Wonderful Food!

This was touristy but still the best luau on the island . . . food was great, entertainment wonderful, and some time allowed for wandering the grounds and taking photos. I enjoyed the ceremony involved with digging out the pig from the pit.

Relaxing

This was a leisurely, relaxing trip. Unfortunately, much of the grotto's surrounding area was washed out by heavy rains in 2006 so you can't walk up the path and enter the grotto as you could before. We had to stay on the viewing platform beneath, and all the trees that used to shade it were lost so the sun was beating down on us. You can still get some fairly good photos, though.

Unique and Challenging

This is a day-long somewhat physically challenging adventure, with a little bit of everything for the physically active adventure seeker. There is a lot of uneven hiking terrain involved, so just make sure you're physically up to the conditions.

Fantastic!

This was my single most fun experience of Kauai and a definite must for anyone who wants to have some memorable fun! The staff members were wonderful - knowledgeable, friendly, informed, and safety-focused while making sure everyone had a great time.
