We were with children, but we enjoyed ourselves without any seasickness! The captain was kind to the kids, which made us feel safe and allowed us to have a great time.

I had a great time challenging myself with my grandchild and another person. I asked for the departure location, but I was given directions to an unrelated area. When the time came, I returned to the reception to ask again, and to my surprise, it was right next door. I was told to go to the Atlantis boarding area, and the guidance was unacceptable.

孫と３人で挑戦でとても楽しかったです。
出発の場所を聞いたのに関係ない方角を教えられ、時間が来てしまったので受付まで戻り聞くとびっくりです。隣でした。アトランティス乗り場をおしえられ、案内が悪かったのはありえませんでした。

Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our trip. There were three groups on board, including us, and as we headed offshore, it seemed that we accidentally dropped the parachute into the sea while trying to spread it out, causing a bit of a scramble to retrieve and re-spread it.

We were the first group, but because of the drop, seawater dripped down the parachute lines after we ascended, making our eyes and faces hurt.

Also, for some reason, we were facing away from Waikiki Beach instead of towards it during the flight, so we couldn't enjoy the scenery much.

The other two groups didn’t get as wet and were able to enjoy the view towards the beach, which made us envious.

Additionally, I found that I wasn't as comfortable on the boat as I had expected, so overall, I didn't enjoy it very much. My husband seemed to enjoy the boat ride, though.

当日はあいにく曇天でした。自分たち含め3組で乗船し、沖合に向かっていき、パラシュートを広げる時に誤って？海に落としてしまったようで慌てて回収して広げなおしていました。
私たちは1組目だったのですが、海に落としてしまったせいで上昇してからパラシュートの紐づたいに海水がしたたり落ちてきて目や顔が痛かったです。

また、飛んでいる間、なぜかワイキキビーチ向きでなく沖合向きになっていたのでほとんど景色を楽しめませんでした。

そのあとの2組はあまり濡れることもなく、ビーチ側向きで楽しめていたのでうらやましかったです。

また、私は船が思ったより苦手だったので総合的にあまり楽しめませんでした。
旦那さんは船の移動含めて楽しめているようでした。

It was so much fun!! The sky felt close, I could see the mountains, and right below was the ocean. Participating with my friends made it an unforgettable memory.

とっても楽しかったです！！空が近く、山も見えて、真下は海で、友達と参加できたことが、忘れられない思い出になりました。

I used this experience for my honeymoon. I have a fear of heights, but since my husband enjoys this kind of thing, I looked at other people's reviews and decided to try it at 150 meters.

There were two American couples and two Japanese couples participating. The boat had one driver and one staff member. As soon as we got on the boat, we placed our bags and shoes under the seats. I kept my smartphone on a strap around my neck.

After we set off, the staff started talking, but everything was in English, so honestly, since we’re not very good at English, we were a bit confused and just followed along as they helped us put on our safety belts and life jackets. We swayed for a few minutes. I intended to take motion sickness medicine, but I forgot that day and desperately stared at the distant scenery.

We were the last group, so we first watched the others jump. They quickly became small, and as someone with a fear of heights, I felt a bit of regret. While the other groups were experiencing it, the boat was moving at quite a speed when suddenly the staff shouted, "Whale!" Looking over, we saw the spout and tail of a whale near where the boats had gathered! I was so lucky to be able to do whale watching for free; it was amazing!

Then it was our turn, and since we had to go, we ascended. I thought it might be scary to float up, but it was okay. We slowly rose up. Since we were over the sea, the boat gradually became smaller. It was somewhat scary, but the breathtaking view made up for it. I thought it might be scarier, but it was more manageable than I expected. My husband was next to me taking lots of pictures.

Up in the sky, it was very quiet, just our little world. The floating time was about five minutes. Just when I was starting to get used to it, I realized we were going down. The descent was also slow, so it wasn’t scary. When we landed, my backside got a little wet.

This is such a rare experience with an incredible view, and even with my fear of heights, I highly recommend it!!!

同じような方の参考になればと書かせていただきます。

アメリカ人2組、日本人2組の参加でした。
ボートには運転手1人とスタッフ1人。
まずボートに乗ってすぐ荷物や靴は座席の下にいれます。スマホはストラップで首にかけた状態でいました。
出発してスタッフが話されますが全て英語なので正直英語が得意でない私たちは？？？という感じでなされるままに安全ベルト？とライフジャケットを装着。
そのまま揺られること数分。酔い止めを飲むつもりですが当日忘れてしまい、必死に遠くの景色眺めてました。
私たちは最後の組でまず他の人が飛ぶのを見守りました。一気に小さくなって人影に高所恐怖症の私は少し後悔笑
他の組が体験している間、ボートはかなりのスピードで走っていますが、急にスタッフが「ホエール！」と。みると船が集まってた近くに鯨の潮と尾鰭がみえました！
まさかタダでホエールウォッチングできるとは、とても幸運で最高でした！

そして自分たちの番、行くしかないのでいざ、浮上。
浮く時怖いかなと思いましたが大丈夫でした。ゆっくりゆっくり浮上していきます。海の上なのでボートがだんだん小さくなって行く感覚。
多少は怖かったです笑。手は絶対離さなかったです。ただそれを上回る絶景が広がってました。
もう少し怖いかと思いましたが、予想よりかはいけました。旦那は隣でパシャパシャ写真撮ってました。。。
空の上はとても静かで２人の世界です。
浮いている時間は大体５分くらい。ようやく慣れようとする頃に気づいたら下がっていってます。下がる時もゆっくりなので怖くありません。着水するときお尻まで少し濡れました。
こんな滅多にない絶景での体験、高所恐怖症ではありますが、とってもおすすめです！！！

I wasn't able to get a photo taken. I was told something in English, but I couldn't understand it. It felt a bit unkind! It's very disappointing that I don't have any memories from this experience.

It was an affordable price, but with beautiful scenery and lovely boats, I was satisfied because I saw whales twice. Even when I got motion sickness, they responded quickly.

お手頃な値段だけど、綺麗な景色、綺麗なボートで、クジラが2回も見れたので、満足です。乗り物酔いになってしまった時も、素早い対応をしていただきました。

I participated with my middle school daughter and my sixth-grade son. My daughter was scared and only joined us on the boat, but she was encouraged to fly if she felt like it, and it seems she had a great time on the boat. The guide took many photos with my daughter's smartphone, so it was fine not to purchase any.

Since there were only three groups, we quickly got our turn. Before we knew it, we were up in the sky, enjoying the blue ocean and the wonderful scenery! You can store your belongings under the seats, and the access is great, allowing you to make the most of your time there, so I highly recommend it.

中学生の娘、小学六年生の息子と参加しました。
娘は怖くて船上だけの付き添い参加でしたが、気分が変わったら飛んでいいよと沢山話しかけて貰い、船上で楽しい時間を過ごしたようです。
写真は娘のスマホでガイドさんが沢山撮ってくださり、購入しなくても大丈夫でした。

3組だけだったので、すぐに順番が。
あっという間に空に上がり、青い海と素晴らしい景色を楽しむ事が出来ました！
荷物は椅子の下に置けますし、何よりアクセスが良くて現地時間を有効に使う事ができるのでおすすめです。

It was my first time surfing, but the instructor was skilled, and I was able to succeed right away. There were also staff members who spoke Japanese, including Yamazaki, which was very helpful. Hula, hula.

初めのサーフィンでしたが、インストラクターの肩が上手で、すぐに成功することができました。ヤマザキをはじめとして日本語が話せるスタッフもいて、とても助かりました。ふらんすあ、ふらんすあ。

I booked this activity in the middle of my 3-night, 5-day trip.

To put it simply, I’m glad I experienced it!

Reasons include:
- The staff were entertaining.
- The speed of the boat to the parasailing point and during the parasailing was incredible!
- I was surprised by the flow of getting lifted into the air from the boat!
- While parasailing, I was a bit scared of the height, but the view was breathtaking.

If you're interested, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, but I still had a great time! I think even those with a fear of heights won't find it too scary since it's over the sea! The sea breeze feels nice, and the driver, who was quite energetic, made it even better!

Great time parasailing. The boat crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! The check in process was very smooth, and they even offer photo services which is a great idea

My elderly mother was able to relax and enjoy a comfortable time without worry. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was stunning against the blue sky.

天候にも恵まれて、４組で陽気なインストラクターで素晴らしい思い出になりました。

The people were fantastic and the fishing was great! My son (10) and I had a blast! My son also really enjoyed seeing whales and sea turtles on our trip. We highly recommend this excursion for anyone!

I used this for my honeymoon. The weather was perfect on the day, and with calm winds, we had a stunning view of Diamond Head and the entire Maunalua Bay area, creating the best memories.

*Since the boat is small, it does sway quite a bit (which is fun too), but if you are prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is a must. It takes a bit of time to get out to sea.

The parasailing time is 6-7 minutes, but it was thrilling enough, so it felt like plenty of time.

The captain and the pilot were both very cheerful and unique, making for a fun experience throughout!

ハネムーンで利用しました。当日は天気に恵まれ、風も落ち着いた中、ダイヤモンドヘッドからマワラ湾一帯を一望でき、最高の思い出になりました。

※船が小型のため、なかなか揺れます(それも楽しいですが)乗り物酔いしやすい方は酔い止め必須です。
沖に出るまでそれなりに移動します。

パラセイル時間は6-7分ですが、スリル満点のため、十分な時間でした。

I signed up for a plan with my family for 5 people. Since it was my first time trying SUP, I booked a private lesson. In the first 5 to 10 minutes, we received explanations on how to hold the paddle, how to get on the board, and how to stand, and then we headed to the sea. After that, it felt like we were practicing on our own.

On the day, the wind was strong, making it difficult for beginners to stand and paddle. While sitting on the board, the instructor helped us ride the waves, and even though we struggled, we managed to have fun. However, I didn't feel like I received much of a lesson.

Also, I thought the photos were quite expensive. It was $30 per person, totaling $150 for 5 people, with each person getting about 10 photos (including similar ones).

This is one of the most thrilling activities I have done in my decades of traveling to Hawaii. Such an incredible value! The crew was amazing. Riding the waves as you take in the majestic views of Waikiki made my birthday morning memorable. Thank you so much!

My spouse and I tried surfing for the first time together. Initially, we just hoped to be able to stand up by the end of the lesson, but surprisingly, I managed to stand up on my first attempt. After repeating it several times, I was even able to strike a pose while standing by the end. Thanks to the cheerful and kind staff, we enjoyed this quick activity immensely.

It was also fun to communicate with participants from various countries while surfing (even if you can't speak English, it's fine to go with the flow; they will cheer you on if you catch a wave well). Additionally, there’s an option to have the day's activities filmed (with drone footage and photos), which I highly recommend for taking home memories.

You can store your belongings in lockers, so it's convenient during your travels. I participated right after climbing Diamond Head early in the morning, and it was no problem at all. The area around the surfing lesson has shallow waters with some rocks, so it might be good to have band-aids and disinfectant just in case.

夫婦揃って初めてのサーフィンに挑戦しました。
当初は、レッスンの最後までに立ち上がれるようになればいいくらいの気持ちで参加しましたが、なんと1回目で立ち上がることに成功。
その後も何度も繰り返して、最後の方には立ち上がってポーズを決めることができるまでになりました。
明るく親切なスタッフの皆さんのおかげで、あっという間のアクティビティを楽しむことができました。
色々な国の方が参加されているので、その人たちともコミュニケーションを取りながらサーフィンをすることができるのも楽しかったです。(英語はできなくてもその場のノリで大丈夫。上手く波にのることができたら褒めてくれます。)
また、オプションで当日の模様を撮影してもらうことが出来る(ドローンを用いた映像と写真)ので、思い出に持ち帰ることもおすすめです。
ロッカーに荷物を預けることができるので、旅の途中にもOK。早朝ダイヤモンドヘッド登頂からそのまま参加しましたが、問題なしです。
サーフィンレッスン付近は浅瀬で所々岩があるので、万一に備えてバンドエイドや消毒液があるとなお良いかもしれません。

Really nice fishing trip! Jack and the Capt. (don’t think I got her name) were really great hosts. Jack was excellent! Super helpful with all concerns regarding fishing equipment and hooking a fish. The Capt. was kind and informative. She knows her job and does it well. Despite the choppy seas, she got us to the spots where people caught fish. It was a great time and well recommended.

The day we experienced was unfortunately rainy, but since it was just a light rain, the event went ahead as planned. Once we started, we had so much fun that we forgot about the rain. However, even though I took motion sickness medication, I struggled with seasickness towards the end, so it's essential for those who need it to take motion sickness medication.

私たちが体験した日はあいにくの雨でしたが、小雨であったため決行されました。
いざスタートすると雨なんて忘れてしまうぐらい楽しかったです。
ただ、酔い止めを飲んでいったのにも関わらず、終盤は船酔いが辛かったので酔い止めを飲む必要のある人は必須です。

Experience SUP right in front of the Royal Hawaiian Beach! They lend you towels and can hold onto small bags, so you can easily join in during your free time. It was my first time on a SUP, but they taught me the basic movements and off I went into the ocean! Even when I fell, the water was surprisingly shallow, so I felt safe.

When I stood up, I had the best view of Diamond Head to my left while looking down at the waters of Waikiki! The tourists swimming around also offered encouragement and help, and the staff who took photos gave me advice, making it an hour that flew by.

ロイヤルハワイアンの目の前のビーチでSUP体験！タオルも貸してくれて小さい荷物も預かっていただけるので、空いている時間に気軽に参加出来ます。SUPは初めてでしたが、基本的な動きを教えてもらっていざ海へ！落ちても意外と浅くて足が付くレベルだったので安心でした。
立てた時は左にダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めながらワイキキの海を見下ろすという最高なシチュエーションです！まわりで泳いでいた観光客の方々も声をかけてくれたり助けてくれたり、写真を取ってくれるスタッフの方もアドバイスしてくれてあっという間の1時間でした。

Beautiful day on the water with a personable crew. No fish were seen or caught but that's fishing.

Last minute I decided to add this onto my itinerary and it was so worth it! The magic island feels like the perfect spot to dip your toes into scuba diving!

What scared my son was until we took off! (Until then, he kept complaining about me making the reservation. Haha) But the staff was amazing!! Honestly, there was no time to be scared. Haha We were given instructions one after another, and before we knew it, the first group was flying away. We were in the third group. Since we were watching everyone else, we were fully prepared! I wasn't scared at all. I enjoyed the scenery♪ The flight is only a few minutes long, so it's very short, but the round trip by boat is also fun! It would be good to have a camera or video with an easy-to-hold grip that you just need to hold on to. I used my phone, so it was a bit complicated and difficult (laughs). Anyway, it was so much fun that I definitely want to make a reservation when I go to Hawaii! *It was canceled twice due to strong winds. I really felt that they prioritize safety. Both Veltra and the operating company responded promptly, and since it was a cancellation due to the weather right before, the reservation change was free!

※強風で２回キャンセルになりました。それだけ安全に配慮されていると実感。ベルトラも実施会社もこまめに対応してくれて、直前の天候によるキャンセルでしたので、予約変更も無料でした！

If you're looking to go parasailing near Honolulu, this is the place to choose. It's conveniently close to Ala Moana Center, and the height is amazing! You can fly with Diamond Head in the background! It's best to add the photo option! The staff is super friendly. If you ask for "Meni Water," it makes it even more fun!

The day after the Honolulu Marathon was free time. Since it depended on the weather and my physical condition, I made an online reservation on-site after the marathon. It was a busy time for travelers, and many spots were already booked, but I finally found an opening for a private lesson. The price was a bit high, but it couldn't be helped. It's great that they accept participants up to 80 years old.

The reception on the day was the worst. A Japanese female staff member was in charge, and while I felt relieved at first, her attitude was extremely cold. I was given a long T-shirt for kids to wear over my swimsuit, specifically a size S for children—about 5 or 6 years old! Even when I said it was impossible, she insisted that it would be sufficient for me. Is this bullying?

The people around me sympathized and suggested that I should get an exchange, and reluctantly, they brought out a proper size from a back room. I was the only Japanese person there, but having Japanese staff didn't guarantee comfort; in fact, I learned that I could be treated poorly.

As for surfing, I was able to stand on the board and ride the waves after just two or three tries. Getting up from a prone position to standing requires leg strength. It's definitely not something to do right after a full marathon.

ホノルルマラソン翌日のフリータイム。天気と体調次第なので、マラソン終了後、現地でネット申し込みしました。旅行者が多い時期でもあり、予約は結構埋まっていて、ようやくプライベートレッスンの空きを見つけました。金額割高だけど、仕方ない。80歳までokもありがたい。
当日の受付は最悪。日本人女性スタッフが采配していて、安心したのも束の間、めちゃくちゃ塩対応。水着の上にガードの長Tシャツを着るのだが、私に渡されたのは子供用Sサイズ。5、6歳くらいの！
無理、と言っても、あなたにはそれで充分と。これってイジメ？
周りの人も見かねて、交換してもらうべきと共鳴してくれて、渋々奥の部屋からまともなサイズのを取り出してきた。
日本人は私だけでしたが、日本人スタッフがいれば安心ということでは無いな。むしろ、ゴミのような扱いを受ける場合もあると知った。
サーフィン自体は、2，3回でボードに立って波に乗る事ができた。
腹這いから、瞬時にボードに立つので、脚力が必要。フルマラソン直後にやるものではないな。

I made a reservation for stand-up paddleboarding, but I was advised to switch to surfing due to strong winds. It was a different experience from what I originally intended, but thanks to the careful instruction, I had a great time. Thank you very much!
