I've been to Hawaii many times, but this time, since it was a trip just for the two of us without kids, we decided to check out Blue Note Hawaii, which we had been curious about for a while. It was unfortunate that we couldn't see Air Supply, who had a live performance the following week, but we still enjoyed a wonderful Hawaiian night filled with a mature atmosphere at Spyra Jaira. The tour included one drink and tips, so I thought there wouldn't be a bill, but lacking English skills, I ended up paying with my card for the bill the waitress brought. However, after returning home, I contacted VELTRA, and they responded very politely, and to my surprise, they arranged for a refund. I didn't think getting a refund would be possible, but I was truly impressed by their attentive responses and the numerous emails I received. I definitely want to participate in the tour again. Thank you very much! ♪

Originally, I was planning to see a hula dance show. There are various types of hula, and while I was unsure, I discovered Auana. I was intrigued by the fact that it was a newly released program that could only be seen in Hawaii, so I made a reservation. It had a somewhat circus-like image. However, when the show started, there was a story as well. The best seats were sold out, so I reserved the second-best option, which turned out to be the front row on the right side with my back to the stage. People of all ages can enjoy it. If you have time in your schedule, I definitely think you should see it.

Regarding the handling of the options, I made a reservation through Veltra, but the staff struggled to understand the meaning of the voucher. Even though one drink is free with the admission fee, they asked for payment. The voucher clearly states that it's free. I hope Veltra and Blue Note staff can coordinate better on this matter. Check-in was at 5 PM, and we were given three drink tickets per person and shown to our seats. Although the front row was fully booked at the time of reservation and we had the basic plan, we were seated at a two-person table on the edge of the third row, which had a good view. The waiters came by at just the right times to take drink orders and even offered to take photos, providing a pleasant service experience. At the end, the two leftover drink tickets were exchanged for cute paper packs of mineral water to take home.

During the time from check-in to the show, we observed the making of kapa and poi. The kapa-making demonstration had a bit of a line, but it was organized into small groups, and even if you didn't understand English, it was fun to see the cute hula girls up close. There was no making of na lawaia, but instead, there was a corner where they stamped your arm with a tattoo-like design. The show was scheduled to start at 7 PM, but in reality, singing and hula began around 6 PM and ended by 8:40 PM. It was nice that we could take photos with the performers at the end. Compared to the Hilton show I attended previously, the stage was smaller, but at the Hilton, there were a lot of people, leading to long lines for check-in, a buffet-style meal with more waiting, and shared large tables. Personally, I found this experience to be more satisfying.

17時にチェックイン、1人3枚のドリンクチケットを渡されて席に案内されました。予約時に前列確約が満席で基本プランでしたが、3列目端の２人席で見やすくてよかったです。ドリンクもウエイターがタイミングよく聞きに来てくれたり写真を撮ってくれたり、気持ちの良いサービスでした。最後に2枚余ったドリンクチケットはお持ち帰り用のかわいいミネラルウォーター紙パックと交換してくれました。チェックインからショーまでの時間はカパ作りやポイ作りを見学。カパ作りは少し並んで小グループごとに説明してくれる形式で英語がわからなくてもかわいいフラガールのお姉さん達を間近に見られて楽しかったです。ナ・ラワイア作りはなく、代わりに腕にタトゥーのようなのスタンプを押してくれるコーナーがありました。ショーは19時からと書いてありましたが、実際には18時台から歌やフラが始まり、20:40には終了でした。退場時に舞台出演者と写真が撮れるようになっていたのもよかったです。以前参加したヒルトンのショーに比べると小さめのステージでしたが、ヒルトンは人数が多くてチェックインに長蛇の列、食事はビュッフェに並びドリンクも取りに行かなければならず、席は大きなテーブルで相席だったので、自分的にはこちらの方が満足度が高かったです。
