From the pre-show to the main event, the host uniquely kept things interesting and it was very entertaining. The luau show at Hilton was the best in terms of venue size, stage size, and the host's skills. The dancers in the luau show seem to rotate among the hotels, as I have seen them in other shows as well...

プレショーから本番まで、司会の方がユニークに飽きさせずに進行して、とても面白かったです。ヒルトンのルアウショー は、会場の規模、舞台の大きさ、司会の技量等、一番良かったです。ルアウショー の踊る人たちは各ホテル持ち回りのようで、ほかのショーでも見かけましたが・・・・。

PLEASE READ, IT WILL HELP! Truthfully I was skeptical when the tour started, we were the last boat to the area and the last in the water and you could see everyone getting a little edgy seeing other groups experiencing the odd Manta whilst we were still on deck. The staff kept telling us to relax, it would be great. When we finally got in the water we waited a short while for the first Manta and it is exciting, however we didn’t know what was to come. Their plan worked a treat, the other boats all started to leave as they are
On strict timeframes (although we didn’t realise this with our heads down) and we were swarmed by Mantas. The crew counted 7, I thought there were more but perhaps that was my excitement. These giants come so close you can’t believe they don’t touch you belly to belly as they barrel roll. THIS IS AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE. The crew are very careful not to damage the environment with their anchor placement and so respectful of the Mantas. I cannot recommend this experience or this operator enough.

Wonderful time. Had Kevin and Andre as our guides. They were wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. We were in very good hands. I didn’t listen and left my Apple Watch on when cliff jumping and sure enough it came off. I was sad but it was really my own fault. Kevin took pity on me and was able to find it!! Absolutely above and beyond what I would have expected. Great excursion, lots of fish, fun facts. We felt safe and well looked after the whole time. 10/10 would recommend.

Great experience knowledgeable guides. Whole operation runs smooth. Definitely touristy but there is a reason it’s so popular! Book it! 10/10 would recommend. Beautiful experience. Such great animals.

In the summer sea, you can enjoy the sunset and stay in the water for 45 minutes without it being too cold. They keep the lights on in the water, so many manta rays swim close by. They spin around right in front of you, showing off their playful spirit. On the boat, there are light snacks available, such as drinks, fruits, and chips. It's all in English, but it's easy to understand and fun. If you're prone to seasickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must. Keauhou Bay is quite far, so it's fine for those staying at the Sheraton, but others will need to rent a car.

夏の海、サンセットもみれて、そんなに冷たくない海で45分つかります。
海ではずっとライトをつけてくれるのでたくさんのマンタが近くを通ってくれます。
目の前でくるくる回ってくれたりサービス精神旺盛でした。
船では飲み物やフルーツ、チップスなどの軽食サービスもあります。
英語オンリーですが、わかりやすいし楽しいです。
船酔いしやすい人は酔い止め必須です。
ケアウホウベイはかなり遠いので、シェラトンの人は隣でいいけどそれ以外の宿泊の人はレンタカーが必要ですね。

The meeting time was set for 1:00 PM, but the local staff arrived around 1:25 PM, so I thought it would have been fine to delay the meeting time a bit. The tour itself was enjoyable, as the instructor taught us about various fruits growing in the area and kept the mood lively. The Waipi'o Valley is also a place you can only visit through such tours, so it was very worthwhile.

ＰＭ1：00集合だったが、現地の係員が来たのがＰＭ1：25ぐらいだったので、もう少し集合時間は遅らせてもよいと思った。
ツアー自体は、インストラクターがいろいろと生えているフルーツを教えてくれたり、気分も盛り上げてくれるので、楽しかった。
ワイピオ渓谷自体もこういったツアーでないと行けないので、非常によかった

About 30 minutes before the gathering time, there were quite a few people in line, and in total, I think there were over 200 people at a glance. The buffet area was very small, and we had to go to each table to get our food. The taste was okay, but I didn't feel like going back for seconds. Beer and other drinks were all-you-can-drink.

The show itself was average, and it didn't really get the whole venue excited. From the poolside, depending on the room, you can see it better than being in the venue. Since we were staying at this hotel, I felt that it would have been sufficient to watch from the poolside.

集合時間の３０分前には結構多くの人が並んでいて、最終的には軽く見ても２００人以上はいたと思います。ビュッフェ会場はとても小さくて、テーブルごとに料理を取りに行かされました。味はまあまあでしたが、私はおかわりがほしいとは思いませんでした。ビールなどは飲み放題です。
ショーの内容は普通で、会場全体が盛り上がるというほどではありません。
プールサイドからも、部屋によっては会場にいるより、しっかり見ることができます。私達はこのホテルに泊まっていたので、申し訳ないですが、これならプールサイドからで十分だったなあと思いました。

This time, Grandpa and Grandma were on their second horseback riding experience, while the other seven were first-timers. It was a total of nine people, and the one who enjoyed it the most was a third-grade girl.

After riding and holding the reins tightly, she crossed a stream and exclaimed, "This is fun!" When she saw the fruits and beautiful flowers along the path, she said, "How lovely!" And upon seeing the waterfall in the valley, she shouted, "This is the best!" She seemed to want more than just an hour of horseback riding.

Everyone else was also moved, whether it was crossing the river or when the horse started eating grass. Grandpa and Grandma, who recommended the horseback riding, were very satisfied.

今回は、ジジ・ババは２度目、その他７名は初めて。合計９名での乗馬体験でしたが、一番喜んだのは小３女の子。
乗馬して、手綱をしっかりホールドしたら小川を渡ると「楽しい－」、道脇の果物・綺麗な花を見たら「素敵！」、渓谷の滝を見たら「最高！」と大声を張り上げて、乗馬の楽しさを満喫し乗馬１時間では物足りない様子。
他の人達も、川を渡る時、馬が草を食べ始めた時全てが感動の連続で、乗馬を勧めたジジ・ババは大満足。

This was my second time participating. Although only English is spoken, they responded politely even with my broken language, which made me feel at ease. My 6-year-old and 8-year-old had a blast sliding down the slide on the boat and jumping off the diving board. The hamburger lunch, with burgers grilled on the boat, was also fantastic. I will definitely participate again when I go to Hawaii Island.

今回は２回目の参加でした。英語しか通じないですが、片言でも丁寧に対応してくれて、安心して参加できます。６歳と８歳の子どもも船の滑り台から滑ったり、飛び込み台からジャンプしたりと大はしゃぎでした。船上で焼いてくれるハンバーガーをはさんでのハンバーガーの昼食も最高です。またハワイ島に行く時は参加します。

I was a bit anxious about the English guide, but the guide was great, and I was able to enjoy myself with a little Japanese. Horseback riding was a first experience for my whole family, and I thought we might need a bit of practice, but we were just taught how to ride and control the horse, and then we started riding. It turned out to be a really fun time.

After about two hours of horseback riding, my groin started to hurt. Also, the microbus ride to Waipi'o was enjoyable.

英語ガイドで少し不安がありましたが、ガイドの方が良く、少しの日本語で楽しく過ごせました。乗馬は家族全員が初めての体験で少しは練習がるのではと思いましたが、馬に乗る方法やコントロールする方法を教えて頂いただけで、乗馬開始、でもすごく楽しい時間を過ごすこととができました。
約2時間の乗馬が終わると股間が痛くなりまりました。また、ワイピオまでのマイクロバスは楽しかったです。

I went horseback riding in Waipi'o Valley, which is considered a sacred place for the people of Hawaii. We drove down a narrow, steep slope in a 4WD vehicle and rode horses in a secluded area that felt almost like a jungle. After a brief explanation, we got right into riding. We crossed a river and went through the forest; it truly felt like an adventure. My horse was named Sweet Oakley. He was well-trained and listened carefully to the instructions. My 8 and 11-year-old children also had a great time.

ハワイの人々にとっての聖地とされるワイピオ渓谷で乗馬しました。４WDの車で細くて急な坂を下り、ほぼジャングルのような人気の少ないところでお馬さんに乗りました。簡単な説明の後、すぐに乗馬。川をわたったり、森の中を抜けたり、まさにアドベンチャーといった感じです。スイートオーコレーという名前のお馬さんでした。きちんと調教されているので、しっかりインストラクションを聞いておくということを聞いてくれます。８歳１１歳の子供たちも楽しんでました。

One of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island was jumping in the water after dark and watching these enormous, graceful creatures emerge from the blackness, do a few plankton-catching loops and then disappear back into the darkness. Can't recommend it enough!

It was a more authentic sea kayaking experience than I imagined, and the waves were quite large that day, making it a bit tough for my wife and our middle school son. However, personally, I enjoyed the tour as I was able to fully appreciate the nature of Hawaii Island. Also, be careful of getting sunburned.

想像以上に本格的なシーカヤックで当日は波も大きく、家内や中学生男子には少し辛い体験でしたが、個人的にはハワイ島の自然を漫喫出来て楽しいツアーでした。あと、全身日焼け注意。

There were hardly any Japanese people, but all the staff were kind, and other customers were well-mannered, making it very comfortable. The cruise goes further than I expected, so I was really satisfied. The meals weren't particularly luxurious, but considering the price, they were sufficient. The live performance was very pleasant, and I'm really glad I participated.

日本人がほとんどいなかったのですが、スタッフが皆親切で、他のお客さんもマナーを守っていて、とても快適でした。思ったより遠くまでクルーズするので、本当に満足出来ます。
食事はそれ程豪華ではないですが、あの料金から考えたら充分かな？
生演奏もとても心地よく、参加して本当に良かったです。

You're just floating with a snorkel and holding onto a float for 45 minutes. It gets really cold, so it might be tough for those who aren't very fit or for small children. We did get to see manta rays, which was impressive, but we only saw about six in 45 minutes, and the water wasn't very clear either. Since we did see the manta rays, I'll give it three stars.

By the way, the "noodle" refers to the stick-shaped float that is given before entering the water. Haha!

すごく冷えるので、体力が無い方や小さい子にはキツイかもしれません
マンタは観れて大迫力でしたが、45分で6匹くらい、、、海もあまり綺麗じゃありませんでした
一応マンタ観れたので、星3です

因みに、ヌードルは海に入る前に渡される棒状の浮き輪の事です笑

The show itself was good. I felt that the variety of dishes was a bit lacking, and there seemed to be a limited selection of drinks. I also thought the prices were a bit high.

ショー自体は良かったです。
料理の種類が少し物足りないのと、飲み物の種類が少なかった気がします。料金的に少し高かったように思います。

The wave conditions were checked in advance, and the time was changed to an earlier slot, but the waves were calm and it was fantastic. It was my first time kayaking in the ocean, so my body was sore afterward, but snorkeling in the sea was amazing. Sunscreen is absolutely necessary. Even with it on, I got quite sunburned.

事前に波の状態をみて早めの時間変更となったが波も穏やかで最高でした。海でのカヤックは初めてだったので後日体が痛くなりましたが、シュノーケルでの海は最高でした。日焼け止めは絶対に必要です。塗ってもかなり焼けました。

Before it started, there was a lecture about marine life. The instructor explained in simple English, but since my second grader and kindergartener weren't very familiar with English, they seemed quite confused. I think it would have been better if the explanation was given at a slower pace, perhaps with a picture book or something to show. We managed to get through that time, and then it was off to the Dolphin Lagoon. The dolphins were really smart and interacted in various ways. We could touch their bellies, faces, pectoral fins, and tails, and the photographer was ready to capture each child's best shot. We enjoyed it for over 20 minutes, and the kids were very satisfied. We were also able to freely take videos and photos, and of course, we could purchase the snapshots and image data taken by the staff. I thought it was great that the program was designed specifically for the kids, focusing on their perspective. Both of my children agreed that the most fun part of our trip to the Big Island was the Dolphin Quest! We truly had a wonderful time.

始まる前に、海に生物についてレクチャーがあります。簡単な英語でインストラクターさんが説明している様子でしたが、英語にそれほどなじめていない小２と年長なので、けっこうポカンとしていました。もう少しゆっくりとした口調で、絵本とか何か見せながらの説明であれば、なお良かったと思います。なんとか、その時間をやり過ごし、いざドルフィンラグーンへ。いろいろなふれあいのパターンをしてくれて本当にお利口なイルカでした。お腹や顔、胸ヒレ、尾ビレとタッチができ、それぞれの子供のベストショットを狙って、カメラマンもスタンバイ。20分以上、十分に楽しむことができ、子供たちも大満足でした。その様子は、ビデオやカメラで自由に撮ることもできましたし、もちろん撮ってもらったスナップ写真や画像データの購入もできました。子供たちだけのグループで、子供目線でのプログラムが良かったと思います。二人の「ハワイ島旅行で１番の楽しかったこと♪」が「ドルフィン・クエスト♪」で一致！本当に素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。

I chose the King Kamehameha Hotel because I wanted to see the show.
We were supposed to gather at 5:30, but by 5:00, there was a long line at the meeting place.
We sit in the order we lined up for the seats in the show venue.
We go to the grassy area to get dinner and drinks in order.
The venue is very close to the ocean, near the home of King Kamehameha. The breeze was refreshing.

◎並んだ順番に、基本　ショー会場の席に座ります。
◎芝生エリアに、夕食と飲み物を、順番にとりに行きます。
◎会場は海が直ぐ近くで、カメハメハ王の家の近く。風が清々しかったです。

Staying at Royal Kona was very convenient. I lined up early after reading the reviews and was able to get a spot relatively close to the front. As it started, the sunset was beautiful, and I was captivated by the stunning view. The meal was served in a way where we went to get it in order of seating, so it wasn't too crowded. The taste was good as well. The song "Number One Day of Christmas" was amusing and stuck in my head, and my family and I found ourselves humming it.

ロイヤルコナに泊まっていたので、とても便利でした。クチコミを見て早めに並び、わりと前の方で見ることができました。
始まる頃に夕日が沈み、素晴らしい景色にうっとり。
食事は座席順に取りに行く形でしたのでそれほど混むこともなかったです。
味も良かったですよ。
ナンバーワンデイオブクリスマスの歌が面白くて、耳に残り、家族で口ずさんでました。

Verry good tour. Our guide was a geologist and provided a lot of information on the formation of the island chain and the volcanic activity and its aftermath.

the boat ride to the snorkeling site was really good. saw dolphins and flying fish en route.
the snorkeling itself was good but not great. not a large variety of sea life. the water was very choppy. Crew were good and helpful. Food was really bad.

My husband and I and our two kids did the kayak tour and it was a lot of fun. It was a workout but the tour guides were very helpful and friendly. My kids are 15 and 9 and they both handled it well. We would recommend and probably do it again.

It was my son's and my first kayaking experience together. The instruction was thorough, and we had a lot of fun. It required more physical strength than I expected, and I gradually fell behind on the way back, but the sense of achievement when we reached the shore was wonderful. It became a great memory. Thank you very much!☆

息子と2人で初めてのカヤック体験でした。
丁寧に教えて頂き、楽しかったです。
思ったより体力必須で、帰りはだんだん追いつけなくなりましたが、岸に着いたときの達成感がまた良かったです。良い思い出になりました。

Our tour guide knew so much about the island - history, weather, plants, animals, local favorite spots for food and fun, beaches, etc. I wish we had reserved the tour earlier in our stay so that we could take advantage of the tips he gave! We had plenty of time at each stop to really experience each of them - Kona coffee, lava tubes, black sand beaches, turtles, volcanoes, waterfalls and more! We had beautiful weather everywhere except Akaka Falls and the driver was equipped with rain jackets for everyone. I highly recommend this tour!

This was most definitely the highlight of my families trip, the scenery is beyond amazing. Nothing like i have EVER seen before and the horses are absolutely amazing. It was my kids and my husband’s first time riding and the horses were great for them! Actually made them fall in love with horseback riding just like I am! So thank you to the ranch for letting us experience that as a family! I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend doing this on your vacation or even if you live there and looking for something to do!

Our party of 7 had an absolutely fantastic adventure on our sea cave kayak and snorkeling trip. Devon, our guide, was really knowledgeable and very fun to be with. He was very helpful and made everyone feel very comfortable and at ease.

We had a great time kayaking (about 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back), swimming, snorkeling, and even jumping off of a cliff. The visit to the sea cave was also very neat.

We feel like we had 4 different excursions between the kayaking, cliff jumping, snorkeling and swimming, and the sea cave.

We would highly recommend this trip. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our 10 days in Kona.

I would like the group size to be a bit smaller. With 6 people in one group, it's already expensive at 3 minutes per person just by simple calculation. Also, the purchase of digital photos starts at $55 for 2 photos! After that, it's $22 per photo. Buying 4 photos costs $99, which is too high and quite shocking.

グループの人数をもう少し少なくしてほしい。1グループ6人で、単純計算しても一人当たり3分間で高い。またデジタル写真購入がなんと2枚からで55ドル！そのあとは1枚あたり22ドル。4枚購入して99ドル、高すぎで、呆れた。

By booking a premium seat, you can watch right in front of the stage. They also come to take your drink refill orders, which is convenient. The buffet food was delicious. The hula dance was wonderful, but the final dance by the man using fire was magnificent!

プレミアム席を申し込むと舞台の真ん前で観られます。ドリンクのお代わりの注文も取りに来てくれ楽チン。ビュッフェの食事も美味しかった。フラダンスも素晴らしいけど、最後の火を使う男性の舞踊が勇壮でした！

The scenery of the valley explored on horseback was very beautiful, and it was a fun experience with a bit of thrill. You can also see power spots. The guide speaks English and some broken Japanese. Contrary to appearances, they are very polite. Even beginner riders in the family were satisfied!

乗馬で巡る渓谷の風景はとても美しく、少しスリルも感じる楽しい経験でした。パワースポットも見れます。ガイドは英語と片言の日本語話せます。見かけによらず(?)丁寧です。乗馬初心者の家族も満足してます！
