I wanted to try surfing in Hawaii, so I participated in this famous school. There were about 10 people in total, all beginners, and we were the only Japanese, but there happened to be an instructor who spoke Japanese, so there were no problems at all.

I was nervous since it was my first challenge, but the instructor encouraged me, and I was able to stand up from the first try! I hardly took any breaks, so towards the end, I was able to ride the waves multiple times in quick succession. I'm not sure if I can ride the waves on my own yet, but I had a memorable and fun experience!

One thing to note is that it takes time to fill out the consent form, so you need to arrive 30 minutes before your reservation time (as mentioned on the voucher).

ハワイでサーフィンがしてみたかったので、有名なこちらのスクールに参加してみました。
参加した回は全部で10人くらい、全員初心者、日本人は私たちだけでしたが、日本語を話せるインストラクターさんが（たまたま？）いたので、全く問題ありませんでした。
初めての挑戦で緊張しましたが、インストラクターさんが押してくれたので1回目から立つことができました！私はほとんど休憩しなかったので、最後の方は短いスパンで何度も波に乗ることができました。
一人で波に乗れるようになったかというと怪しいですが、思い出に残る楽しい体験ができました！

注意点は、同意書の記入などに時間がかかるので、予約時間の30分前に到着しておく必要があることです（バウチャーに書いてあります）。

I had an amazing time.
We experienced parasailing as a family of four. We went up high enough to overlook Diamond Head.
The ocean was blue, and we could see Hawaii from above. I was worried because I'm not good with thrill rides, but it was not scary at all and was truly the best fun.
The captain's jokes were really entertaining, and I was laughing the whole time!

It would be nice if the back ground music was not exist. Since the sailing time only with soft wave sound, would be my best prefered environment.

I received reminder emails as needed, which provided reassurance that my reservation was confirmed. Although I was 25 minutes late this time, they waited until the last minute. While being late is not ideal, their flexible response increased my trust in them.
We participated as a group of five, totaling ten people, and the activity took about an hour. Each group had a ride of about ten minutes. Due to significant swaying, those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take anti-nausea medication.
It was certainly fun, and I can also appreciate the safety measures, including life jackets and support for two people.
Photos are $40. They asked if I wanted one, but there was no hard selling. The minimum tip was understood to be $20, and all five groups gave $20.

リマインドのメールが適宜届きます。ちゃんと予約が入っているという安心感にも繋がりました。今回25分遅刻をしてしまいましたが、ギリギリまで待ってくれました。遅れるのはダメですが、こういった臨機応変な対応も信頼度に繋がりました。
5組10名で参加し、1時間くらいの所要時間です。1組10分くらいのライドでした。横揺れがすごいため、苦手な方は酔い止め必須です。
楽しかったことはもちろんですが、救命胴衣や2名サポートを含め安全性も評価できます。
写真は40ドル。いるか聞かれて、無理な販売はありません。チップは20ドルが最低価格という先方の認識でした。5組とも、20ドルを渡しています。

I was very nervous before trying parasailing at a height of 150 meters for the first time, but the staff were kind and it was a lot of fun throughout. I didn't feel unsafe and would like to participate again. The motorboat swayed a bit on the waves, so I took motion sickness medication before going.

初めてパラセイリングで150mの高さは乗る前はとてもドキドキでしたが、スタッフ方たちが親切で終始とても楽しかったです。
危ないこともなくまた参加したいです。
モーターボートは時々波にのり揺れます。酔い止めは飲んで行きました。

The tour was fun, but the high waves in Waikiki and the simple life jackets that resembled airplane life vests seemed difficult for my 7-year-old child for snorkeling. We were able to see sea turtles while snorkeling, and it was enjoyable to sail out with the yacht's sails up. It might be fine for children who are strong swimmers and accustomed to snorkeling.

ツアーは楽しかったですが、
7歳の子供にはワイキキの高い波と、
飛行機の救命胴衣のような簡易ライフジャケットはシュノーケルには難しかったようです。
シュノーケルでウミガメも見れましたし、
ヨットの帆を張って沖まで行ったりして楽しかったです。
泳力とシュノーケル慣れのある子供なら大丈夫かも。

I read experiences and took motion sickness medication before participating. I was worried seeing someone on the previous boat struggling with seasickness, but thanks to the medication, I was able to enjoy the entire experience until the end.

It was amazing to go higher than I expected and see Waikiki from the sea!

I rode with cheerful staff and a lively group of five American girls. The boat was high-speed, and parasailing offered a great view of Waikiki, which was fun. It was efficient with three people per ride. The Hilton grounds were too vast and felt far away.

陽気なスタッフと、賑やかなアメリカ女子5人組と同乗しました。船もハイスピードで、パラセーリングもワイキキ一望出来て、楽しかったです。
3人づつ乗れて効率的でした。ヒルトン敷地が広すぎて、遠かった

This activity involves flying a sail with a wire while running on a boat, similar to kite flying. You go quite high, but because the sail is large, the descent is slow, and you don't feel that floating sensation in your stomach. The view from above was beautiful and calm, with no swaying left or right except for the wind, but looking down brought a considerable sense of fear due to the height.

The check-in was quick, just a signature, but the waiting time before starting was about 30 minutes. We went quite far offshore, and with two people in each of the five groups, we each flew for about 10 minutes in turn. The boat keeps moving during the trip back and forth and while the other groups are flying, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you are prone to getting seasick.

On the way back, as the wire is reeled in, each group gets partially dipped in the sea, but we ended up completely soaked, so wearing clothes that can get wet is advisable. Three of the participants were travelers from the mainland United States, and two groups, including ours, were travelers from Japan.

凧揚げをするように船で走りながらワイヤー付きのセイルを飛ばすアクティビティです。
かなり高いところまで行きますがセイルが大きいため、降下時もゆっくりでお腹がふわっとなる感覚はありません。
上空も左右に振られず風以外は穏やかで美しい景色を見れましたが、足元を見ると高さで中々の恐怖感がありました。
受付はサインだけなのですぐに終わりましたが、始まるまでの待ち時間は30分くらい。
船でかなり沖合まで出て、2人×5組いたのでそれぞれ順番に10分程飛びました。
行き帰りと他の組が飛んでいる間、船は走り続けますので少しでも乗り物で酔う人は酔い止めを飲んでおくことをおすすめします。
ワイヤーを巻き取って戻ってくる途中、どの組も海に半分だけ漬けられるのですが、我々だけ全身浸かってしまいずぶ濡れになりましたので、濡れてもいい服装がおすすめです。
参加者は3組がアメリカ本土からの旅行者で、我々を含む2組は日本からの旅行者でした。

Generally, I think it's rare to encounter sea turtles while snorkeling. Here, they might be feeding them? I saw two sea turtles swimming normally, but there were more than five on the ocean floor, and I had a great time. The phrase "you will definitely see them!" seems to be true. You must wear a floatation device and cannot dive underwater, but I still had a lot of fun. If you can't speak any Japanese, it might be a bit challenging for those who don't speak English!

大概、ウミガメに会えるというシュノーケリングで、そうそう会えることもないのではと思う。
ここでは、餌付け？をしているのか、普通に泳いでいるウミガメは２匹だったが、海底にはそれ以上の５匹のウミガメがおり、楽しく過ごすことが出来た。
確実に会える！というフレーズは、確かだと思う。
浮きを必ず着用しなければならず、海中に潜水することは出来ないが、楽しく過ごすことが出来た。
日本語が全く使えないので、英語が話せない人は少し厳しいかも！

My first parasailing experience! I forgot that I get seasick and decided to give it a try... and off I went into the sky! It was stable up there, so it wasn't scary at all, and the view was breathtaking. I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who get seasick. It was a wonderful experience.

そのまま空へ！上空は安定していたので怖くはなく絶景でした。船酔いする方は酔い止め薬をおすすめ致します。良い体験をさせて頂きました。

I was worried because the online reservation couldn't be completed due to an app malfunction, but the staff on-site were very kind and helpful. The staff on the boat were also Japanese, and although we were the only ones, they were considerate and we had a great time.

オンライン予約が、アプリの不具合で完結しない状態で心配していましたが、現地にいたスタッフの方が親切に対応して頂きました。
船上のスタッフの方も日本人が、私たちだけでしたが、きをつかって頂き楽しい時間を過ごせました。

Parasailing was amazing! My group had an awesome time. The service was great, very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

I participated with my husband, who has a fear of heights. It wasn't scary at all, and we had a great time! We arrived right on time for the meeting, but as soon as we got there, we hurried to sign in and boarded the boat. It seems we took the previous ferry. We were the only Japanese people, making a total of 10 participants. We were able to place our luggage at our feet. I brought a bath towel, but in the end, I didn't use it. We got off the bus at the Hilton and walked to the meeting point, but we got a bit lost on the way, so I think it's better to allow some extra time.

高所恐怖症の主人と参加。全く怖くなく楽しめました！集合時間ピッタリに着きましたが、着いた早々急いでサインして、船に乗りました。恐らくひとつ前の便に乗ったようです。日本人は私たちだけで合計10人でした。荷物も足元に置けました。バスタオルを持っていきましたが、結果使わなかったです。ヒルトンでバスを降りて集合場所まで行きましたが、辿り着くまでの道が少し迷いましたので、ゆとりをもって行った方がよいと思います。

ちょっと飛んでる時間ぎ短すぎです。準備が整っていないのに流れ作業のように飛べと急がせてくるし、満足度は低い。そのくせ写真を買わせようとしてくるのが不快でした。

In mid-August, I experienced this with my 8-year-old daughter. Since my daughter is small, we didn't meet the weight requirement with other companies, but we were able to participate in this tour as we met the minimum here. I had imagined being secured in something like a simple chair, but I was surprised that we were only supported by a thick belt. When you jump, there's no sense of speed, and occasionally the wind blows and sways, but it gives you a strange feeling of floating in the sky. My daughter was a little scared (not to the point of crying), but I think it was a good experience for her to muster up the courage to jump! We were the first of five groups to jump, and while the others were jumping, my daughter got motion sickness. I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to bring anti-nausea medication and a bag for emergencies.

８月中旬、８歳娘と一緒に母娘で体験しました。
娘が小柄なので、他社さんでは合計体重が基準を下回っていましたが、こちらのツアーでは下限に達していたので参加できました。
簡易なイスのようなものに固定されるのを想像していましたが、実際には太いベルトのようなもので支えるだけで驚きました。飛び上がってしまうと、スピード感はなく、ときどき風が吹いて揺れますが、空に浮かんでいるような不思議な感覚です。
娘は少し怖がっていましたが（泣くほどではなく）、勇気を出して飛んだことは良い経験になったかなと思います！
５組のうち私たちが１番目に飛び、他の方が飛んでいる間に娘は船酔いしてしまいました。酔いやすい方は酔い止め＆エチケット袋を持っておくと良いと思います。

Even with standard seating our seats were close to the stage and our view was very good. Venue doesn’t offer the tropical and natural setting and backdrop (high rise in background of all our photos), but it was close to our hotel and didn’t consume several hours of our day/night going/returning on a bus.
Entertainment was very good and the food was good. All luaus are expensive, so no real bargains.
Overall, we are glad we went and had the experience.

I'm not good with roller coasters, so I was worried about the shaking, but there was no need to worry. The weather was nice, the scenery was beautiful, and I'm glad I participated!

It was my first experience, and I was able to feel Hawaii. There were various events, and it became a lifelong memory. It was fun!

The location is right next to Hilton Lagoon. We drove there with a rental car, but it's also within walking distance from Waikiki and Ala Moana. There were six of us participating, three men and three women, ranging from 19 to 80 years old. Once we gathered two more women from the mainland, we set sail with a total of eight people. I think the boat can hold about ten people comfortably. There was a captain and one assistant, who took photos throughout the trip. We didn't request it, but since my 80-year-old mother was with us, they let us fly together as a group of three instead of two. Even at the highest point, it wasn't too scary, and the view was amazing, so my mother enjoyed it without any worries. At one point, we splashed into the seawater, but perhaps out of consideration for the elderly, it was just our legs that got wet (laughs).

The photos taken on the boat were $40 for one SD card, but since everyone in the group was captured even when flying separately, I think it's a good deal. I believe it said that the tip was $20, but I wasn't sure, so we just gave the captain $20 as a group when we disembarked. I don't think the others tipped as they just got off the boat.

You will definitely get your lower half soaked, so I recommend wearing a swimsuit.

場所はヒルトンラグーンのすぐ隣です。私達はレンタカーで向かいましたがワイキキからもアラモアナからも歩いて行ける所です。上は80歳から下は19歳まで男性3名女性3名の計6名で参加しました。他本土からの女性2名を入れて計8名揃い次第出航です。多分10名くらいでいっぱいになる船かなと思います。キャプテンと補助の方1名で補助の方は終始写真を撮ってくれます。こちらからリクエストした訳ではないのですが80歳の母が居たため2名ではなく3名一緒に飛ばしてくれました。最大に上がっても意外と怖さはなく景色が最高なので母も余裕で楽しんでいました。途中海水にドボンもありましたが高齢者を気を遣ってくれたのか控えめに足だけで済みました(笑)
船上で撮った写真はSDカード1枚40ドルでしたが、別々に飛んでもグループ全員が写っているのでお得だと思います。
チップは20ドルって書いてあったみたいですがよく分からなかったので、一応下船時にキャプテンに私達1グループで20ドルだけ渡しました。他の方はそのまま下船したので渡していなかったと思います。
間違いなく下半身はガッツリ濡れるので水着がおすすめです。

It was our first experience, and we decided to try it in Hawaii. I thought 10 minutes might be too short, but we enjoyed it enough. If you get seasick, please take some medication. Both my wife and I ended up feeling seasick.

I wanted to do something that I wouldn't normally do in Japan during my long-awaited trip to Hawaii, so I made a reservation. With not many activities available that parents can enjoy while having kids, I chose this one because it allows participation from age five.

The local staff were friendly, and the hour flew by in no time. The moment I actually took off was scary, but I was able to enjoy the amazing views of Oahu that can only be seen from the sky. I bought a waterproof phone case to take pictures, but I didn't have the luxury of doing that (laughs), so I used the photo service to get pictures of the three of us.

I also got to see other participants flying, which added to the attraction experience. My five-year-old son was called "Big Boy" by the staff, and it was a moment where he felt recognized, which I think contributed to his growth both physically and mentally.

I highly recommend it!

久しぶりのハワイで何か普段日本ではやらないようなことをやりたいと予約してみました。子供がいながら親も楽しめるアクティビティはあまりない中で５歳から参加できるということでこちらを選びました。
現地のスタッフさんも気さくであっという間の１時間でした。
実際飛んだ瞬間は怖かったけど、空からしか見られない素晴らしいオワフ島の景色を楽しむことができました。
防水のスマホケースを買って写真を撮ろうとしましたが、そんな余裕は持てず(笑)、写真撮影のサービスを利用して三人の写真を撮ってもらいました。
他の参加者の飛んでる姿も見られて、それもまたアトラクション的なものでした。
５歳の息子もスタッフさんに「Big Boy」と言われ、認められたという体験をし、心身共に成長したなと思います。

I have a fear of heights, but my husband loves high places and speed. I wanted to see the happy face of my husband, so I decided to take the plunge and signed up for the 150m experience. The result was so much fun that I didn't want to come down from the sky. I was able to chat a bit with the other people on the boat (who happened to all be Japanese) and we became friends. The staff took photos for us (you can choose whether or not to take photos before flying) for $40, including the data. Since it's an angle you can't capture yourself, I recommend purchasing them.

私は高所恐怖症ですが夫は高い、速いが大好き。
夫の喜ぶ顔が見たくて思い切って150mを申し込んでみました。結果はとても楽しく上空から降りたくなかったほど。一緒に船に同乗した方々(たまたま日本人ばかりでした)とも少しお話ができて仲良くなれました。スタッフさんが撮ってくださった写真(飛ぶ前に写真を撮る撮らないは選択可能)はデータ込みで$40 、自分では撮れないアングルなので購入をお勧めします。　

I have loved magic since I was young, and among all magicians, I particularly adored Atsuto Ogawa's performances. So when I found out I could see his magic during my trip to Hawaii, I made a reservation immediately. Before the show, Mr. Ogawa spotted us and came over to chat! During the performance, he mixed in some Japanese, and we had a really enjoyable time. I was truly moved to see Atsuto Ogawa's magic live, something I had admired for so long!

昔からマジック好きな自分は、中でも緒川集人さんのマジックが大好きだったため、ハワイ旅行にあたって緒川さんのマジックが見れるということで即予約。
開場前に緒川さんが自分たちを見つけて、話しかけてくれました！
公演中も日本語を交えながらやってくださり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
とにかく昔から見ていた緒川集人のマジックを生で見れたことに感動でした！

During the scheduled experience, I was worried about the approaching hurricane, but I was able to participate safely. The wind was a bit strong, which added to the thrill, and the crew members were very enthusiastic and made the experience a lot of fun. I had to change the date a few times due to changes in my travel plans, but it was smooth, and there were no additional fees, which I thought was very reasonable.

体験予定時，ハリケーン接近中で開催を心配しましたが無事に体験できました．やや風が強くスリル満点でしたが，乗船員の方もテンション高めに盛り上げてくださりとても楽しい体験ができました．
旅行中のプラン変更のため何度か日時変更させていただきましたがスムーズで変更料等もかからず良心的だと思いました．

The crew members were very cheerful and wonderful, and I felt really energized from the morning! They communicated a little in Japanese and provided light explanations, so it was fine even if I didn't understand much English!

On the day I went, there were only two groups including us, so it wasn't a long boat ride, and the sea was calm, so I didn't need motion sickness medication. However, I think it's better to take it on days when the sea is rough!

The hook attached to the harness is connected to the parachute, and the parasailing started quite quickly, so I recommend adjusting your position properly before starting! My arms felt quite tight while holding onto the harness...

Tipping was not mandatory! However, the crew made jokes and entertained us, so I felt it was worth tipping for the parasailing experience! ☺️

ですがクルーの人がジョークも交えて
楽しませてくれたので
チップを払ってもいいなと思えた

I participated because it was cheaper than similar tours. It was a snorkeling trip off the coast of the hotels in Waikiki. We saw as many as five sea turtles up close. Since it wasn't a coral reef, there were fewer fish. The catamaran cruise while listening to music was the best. There were only foreigners, and I didn't understand English, but it was totally fine. One drink was free. I was worried about getting to the location, so I reserved a round-trip taxi at JCB Plaza, and it was a flat rate of $22 one way from Sheraton Waikiki, including tips. It's a good idea to check the location of pier D on the map provided by the tour when you make your reservation.

同じようなツアーの中でも安かったので参加しました。ワイキキのホテル群の沖合でのシュノーケリングでした。海亀は間近で見られたものを含めて5匹もいました。サンゴ礁では無いのでお魚は少なめです。音楽を聞きながらのカタマランでのクルーズは最高でした。外国人ばかりで英語はわからなかったけど全然OKでした。アルコールは1杯タダでした。現地までの移動が不安だったのでJCBプラザで往復のタクシーを予約してシェラトンカイウラニからチップ込み定額片道22ドルでした。集合場所のpierDの場所は予約時にツアーから届く埠頭の地図で確認しておくと良いです。

- I made a reservation for around 1:30 PM on the day of, but there were almost no available spots, and it was quite tight.
- We participated as two adults (one of whom was just observing) and two children (a fourth grader and a third grader).
- I mistakenly booked for two participants and two observers (boat ride only), but I requested an upgrade on-site, and they were able to accommodate us.
- However, please note that the maximum capacity for sailing at one time is either two adults or one adult and two children.
- We sailed first, but after that, it was mandatory for others to board the boat, so be cautious of the children's motion sickness.
- I thought it might be scary, but the way I sat with my bottom on a thick rope significantly reduced the feeling of fear. The sensation of floating was amazing!

・当日朝予約の１３時半頃でしたが、空きはほぼなくギリギリでした。
・大人２人（うち１名は見学）、子供（小学４年生、３年生）で参加。
・予約を間違えて、２名参加、２名見学（ボート乗船のみ）で取ってしまったのですが、現地でアップグレードをお願いして、対応いただけました。
・ただ、１回でセイリングできる最大が、大人２名もしくは大人１名と子供２名なので注意。
・最初にセイリングしましたが、そのあとは他の方のためにボート乗船は必須で、子供の乗り物酔いは注意です。
・怖いかなと思ったのですが、太めのひもにお尻が乗る形で恐怖感はかなり軽減されました。浮遊感は最高でした！
