Reviewed by: Reif family, 2022/07/12The boat fit the 5 of us plus crew perfectly with space. Captain Bambi and Mason were knowledgeable and took us to see the parrots and goats while we were waiting for the sun to set and mantas to come out. Those lighted surfboard really attracted the mantas, and the pool noodles helped keep our feet up. FYI be prepared to do the Superman pose holding the surfboard. Get a good arm work out. We saw at least 5, one even touched my youngest, which scared her but no harm. I wish the surf boards would have a camera to record all the mantas but otherwise great trip!

Mantra Ray Night Dive
Reviewed by: Ella , 2017/11/30Steven and Shawn were amazing captain and guide. Provided us with an amazing tour and really great snorkeling spots around the area! The tour time is perfect to catch sunset and then it gets dark so the water lights up beautifully in the dark. The waves in the ocean are a bit rough so going on an empty stomach is adviseable. We saw 5 manta rays on our expedition. Definitely an attraction to do on the Big Island!! And Kona Ocean Experience is a great company that hosts this amazing experience!!
