This time, she finished her hamburger for lunch. At the snorkeling point, we encountered a sea turtle. On the way back, dolphins chased the boat.

There were interesting parts, like digging up the pig, but the prices felt too high. The fire dance at Fukushima's Hawaiians is much better. The food wasn't delicious. Also, it rained during our visit, and we got soaked. The hotel parking is only free for three hours. If it were around 5,000 yen, I could somewhat recommend it.

We participated as a couple on our honeymoon trip. Fortunately, we encountered dolphins shortly after setting sail on the boat! We were able to see these wild dolphins up close, which I thought I could only see in an aquarium. It was moving to hear the sounds of dolphins that I had only heard on television! There were times when the dolphins would swim away to take a break, but our guide, Ray, and the captain made an effort to ensure that participants had as much time as possible to interact with the dolphins. I think even those who are not good swimmers can enjoy the experience with the solid support from the guides. I could feel the love for dolphins from both Mr. Nawa and guide Ray, and I definitely want to join this tour again.

友達が海は苦手ということで１人参加しましたが、参加者の方々もフレンドリーで、ガイドのだいすけさんのおかげで心地よく過ごせました！ガイドの方は存じ上げなかったのですが、イルカやクジラさんたちの写真家でもあり、ツアー自体もイルカの気持ちを大事にしている暖かいツアーです。
40分ほどで沖に出るとイルカさんたちがわらわらいました。ガイドの方がイルカとコミュニケーションを取りながら誘導してくれたので、間近で見れましたし、真横にゆっくり！？至近距離で来てくれたイルカさんとジッーと目が合ったときは、感動して涙が出ちゃいました！
回転しながらジャンプするというスピナードルフィンぶりも何度も見せてくれました。イルカの優しさやボートから見る海の美しさに感謝でいっぱいになるツアーです。ハワイ島にきたらまずオススメしたいと思います。(その後、私の感動っぷりに触発された友達が参加しようとしましたが、数日先まで予約が埋まっていたのでお早めに！)

This was the most anticipated activity of our honeymoon. It was incredibly fun and an unforgettable tour that exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Daisuke, had a special connection with the dolphins and truly knew them better than anyone else…! He was so enthusiastic that he even bent the captain's instructions to let us try again, shining with joy more than any other participant that day (laughs). However, that enthusiasm made us participants very happy, and I believe we had a truly valuable experience! There were quite a number of dolphins, and I will never forget the view the moment I put my face in the water! All the other staff members were friendly and wonderful people! I was able to spend a lovely time with the other participants. Thank you so much! If I can visit the Big Island again, I would definitely love to participate again!!

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises

It is hard to know which cruise to book--well this is the one I would go with each time! The crew were knowledgable and respectful! As we came into the bay, their were a pod of spinner dolphins; we kept a respectful distance but we all got to take photos. Then when we pulled into anchor and snorkel, they made sure we knew to keep our distance from where the dolphins were swimming, since the dolphins come to the bay to rest it is even more important for people to give them their space--so impressed with the crew.

The snorkeling was beautiful. The coral was amazing and at many different levels with sooo many different species of fish!! Fabulous!

I gathered at the port, which is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel in Kona! There were so few Japanese people that I felt a sense of relief in an environment where Japanese could be spoken.

At first, we had a hard time finding the dolphin spot and kept cruising around the Waikoloa area. Just when I started to worry, the boat stopped, and we entered the water!

When we dove in at the call of "Here they come!", a large number of dolphins swam towards us!!!! The dolphins, which I usually only see in the aquarium, swam towards us leisurely and happily.

They twirled around, jumped, and swam close together, and it was such a precious experience that was incredibly cute!!! Thank you, Lei and Aki, for sharing so many stories and for being such warm-hearted people. I had a wonderful time! Thank you very much!

I participated in a 150-meter parasailing tour. It was my first experience. I parked my rental car in the public parking lot of the Kamehameha Hotel, where the reception office is located! (After checking in, if you hand over the parking ticket, you can get a discount on parking fees for up to three hours. Don't forget your parking ticket if you park there.)

All communication with the reception staff was in English. The instructions for how to ride and safety guidelines were in Japanese, though. After completing the check-in, I was informed of the meeting time and took a little break.

We headed to the pier, boarded the boat, and set off! The parasailing goes up to about 40 meters high. I thought it would be more windy, but it felt like I was floating gently, and it wasn't scary at all. My friend, who has a fear of heights, was able to ride normally too.

Todd was our guide and he was so professional and was beyond knowledgeable in each area of the tour. He made everyone feel comfortable and was very engaging. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wishing to do something that feels laid back, but covers a lot of ground.

We were the only Japanese people with an English guide. I communicated to our guide, Emi, in English that I didn't understand the language and needed support before boarding. Throughout the trip, she frequently checked in on our health and meal preferences, which made us feel at ease. It was unfortunate that there were guides in the Captain Cook area that I couldn't understand due to the language barrier. However, I was able to enjoy snorkeling at my own pace and had a meaningful experience seeing various fish and corals in two different locations. The meals were served buffet-style, and the hamburger patties were grilled live! The location and delicious aroma were fantastic, and the food was very tasty. Breakfast is provided, but since we gathered at 9 AM and arrived at the first point after departure, I felt a bit nauseous from hunger... In fact, one guest had to return to the port and disembark before heading to the second point due to feeling unwell after entering the water. It might be better for participants to have a little something in their stomachs beforehand.

My mother, who is not fond of water, stayed on the boat the whole time, but she seemed captivated and said, "If they lend out floatation devices in places like this, I think I’ll try going into the sea next time." Emi's voice was very pleasant, making the cruise enjoyable. Since we were staying at the Sheraton Kona, it was also great that we could walk to the meeting point.

水が苦手な母はずっと船上でしたが、「こういう所で浮き具も貸してもらえるなら次は海に入ってみようと思う。」と海中を実際に見てみたいと魅了されたようです。ガイドのエミさんの声も大変耳心地よく気持ちよくクルーズできました。
シェラトンコナに宿泊していたので、徒歩で集合場所まで行けたのも良かったです。

My family and I greatly enjoyed this experience! Even my in laws who just stayed on the boat and watched from above enjoyed the view. These creatures are majestic and beautiful! We saw 8 rays and almost all of them got within a foot of me! I would recommend doing this activity for anyone just remember to take motion sickness meds as sometimes the water is choppy....

While looking at the voucher at the hotel, I realized I had overlooked the part about confirming by phone at 4 PM. We were supposed to check in at a store in the shopping center at 6 PM and gather at the local port at 6:30 PM. We originally planned to have an early dinner near the shopping center, and since I wasn’t confident in my English skills, I went directly to the store before 4 PM, and they helped me with the check-in process then. For those staying at the Sheraton, you can depart from the port, which is just a short walk from the hotel, so you don’t need a car.

This is not a Japanese tour, so the guide spoke entirely in English. The staff were friendly, and we had a lot of fun. There seemed to be an explanation about Captain Cook, but we couldn't understand it due to our zero English skills. (laughs) However, I recommend this tour for those who want to see beautiful seas and fish while snorkeling! The sailing was quite slow, allowing us to feel the great outdoors. Guide was informative and friendly. On time performance and tour went well beyond what I thought was included in the days activities. Great to look at the stars through the telescope and have explanation of the skies (for a novice like me). Ride up and back to the summit of Mauna Kea was bumpy at times and a little daunting but not nearly as difficult as some made it out to be. Elevation did not bother me.

At first, I joined the morning session with lunch included, but since this is my sixth time, I now participate in the afternoon session. The catamaran is comfortable and has a restroom. The Captain Cook monument and the bay right in front of you are truly beautiful, with dense coral and lots of tropical fish! I think this is the best place in Hawaii to see fish clearly. Japanese visitors staying on the Big Island tend to go to other tourist spots, and there are usually only Westerners participating in the snorkeling tours, but I really hope everyone can experience this beautiful underwater world. It was a thoroughly satisfying snorkeling experience!
