集合場所は、ナビの案内で行けました。そんなに判りにくくはありません。集合時間１５分前に着いたら１組が受付を済ませていました。その後、集まり１２名のツアーでした。日本人は妻と２名。４駆でワイピオ渓谷まで移動しましたが、展望台から下の渓谷に降りる路は傾斜がきつく且つ路幅も狭く谷側にフェンスはあるものの、運転を間違えれば崖下へ落下の大事故になるリスクがあります。運転席後ろの席の年配おじさんは、後ろを見て解説する運転手に頭をかかえていました。少し怖いです。渓谷に降り、谷底から見るヒイラヴェ滝と渓谷は絶景です。約３０分で厩舎のある場所に到着し、乗馬ツアー開始です。馬の乗り方について英語でレクチャーがあり、１人１人に馬をあてがわれます。馬の指示は手綱で行いますが、なんとか判りました。いよいよツアーです。馬もよく調教されていて、連なって進みます。乗馬初めての妻は河を渡る時、馬が水を飲み始め止まって困っていましたが、スタッフのフォローでことなし。渓谷の緑と渓流の中を馬で連なって進むのは気持ちよく、非日常の体験でした。１時間ほどの乗馬体験です。馬から降りたら膝が痛かった。妻はなんともないと言ってました。私は５０年前に乗馬経験がありましたが、未経験者でも問題なく乗れるでしょう。おすすめです。

コナから一時間半かけて行きました。
乗馬は初めて、英語もあまりわからないけど、他の方の体験談に重要なとこは日本語でも言ってくれると書いてあったので択びました。

ガイドさんはフレンドリーだし、わんちゃんも一緒に行くので犬好き我が家はそれも癒しでした！

ワイピオ渓谷の谷の空気を感じたかったのでゆったり乗馬しながらの時間は最高でした。
説明がわかったらもっと良かったかなと思いましたが。

馬によってはちょっと、元気な子もいましたが、慣れてる人に充てがわれてたので、経験度を見て選んでくれてるようです。

Grand Circle Island Tour - Volcano, Black Sand Beach, Waipio Valley & Waterfalls

We had a great time on this tour. We were able to see many different places on the island and our tour guide Awana had great knowledge of the island. The tour is a lot of driving but the van is decently comfortable and they have frequent stops to get out and stretch.

If you want a once in a lifetime Hawaiian experience, you have got to plan on this tour...it's hair-raising, heart-stopping & the absolute best day of our vacation...our van driver, Bob, drove us down to the valley in his trusty van, then introduced us to Banjo & Jim who pulled his trusty wagon...we learned alot about the valley, the folks who have lived there & live there now...breath-taking views & fabulous memories...highly highly recommended!

Big Island Highlights Tour - Volcano, Waterfall, Black Sand Beach, Coffee & Wine

My husband and I booked the Deluxe Circle Island Tour with Kailani Tours online @hawaiiactivities.com a few weeks before we left for our 20th anniversary on the Big Island. We loved our driver/tour guide Alana from the beginning...she was so personable, caring and knowledgeable (a former teacher). The Mercedes van was very comfortable for the 7 people on our tour and we were well provided for with plenty of water and snacks (even with my gluten free limitations). The tour was fabulous, from the Kona Joe coffee farm, lunch/tour at Volcanoes Natl Park, amazing Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, all the way to Rainbow Falls (yes, we saw a rainbow there) and beautiful Akaka Falls! It was great to see the highlights of the island at the beginning of our vacation to get the "lei" of the land so to speak, on the Big Island. This way the remainder of our trip could be spent leisurely exploring the Kohala Coast where we were staying. We highly recommend it to everyone!

お天気もよく、気持ちのよい乗馬でした♪
英語があんまり聞き取れないレベルでも、とても楽しめました！
川をわたったり、野生の馬に遭遇したり、現地の人の生活が垣間見れたり、ロングコースで満足のいくライドでした！
行くまでの行程もとてもスリリングでした(笑)
ただ、集合場所のとなりに事務所があったのですが、バウチャーには記載がなかったのでわかりずらかったかなと思います。あと、トイレもそこが最後だったのでちょっと心配になりました。
それ以外は大満足です！

Waipio Shuttle - An Exceptional Guided Sightseeing Tour of Waipio Valley

Great local tour guide kept you entertained along the way while enjoying the breathtaking view of Waipio Valley. Well worthy of the money!

We had a wonderful trip, thanks to our terrific tour guide, Gary! There is only one road down to the valley and up. It is narrow, wet, slippery, and so many sharp turns. Traffic were quite busy in both directions on the day of our trip. Gary apparently is very familiar with the road, and he knows where to stop and wait for the incoming traffic, and when to steer ahead. While maneuvering the shuttle smoothly on a very challenging road, he was busy talking to us about the valley’s history, stories, residents, etc. There are stories everywhere from a tree, a sign, a spring, to a pond. He surely made the trip interesting, even drawing the interest from my younger son who has been bored all the way prior to the tour. The valley scenes are definitely beautiful and breathtaking. You can find all different views with every turn of the road. We took millions of photos. Just be careful don’t drop your phone or camera out of the window. Overall we love the views, and we learned quite a lot from our knowledgeable guide, Gary. I think it is a well worthwhile experience that suits everyone who loves nature and story and who doesn’t have time or energy to go down and up the valley on foot.

The mule ride was really short and could have been done with an extra 15 minutes in the van. We thought we’d see more of the valley. The best views were from the view point that we went to before the tour

WAIPIO lookoutから渓谷を車で下るのもアクティビティのうち。自分に合った馬だと信じ跨がる。神経質な馬らしい。だけど私なら大丈夫。木々を抜け、沢を渡り，ちょっとした坂も登る。ゆっくり。次はギャロップもしてみたい。気持ちの良い時間はあっという間でした。

Great Adventure time!!!

When we decided to go to Big Island, we want to ride horses. So we rented a car and we joined this tour. We worried that we can drive to go there, but we could go easily. This tour was wonderful and we had a great time. We experienced what we can’t experience in Japan( For example, cracking macadamia nuts and eating freshly picked mangoes) before riding horses.
Moreover, cats and dogs which raised on the farm were very friendly and pretty.
We had rides horses at various locations for many times before, but this farm’s horses were very quiet. We enjoyed crossing the river and strolling through the forests while we ride horses. We took many photos.
This adventure was awesome!!!!!!
We want to join this tour again, if we go to Big island.
By the way, “Tex drive in” where the guide recommends. We ordered malasadas no filling, chocolate and custard cream. This restaurant’s malasadas were very delicious.

ガイドさんの丁寧で優しすぎる日本語（英語の中で少しだけ入る）に感動し、乗馬の説明もゆっくりと分かりやすく、乗ってからは人に慣れた馬に体を任せて、その周りには3匹の犬が一緒に回るなんて最高でした。
1時間以上も乗馬していて、楽しくて楽しくて本当に自然も最高で大満足でした

渓谷で水、緑、良い景色、野生のフルーツに囲まれた乗馬ツアーです

英語ツアーとのことで、ちょっと緊張しましたがどうにかなる感じでした。
最初に集合場所で誓約書的なものを記入し、危険に関する説明などを受けてバンに乗ってワイピオ渓谷へ向かいます。説明の中ではリュックサックなどはバランスを崩して落馬する可能性があるのであまりお勧めできないとのこと。私も車において手ぶらで行きました。ある程度体に密着するようなバッグなら大丈夫そうです。
馬のところに着いたら、インストラクターが乗り方を説明してくれます。そのあと各自に馬を引き合わせてくれて乗ります。参加したときは日本人7～8人、アメリカ人6～7人の15名くらいのメンバーだったので引き渡しに20分くらいかかった印象です。私は最初に乗ったので馬がアチコチ動き回って草を食べたりしてなかなか面白かったです。
出発してからは川を渡ったり、山道を歩いたり。
ガイドさんが道端に生っている果物を都度説明してくれて興味深かったです。
およそ２時間くらい乗馬して帰ってくる工程です。
参加するときはスニーカーなどの履きなれて汚れてもよい靴、濡れてもよいジーンズやハイキング用のズボンとシャツで行かれるとよいです。また馬が木の枝の下などに頭を突っ込むのでできれば長袖の方が擦り傷など付かなくてよいと思います。

帰ってきました。

かなりの急斜面を上り下りしますが、これはワゴンで行きます。
私は足があまり丈夫でないので、こちらを選んでよかったです。ワゴンの助手席に座ったのですが、素晴らしい景色がとても良く見え、写真にも収められました。馬車には、緑色の美しいトカゲ、ゲッコーが何匹も乗っていました。運転してくれているおじいさんは、いろんな知識があるので、質問してみるといいです。谷底には、自分の車で行くのは無理だと思います。相当の急傾斜です。馬さんたちが、非常に賢くて、感動しました。乗ってよかったです！！

家族の意向でワイピオ渓谷の乗馬を予約しました。
送迎がないことと英語のみということで少し不安でしたがGoogleマップのナビで問題なくたどり着き、ジェスチャーと簡単な単語で体験してきました。
自分たちではいけない大自然の中での乗馬は本当に最高でした。期待してた以上の満足度、行く機会があればまたこちらのツアーに参加したいです！

The tour was nice and Big Island is beautiful, but our tour guide gave an extensive history of Big Island which felt removed and disconnected from what we were seeing. The guide was asked multiple times from other people on the tour about things they had noticed during the tour but the guide was stuck on the historical narrative and refused to talk about "politics", yet the questions being asked were quite simple and relevant to what we were seeing. He was very knowledgeable but it made for a very tiring and boring ride. It would be great if he could break up the historical narrative with some more present-day information about Big Island.

Guided Waipio Valley Horseback Riding & Waterfall Tour [Closed]

What a marvelous adventure! This is my second time. The first time I did it with my local friend and my older grand daughter. It was stellar and why we opted do do it yet again. This time I brought my 2 grand girls (13 & 16). One is a good rider, one a beginner. Both of them had a marvelous time and had wonderful horses. I'm an advanced rider and loved my horse and the entire experience. The guides are a delight and taught me much I didn't know about the valley and it's contents and history, even though I already knew quite a bit. I can't say enough about how perfect the experience was. I'll do this ride again and again, every time I come to the island. I could not have been more pleased with everything about this adventure.

スタッフも親切で馬もお利口さんです。馬も違う馬とも好き嫌いがあるみたいでスタッフも説明してくれました。最後に自然に生えているスターフルーツ、マンゴーを食べさせてもらったが最高においしかった。

現地集合で英語のみということで不安なところもありましたが、素晴らしかったです。乗馬はもちろん、ワイピオ渓谷というロケーションが最高でした。ガイドさんも陽気な方々で、途中マンゴをもぎ取りもてなしてくれるなど、とても楽しませてくれました。もちろん乗馬の時間も十分あり、素敵なツアーでおすすめです。場所は分かりにくそうでしたが、レンタカーでGoogle マップで十分でした。

This horseback riding experience was so amazing! The guides were very experienced and there were experienced riders and first-timers in our group. Each participant was treated individually and to their level of comfort and experience! We rode through creeks and foliage and the slightest rainfall...it was a beautiful ride and gorgeous environment. The guides told us the history of the island and the Hawaiians who settled the valley...we also saw the wild horses along the way. Magical experience! 5-star!

英語力が心配で楽しめるかな？っていう不安がありましたが、大丈夫。
難しい事は何もなく、よく慣れているお馬さんにお任せで景色や植物を見て散歩してきました。コースがUターンじゃなければ尚よろしいと思ったのですが、仕方がないみたい。どのツアーも同じような感じですれ違いました。
レンタカーが有れば、カーナビの助けも借りてドライブしながら簡単に到着出来ました。
日本語・送迎付きプランと迷いましたが、料金格安のこちらのツアーはお勧めです。
集合時間にスタッフが遅れてくる所は外国人らしさのご愛嬌という事で。

Guided Waipio Valley Horseback Riding & Waterfall Tour [Closed]

Tried with older parents. Great experience

Once in lifetime trip with my parents (both in 70s but fit). We went to the ranch (a little hard to find), drove down with the guides in a 4 wheeler......quite a drive. A very scenic but bumpy 30 minute ride to stables, another 30 minutes to get the whole party mounted up on horseback, and then a leisurely 2+ hours trek through magical lush green landscape, splashing through streams and seeing wild horses grazing, surrounded by towering cliffs and occasional waterfalls.

Only issue -- you won't really hear the guides once you start going. So do some reading up on Waipio vallyet beforehand, and then just enjoy what you are seeing. My mom has never been on horseback, my dad maybe 40 years ago, and they did just fine.

息子・娘の家族と一緒に、三代の家族7人で参加しました。
1歳の子供でも参加できるツアーで、馬車に乗ってワイピオ渓谷の魅力を堪能しました。
渓谷を横切るせせらぎや自然のままの木々、青空の下での美しい風景は強く印象に残りました。
馬車に乗って、渓谷の中を見て回るだけでなく、ワイピオ渓谷を襲った津波の話や現在渓谷に住んでいる人たちの生活の様子を御者の女性から聞くことができました（英語なので、不完全ながら）。
三本の滝が見られるかと期待していたのですが、雨が降らないと現れないとのこと、今回のツアーでは見られませんでした。
ツアーの後、渓谷の上の展望台に車で戻って、上からの美しい景色も満喫しました。

渓谷なので電波が全く入りません。
voucher表示できなかったけど、ちゃんと参加できました。ワイピオに行くならvoucherはプリントアウトしとくべきですね。
ツアーは感動の連続でした。絶景の中の乗馬。また行きたいです。私が乗馬したホロホロ元気かなぁ

受け付けの場所も分かりにくいのにWifiまで通じなくて凄く困りました。やっと着いたのに待つ場所もなくてワイピオ渓谷に行くために乗ったワゴンは暑すぎて後ろの外国人がサウナみたいと苦情を言うほど最悪…馬車のツアーも全然面白くないし、なんでお金を払って貴重な時間をかけてこんなツアーをやるなんてと思うほど最悪でした。絶対にオススメしたくないです

Waipio Valley Waterfalls & Horseback Riding Tour with Naalapa Stables [Closed]

Thank you it was a nice experience to ride in the valley. We did this for our anniversary the only thing I would like to have done is ride side by side with my husband.
But we had a wonderful time.

ワイピオ渓谷　乗馬ツアー　＜午前・午後／英語ガイド＞ by ワイピオ・オン・ホースバック

ワイピオオンホースバックの納屋を探すのに苦労しました。道路右手に看板があると思ったら、実際は左手。気づかず通り過ぎて展望台まで行ってしまいました。ホノカアから240号で11マイル先、展望台から2マイル手前です。
納屋で集合した後、ワイピオ渓谷を4WDで20分下ります。荷物は極力持たないようにとのことでしたのでレンタカーに置いていきました。
8名の英語ツアーに参加しましたが、日本人が6名でしたのでガイドの方はアブナイ、ヒダリとかカタコトの日本語で話してくれます。ただ書類やツアー中の木々の説明は全て英語です。途中で写真も撮ってくれるのでカメラは必須です。移動する4WDは鍵をかけないとのことでしたので、貴重品はだめですがドリンクは持参すればよかったと思いました。
乗馬の時間は1時間くらいです。足場の悪い道や流れの速い川を馬は平然と渡って行きます。普段経験出来ないことなので、大変楽しかったです。
