It was quite far from Waikiki, and there was only one road. I think it was pretty far. (It's better to use the restroom beforehand.) When we arrived at the cultural center and went inside, we were taken to have a meal first. It was a buffet, and there were a lot of customers. The food was delicious, especially since I wasn't expecting much. The main Polynesian show had a storyline and was very nice. However, I feel like once you've seen it, that's probably enough.

It was an open rooftop, so we had our meal while getting soaked in the rain. They only provided thin plastic ponchos, and there wasn't much follow-up.

The show and the meal were good, so the weather seems to significantly affect the overall satisfaction.

We have been to Hawaii a couple of times and have been to most if the luaus, but we think the Chiefs Luau has been the best one by far. The food and drinks were very good and the location is very beautiful. The Chief was very funny and the whole show was very entertaining- great hula dancers and exeptional fire dancers. If you are staying on Oahu, do yourselves a favour and go see the Chiefs Luau - you won't be disappointed.

I participated on the last day in Hawaii. The Hilton is very large, so it was difficult to find the venue. The food was just okay, but the show was all in English, and I enjoyed it enough.

Amazing experience

It was the first activity out of four planned for our week. Everyone of us really enjoyed our day here at the PCC this was due to our tour guide mostly but all who were involved were also great. We had the best lunch at pounders and again the dinner was to die for. The breath of life show was an amazing experience. We definitely would recommend this to everyone we know. Aloha and Mahalo Nui loa.

My friends and I had a great time at the Waikiki Starlight Luau!
The location is very convenient and we could just walk from our our hotel. Once we arrived the check-in was fast and we had a friendly staff greeting us with a Hawaiian lei and a welcome drink, nothing better than start the night with a Mai Tai! The food was very delicious and I love the variety of the food, specially the salads. It's great that they have a station specially for the kids.
The show was wonderful, full of delightful performances. My favorite part was the fire knife dance and to learn more about the other Polynesian cultures like Tonga, New Zeland, Samoa and Tahiti.
I would for sure come back to the this luau!

If you're not proficient in English, it might be tough. Over 90% of the participants are American tourists. This isn't specific to this tour, but many American travelers who don't live in Hawaii have some resistance towards Asians (especially older couples), and there are those who openly dislike being around them. If you can't communicate well enough to make jokes, dining at the same table can feel awkward. For someone like me, who struggles with English, the show felt too long and I got bored halfway through. It's a genuine luau show, but if you just want to experience the atmosphere a bit, I recommend a different tour.

We participated as a family of four, and while the food was delicious, I felt it was a bit expensive for the content of the dishes. Also, the venue was hard to find, and it took a while to reach the elevator! The show was in the front row, so it was powerful and truly impressive. I still enjoy watching the video. My grandchild was thrilled to have their favorite turtle tattooed on their arm. We had a wonderful night in Hawaii!

Since we had a Japanese guide, even our small children (a second grader and a kindergartener) were able to understand and have a meaningful time. I believe that having a Japanese guide is essential when traveling abroad with kids!

As soon as we came upstairs to the luau, we were promptly met by the luau staff and directed to our table. On the way there, the dancers greeted us with leis and we received welcome Mai Tais. They have regular and virgin Mai Tais, which were good! Our drinks were never empty and the buffet line went smooth. Try the salad, chicken, and the poi - an excellent combination! The best dessert was the haupia and I also tried some bread pudding - both were very tasty. The show started with the MC singing a beautiful rendition of an American melody in Hawaiian verse. The dancers were excellent and the whole show is well worth seeing if you are in Waikiki.

I understand that it's difficult for small children to sit still. Dining out can be challenging, but here, the spacious grounds with grass and sand allow the kids to run around freely for about an hour after the tour bus arrives and before the buffet starts!

Above all, you can enjoy the unique "sunset over the ocean" that the west side offers. Adults can relax with a drink in hand while soaking in the beautiful sunset, feeling like they've traveled to another island.

The show is also enjoyable, and when it gets dark during the fire dance, looking up at the sky reveals a breathtaking starry night!

Our family was very satisfied!

小さな子供がいるのでじっと座ってられないのは承知の上。外食も難しいところですが、ここなら芝生や砂など敷地が広くツアーバス到着後、ビュッフェまで1時間ほど時間があるので子供たちが思いっきり走れます！
何と言っても西側特有の「海に沈むサンセット」が楽しめます。大人もドリンク片手にキレイな夕日に浸れ他島に来た気分も味わえます。

On the way there, we had a guide who provided detailed explanations, so we arrived sooner than expected. Once we got there, they also gave a thorough explanation about the return bus, which made me feel secure even traveling alone.

As it was a traditional show, there were a lot of people watching. I'm not sure if reservations are absolutely necessary, but I think the day we went it was fully booked. The show was quite impressive, and I believe it's worth seeing at least once. However, being outdoors, it is very much affected by the weather, which is a downside. We watched it in the rain, which was quite disappointing. That said, there's nothing we can do about the weather, so for those interested, I definitely recommend it!

予約が絶対必要かは分かりませんが、僕たちが行った日は満席だったと思います。

The content of the show was very good. The host was entertaining and it was lively. However, as everyone has mentioned, it wasn't exactly a smooth dining experience. The buffet style is nice, but there was a long line. The quality of the food isn't terrible, but it's best not to have high expectations.

We don't received any gift,as they promised. In the bus the Air aconditional was very high,we told them but they don't do anything.
We are on honeymoon and we don't want to have a flu.

I participated with two friends from Brazil in their 60s, two mothers in their 60s, and my husband. Thanks to the lively guide on the bus, everyone was in high spirits.

We were the only Japanese people on the bus and at the venue. I was surprised to find a place in Hawaii with so few Japanese visitors.

There are various paid and free activities before the show starts, and they are all very exciting. Even if you don't participate in the activities, watching the sunset over the ocean is truly magnificent, and seeing the hula in that setting is very moving.

Everything is in English, and I didn't encounter any staff who spoke Japanese, but you can still enjoy it with simple English.

The food was just okay.

The bus ride was about 40 minutes long.

60代ブラジルからの友人、60代母2人、旦那さんと参加しました。バスの中から盛り上げ上手なガイドさんのおかげで皆さんテンションが高いです。
日本人はバスの中でも、会場に着いてからも、私達だけでした。ハワイでこんなに日本人のいない場所があるんだなぁ、と。
ショーが始まるまで様々な有料・無料のアクティビティがありますが、どれもとても盛り上がるものばかり。アクティビティに参加せずとも、海に日が沈んでいく様はとても壮大で、その中でフラを見るのはとても感動的ですよ。
全て英語ですし、日本語を話すスタッフには出会いませんでしたが、簡単な英語でも楽しめます。
食事はまぁこんもんて感じです。
バスで約40分位はあったかな。
