We saved the best for last. We are a family of 4, mom, dad and 2 - 13 years olds. We had a fantastic time!! So much fun and great guides! The ranch is beautiful. You can ride horses, bus tour, atv or utv tours to take. We did the utv. It sits 5. Our sons wanted to drive at s but they are not old enough. They still loved it! Its where alot of great movies were filmed like Lost, jurasic park. Will recommand to everyone!!! And many more. They have a food availble too.
Best way to finish our great hawaii trip.

I signed up mainly for the movie location tour, so I learned about the other tours and details on the day, but there was no confusion, and I was able to participate with explanations in Japanese for everything.

I recommend sitting on the right side of the bus for the movie location tour, as most of the sights are concentrated on that side. I joined to see the filming locations of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, and in that regard, I found the jungle tour to be more fulfilling and enjoyable than the location tour. The jungle tour was exciting, and I think those with strong hearts will really enjoy it.

The lunch buffet was included, but honestly, the quality was lacking, and I was concerned about hygiene. There were a lot of flies in the dining area, so I think it's better to eat on the terrace. However, aside from the buffet, there were only places like a café terrace for dining, so it seems better to include the buffet to enjoy a longer meal.

ランチバイキングがついていましたが、正直内容はイマイチで衛生面も気になりました。食堂内は物凄くハエがうるさいので、テラスで食事された方がいいと思います。ただ、バイキング以外はカフェテラス？？的なところしか食事場所がないので、バイキングをつけておいた方が長く楽しむには良いように思いました。
午後のテイスト〜ツアーは、あまり面白くなかったですが、全体を通して、とても充実したツアーだったと思います。
今回は乗馬やバギー、ジップラインに参加しませんでしたが、乗馬やバギーは見ていて本当に楽しそうでした。次行く機会があればそちらを体験したいです。
今回はアラモアナセンター付近で送迎してもらい、とても便利でした。行ってみて初めて、これは自力で行くのはあまりに難儀、と思いました。ツアーに参加されるのが間違いないですし、到着後も日本人スタッフさんが丁寧に日程説明してくださり安心です。

If it's your very first time, you might be too scared and nervous to enjoy the scenery, but if you have some experience, this is the best recommendation on Oahu. Definitely give it a try!

I had always wanted to visit Kualoa Ranch. I wasn't very experienced with horseback riding, and I was worried about the guide speaking English, but it turned out fine! Before riding, we watched an explanation video in Japanese. There was no waiting time at all, and we could get on the horses right away after arriving. The horse I rode was a bit free-spirited and sometimes moved on its own, but it was very well-behaved and walked slowly along the designated path. I used the shuttle service from the hotel. First, I took a small bus from the hotel, then switched to a larger bus to reach the destination. We gathered at the designated time and traveled to the starting point in a vehicle similar to a Jeep. Three instructors (two men and one woman) helped us put on harnesses and explained the safety instructions in English.

We first walked up to a high point for about 10 minutes, then practiced at 100 meters and 200 meters to get a feel for it. The equipment was secure, and even as someone with a fear of heights, I felt safe and enjoyed myself. The course gradually got longer, ending with a total of seven zip lines and two suspension bridges (which were short and not scary at all). The instructors were very friendly, jokingly asking questions like, "What's your favorite food?" before we slid down and, at the end, "Who do you like among us?" They seemed to have a solid manual, and I felt completely safe as they paid close attention to safety.

The only downside was the cost. Considering the distance from Waikiki and insurance, it might be reasonable, but I think it could be about half of the current price.

唯一残念なのはやはり費用。ワイキキからの移動距離や保険なども込みなのだろうが，現状の半分くらいでもいいと思った。

As we got used to it, we were able to let go of our hands while sliding, which felt like flying through the sky and was very pleasant.

◆ Movie Location Tour
I joined a group led by a Japanese guide named Tastin. The explanations in easy-to-understand Japanese, mixed with jokes, made the tour very enjoyable. Of course, the dynamic scenery is the main attraction, but Tastin's guidance made the tour even more fun.
In front of the Jurassic Park sign, all the guides had dinosaur figures, and they offered two versions of photos: one standing normally in front of the sign and another posing as if being attacked with the figure in the foreground. However, there was no explanation that it would be English only at that location, so I thought the Japanese guide would explain again, but there was no explanation at all. If they had at least said it was only in English, I would have gone closer to the English guide to listen. However, the main focus of this tour wasn't the destinations but the dynamic drive on rough roads. The uphill was quite enjoyable, but the thrill of the downhill wild drive had us screaming in excitement. It seems the quality of the experience depended on the driver's skill. The guide was a miss, but the driver was a hit. I tipped each of them, giving the driver a normal amount and the guide a little less.

There was a short 30-minute time before the next tour, so it was a bit rushed. The taste was average, but the meat was delicious. The fruit was also tasty, so I would love to eat a lot of just meat and fruit.

This tour involved visiting an area where plants are grown, with a slow-driving driver and a Japanese guide. The Japanese guide was Tastin, but the energy was more subdued compared to the movie location tour. There were calm explanations, and we had a review of the explanations from the movie location tour, which I enjoyed.
I rarely get to see fruits in their natural state on trees, so it was educational. I got to taste a little fruit and macadamia nuts, as well as a dip made from taro paste that ancient Hawaiians used to eat with tuna jerky. I noticed that the guide was considerate, engaging with small children to ensure they enjoyed the experience.
Since this is more of a bonus tour, I wouldn't recommend participating in just this one alone. I think it would be enjoyable as part of a package tour.

日本語ガイドのタスティンさんのグループになりました。
わかりやすい日本語の説明で、ジョークも交えつつのガイドはとても楽しかったです。
もちろんダイナミックな風景が一番の売りなのでしょうが、よりタスティンさんのガイドで一層楽しいツアーとなっていました。
ジュラシックパークの看板前ではどのガイドさんも恐竜人形を持っていて、看板前に普通に立って撮るバージョンと、人形を前景にして襲われているようなポーズの2バージョンを撮ってくれます。
他のグループの撮影風景も見る機会がありましたが、ガイドさんによって様々で、当たり外れがあるように感じました。
チップの事は一言も言われませんでしたが、すごく楽しかったのでバスを降りる時ちょっと多めに渡しました。
今回の滞在で一番気持ち良く、しかも払いたいと心から思って渡したと思います。
楽しめたお礼と、今後同じツアーに参加する人にもまた同じクオリティでガイドして欲しいな、という期待も込みです。
一番先に降車したので、後ろで思い出したようにチップの用意をしてる方も居ました。
払いたいと思えるサービスを受けたので、良い方法だったかなと。
ガイドさんを選べるツアーになれば良いのにな、と思います。

◆ジャングルツアー
一応日本語のガイドさんが居ましたが、声が小さく聞こえにくい。
ジュマンジのロケ地で降りた時のガイドは英語のみ、他の言語は写真つきのA4サイズのラミネートした説明書？をその場で見れます。
ただし、ロケ地で降りた時は英語のみとの説明も無かったので、日本語ガイドさんが再度説明してくれるかと思いきや何の説明もない。
せめて英語の説明しかないって言ってくれればもっと英語ガイドさんのそばに行って聞いたのに…。
でも、このツアーのメインはそういった目的地などではなく、荒れた道でのダイナミックなドライブです。
上りも割りと楽しかったですが、下りのスリル満点、ワイルドなドライブはきゃあきゃあと声を上げて楽しみました。
これはドライバーさんの腕で当たり外れがありそうです。
ガイドさんは外れ、ドライバーさんは当たりのツアーでした。
チップはそれぞれに、ドライバーさんへは普通に、ガイドさんへは少なめに渡しました。

◆昼食ブッフェ
次のツアーまで30分という短い時間でバタバタでした。
味は普通かな、お肉はおいしかった。
フルーツもおいしかったので、お肉とフルーツだけをいっぱい食べたいです。

◆シークレットガーデンツアー
植物を育てているエリアを、ゆっくりとした運転のドライバーさんと、日本語のガイドさんとでまわるツアー。
日本語ガイドはタスティンさんでしたが、映画ロケ地ツアーよりテンションは抑え目。落ち着いた解説と、映画ロケ地ツアーでの解説覚えてますか？と復習があり、楽しく聞きました。
木になってる状態の果物はあまり見る機会が無いので勉強になりました。
ちょっとだけ果物やマカダミアナッツを食べたり、昔のハワイ人が食べていたというタロイモのペーストをマグロのジャーキーにディップしたものを頂いたりしました。
小さい子供が楽しめるように話し掛けていたり、気遣いがあったな、と思います。
オマケ的なツアーなので、これだけへの参加はあまりオススメしません。抱き合わせなら楽しめるかな、と思いました。

I took The Bus to Kualoa Ranch. I had researched it in Japan, but the bus routes had changed, and the bus I intended to take was no longer available, which made me anxious. I figured out that I needed to take The Bus number 60 and managed to get on, but I was worried about whether I would make it on time. The meeting was at 8:30 and the activity started at 9:30, but since the bus was delayed, I ended up arriving after 9. I hurried to the reception, but I was relieved to find that there were no issues and I could participate in the activity. My horse was very capable and calm. Since I have some experience with horseback riding, I wished I could have ridden a slightly more spirited horse. However, it felt wonderful to ride through the great outdoors.

The zipline tour was a great way to spend out and get out of Waikiki. The guides were professional and experienced, making us feel comfortable and at ease. By the end, we wished there were more than 7 ziplines! Highly recommended!

I couldn't get a reservation in the morning, but I was able to book one starting at 2 PM. It took just over an hour to arrive from Honolulu. When I went to the reception, I was instructed to wait around until 3 PM.

Before 3 PM, we watched a video for the explanation. Then we quickly started horseback riding. There were six of us in three groups, and we were the only Japanese. An American woman gave the instructions, and we set off. We crossed hills, passed the filming locations of Jurassic Park and King Kong, and went further to the foot of a higher mountain. The ocean was beautiful.

We rode for a solid two hours, and my legs started to hurt, but it was fun. The horses were well-trained, and the staff were kind; it was okay even if you couldn't speak English. It seems reservations are hard to come by, so I recommend booking early. I would like to go again next year.

- All three attractions were amazing. The location tour, jungle exploration, and historical explanations were all interesting and easy to understand. While looking at other attractions, I definitely wanted to participate in the interactive ones.
- The movie location tour was very intriguing, as there were various filming sites besides Jurassic Park.

This was my second visit to Kualoa Ranch. I was worried because the pick-up from the Sheraton was about 30 minutes late, but the horseback riding experience went as scheduled. Riding while looking at the mountain range and the ocean was amazing. The instructor pointed out that my saddle was tilted and needed adjustment, but I couldn't get it right until the end, which may have put a burden on the horse.
Hawaii has both the ocean and mountains. While there are trekking options in the mountains, the horseback riding experience was so good!
However, perhaps because of the bus delay, we had to get on the return bus immediately after the horseback riding, so there was no time for a meal or souvenir shopping. Well, it was nice to get back early.

今回2回目のクアロア牧場。シェラトンでのPick Upが予定より30分位遅れて心配しましたが、乗馬体験は予定通り。山並みを眺めながら、向こうに海を眺めながらの乗馬は最高でした。鞍が傾いているから調整しろよと指導員から指摘されるが、最後までうまくいかず、馬には負担をかけたかな？
