Prince Kuhio - Nice & Affordable Dinner Cruise in Waikiki

Posted on: 2018/06/05

It's a nice and relaxing dinner cruise. The price is great and they have free pick-up from Waikiki. I had dinner on the top deck and the views from Waikiki are amazing. The food was good and the steak was freshly grilled for us. We got welcome drinks and there are other drinks available for purchase. The boat is spacious and the crew was very friendly. They played local music, there's a hula girl, ukulele player and even fire knife dance at the end. Thank you Capt. Chuck & Capt. Tiger for being such great hosts, my friend and I had a great time at the Prince Kuhio.

Great and relaxing boat cruise in Waikiki!

Posted on: 2018/06/05

I love cruising with Hawaiian Glass Bottom Boat. This was my 3rd time on the boat and I plan to come back many more times.Nothing better than cruise along Waikiki enjoying a few beers with friends while watching the sunset. The price is great, the crew is always friendly and professional and you can really feel the aloha spirit. If the ocean conditions are good you can even see the marine life from their glassbottom viewing area.
What I also like about this boat is that this is a nice option for anyone who does not want to go on the crowed booze cruises from Waikiki.

Great Snorkel & Dolphin Cruise

Posted on: 2018/06/05

I had a blast with Dolphins & You, the cruise was fantastic! The crew was fun, prompt, courteous, engaging and entertaining. We saw a lot of dolphins and they were swimming right next to us. What an amazing feeling it is to be so close to such lovely creatures.
The west side coast is so beautiful, the mountains and the ocean... every where you look you makes you want to take pictures! The snorkel part was also great and for lunch we had a delicious burger.
The boat is so much fun, when they stop on the second snorkel location you also have the chance to play with the water toys, they have water slide stand-up paddle and kayaks.
Even though it might seem like the west coast is far away from Waikiki, it's totally worth the trip. This tour has free pick-up from most of Waikiki hotels and the snorkel spots are much better than the ones in Waikiki. I highly recommend this dolphin cruise to everyone!

Mahalo for your 5-Star review! As we like to say, the West side is the BEST side! We absolutely agree that snorkeling is more beautiful and exciting on the West side of Oahu, and the views of the Waianae Mountain Range make it even more of a 360-degree experience. As you noted, transportation is complementary from 10 pick-up locations in Waikiki and Ko Olina. Thank you for recommending our tour, and we'd love to host you again some time! Please check out our other tours - Nature and You or Island and You - if you're still in the area.

Best Island Tour on Oahu

Posted on: 2018/06/04

OMG! I had so much fun on this tour. My friend and I were looking for an island that would give us more time to actually enjoy the island instead of being "trapped' inside a bus only taking pictures all day. From my research i think this is the only tour that your can visit North Shore & Hanauma Bay on the same day. Perfect for me, since I only had a few days on the island.

We were pick-up on time from Waikiki and then we drove straight to North Shore. Our first stop was at Banzai Pipeline, we visited during winter time when the waves are big and were lucky to watch the locals surfing the most beautiful waves I've ever seen. Next, we spent about 1 hour at Waimea Bay where we had time to take pictures, enjoy the beach and body board. For lunch we headed to Tsue's Farms where we had a delicious shrimp plate and got the chance to kayak at a river in Haleiwa. It was so peaceful and beautiful, the river is surrounded by tropical trees and you almost feel like you are in a jungle. The best part? We saw tons of turtles in the river, amazing!
We also got the chance to visit at Dole Pineapple Plantation. The guide told us to try the Dole Whip, and it was so good and refreshing.
The last stop of the day was my favorite! Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay was the highlight of my trip. I've never swim around so many fishes before, the sea life at this bay is surreal.

This tour has it all! Friendly and knowledgeable driver and guides, flexible schedule and tons of things to do during the day. You really get to see the best of Oahu in one day. My day was filled with adventures. Thank you North Shore Beach Bus for helping me to create memories of a life time!

Toa Luau at Waimea Valley (Add to your Bucket list)

Posted on: 2018/06/04

I had a amazing time with Toa Luau, food, drinks & show are great. It's a very family oriented luau and the location is beautiful. The good thing about being far from Waikiki, is that you can skip the crowds from the other shows and get a more personal experience.

I really enjoyed the pre-luau activities, they let us be part of dinner preparation and we learned how to make some traditional Polynesian dishes. They let us peel taro, green banana, they showed us how make flower leis & how to use palm leafs to make headbands, baskets and hats. We played Polynesian games and had the chance to play some musical instruments too. Kids and adults were having so much fun! I believe this is the only luau where you can experience a Kava Cerimony, one of the most iconic cultural traditions in Fiji.

I've been to other luaus before, but this one felt different. I didn't feel as a tourist. The staff makes you feel like you are part of their family and that they are inviting you for a real party at their home, so it made the evening really special.
Another good thing is that it includes admission to Waimea Valley. We arrived earlier and were able to enjoy the botanical garden and of course, swim at the most famous waterfall on Oahu. There are changing rooms available at the park so you can get ready for the luau.

I recommend this luau for everyone who is looking for a real luau experience and wants to learn more about the beautiful Hawaiian & Polynesian culture. Absolutely loved it!

Aloha, and mahalo nui for spending some time to shower us with your kind words. The fact that you remember the key parts of the luau made us all feel that you had the best time and it is our hope that we'd see you again when you come back to Oahu

Magical Experience

Posted on: 2017/12/15

Orlando is one of my favorite vacation destinations, there are some many things to do in this city. I've been to most of the attractions there, but by far the Hot Air Balloon ride was one the best experiences I've ever had in my life. Watching the sunrise while soaring over the orange groves was just magical. Everything was perfect and the crew made us feel very safe. What a great way to start the day, I highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Orlando.

Great way to experience the Volcanoes National Park!

Posted on: 2017/09/27

Let me start saying one thing - Kilauea Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes on Earth and it's definitely a MUST SEE & DO if you are visiting Hawaii. I think everyone should explore the Volcanoes National Park as much as they can, and since I've hiked hiked the most popular sights before, this time I decided to get the bird's eye view from Kilauea.

From start to finish Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was very professional and delivered a great service. After the check-in we watched a video about safety and what to expect on the tour. Due to the weather conditions my original flight was cancelled, however I was able to reschedule to a later time. It was worthy the wait! The aircraft was modern, very comfortable, large windows and the pilot was excelled and very experienced. He not only made us feel safe, but also shared a lot of interest facts about Hawaiian geology and history.

We flew over dozens of waterfalls and over the most recent lava flows and it was crazy to see how close the lava got to some houses couple of years ago. The most incredible part thou was for sure seeing the lava flowing into the ocean and watching the bubbling lava lake inside the Pu'u 'O'o Crater (which you can only see if you are doing an air tour).

I will never stop sharing these incredible memories with everyone around me.
Thank you VELTRA & Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for the amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour, whether you are visiting the island just for a day or more, make sure to include a helicopter flight on your wish list.

Celebrating our 1st year anniversary

Posted on: 2017/08/31

I went to Paradise Cove luau with my husband and I had a wonderful time.
Before serving the food there are a lots of different activities & games that you can participate and learn about the Hawaiian Culture. It was really cool to see them climbing the coconut tree and to play the hawaiian games. I even got a fake Polynesian tattoo!
The food was delicious, the buffet offers a huge selection and there are option for all kinds of tastes. The drinks are nice too.
I was afraid of not being able to see the show very well but my seats were really good. The show is very entertaining and the dancers are very talented. My favorite part was the fire-knife dancing!
Overall it was very pleasant and romantic evening! The location is beautiful and you can take great sunset pictures! Thank you VELTRA for helping me set up the perfect night to celebrate my 1st year anniversary!

Best Adventure Ever! Best way to see the all sides of Kilauea Volcano.

Posted on: 2017/04/06

This was by far the coolest thing I ever done in my life. Nothing compares to see an active volcano and watch the power of creation right before you eyes.

Excellent service from start to finish. The vehicles are clean and comfortable. The food was substantial for the duration of the tour. For lunch we had an nice picnic lunch at Volcanoes National Park with delicious deli-sandwiches. For dinner we stopped at a local restaurant in Pahoa town with good options for everyone. Inside the van they also carry a cooler and a basket full of snacks and drinks.

The guides were professionals, punctual, courteous and knowledgeable.
Amanda did a wonderful job of blending geography, history and culture. We learned about the flora and fauna native to the area, as well as plants and animals brought to the island. We also learned about the past and recent eruptions.

Inside the Volcanoes National Park we visited Jagger museum and Halema’uma’u Crater. We also had fun seeing the steam vents. The Iki Crater Trail is a nice and easy hike through the rainforest and after that we walked through Thurston Lava Tube.

After leaving the park we drove by Pahoa Town and I was very impressed to see how close the lava flow got to this little town in 2015 / 2016. We had dinner and then we drove to Kalapana for the best part of the day.

Nui Pohaku offers the shortest hike to the viewing point where the lava is flowing to the ocean. it was an easy 30 to 40 min walk until the end of the trail. Walking right next to the lava fields was an amazing experience and witness the explosive power of the volcano pouring lava to the ocean was unbelievable.

As the sun sets the colors change and you see the eruption getting crazy bright shades of orange, red and yellow. Once the sun is down they give you flashlights to help the hike back tot he car and we were blessed with an awesome stargazing.

Everything was as promised...and better!

Best sunset tour

Posted on: 2016/11/29

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Spirit of Aloha!
The departing location is very convenient and we could just walk from our our hotel. The check-in was fast and after we boarded the Captain gave us a safety briefing and we started the sail.
The appetizers were good, they have a small buffet line with wings, meatballs and dried snacks. The bar has a selection of draft beer, champagne and cocktails and the prices are very reasonable. Watching the sunset in Hawaii listening to good music, cocktails and friends was the highlight of trip. The views from Waikiki are amazing and at this time of the year, after the sunset we still got to sail under the starts and it was very relaxing. Make sure to include this cruise on your next trip to Hawaii!
