyed myself without a rash guard. It was a bit chilly, so I couldn't stay in the water the whole time... haha. After snorkeling, they provided fresh fruit, snacks, and drinks on the boat! It was really great!

神々の道と言われるケアラケクア湾に行きました。止まっていたホテルがシェラトンだったので歩いてすぐの集合場所で便利が良かったです。トロリーの終点なのでレンタカーしてない&シェラトン宿泊者じゃなくても行きやすいと思います。
ガイドは英語ですが、歴史の知識も豊富で聞けばなんでも答えてくれます。また珊瑚保護のため、環境に優しい日焼け止めも無料で使用させてもらえます。本当に水がキレイな場所なのでたくさんのかわいい魚たちを見ることができました！2月でしたが、ラッシュガードなしで楽しめました。少し寒くてフルタイムで水の中に入っていられなかったですが…笑　シュノーケルの後、船の上でフレッシュフルーツとスナック、飲み物を用意してくれますよ！とても良かったです！

This was my first time participating. In the end, I didn't get to see any manta rays... However, this company offers a free tour next time if you don't see manta rays. I participated in this tour on the Big Island, but since the company also has a branch on Oahu, I signed up for a snorkeling tour to see turtles there, which was really free. They provided transportation to and from the hotel, which was very accommodating. The entire crew was energetic and kept the participants entertained from start to finish. During snorkeling, I was able to observe turtles right in front of me, explore the seabed while free diving, and play on a waterslide and trampoline on the water—such a satisfying experience! They also provided warm drinks, which was helpful. The pineapple was super delicious. Chanel from the Oahu branch, it became a wonderful memory of Hawaii! Thank you. And to the crew on the Big Island, you were all handsome with your Kansai dialect! Thank you.

今回はハワイ島での参加でしたがオアフ島にも会社があるので後日オアフ島でカメを見に行くシュノーケリングツアーへ参加申し込みして本当に無料。ホテルまで送迎してくれて至れり尽くせり。クルー全員元気が良くて参加者を最初から最後まで楽しませてくれました。シュノーケリングでは目の前でカメを観察できたり素潜りで海底を散策！？出来たり海の上での滑り台やトランポリンで遊んだり大満足！！温かい飲み物も出してくれて助かりました。パイナップル超美味しかったです。オアフ支社のシャネルちゃん、良きハワイの思い出になりました！ありがとう

I have visited Oahu, Hawaii several times with friends. However, I wanted to see the volcano, so I participated alone for the first time. The flight I booked was canceled, but I was recommended another course and joined that instead. Due to the weather, I couldn't achieve my original goal, but I enjoyed the experience of riding in a helicopter and traveling alone. I was able to participate with peace of mind thanks to the prompt response I received. Thank you very much.

ハワイ、オアフ島は何度か友人と訪れています。
ただ、火山が見たくて一人初めて別行動で参加させて戴きました。申し込んだ便は中止になり別のコースをお勧めして戴き参加しました。天候の為当初の目的は果たせませんでしたが。ヘリコプターに乗れて一人旅を経験できて楽しかったです。敏速な対応をして頂き安心して参加出来ました。ありがとうございました。

I participated with my wife and daughter. I wasn't expecting much, but seeing the manta ray swim right in front of us was breathtaking. My wife and daughter said they were also moved by it. I recommended it to acquaintances, and they said they were impressed as well.

妻と娘の三人で参加しました。それほど期待していなかったのですが、マンタが目の前まで来て泳ぐ姿は圧巻でした。妻と娘も感動したと言ってました。知人にもお勧めしましたが、やはり感動したとのことでした。

The Catamaran ride was very smooth and comfortable. The crew was wonderful and very informative. Once in the water we had seen a large variety of fish and rays. I would highly recommend this adventure.

The waves were high since the day before, so I couldn't meet the manta rays. It's a natural occurrence, so there's nothing I can do about it, but I would like to try again next time.

After the New Year, my wife and I participated in a tour to see manta rays on the Big Island. We set sail from the harbor in Kona in the evening and watched the sunset over the ocean near the airport before entering the water for snorkeling. The light illuminated the dark underwater world, creating a very magical atmosphere as we eagerly waited for the manta rays, but unfortunately, none appeared. Even though we were wearing wetsuits, it was cold at night when we got out, and our fleece jackets were very helpful.

We were informed that if we didn't see any manta rays, we could try again for free, so we later joined a dolphin watching tour on Oahu, where we were able to see dolphins while snorkeling and swim with sea turtles, which was great. Additionally, we were surprised to see two humpback whales breaching multiple times! Next time, I definitely want to see manta rays.

正月明けに、ハワイ島でマンタを見たくて家内と参加しました。
夕方コナのハーバーを出航し、空港の沖で海に沈む夕日を見てからシュノーケリングで海に入りました。暗い水中をライトが照らしてとても幻想的で、ワクワクしながらマンタを待ったのですが、結局一匹も現れませんでした。ウエットスーツを着ていても、上がると夜は寒くてフリースの防寒着が役に立ちました。
一匹も見れなかった時は無料で再チャレンジできるとの事で、私達は後日オアフ島のイルカを見るツアーに参加し、シュノーケリングで!イルカを見たり海亀と泳いだりできたので良かったです。さらにザトウクジラ2匹のブリーチングを何度も見れてビックリ!
次回は是非マンタを見たいですね。

This tour is very good for aged people and Baby. Everyone can enjoy.

Two years ago, I participated in a tour swimming with dolphins on the Big Island of Hawaii and was moved by the many dolphins I saw. This time, I'm challenging myself with manta rays. There were four Japanese people, including myself (I participated alone), and about 15 foreigners in the mixed tour. The boat moves at an incredible speed. First, we enjoyed the sunset.

After that, we entered the sea where the mantas come. Then, we just floated and relaxed while waiting to encounter the mantas. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we encountered two small mantas. We then moved to another location and were able to see three large mantas as well. When I saw them, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!"

Since the boat moves quite fast and you just float and wait in the water, I think it's safer to take motion sickness medication even if you're not prone to seasickness.

I asked a couple of questions via email, such as, "Can I participate alone?" and "I'm joining another tour in the morning; will I make it in time for the pickup?" The responses were smooth and good, which is why I gave this rating.

2年前のハワイ島でイルカと泳ぐツアーに参加して、たくさんのイルカを見て感動〜。今回はマンタに挑戦です。日本人は私を入れて4名（私は一人で参加しました）外国の方が15名ぐらいの混在ツアーでした。ボートは凄いスピードで進みます。先ずは夕日を堪能。
その後マンタが来る海へ入ります。
あとはマンタに出会うまでひたすら脱力して浮かんでる状態。マンタを待つこと15分ぐらいで2枚の小さなマンタに遭遇。その後場所を移動して、大きなマンタも3枚見ることができました。見た時は思わず凄ーいと言ってしまいました。
船はかなりのスピードで進むのと、海中ではただひたすら浮いて待つので、酔いやすくない人でも酔い止めはのんでおいたほうが安心だと思います。

「一人で参加できますか？」「午前中に別のツアーに参加していますが、ピックアップ時間は間に合いますか？」など２,３度メールで質問しましたが、対応もスムーズで良かったので、この評価にしました。

It was really great. Actually, I went dolphin watching on Oahu, but I didn't see any dolphins at that time. However, before going to see the mantas on this tour, I was able to see them from the boat. Plus, we also saw whales! The boat was going really fast, and it was a lot of fun. I took motion sickness medication, so I was fine with the boat ride. The mantas were incredibly large, and I was super excited to see them up close. My husband brought an underwater camera, so we were able to take great photos. I thought it would be cold in December, so I prepared thoroughly, but it wasn't as cold as I expected. It was so much fun!

凄く良かったです。実はオアフ島でドルフィンウォッチングに行ったのですが、その時イルカは見れなかったのに、このツアーでマンタを見に行く前に船の上から見る事ができました。しかもクジラも見れました!船もビュンビュン高速で楽しかったです。酔い止めを飲んで行ったので船酔いも大丈夫でした。マンタはすっごく大きくて、大接近で大興奮しました。旦那君が水中カメラを持参したので、バッチリ写真に収める事が出来ました。12月なので寒いと思い万全の対策で行きましたが、思った程は寒くなかったです。凄く楽しかったです。

Snorkeling in the crystal-clear, calm waters of Kealakekua Bay was enjoyable for the kids as well. We were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins, and they were playing chase with our boat. It was adorable!

The second deck of the boat offers fantastic views, but it sways quite a bit more up there. During the one-hour ride to the snorkeling spot, even passengers who usually don’t get seasick were feeling pretty worn out.

Lunch was a simple barbecue on board. It had an American-style flavor, but if you embrace that, it can be enjoyable. However, I was surprised that the soft drinks were only carbonated and that what was labeled as tropical fruit juice was actually a tropical cocktail (an alcoholic drink).

This tour has a predominantly English-speaking, mostly white crowd, so if you're feeling a bit weary of tours filled with only Japanese people and want to experience being abroad, I recommend it. Additionally, the snorkeling spot has calm waves, making it a good option for first-time snorkelers and families with children aged preschool and up.

透明度抜群の穏やかなケアラケクア湾でシュノーケリングは子供も楽しめました。我々は運良くイルカの群れに遭遇し、我々が乗っている船とイルカの集団が追いかけっこしていました。可愛かった！
船の2階デッキは見晴らし抜群ですが、船は2階の方が相当揺れます。シュノーケリング場所までの片道１時間で、普段は全く船酔いしない同乗者さえグッタリする程でした。
昼食は船内で行われた簡単なバーベキュー。アメリカンな大味ですが、それも含め楽しんでしまえばこっちのもの。ただ、表記されていた事から想像していたのと実際には違ったのはソフトドリンクは炭酸だけである事、トロピカルフルーツジュースではなくトロピカルカクテル(アルコールドリンク)だった事です。
英語オンリーの白人多めのツアーですから日本人ばかりのツアーにちょっと辟易して、海外に来たぞという気分を味わいたい方にはオススメです。
あと、シュノーケル場所は波が穏やかなのでシュノーケリング初体験者や幼稚園児以上の年齢のお子様がいらっしゃるご家族にもいいかもしれません。

Great experience all around. We arrived, check in process was super efficient and we got onto the boat and in the water on time. The crew was well coordinated and found the optimal spot for us to view some mantas.
We saw two total, one passing by several times and very closely (belly almost touching our light board).

Lovely time on a light board looking at Mantas. We saw three of these beautiful creatures and many other local fish. The underside of the ocean at night was amazing.

It is a bit chilly and the water can be choppy.
The mantas were not abundant or very close to us on the night we were out because of an anticipated swell the next day.

Great fun though and I will try again in the future.

Hawaii Island is much larger than I expected. There are many breathtaking views that can only be seen by helicopter. Waipi'o Valley was the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen in my life. It was an experience worth more than the price.

ワイピオ渓谷は、人生で一番美しい景色でした。

My wife and I participated together. It was a nice day with some waves, but both of us suffered from severe seasickness. While we were snorkeling in the water, it was fine, but once we got back on the boat, the seasickness returned, and we both struggled until we returned to port. That said, the crew's performance and the tour itself were completely fine. The low rating is simply due to our own physical condition. The meeting place was at the beautiful port in Kona, which was also convenient for sightseeing.

妻と二人で参加しました。天気の良い日で波も多少でしたが、自分と妻の両方とも酷い船酔いに苦しみました。シュノーケリングで海の中にいるときは良いのですが船に上がると船酔いが再発して帰港まで二人して苦しみました。とはいえクルーの皆様の働きぶりやツアーそのものは全く問題ないものです。評価が低いのは単純に自分達の体調の問題からの経験です。集合場所は観光にも便利なコナの港でとても綺麗でした。

When it comes to Hawaii, I've seen so many dolphin tours on TV that I thought I wouldn't be too surprised, but it was completely different. It was incredibly fun and is definitely something you should experience! The guides, Daisuke, Rei, and Koichiro, not only gently pointed out the direction of the dolphins but also ensured that the person who stayed on the boat kept an eye on everyone in the water, allowing us to safely and comfortably swim close to the dolphins.

You can't say you've been to Hawaii if you don't do this!

ハワイ　と言えば　というくらい散々テレビで観ていたイルカツアーだから
そんなに驚愕しないと思って臨みましたが、　全く違います。
すごくすごーく楽しく　必ず体験すべきです！
ガイドのダイスケさん、レイさん、コウイチロウさんは　イルカのいる方向を優しく教えてくれるだけでなく、船に残った一人が海面の全員への目配りを怠らず、安全に快適にイルカの動きを間近に見て泳げました。

やらずに過ごしては　ハワイとは言えません！

I participated with my 3-year-old and 6-year-old children. They provided a sheet with translations of the instructions in Japanese.

The ride to Kealakekua Bay was somewhat bumpy, and the kids sitting in the front seats on the first floor seemed a bit scared. However, once we arrived and saw a lot of fish in the calm sea, their fear seemed to disappear, and they actually enjoyed the return trip.

My 3-year-old usually dislikes getting water on his face, but when we borrowed a board to look underwater and showed him the fish points, he quietly enjoyed it. At first, he was scared to get on, but afterward, he wanted to ride again and had fun.

Breakfast and lunch were included (they served Costco muffins, which tasted just like the ones in Japan), and considering the prices in Hawaii, I think this is quite a good deal!

We visited various beaches on this trip, but my kids said this one was the most fun. Thank you to all the staff!

ケアラアクア湾に着くまではそれなりに揺れ、1階の前のシートに陣取った子供達は少し怖かった様ですが、現地について穏やかな海で沢山のお魚を見るとその恐怖も吹き飛んだのか帰りは寧ろ楽しんでいました。
3歳の子は水が顔にかかるのも嫌なくらいなのですが、水中が覗けるボードを借り、お魚ポイントを見せてあげると、黙って楽しんでいました。
最初乗るときは怖がってましたが、その後は自ら乗りたい！と楽しんでました。
朝食も昼食もついて(コストコのマフィンとかですが、日本のそれと変わらずの無難な味)ハワイの物価を考えるとこの値段はかなりお得だと思います！
今回の旅で色々なビーチに行きましたが、子供もここが1番楽しかったと言ってました。

I searched for activities that I could do with my 1 year and 11-month-old child on the Big Island of Hawaii and participated in one. Since we came all the way to the Big Island, I wanted to join activities that allow us to enjoy nature, but I thought there would be quite limited options for toddlers.

This snorkeling tour was enjoyable for both adults and toddlers! They provided rental snorkeling gear in adult sizes, as well as baby-sized safety vests and floaties, which you could choose between those with and without a seat.

By adjusting the playtime according to the water temperature and the baby's condition, we were able to have a great time. When we visited, the water temperature was a bit chilly, so we opted for the afternoon course with an hour and a half of snorkeling time, but we wrapped it up after about 30 minutes to accommodate the baby's condition. (The first 10 minutes of snorkeling time included a briefing on safety and a tutorial on how to use the snorkeling gear.)

During the remaining time, we relaxed in the sun while enjoying an all-you-can-eat snack and giving the baby some treats while admiring the beautiful scenery. My husband enjoyed snorkeling a bit longer and had fun on the diving slide.

We were able to fully enjoy snorkeling unique to the Big Island, seeing the clear water and many colorful fish! If you bring an underwater camera, the clear water allows you to capture adorable fish swarming around the coral reefs, which is a lot of fun.

The slide was quite high for someone like me who can't swim (you slide down from the second floor of the boat into the sea), but my husband seemed to enjoy it. It was hard to get bored, but if you do get tired of snorkeling, you can also enjoy the thrilling slide or diving, making the hour and a half fly by!

On the way back, in addition to snacks, there were all-you-can-eat cut oranges and pineapples, allowing us to recover the calories we burned swimming while enjoying the beautiful sea, making the cruise itself enjoyable. The baby was happy because he could eat oranges! They mentioned that you might see dolphins during the cruise, but unfortunately, we didn't see any during our time, though it was still plenty of fun.

Also, please note that Japanese is not spoken on-site, and communication is only in English. Moreover, there were no other Japanese people besides our family. However, even with our limited English, the staff responded with smiles and didn't show any displeasure, so I think even with middle school-level English, you can manage just fine. There are Japanese instruction sheets on board for safety briefings, so if you're worried about your English skills, you can feel comfortable participating. The safety instructions included areas where swimming is allowed, prohibitions against diving under the boat, touching the coral reefs, standing on the seabed including the coral reefs, and warnings about not touching sea urchins as they are very dangerous.

One service I appreciated was that there was sunscreen available on the boat for free. Since environmentally friendly sunscreen is necessary to protect the coral reefs, I was wondering if my own sunscreen would be okay, but they had proper sunscreen available that could be used for babies as well! It was mentioned in the instructions to apply it 30 minutes before entering the water.

The boat was a catamaran, which might have less sway, but it still rocked quite a bit, so I think it's better for those who are prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication. It’s also wise to have bags and wipes for the baby. Since the cruise takes about an hour each way, it might be good to have a change of clothes for the baby, as they might get cold if they stay in wet swimsuits on the way back. We didn't bring any, and I wrapped the baby in a bath towel to keep him warm in the sun on the way back, so it was fine, but it might be better to have a change of clothes. By the way, the only place to change is the restro

1歳11ヶ月の幼児とハワイ島で参加出来るアクティビティを探して参加しました。
せっかくハワイ島に来たからには自然を満喫出来るアクティビティに参加したいですが、
幼児もとなるとなかなか少ないと思います。

こちらのシュノーケリングツアーは幼児も問題無く楽しめました！
大人サイズのシュノーケリング道具のレンタルはもちろん、ベビーサイズの安全ベスト(名前が分からない)や、浮き輪も股付き、股無しで選べて貸してくれます。

水温やベビーの体調を鑑みて、遊ぶ時間を調整すれば楽しく過ごせます。
我が家が遊びに行った時期は水温が少し冷たかったので午後のコースで1時間半のシュノーケリングタイムでしたが、ベビーの体調に合わせて30分位で切り上げました。
(シュノーケリングタイムの最初の10分位は注意事項の説明とシュノーケリングの使い方講座です)

残りの時間は素晴らしい景色を眺めながら、食べ放題のスナックを頂いたり、ベビーにおやつをあげたりしながらのんびり日向ぼっこ。
主人はもう少しシュノーケリングをしたり、飛び込みのすべり台をして楽しんでいました。


水の透明度も、カラフルなお魚達もたくさん見れてハワイ島ならではのシュノーケリングを満喫出来ました！
水中カメラを持って行くと水が綺麗なので、珊瑚礁に群がる可愛い魚たちを撮ることが出来て楽しいです。


すべり台は泳げない私には結構な高さで(船の二階から海に滑り降りる)出来ませんでしたが、主人は楽しかったようです。
なかなか飽きませんが、もしシュノーケリングに飽きたらスリリングなすべり台や飛び込みも出来て1時間半はあっという間です！

帰りの船内ではスナックの他にカットオレンジやパイナップルが食べ放題で、
泳いで消費したカロリーを回復しながら素敵な海を眺め、クルージング自体も楽しかったです。
ベビーもオレンジは食べれるのでご機嫌でした！
クルージング中にいるかに会えるかも？と書いていましたが、私達の時は見れず残念でしたがそれでも十分楽しかったです。


それと現地では日本語は通じず、英語のみで会話します。
しかも私達家族以外の日本人も居ませんでした。
それでもチェックインからつたない単語メインの英語でも、スタッフの方は嫌な顔せずニコニコと対応してくれるので中学生レベルの英語でもなんとかなります。
船内では注意事項の説明は日本語の説明書があるので英語力に不安がある場合も安心して遊べると思います。
注意事項は泳いで良い範囲、
海洋保護地区の為に船の下に潜る事、珊瑚礁に触ること、珊瑚礁を含め海底に立つことを禁止、ウニはとても危険だから触らない事等が書いていました。

サービスで嬉しかったのは、日焼け止めも船にあり無料で使えた事です。
珊瑚礁を白化から守るため環境配慮の日焼け止めが必要で自分が持っている日焼け止めでも大丈夫かな？と思っていたら、ちゃんと日焼け止めが用意してあり、ベビーにも使えました！
水に入る30分前には塗ること、と注意事項に書いていました。

船は双胴船で揺れも少ないのかも知れませんが、それでもだいぶ揺れるので酔いやすい方は酔い止め薬を飲んだ方が良いと思います。
ベビー用には袋と拭くものがあると無難です。
クルージングも片道1時間弱あるので、帰りに濡れた水着のままだとベビーが寒がるかも知れないので着替えもあった方が良いと思います。
我が家は持って行かず、ベビーをバスタオルでぐるぐる巻きにして日向ぼっこさせながら帰ったので大丈夫でしたが、着替えた方が良いかも知れませんね。
ちなみに着替える場所は船内にトイレしかありません。

ハワイ島で幼児も参加出来るアクティビティを探しているならオススメです。

Disappointing. Few manta rays far away.
Arms were aching outstretched hanging onto raft. Crew was not very friendly. Snacks were unavailable and drinking water not there. Had to ask for a cup of water 2 or 3 times.
Regretable experience. Let down.

I encountered a family of bottlenose dolphins, which are not commonly seen in Hawaii—only about once in twenty times! The guides took plenty of time to ensure everyone could definitely see them. I was with an elderly couple who didn’t have the stamina to swim, but the guide helped pull them along to see the dolphins. This is definitely a tour I want to repeat when I go back to Hawaii!

ハワイで通常見られるイルカではなく、20回に1回ぐらいしか見られないハンドウイルカの家族にあえました！！
全員が確実に見れるように時間もたっぷりかけてくれました。
泳ぐ体力がないご高齢の夫婦と一緒でしたが、ガイドの方が引っ張ってイルカを見せてあげていました。
またハワイに行ったら絶対にリピートしたいツアーです！

I thought I would only be able to see the dolphins from a distance, but I was able to see them quite closely! I appreciated that the guide positioned himself in places where the dolphins were likely to come. He was also a friendly person.

The dolphins swam quite fast, and I felt like I was swimming more than just leisurely snorkeling. (laughs) My husband and I were used to snorkeling and good swimmers, so we could keep up, but others who participated seemed quite exhausted. Well, it's to be expected since they are wild.

I was satisfied because meeting the dolphins was the main goal, but considering the price, I felt the time was a bit short, so I would rate it minus one star. We probably spent about 45 minutes in the water, and we wrapped up shortly after 10 AM.

I fully understand that we shouldn't have long interactions with wild dolphins, but if there are areas nearby with coral and fish, I think it would be appropriate to include snorkeling there for the price.

もっと遠くからしか見えないと思っていましたが、なかなかの距離でイルカちゃんが見えました！
ガイドさんがイルカちゃんが来そうなところに先回りしてくれるのが有り難かったです。ガイドさんも気さくな方でした。

イルカちゃんは泳ぐのが結構早く、ゆっくりシュノーケリングというよりは随分水泳させられた気はします。笑
私達夫婦はシュノーケリングに慣れていたのと、泳ぐのも得意だったのでついていけましたが、一緒に参加されていた方は相当疲労困憊していました。。
野生なので、仕方ないですけどね。。

イルカちゃんに会うのが目的だったので満足していますが、お値段を考えると時間が短かったかな〜と思いマイナス1です。たぶん潜ったのは45分くらいかな？午前10時すぎには解散となりました。

野生イルカに長い時間接触すべきではないというのは重々理解していますが、近隣にサンゴやお魚がいるようなところがあれば、そこでのシュノーケリングもできると、お値段に相応かなと思いました。

We moved to the meeting point by rental car. There was no parking, so we had to park on the street. We were the only Japanese people there, and there seemed to be many elderly white people. I had heard there were two snorkeling points, but there was only one at Captain Cook, which was a bit disappointing. The staff were energetic and cheerful, and since the explanations were only in English, I couldn't understand anything, but they were very kind and friendly, which made me feel completely at ease. I didn't have high expectations for the meal since it was on the boat (sorry), but it turned out to be very delicious. The hamburgers had unlimited toppings, so I piled on as much as I wanted without hesitation. There were drinks available, but they were just okay. On the way back, we encountered a family of whales, and they kindly stopped the boat so we could observe them closely.

レンタカーで集合場所まで移動。駐車場がないので路駐になりました。日本人は私達だけ。白人のお年寄りが多い印象でした。２か所と聞いていたシュノーケルポイントはキャプテンクック１か所だけで、少し物足りなかったです。スタッフさんは元気で明るく、説明は英語だけでしたから全く理解はできませんでしたがとても優しくフレンドリーで感じが良くて、不安になることは一つもありませんでした。食事は船上ということもあり期待をしていなかったのですが(ごめんなさい)、これがとても美味しかった。ハンバーガーは自分で好きなだけトッピングできたので遠慮なくたくさん乗せました。飲み物はありますがいまいち。帰りにクジラの家族に遭遇し、わざわざ船を止めてくれたのでゆっくり見学できました。

I experienced night marine sports for the first time. On the first attempt, we went out from the bay to the open sea, but the waves were high, so we had to turn back. Since there was availability the next day, I made a reservation on the spot.

The second time, the weather was good, and we set out safely. I had heard it could be cold, so I paid an extra fee to wear a wetsuit, which kept me warm until we reached the boat's anchoring point. While the other foreigners were in regular swimsuits, I personally felt it was a good decision to rent one.

After arriving at the anchoring point, we got off the boat and floated in the sea while the instructor pulled a float (something like two surfboards connected) to a spot where we could see manta rays. After waiting for a while, a manta ray appeared right in front of us and showed us its acrobatic flips. Illuminated by the blue light used to attract plankton in the dark night sea, the manta ray was incredibly beautiful and refreshing to behold (perhaps because I'm a beginner in marine sports).

The starry sky on the return boat ride was also lovely. The only slight disappointment was that the hot chocolate was very delicious, but the portion was small, so I couldn't have a second serving. I will definitely participate again next time.

夜のマリンスポーツを始めて体験しました。
1回目は湾から外海に出たものの波が高く引き返すことに。翌日に空きがあったのでその場で再予約してもらいました。
2回目は天気もよく無事に出向。寒い可能性もあると聞いていたため追加料金を払いウェットスーツを着ていたため船の停泊ポイント到着まで寒くなかったです。周りの外国人は普通の水着でしたが個人的には借りてよかったな。
船の停泊ポイント到着後、船から降り海の中でプカプカ浮きながらマンタがよく見えそうなポイントまでイントラクターが浮き輪？（サーフボードを２つくっつけたもののようなモノ）を引っ張って移動。しばらく待っているとマンタがわれわれの目の前に登場し宙返りする姿を見せてくれました。暗い夜の海の中、プランクトンを集めるための青いライトに照らされるマンタはとても美しく心が洗われました。（マリンスポーツ初心者だからでしょうか）
帰りの船から見る星空も素敵でした。
ちょっと残念なのはホットチョコレートがとっても美味しいのですが、量がすくないためお代わりができなかったことですかね。
次回も参加させて頂きます。

On the morning of the same day, I went on a dolphin tour, but surprisingly, I couldn't encounter any dolphins (I did meet them during a revenge swim), which was nerve-wracking. However, I did get to see manta rays! They were flipping in the air at close range, and it was truly moving.

That said, the night sea is indeed cold, so warm clothing is necessary. I'm extremely sensitive to the cold, so I wore my own thin semi-dry suit and a borrowed wetsuit on top, which kept me comfortable throughout. However, many others looked quite cold.

The hot chocolate that our guide, Tamae, served as a complimentary treat was one of the best I've ever had in my life. I wonder how she makes it!

同日の朝にイルカツアーにいったらまさかのイルカ遭遇できずで（リベンジスイムで会えましたが）ドキドキでしたが、マンタには出会えました！至近距離で何匹も宙返りしてくれて感動ものでした。
ただ、やっぱり夜の海は寒いので防寒は必要です。自分は極度の寒がりなので自前の薄いセミドライスーツを着てその上に借りたウェットを着ていたので終始快適に過ごせましたが、寒そうな方が多かったです。
ガイドのたまえさんがサービスで振る舞ってくれたホットチョコレートが今までの人生で一番くらいのレベルで美味しかったです。あれはどうやってつくるんだろう～。

A one-hour cruise to the snorkeling point. If you get seasick, be sure to take precautions! The food, location, and the crew's coolness were all top-notch! We even got to meet dolphins at the end! If you're going snorkeling, I think it's better to go to beaches like Honaunau or Kahalu'u.

シュノーケリングだったら、ホナウナウ、カハルウ等のビーチに行った方が良いと思う。

Mike's guidance was excellent. I was very satisfied with the wild dolphins and snorkeling. By chance, we also had the boat to ourselves, which made for great memories. I want to go to the Big Island of Hawaii again.

My first time on the Big Island! For our 30th wedding anniversary, my husband chose this tour for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The view of the Big Island from the sky was amazing. The highlight of this tour is landing at a waterfall. The waterfall, which can only be accessed by helicopter, is breathtaking. I highly recommend experiencing the growing beauty of the Big Island.
