The basic English support was available, but there was also a Japanese explanation video for horseback riding, which I watched, so even though it was my first time riding, I quickly understood how to ride.
You wear a helmet while riding. You can leave your luggage in a locker and bring valuables and drinks with you (they lend you a pouch).
I was very satisfied with the experience as I could enjoy the scenery of both mountains and the sea in the great outdoors. The horses were also very well-behaved. It was a bit disappointing that the instructor's explanations about the location were often too far away to hear, but they took several photos for me and sent them to my smartphone. For lunch, I had fish and chips at the café inside Kualoa. It was delicious. I had some concerns after reading reviews that mentioned having too much free time, but I ended up not having enough time as I was busy looking at souvenirs.

A super fun adventure!

It was myself and my 17 and 16 year old sons. The tour guides on the trail at the ranch were really nice and informative. So cool to ride through the ranch, up the mountain and overlook the water. Beauty every where you looked. Also, the scenes were movies were filmed was fun to see.
You do get dirty - it was very dry when we went so lots of dust. If it’s wet I image you’re covered in mud. They give you goggles and buffs to cover your nose and mouth. You need them! Another reviewer suggested to bring wipes to wash your face afterwards- solid advice. We did that to get some of the dirt off our faces. Plenty more came off in the shower. Haha
The bus to/ from was comfortable and clean. Only not so great thing I can say is there was a very long wait time from when we arrived at the ranch until our scheduled tour started. Had I known that I maybe would have rented a car and drove up on our own. Price would have been Equivalent, and plenty of other places to stop in along the way. All in all it was a great adventure and I definitely recommend it!

This was so much fun!!! You definitely get super dirty but it is so worth it! You get to see so much of the ranch and the different valleys! We had Jessica as one of our tour guides and she was awesome! She did a lot of fun things with the group to make the experience more fun! If you love Jurassic World, you will love being able to see some cool things from the movie. Definitely a fantastic experience!

It's a two-hour ride through the fields and mountains of Kualoa.

For safety, you will wear a helmet, goggles, and a take-home Kualoa-patterned cloth mask. This is because you'll be kicking up sand and dust for two hours. Our family of four shared one vehicle. The driver must have a valid driver's license. If there is no licensed driver, a Kualoa instructor will drive for you.

There are breaks at key points where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, take photos, and explore movie set locations—it's a packed two hours. After the activity, when you look in the mirror, you'll be covered in dust, and you'll end up laughing as you look at each other. That's the vibe.

Since it's hot, please bring plenty of water.

I highly recommend it.

Really nice activity for those that want to move their legs a bit. These bikes have a motor so for anyone that thinks is not as fit, you can definitely do it! Great vibe from the crew that works at kualoa ranch and they made the ride really fun! Also they are super available to take pictures for you and get in on the fun. Also transportation was on time and everything was organized.

I participated in a mountain bike tour for the first time. Since it was an electric assist bike, it was easy to go uphill. Even a fifth grader enjoyed it. We chose an easy course, and there were eight participants in the tour, with one guide explaining everything in English. The child didn't understand any English, but it was still fun just to explore that miraculous place. We didn't sweat excessively and could feel the refreshing breeze all over our bodies. At the filming location of Jurassic Park, they took photos and videos of each group pretending to be the cast. Everyone got into character, and we shared laughs over each other's performances, spending a wonderful time together.

My first visit to Kualoa Ranch.
I actually wanted to do the Raptor Tour, but the morning tour was fully booked, so I decided on the E Mountain Bike Tour.

I’m 152 cm tall, and I was worried about being able to ride a mountain bike, but I was able to borrow a kids' bike (there happened to be one available). However, since the wheels were small, it was quite challenging to keep up.

As for the content, we were able to visit several movie filming locations, and it felt really nice to experience the wind while biking.

There were 8 people in our team, and the staff were cheerful. They explained various things, so I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had understood what they were saying. I would like to try the Japanese Raptor Tour next time!

Since it was August, I was worried about insect bites, but there were hardly any bugs, and I didn’t get bitten. Also, since we rode for two hours, you can get sunburned! There were quite a few people participating in long sleeves. I recommend sun protection!
The tour was from 9:30 to 11:30. The bus departed at 1 PM, so after the tour, I looked around the souvenir shop and had a light lunch. I had read that the food wasn’t very good, but that wasn’t the case! If I could wish for something, it would have been nice to have a beer.

内容としては、映画のロケ地もいくつか回れたし、自転車ならではの風を感じることができてとても気持ちよかったです。

1チーム8人でスタッフの人も陽気でした。
色々と説明してくれていたので、何を言っているか分かったら、もう少し楽しめたかな・・と思います。
次回は、日本語のラプターツアーができたらまた行ってみたいです！


8月だったので虫刺されが心配でしたが虫はほとんどいなくて刺されることはありませんでした。
あと、2時間自転車で走るので、焼けます！
長袖で参加している人も結構いました。
紫外線対策をおすすめします！！
9:30~11:30がツアー参加。
13時にバスが出発するので、終わった後はお土産ショップ見たり軽くランチしました。
あまり美味しくない、、と書かれてましたがそんなことはなかったです！
欲を言えば、ビールくらい飲めるとよかったのになぁと思いました〜〜。

My sister and I went to Kualoa Ranch for my birthday to do the E-Bike tour, and we are so glad that we did. It was so much fun riding E-Bikes. There was a slight delay in getting started due to the sizes of the bikes being a good fit for the riders. Justice and Christian went above and beyond to find the right bike for each rider. Once we got started on our tour, it was so much fun riding around the ranch. The ranch is so beautiful, and Justice is very knowledgeable with the history of the ranch and shared all of the "Fun Facts" with us during our stops making it interesting. The only negative thing that I could say is that I wish it was a longer ride, I didn't want to stop.
Next time I am in Oahu I will definitely be coming back :)

We were not able to stop at all the sites which was disappointing. I was looking forward to taking pictures of things on the brochures and so I was disappointed. The time in between arrival and your event needs to be planned better. We had to wait two hours before the UTV tour and then another two hours after were were able to board the bus to go home. It would have been great to do another tour of something instead of waiting.

The staff was outstanding and fun. The 10-minute boat ride was informative and not bad at all for those afraid of seasickness.

The pesto chicken wrap that came with the full day package was dry, it needed extra dressing. The included activities (kayak, paddle board, etc..) were good. Beach volleyball nets and balls were ok (bring your own ball if you have it), the sand had a lot of hard marble-sized cones from the surrounding trees, tough on the feet - good shade though.

The full course lasts about two hours, and even if you don't understand English, you can watch a Japanese video for explanations before riding. The main course is in the mountains, but the view of the sea from the top of the mountain was amazing. Since transportation was included, there were no issues getting there and back. While waiting for the horseback riding, you can check out souvenir shops or have lunch at available spots. This tour at Kualoa Ranch is more popular than others, so it's better to make a reservation early. I definitely recommend horseback riding over taking a car at first.

Not what we expected, drove round the hillsides in a bus looking at sign boards that said what was filmed there. Holes dug in the ground claiming they were dinosaur footprints but had to be filled in because cows were falling in them. Also film props of bones that were too fragile to be touched as they will break as they were made of polystyrene... really!

I have experienced horseback riding before, but this one is a long-distance ride of about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
In the great outdoors, there are points of interest such as mountains, the sea, and buildings, creating a route that keeps you engaged.
Honestly, the explanations are all in English, so those who do not understand English may not grasp the details, but I think you can enjoy the great outdoors without any issues.

Amazing Group Activity with Something for Everyone

Kualoa Ranch is an amazing place full of great activities and staff. Our family took the ATV tour of the ranch with guides, Taeil and Orlando. It was 2 hours long with stops for picture opportunities and to soak in the amazing views. The guides shared the history of the ranch as well as fun facts about the movies and tv shows that have been filmed there. Both guides were funny and incredibly personable- truly representing the Aloha spirit. The ATV drive/ride was exciting and fun with the majority being easy to intermediate driving. We have great memories and pictures to last a lifetime. Highly recommend visiting the Ranch and taking part in their wide array of activities.

Horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch was my first experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-hour course. It's pricey, but definitely worth it. All explanations about the filming locations are in English. You can also take photos with your phone, so it's best to prepare a hanging type that allows for quick access. Encountering wild boars and cows along the way was truly moving. You won't get bored even if you stay all day. There are no openings on the day, so advance reservations are essential. Also, be aware that there are only three buses available for the return trip.
