○Positive Points
- The view was absolutely stunning! I often saw paragliders from the beach, and I thought the starting point was nearby, but it was actually further out than I expected. There were 5-6 groups on the same small boat, and it felt great to be out in the wind and waves!
- It was a windy day, so we started an hour later than our reservation. They checked if it was okay to leave late and confirmed that we didn't have a dinner reservation, which allowed for the time change!
- There are many points to note below, but it was so much fun! I felt like a bird and would love to go again, so if you're interested, definitely give it a try!

●Points to Note
- Everything is basically in English, so be prepared for that... (For those taking photos, there were some people who spoke simple Japanese on the boat.)
- I experienced more seasickness than I expected, and the wind during paragliding can make it worse, so if you're prone to motion sickness, it's best to take medication just in case. I felt a bit nauseous while paragliding...
- Be careful about the meeting place! There's a large parking lot between the sea and the pool next to the hotel. The reception is in a small hut along the seaside within that parking lot, but it was hard to find... (I'll upload a photo of the reception hut, so please take a look.)
- If you have a GoPro or something similar, it might be good to bring it. Taking photos with a smartphone can be risky if you drop it, and it’s hard to take it out of your pocket to shoot without feeling nervous.

○良かった点
・とにかく絶景！ビーチからよくパラセイリングをしているのを見えていたので、近場かと思ったら、思ったより沖でのスタート。同じ船に5〜6組乗っていて、小型船ですので、風や波を受けとても気持ち良かったです！
・風の強い日で、予約より1時間遅い時間でのスタートとなりました。その中で遅れて出発でもOKか、ディナーの予約はしてないか確認してくれての時間変更になりました！
・下記注意点たくさんありますが、、とっても楽しかったです！鳥になったようなまた行きたいので、興味ある方はぜひ！


●注意点
・基本全て英語なのでちょっと覚悟が必要・・・（写真撮影の方、船の中でのコミュニケーションは簡単な日本語を話してくださる方がいらっしゃいました）
・思った以上に船酔い、パラセーリングでも風で煽られるので、酔い止めが気になる方は迷ったら飲んだ方が正解です。ちょっとパラセイリングの上空で気持ち悪くなりました・・・
・集合場所は要注意！海とホテル横のプールと挟まれたところに大きな駐車場があります。その駐車場の中、海沿いの小さな小屋が受付ですが、全く分からず・・・（受付の小屋は写真アップしておきますので、ご覧ください。）
・Go Proとかあれば持っていくと良いかもしれません。スマホ撮影は落としたら・・・とか勇気がないとポケットから出して撮影は考えずらいです。。

The weather was nice, and the waves by the shore weren't too bad, but once we headed out to sea, raised the mast, and started sailing, the waves began to rise, and the thrilling experience of getting splashed was so much fun. We got quite wet, but by the time we returned to shore, we were completely dry. My husband and I talked about how if the price were a bit lower (it felt very much like Hawaii), we would be happy to go every time.

天気も良く岸辺の波は大したことはなかったのですが、沖合に出てマストを上げて航行が始まったころから何が高くなり始めてバッサーンと波を被りながらのヨット体験はとってもスリリングで楽しかったです。
結構濡れましたが岸に戻るころにはすっかり乾いていました。
もう少しお値段が安かったら（とてもHawaiiらしくて）毎回乗ってもいいねと主人と話しています。

This is my second time on the Kamataran. I repeated it because I had a great experience four years ago, and it was still amazing.

Last time, I encountered a pod of dolphins, which was a wonderful memory. This time, encountering sea turtles was the highlight!

今回2回目のカマタラン号
4年前に乗ったカマタラン号が良くてリピートしましたがやっぱり最高でした。

前回はイルカの群れと遭遇していい思い出。
今回は海亀と遭遇最高でした。

The view while ascending was very beautiful.
During the descent, the wind blew strongly, causing a loss of balance and I fell into the sea.
I was wearing a life jacket, so I didn't drown.
I think the probability of falling is low, but I believe it's wise to be cautious on windy days or when there is a significant weight difference between two people.

上がっている時の景色はとても綺麗でした。
降下している最中に、風が強く吹いてバランスが取れなくなり海に落下しました。
ライフジャケットを着ていたので溺れませんでした。
落ちる確率は低いと思いますが、風が強い日や、2人の体重差がある場合などは気をつけた方が良いと思いました。

Parasailing itself was very enjoyable! However, since there were about 10 people on the shared boat and we took turns flying in groups of 2 to 3, you have to wait on a rather rocky boat while others are parasailing. I got quite seasick, so motion sickness medication is a must.

パラセーリング自体はとても楽しかったです！
ただ、10人程度の乗合船で、2〜3人ずつ順番に飛ぶため、他の人のパラセーリング中は結構揺れる船で待機することになります。
かなり船酔いするので、酔い止めは必須です

The weather was great, with a blue sea and blue sky, and I had so much fun! I felt like a bird. I flew high, but I wasn't scared at all. The boat ride felt like a roller coaster and was a bit scary. If you're not good with that, it's better to sit at the front. The meeting point is hard to find, so it's best to arrive early.

天気がよく青い海に青い空ですごく楽しかったです！鳥になった気分でした。
高く飛ぶけど全く怖くなかったです。
ボートでの移動がジェットコースターみたいで怖かったです。苦手な方は前に乗る方がいいです。
集合場所が分かりにくいので、早めに行く方がいいです。

1. The meeting place is a small building, so it can be easy to miss, but it's located right in the parking lot!
2. The reception staff, drivers, and photographers are all locals, but everything worked out fine! The atmosphere is very homey, so you can enjoy it in a relaxed way!
3. Even if you arrive on time, you will have to wait about 30 to 40 minutes because the departure won't happen without the parasailing board.
4. If you have a GoPro, the local drivers are quite enthusiastic and you might end up being dunked into the water while floating in the air, so it's best to check if it's waterproof. Also, you can get photos taken for $40, but if you have a GoPro, you probably won't need it!

It might be better to avoid taking selfies with your phone on a selfie stick, as there's a chance your phone could fall. It gets quite bumpy.

5. While waiting for your turn for parasailing or after finishing, the driving can be quite wild, so be careful of seasickness.

As a reference, I saw some people giving tips of $5 or $10 to the drivers, but only about 2 out of 10 people did so.

参加する方は、
1、集合場所が小さい建物なので見逃しやすいですが、駐車場の中にぽつんとあります！
2、受付の人、運転手、カメラマン全て現地の人ですがどうにかなりました！雰囲気はアットホームなので、ノリで楽しめます！
3、集合時間に間に合っても、パラセーリングするためのボードがないと出発しないので、集合時間から30〜40分待たされます。
4、GoProお持ちの方は、向こうの運転手のサービス精神で空に浮いている状態から水の中に突っ込まれると思うので、防水確認した方がいいです。また40ドルで写真撮ってもらえますが、GoProある方は、いらないと思います！

携帯を自撮り棒で撮るのは、携帯落ちる可能性があるので控えた方がいいかもしれません。
結構振り回されます。

5、パラセーリングの順番待ってる時・また終えて待っている時、めちゃくちゃ運転がワイルドなので船酔いに気をつけてください。

参考までにチップは、運転手に5ドルか10ドル渡してる方いましたが、10人中2人ぐらい渡してました。

At first, I was scared, but seeing Waikiki from the ocean, I was moved by the vast sea. The view was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and approachable, which I appreciated.

最初は怖かったですが、海から見るワイキキ、広大な海に感動しました。最高の眺めでした。
スタッフの方もとても気さくに接して頂き、ありがたかったです。

I experienced parasailing for the first time. It was only a few minutes in the air, but I had a wonderful aerial adventure. We boarded a motorboat with several groups and took turns flying in the sky. The motorboat swayed quite a bit, so I think those who are prone to motion sickness should be cautious.

初めてパラセイリングを経験しました。
空中ではほんの数分でしょうか。とても素晴らしい空中遊泳の旅を経験いたしました。
何組かのグループでモーターボートに乗船して、順番に空を飛びます。
モーターボートはかなり揺れるので、船酔いをする方は要注意だと思います。

Had a wonderful dive this morning with Waikiki Dive Center. The tour provided everything needed for a perfect morning dive. As two experienced divers we were impressed with the marine life and shipwreck!

I participated in mid-June! I'm honestly not great with heights, so I was anxious and thought I might get seasick, but once I took off, it was just as others have reviewed! At first, it was scary, but when you go up into the sky and come back down, they operate the controls slowly, so it wasn't as frightening as I expected (I won't say it wasn't scary at all, haha). However! Being able to see the streets of Waikiki and Diamond Head from 150 meters above the sea was an unforgettable experience! I definitely recommend trying it! Just be aware that the boat heading out can be really bumpy, so it might be tough for those who get seasick... please take care!

高いところは正直苦手ですので不安で船酔いしそうでしたが、いざ飛んでみると他の皆さんがレビューしている通り！最初は怖いですが空に上がるときも船に戻るときもゆっくりと操作してくれるので思ってたより怖くはなかったです。(全然とは言いません笑)しかし！ワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドを海上150メートルから一望できたのは一生の思い出になる経験です！是非経験してみてください！
ただし、沖に向かう船がめっちゃ揺れますので船酔いする方はきついかもしれません、、、ご注意を！

It was my first time parasailing! I had a great time with the people on the boat who took photos for me, and the staff were very kind and helpful! I flew at 150 meters, and the weather was great, allowing me to enjoy the stunning views, so I highly recommend it! The photos are available for an additional fee of $40, and they provided them on a miniSD card!

初めてのパラセーリングでした！同船した方に写真を撮っていただいたり、スタッフの皆さんも優しく案内してくれたりととても楽しい時間でした！150m飛びましたが、天気もよく絶景を堪能できるのでおすすめです！別料金の写真は$40、miniSDで渡してくれました！

The departure time was delayed, feeling like Hawaii time. There are restrooms at the harbor, but the men's room has security, so you might need to follow the boat staff to get in (I was let in). The women's room didn't have security, and it's not recommended to go alone. It's better to use the restroom at the hotel.

The boat moves quite fast, so if you're prone to seasickness, definitely take some motion sickness medication. A foreign girl who was on board looked like she was struggling. Once you're up in the parachute, the view is amazing; you can see Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head clearly. The captain tends to play around quite a bit with the parachute.

In the end, you usually get splashed into the sea, so if you don't want that, it's better to say "water!" before the parachute goes up. After getting splashed, your body gets cold, so a jacket might be necessary. The staff will take photos for you, but they aren't professionals, so the quality might not be perfect. You can check the photos at the reception at the end and decide whether to purchase them, which is reassuring. The data can be downloaded to an SD card or smartphone.

I think parasailing is something you should definitely try at least once!

出発時間は予定より遅れて出発ハワイ時間って感じです。
ハーバーにトイレはあるが男子用はセキュリティー付きなので
ボートのスタッフに着いて行けば入れるかも（自分はいれてもらった）
女子用はセキュリティーは無かった、一人で行くのは進められない。
トイレはホテルで済ましておいた方が良い
ボートは激しく進むので船に弱い人は酔い止め必見です、
同乗した外国人の女の子が辛そうでした。
パラシュートは上がっちゃえば最高の景色です、ワイキキビーチ、ダイアモンドヘッドが良く見えます。
キャプテンに結構パラシュートは遊ばれます。
最後には大体海ポチャされます、海ポチャがやな場合はパラシュートが上がる前に水ダメ！とか言った方が良いです。
海ポチャして上がると体が冷えるので上着は必要かな。
あとスタッフが写真を撮ってくれますが、プロでは無いのでそれほど
バッチリとはいかないかもです、写真は最後に受付で確認して
そこで購入するか判断できるので安心です、データーはSDカードかスマフォに
ダウンロードです。
パラセーリングは一度はやって見た方がいいと思いますよ！

It was good well explained with saftey and what the plan was. The experience was o.k however there wasn't alot of sea life to see like turtles or alot of fish. The time wasn't as long as it is mentioned in the advertisement. It's great that they offer pics and vids I just wish there would of been more than just 6.

I went parasailing for the first time‼️
I want to praise myself for being able to do something like this at over 60 years old!
The scenery was amazing‼️ The sense of freedom‼️
I felt motivated to work hard again starting tomorrow.

The two male crew members raising the sail were very cool, and with a happy song, we headed out to sea. The splashes of the waves were magnificent, the wind was pleasant, and I was moved by the majestic view of Diamond Head from the ocean. It was the best option for me. I will definitely ride again next time!

Even with last-minute reservations, you can feel secure as they confirm everything properly via email and phone. I was a bit anxious about the reception location since there was no sign (as mentioned in the reservation confirmation), but following the map sent with the confirmation helped me find it.

It mentioned to arrive 30 minutes early, but I ended up waiting with nothing to do until the start time, so the purpose of the early arrival was unclear.

The snorkeling experience starts with the instructor properly explaining how to handle the equipment, which is reassuring for beginners. I recommend it for those who want to safely try it out nearby. The water wasn't very clear, though.

直前予約でも、メールと電話できちんと確認されるので安心です。
当日の受付場所は、案内版がなくて（ないと予約確認書に書いてあります）不安でしたが、予約確認書に送られてくる地図に従うとたどり着くことができます。
開始30分前に来るようにと書いてあったのですが、何もすることなく開始時間まで待たされて、30分前集合の意図が不明でした。

シュノーケルは、インストラクターがきちんと器具の扱いを含めて説明をしてくれてから始まるので、初心者には安心です。
近場で安全に、とりあえず試してみたいという方にお勧めします。
海は、あまりクリアではありませんでした。

We went with a group of good friends. We had such a good time. The waves were perfect. Will go again when we are in Oahu.

I was afraid of heights, but it wasn't scary at all. It was a really fun time. The weather was great, and I was able to enjoy the view of Waikiki from up high. I definitely want to do it again!

I participated with my wife.

It was a one-hour tour on a small boat. My wife is prone to motion sickness, but this time she didn't feel sick, possibly because the waves weren't high. Since the boat is small and there is some rocking, those who are prone to motion sickness should not forget to take motion sickness medication.

The others on board were at an altitude of 120 meters, while we were at 150 meters, but we didn't feel much of a difference, and there was no difference in the operation either, so the 120-meter option might have been more cost-effective.

There wasn't much fear at high altitude, and I think you can enjoy the scenery slowly! On a clear day, we could see the entire city of Honolulu, and it felt great.

Overall, it was a satisfying tour, but at the end, we were asked for a tip, which was a bit disappointing. I was naturally prepared to give one, so I wanted to do it pleasantly. Well, this might be something that Japanese people often forget to do. I understand that, but because of that, I gave it a four-star rating.

妻と二人で参加しました。

小型のボートで１時間ほどのツアーでした。妻は酔いやすいですが、今回は波が高くなかったのか、酔わず。ボートは小さいのと、揺られる時間もあるので、酔いやすい方は酔い止めをお忘れなく。

同乗した方々は高度120メートル、私たちは高度150メートルでしたが、体感では違いを感じず、また運営でも差がなかったので、高度120メートルの方がコスパが良かったかもしれません。

上空での怖さはあまりなく、ゆっくり景色を楽しめると思います！晴れた日でホノルルの市街地全体が見渡せて、気持ちよかったです。

総じて満足のいくツアーでしたが、最後にチップをせびられ、萎えました。当然に渡そうと準備してたので、気持ちよく渡したかった。。まぁこればかりは日本人は渡しそびれが多いのでしょうね。仕方ない気もしますが、その分四つ星評価といたしました。

I went alone.
It was my first time riding the waves, and I was very moved.
When a good wave came, I was pushed from behind, and it felt like I was standing up while riding the wave. Even someone as clumsy as me was able to stand. I fell many times, but it was really fun.
Some people might not try surfing.
I had a great time being taught by very cheerful and friendly people.

はじめて波に乗って、とても感動しました。
いい波が来ると後ろから押してもらって、波に乗ってる途中で立つという感じです。どんくさい私でも立てました。何回も落ちたけど、とても楽しかったです。
人によっては、波乗りまではしないのかもしれません。
とても陽気でフレンドリーな方に教えてもらえて、楽しかったです。

It was a bit far, but I was able to walk from Waikiki along the sandy beach. I thought it would be scarier, but it was very pleasant! However, the boat sways quite a bit, so it might be tough for those who get motion sickness. You also need to be careful about meals before and after.

The ticket booth was a bit hard to find, but a kind person nearby helped me out.

I don't understand English, but it was totally fine! My mother, who is in her 60s, was also very happy.

もっと怖いかと思っていたのですが、とても気持ちよかったです！
ただ、船がかなり揺れるので乗り物酔いのある人にはきついかもしれません。前後の食事にも注意が必要です。
チケットブースが少し分かりづらかったのですが、近隣の親切な人が教えてくださいました。

There were just the two of us Japanese people, and while drinking Mai Tai for $5, we enjoyed a pleasant time on a cruise with the refreshing sea breeze that passed by in no time.

日本人は我々2人でした、マイタイ5ドルを飲みながら海風が気持ち良くてあっという間のクルーズで楽しい時間を過ごせました。

It was absolutely amazing. I chose the 150m option, and it was the right decision. There were no Japanese people in the same group, but someone from Mexico talked to me, and we exchanged our smartphones to take pictures and videos of each other. I was also able to buy photos taken by the photographer for $40. There are so many pictures and videos from various angles, and just looking back at them is enjoyable.

とにかく最高でした。150mの方にしましたが、正解でした。
同じグループに日本人の方はいませんでしたが、メキシコ？の方が話しかけてくださり、互いのスマホを預けて写真や動画を撮り合いました。
40ドルでカメラマンが撮った写真も買うことができました。様々な角度の写真や動画がたくさんで見返してるだけでも楽しいです。

What an exciting adventure for our first-time parasailors! Our 8 & 5 year old granddaughters had the time of their lives parasailing with their Grammy! They loved seeing a green sea turtle as well as all the wonderful scenery of Oahu! The crew was kind and humorous. We had a wonderful experience!

Everything was great, staff was friendly. We went first thing in the morning so we got the boat to our selfs. Definitely not as scary as it seems! And I was SUPER scared at first, but I think I would definitely do it again! Recommend to get the pictures, they came out great!

It was the best experience for my first time. The crew members were fun and really helped to create a lively atmosphere. It became a wonderful memory of Hawaii for both my wife and me. There was also a photo session (for an additional fee), and we are still enjoying it after returning home.

We departed from the hotel (Moana Surfrider) at 7:30 for an 8:30 meeting. If you go from Kalakaua Avenue through the Fort DeRussy Boardwalk, you'll reach the parking lot where you can easily see the parasailing sign. It took us about 40 minutes to walk there at a leisurely pace.

The view from 150 meters was spectacular, offering a panoramic view from Waikiki Beach to Diamond Head! I was able to take videos by putting my smartphone in a waterproof case. There was also a Japanese person on the same boat, so we took pictures of each other, saving the $40 photo fee.

I've visited Hawaii about five times, but this was my first parasailing experience. I recommend it for both first-timers and repeat visitors!

朝8:30集合のため、ホテル（モアナサーフライダー）を7:30に出発しました。カラカウア通りからフォート・デロシー・ボードウォークを通って行くと駐車場に出て、パラセーリングの看板が見えるので分かりやすいと思います。ゆっくり歩いて行けば40分程で着きました。
150mからの景色は絶景で、ワイキキビーチからダイヤモンドベッドまで一望できました！防水ケースにスマホを入れて動画も撮影できました。同じ船に日本人の方がいらっしゃったのでお互い写真を撮りあったので40ドルの撮影代を節約できました
ハワイは5回ほど訪れてますが、初めてのパラセーリングでした初めての方にもリピーターの方にもオススメです
