We had the highest experience during our early morning adventure, and the weather was perfect, making it very pleasant. It was just the two of us and one other couple, so we finished before 9:00 AM and were able to go straight to Atlantis (the submarine). Since we finished earlier than expected, we had some waiting time.

The parasailing booth is right next to it, so it was very easy to enjoy the experience. Even after doing both optional activities, we were done by noon, which left us the afternoon free for other fun activities or shopping, which was great.

早朝の体験で、どうせならと一番高い体験でした。天気にも恵まれてとても気持ちよかったです。私達夫婦と、もう1組の2組での体験でしたので、9：00前に終わり、そのままアトランティス(潜水艦)も行けました。予想より早く終わったので、待ち時間が出来てしまいました。

It was our first experience as a couple approaching our sixties. I was a bit worried about everything being in English, but it was a great help that another participant, a Japanese person with good English skills, acted as an interpreter. We paddled quite a distance along the quay. Along the way, we encountered wild dolphins—what a lucky surprise! They were swimming right in front of us, and it was astonishing. At the turnaround point, we landed and went snorkeling. The yellow fish were beautiful, and there were plenty of sea urchins. The waves were a bit rough, making the kayaking thrilling, but during calm times, it seems like it would be a relaxing experience.

すべてが英語の案内でどうなることかと思いましたが、他の参加者に英語力のある日本人に通訳していただき大変助かりました。結構な距離を岸壁沿いにこいでいきました。途中で野生のイルカ達と遭遇　ラッキーでした。目の前にわんさかウジャウジャって感じでビックリ。折り返し地点で上陸して、シュノーケリング。黄色い魚がきれいでした。雲丹もいっぱいいました。波がややあったのでスリルありのカヤックでしたが、穏やかな時はのんびりと楽しめそうです。

I participated on the last night of our stay. As mentioned in the comments, there were no other Japanese participants besides our family, and many older couples from Europe and America attended! However, the crew was very attentive, and we were able to enjoy the sunset comfortably! They shared stories about the history of Hawaii, but since we are not good at English, we didn't understand much. However, I think Japanese guests can participate with peace of mind! The food was buffet style and quite delicious. The main sunset was breathtaking! We were able to relax on the boat on our last night! One thing to note... the meeting point is at the local pier, and you cannot park your car at the pier, so be careful. I recommend parking at a nearby pay parking area around Kailua-Kona!

Our first family trip with my spouse and our parents, a total of six people! There wasn't a specific dress code, but many people wore dresses or collared shirts.

Just before the reception, there was a shell lei gift. If you want a lei that looks like a black stone, there is an additional charge. Further ahead, there was a photographer who took pictures and came around to sell them during the show. We declined the photo session and proceeded to the reception.

Unless you pay a special additional fee, you will be guided to seats in front of the stage in the order of reception. Since we arrived just before 5:30 PM, the front seats were already taken, and we ended up in the back. When going to get food, they also guide people to the front seats first. The only soft drink available was fruit punch, and the only other option was lemon water. Since I can't drink alcohol, I would have preferred a more varied drink menu. Our parents enjoyed buying various beers and had a great time drinking.

The food was delicious, and we were all full. The show took place at the beginning and end of the meal. It was a dinner show that was longer and more substantial than we expected, and the whole family was very satisfied.

食事はどれも美味しく満腹になりました。
ショーは食事の最初と最後にありました。思っていた以上に長く中身の詰まったディナーショーで家族みんな大満足でした。

Checked in at the office at 9:30. The staff didn't speak English, but there were pamphlets with explanations in Japanese. We boarded the boat from the pier.

This time, the same boat had two couples, a father and his 8-year-old son, and a group of three elderly men (around 70 years old?). In total, there were four rounds of parachute ascents, with each group having about 15 minutes.

We were the only Japanese people there, but we were able to talk to each other and share the fun. The changes in everyone's expressions when we floated up and when we returned (anxiety, surprise, joy...) were very interesting.

The moment we lifted off was incredibly exhilarating, and it was silent up in the air... it was moving. The staff skillfully operated the boat, lowering the parachute so that our feet dipped into the sea, which added to the fun!

While the other members were up in the air, we enjoyed the speedboat with lively music playing (which felt great in its own way). I'm really glad I participated in this activity.

日本人は私達だけでしたが、お互い声をかけあい、楽しさを共有できました。

浮き上がった瞬間から最高に気持ちがよく、上空は無音で…感動でした…。
うまくボートを操作し、足が海に入る状態にパラシュートを低くしてくれたりして、楽しいことも！
他のメンバーが上空に上がっているあいだも、明るい音楽のもとスピードボートを楽しめました。（こっちはこっちで気持ちがいい。）
このアクティビティに参加できてよかったです。

It was my first time kayaking, but the boarding instructions were explained carefully in Japanese, and although the main guide was a foreigner, there was a Japanese support staff present, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy the experience. The kayak was a two-person one, and the person sitting in the back becomes the leader, so they might have to paddle more often. It felt great to glide over the sea while feeling the wind. The snorkeling was also delightful, as I found the fish swimming around to be quite cute.

I was a bit anxious about having a guide in English, but they demonstrated everything from how to paddle the kayak to how to get in and out. They communicated with gestures, so I hardly had to use English at all.

From the meeting point at the port, we paddled the kayak for about an hour until we reached the snorkeling point, where we had a light snack (like crackers). After enjoying snorkeling for about 40 minutes, we paddled back to the port. It was a lot of fun.

One challenge was finding the meeting place, but in the end, it was at the port in front of the public restroom (the place to launch the kayak).

I arrived early, but along the road, there were locals fishing, and I could only park one car at a distance. When we gathered near the sign at 6:40 AM, we were asked to sign the usual disclaimer stating that they do not guarantee anything and that we are responsible for ourselves.

After that, there was a brief explanation of kayaking, some stretching exercises, and the distribution of life jackets before we quickly entered the sea. There were five of us in total, but without any options, two-person kayaks were provided. Some participants were paired with a guide.

As someone in my 40s and this being my second kayaking experience, I found it challenging to make progress once we were out in the open sea due to the waves, and I kept getting left behind. If you're going on a tour that takes you into a cave, I think you need to be quite prepared for a significant distance to kayak.

In the morning, Mount Farahrai was clearly visible, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. After kayaking, we returned and were lent snorkeling sets, but it felt like we were just told to explore the bay on our own, which isn't suitable for beginners. There weren't many fish, and the water depth was about 5 meters, which was disappointing.

At night, manta rays come to the same spot. The explanation was given by a Japanese woman, but her condescending attitude left a less than favorable impression. The tour was short, ending by 8:30.

カヤックが終わると一度もどりシュノーケルセットを貸し出してもらい勝手に湾内へどうぞという感じのため初心者には向きません。
魚もあまりおらず、水深も5mくらいはあるためがっかりでした。
夜は同じ場所にマンタが来ます。
日本人女性の説明でしたが、上から目線で印象今ひとつでした。8:30には終了の短いツアーでした。

Held in the garden of the Hilton Ocean Tower, by the end of the show, stars were shining above the tall palm trees, and the fatigue from the time difference seemed to dissipate completely.

There were few Japanese people, and many locals... The show that starts with the entrance of Kamehameha was quite good. It wasn't very large, but it was compactly organized, and we could see well. The food was Hawaiian, and it was delicious. The show featured hula dances that told the story of humans being born from taro, hula dedicated to Kamehameha, and hula from various islands like Tahiti and New Zealand... all were skillful and full of highlights. I highly recommend this luau when visiting the Big Island.

日本人が少なくて、地元の方多し。。。カメハメハの入場から始まるショーはなかなかよいです。そんなに広くありませんでしたが、コンパクトにまとまっており、よく見れました。食事もハワイアンフードでしたが、おいしかったです。ショーもタロイモから人間が生まれ、カメハメハに捧げるフラ、そしてタヒチ、ニュージー等々の各諸島のフラ、、どれも上手で見どころ満点でした。ハワイ島の際はぜひおすすめしたいルアウです。

Inside the Kamehameha Beach Hotel, there is a reception booth. After signing in and watching a safety video, we head to the boat.

We board the motorboat and head out to sea, and the beautiful blue sky and ocean are already amazing. There are six passengers, and we each pair up to put on life vests and safety belts. Once the parachute opens, we quickly rise high into the sky without feeling any turbulence. We can see the town of Kailua-Kona clearly. The flight lasted about 10 minutes.

Before we returned, the guide asked if we wanted to land in the water. I replied "no," but since I had worn a swimsuit underneath and took off my shoes just in case I got wet, I ended up getting splashed on purpose! The guide was full of playful spirit.

It was an experience we usually can't have, and my whole family was very satisfied.

We started with a 15-minute lecture about dolphins at the learning center, and then we went to the pool. They provided life jackets and goggles. There were two families of three, making a total of six people in our group. There were a few times we had to wait, but overall, we spent about 30 minutes in the pool, which was longer than we expected, and the kids were satisfied.

Compared to snorkeling tours to see wild dolphins, I think the price is indeed high. We were able to take a lot of photos, but the cost for purchasing the data was $55 for two photos and $155 for all, which is quite expensive. However, I felt it was a good choice since I was scared to take small children out into the ocean.

The fire dance was the only good part.

However, there were very few drink options for the all-you-can-drink, and it took an astonishing amount of time to reach the buffet. Everyone entered early, so it felt like we wasted hours. (Originally, the meal was supposed to start an hour after the drinks, but there were delays and waiting in line.) This was surprising to the point that it couldn't just be brushed off as "because it's overseas."

The crowd was mostly Americans, and everyone seemed to be waiting reluctantly. An American lady next to me shouted, "I'm hungry!"

I went with my husband at the end of July, and since it was a venue that could hold hundreds of people, we left with a wry smile, thinking they must be making quite a profit. The seats I bought were $100 per person. The reviews were quite good, so it was baffling.

7月末に主人と行きましたが、何百人も入る開場なので、相当の儲けだね～と苦笑いしながら帰ってきました。私が買った席は1人100ドルでした。口コミはなかなか良かったので、意味不明でした。

PLEASE READ, IT WILL HELP! Truthfully I was skeptical when the tour started, we were the last boat to the area and the last in the water and you could see everyone getting a little edgy seeing other groups experiencing the odd Manta whilst we were still on deck. The staff kept telling us to relax, it would be great. When we finally got in the water we waited a short while for the first Manta and it is exciting, however we didn’t know what was to come. Their plan worked a treat, the other boats all started to leave as they are
On strict timeframes (although we didn’t realise this with our heads down) and we were swarmed by Mantas. The crew counted 7, I thought there were more but perhaps that was my excitement. These giants come so close you can’t believe they don’t touch you belly to belly as they barrel roll. THIS IS AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE. The crew are very careful not to damage the environment with their anchor placement and so respectful of the Mantas. I cannot recommend this experience or this operator enough.

First, we boarded a six-person boat and headed out to sea. There, we received instructions on how to wear a wetsuit and snorkel. Even though the sea wasn't too rough, the boat was still swaying a bit, and I started to feel a little seasick. After that, they took us to the dolphin point. Since this point is the same as many other tours, there were a lot of Japanese people there (laughs).

There were really many dolphins, and I was able to swim with one that came close. However, just floating on the waves made me feel nauseous, which was tough. After seeing the dolphins, we returned to the original shore for a 15-minute break. During that time, I felt better and really enjoyed snorkeling while watching tropical fish and coral.

Of course, I paid a little over 10% of the fee as a tip at the end.

Wonderful time. Had Kevin and Andre as our guides. They were wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. We were in very good hands. I didn’t listen and left my Apple Watch on when cliff jumping and sure enough it came off. I was sad but it was really my own fault. Kevin took pity on me and was able to find it!! Absolutely above and beyond what I would have expected. Great excursion, lots of fish, fun facts. We felt safe and well looked after the whole time. 10/10 would recommend.
