I have had a few horseback riding experiences on Oahu, but they were just walking tours. Here, we were able to trot a bit in a safe, spacious area. If you're scared, it's perfectly fine to just walk. You can still enjoy it. Other tours had 3-hour courses, but I think this 1.5-hour option is the best time since my backside would start to hurt.

One downside was that it took a while for the toilet tank to fill up because there was only one pipe available.

I participate in the same tour almost every year! I've also gone horseback riding on Oahu, but the Big Island is definitely more enjoyable! Since it's up in the mountains, the weather is often bad, but this year it was clear and perfect. You rarely get to experience such refreshing 90 minutes. No matter how many times I participate, I always want to ride again next year. I highly recommend it to everyone!♡

The horses were beautiful and cute, and the female guide was very friendly, speaking slowly and kindly, which made it a lot of fun. I participated again this year, just like last year. It was truly enjoyable, just like before. There were also flush toilets, and they had a good selection of rental items like windbreakers, which was helpful. Additionally, the pet dogs and cats were unbelievably friendly, and they brought me a lot of comfort.

Participating as a family of four was truly a courageous choice, especially considering the impact of the exchange rate, but I'm so glad we decided to go for it! It was my first time on a helicopter, and thanks to the thoughtful care of the staff and pilot, I was able to enjoy it without any worries. I wanted to see the Kilauea volcano erupting magma, and I was able to capture that on video to show my elderly mother who was waiting back in Japan. Additionally, we chose a tour that included a stop at a waterfall, and that turned out to be a fantastic decision! It allowed us to truly experience the lush nature of the Big Island. The view of the mountains and valleys from the sea, the green landscape, the blue coral reef waters, and the brown-black of the volcano and lava were all so vibrant and unforgettable. Plus, we were greeted by a cute dog! I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

There were 10 participants and 2 instructors. They were kind and friendly, but everything was in English. However, it was manageable. The atmosphere, gestures, and finally mimicking everyone worked out fine. It was truly a fun time. I will definitely go again, of course as an individual participant!

The rain-soaked grasslands looked beautiful. In the midst of all this, a family of wild pigs, about ten of them, crossed the path like a scene from a movie. The two and a half hours flew by. It was truly a wonderful experience. I really want to go again!

The guide speaks only in English, but they talk very slowly and clearly.
Wearing a helmet while riding is optional, but it's best to wear one.

This was my second helicopter tour, but it was my first time sitting next to the pilot. The view was wide and I highly recommend it. You can see down very well, so this tour offered great views of the waterfalls and canyons. I think 50 minutes is just the right length.

The pilot was very kind and cheerful. He seemed to be a former military pilot, so his skills were definitely impressive. All the staff were also very friendly. There are many wonderful views on the Big Island that you can't see from a car or land, so I think taking a helicopter tour to see them from the sky is a great experience. I've heard that during periods of volcanic eruptions, reservations fill up quickly and it's hard to get a spot. Definitely give it a try!

When the time came, we took a tour of the Big Island, flying counterclockwise. It was about a two-hour helicopter tour.
