I have had a few horseback riding experiences on Oahu, but they were just walking tours. Here, we were able to trot a bit in a safe, spacious area. If you're scared, it's perfectly fine to just walk. You can still enjoy it. Other tours had 3-hour courses, but I think this 1.5-hour option is the best time since my backside would start to hurt.

One downside was that it took a while for the toilet tank to fill up because there was only one pipe available.

I participate in the same tour almost every year! I've also gone horseback riding on Oahu, but the Big Island is definitely more enjoyable! Since it's up in the mountains, the weather is often bad, but this year it was clear and perfect. You rarely get to experience such refreshing 90 minutes. After the break, we returned the way we came, and the tour ended. The entire experience was in English, and I didn't understand most of the explanations along the way, but the experience itself was very good!

休憩後、来た道を戻ってツアーは終了です。
全編英語で途中の解説はほぼ分かりませんでしたが、体験自体がとても良かったです！

The atmosphere, gestures, and finally mimicking everyone worked out fine. It was truly a fun time. I will definitely go again, of course as an individual participant!

The rain-soaked grasslands looked beautiful. In the midst of all this, a family of wild pigs, about ten of them, crossed the path like a scene from a movie. The two and a half hours flew by. It was truly a wonderful experience. I really want to go again!

そんな中を映画の一コマみたいに野生の豚の親子が10匹程で横断します。2時間半があっという間にです。本当に素晴らしい体験でした。。

You can enjoy a horseback riding experience in the wonderfully beautiful nature shown in the photos. The horses are all gentle and well-trained, and even as a beginner, I had a great time riding.
There are Japanese versions of the notices and forms available on-site.
The guide speaks only in English, but they talk very slowly and clearly.
Wearing a helmet while riding is optional, but it's best to wear one.

We participated as a family of four with our 9-year-old and 11-year-old elementary school children! It was everyone's first time riding horses, so we were quite nervous, but we were able to enjoy a relaxing horseback ride on well-behaved horses without any major troubles.

The instructions were mainly in English, so the kids participated with almost no understanding, asking, "What are they saying?" But it was manageable. There was a Japanese explanation at the reception that outlined the basic rules, so those who are not confident in English might feel a bit more at ease after reading it. Additionally, if the horses don’t listen, the staff members accompanying us quickly help to correct the situation, which is reassuring.

They also take photos of each group along the way (don’t forget to bring your own camera or smartphone!). The 1.5-hour ride was quite fulfilling. The beautiful scenery of the vast grounds made it a great memory. I recommend this activity as a way to experience the great nature of the Big Island of Hawaii.

1.5時間でかなり乗りごたえがありました。広大な敷地の景色の良さもあっていい思い出になりました、ハワイ島の大自然を感じられるアクティビティとしてオススメです。
