This is far the best show we attended in Hawaii. I hate to see the same shows but this one we will definitely go back and see again. I would highly recommend getting a tour guide to make your experience that much better. Place is huge and will need at least 2 days to see all the villages.

Night show left me speechless and in Awe. I didn't want to end and didn't blink once. Great performers and comedy show.

Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort

The dinner and luau experience at Paradise Cove were very nice. Our bus guide, Rich, was funny and helpful.

When we arrived we were given a mai tai/alcohol free mai tai, a flower lei if you bought the orchid or deluxe package (shell necklace if not), and they take a photo. Then you go in and shop or do activities. We got "Polynesia tattoos", had flower headbands made, held parrots, and threw spears. The lines for the activities take ages.

Unbeknownst to me, the stands that sell all the interesting items close when dinner starts, so if you want to use your merchandise card on something other than alcohol or cheap junk in the Marketplace shop then make sure you do you shopping before dinner starts. Children's merchandise cards can't be used on alcohol. This part was the only downside.

I arrived at the venue about three hours early without a shuttle service, but I didn't know that I needed to exchange my voucher for tickets at the ticket booth. I was informed by a staff member just before the show, and when I exchanged the tickets, I ended up with seats several rows back. I thought that when I paid through Bertelmann, I had already secured my seats. If I had known this, I might have purchased tickets directly at the booth as soon as I arrived, which could have gotten me better seats. It's disappointing that even though I reserved premium seats, it didn't pay off. I probably won't order show tickets through Bertelmann again.

It was a very American tour where the entertainment started already on the bus. The bus guide was amazing! The pre-show entertainment was fun, with a sense of unity amidst the freedom. If you don't miss the signal from the conch shell, you can keep up with the flow. But it's okay if you fall behind! Everyone spends their time as they like, and that sense of freedom is very pleasant.

It's more enjoyable if you can speak English, but if you want to experience American entertainment with your body, you don't need to worry about the language! I recommend this for those who want to have an experience a bit different from a typical Japanese group tour!

The deluxe dinner course is worth the money. The meal is served to you, and you also receive souvenirs and a $24 gift card. We wore yukatas! Since everyone was dressed nicely, there was no need to feel embarrassed. It gets chilly at night, so it's a good idea to bring something to wear over.

I was glad to have such a fun tour. Thank you!

This was truly a great time. We had the deluxe package so we had special seating and an unobstructed view of the stage and entertainers. The weather was great as well as the food and drinks. They took great care of us and attended our every request. They had lots of activities at the cove. They had spear throwing, rafting, lei making and of course hula lessons. If you go to the island make the time to attend a luau and especially at Paradise Cove. It was simply the best.

The tour guide spoke only in English, but it was fine since we just had to follow along. It was a standard plan, but we were able to see quite closely. There was a lot of talking, so I think it would have been more enjoyable if I understood English better. The fire dance was impressive with a large crowd. The food was typical buffet fare, and the only traditional Hawaiian dish was kalua pork. If you're not specifically looking for Hawaiian cuisine, it was enjoyable enough.

What a great experience. The buss was right on time. The driver was funny and knowledgeable. She talked about the island as we drove to the Sea Life center. The Laura was very well organized, the setting was amazing. Made you feel like you were miles from anywhere. The show and culture was perfect. The fire dancers were my favorite. Food! Wow, very well done. I highly recommend this Laura. We were not disappointed, I actually figured these thing are touristy and would not have much Culture in the program. Not this one. It's great I thought.

This is my husband's fourth time in Hawaii, and since he has never seen a dance at this cultural center, I recommended it as someone who has seen it several times. I have taken hula and Tahitian dance lessons and have practiced with the dancers here, so I have seen their practice sessions. Being professionals, their practice was quite thorough. I think the dancers have a high level of awareness.

The dance has a storyline, and my husband really enjoyed it. I'm glad I recommended it! If you haven't been to the Polynesian Cultural Center, I definitely encourage you to go at least once.

As for the buffet, the variety of dishes was surprisingly limited and incomplete. However, there were plenty of crabs, so it might be good for crab lovers.

I stayed at Aulani and used the local gathering for this experience. I made my reservation based on reviews and experiences that mentioned you could still enjoy it even if you didn't understand the language. Understanding the flow of the event in advance helps you enjoy it smoothly. Conversely, if you don't know what to expect and can't understand the language, it might reduce the enjoyment.

I participated in the "Deluxe Dinner Package." Entry for the deluxe package is guided by staff, and after receiving a drink and taking a commemorative photo, you are seated at your designated table (it doesn't seem to be based on the order of arrival). You will need to show an age verification document (like a passport) for alcoholic drinks.

You receive a card charged with $24. You can use it to order drinks or buy souvenirs. Soft drinks were around $7. Water and coffee are available for free.

You can enjoy events until the show starts. You can get tattoos, and make headpieces and arm decorations. You will need $1 for this, so be sure to prepare it in advance. Additionally, you can play games like javelin throwing and canoeing.

If you head towards the sound of the conch shell, there will be mini-events. You can see someone climbing a palm tree barehanded and dropping flowers, and you can watch a net fishing demonstration. Finally, a whole roasted pig is brought out from the ground, signaling the start of the buffet.

In the deluxe package, the food is served to you, and staff come to take drink orders. Considering that you receive a commemorative photo, I would recommend it over the standard package. They bring more food than you can eat.

The show included several interactive segments in addition to hula dancing. People celebrating anniversaries were invited on stage, and during the wedding hula dance, couples celebrating their anniversaries also danced, creating a charming, foreign atmosphere. There was a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary!

During the fire show, the park goes completely dark, but looking up, you can see a sky full of stars, which was beautiful.

While I wouldn't say it's a must-visit since it's quite far from Waikiki, if you're staying around Ko Olina, definitely check it out. My 70-year-old mother also enjoyed it very much.

Since Hawaiian shows are not easy to come by, if you're staying at the Hilton, I think you won't regret going to this one located on the rooftop of the parking lot. There are more locals than Japanese people. You can fill your plate with buffet-style food from the good seats in order. It's better not to expect much in terms of taste. However, the content of the show is worth it. The final fire dance, in particular, is impressive.

A bus came to pick us up in front of the hotel we were staying at, and the guide was a college student from Hawaii. The buffet was so plentiful that we couldn't finish it all. The drinks were tropical and refreshing.

Above all, the Polynesian show was absolutely fantastic!

On the way back, we couldn't find our bus and were wandering around, but we were able to catch a ride on another tour bus.

If we had a little more time, I think we could have bought some souvenirs.

This isn't normally the sort of thing my husband and I do, organised fun isn't really 'us'. However the Luau at Paradise Cove was absolutely brilliant. The food and entertainment were fantastic, even our hotel pickup was brilliant (Thank you Cousin Mo!)
I honestly can't recommend this experiment enough, a great night, we loved it!!!

The bus ride to the Polynesian Cultural Center was ok. The guide who spoke most of the way there was not very entertaining. He did pass on a few useful tidbits, but not many considering he spoke for almost an hour and a half. The guide we got at the PCC was difficult to understand and was apparently supposed to shepherd about 20 or 30 people around. Since you had to be very close to him to be able to hear and understand him, most of what he said was missed by most of his charges. He led us from presentation to presentation for 2.5 hours, then, as he sent us on our way to our dinners, he gave us maps of the place. It would have been nice to have a program or something to explain what it was we were seeing in these presentations. The Luau was just ok. Waiters were passing out drinks in pineapples to select people...I was unaware of any offer of those drinks. I assume there was a separate charge, but I have no idea. The food was mediocre and the show after dinner was not much better. Then we went to the main event...HA, breath of life. Once again, we were not given any explanation of what the performance was showing us. A brief one-page synopsis would have been extremely helpful. Overall, I was very disappointed with this tour!

The bus guide was Japanese, and for about an hour on the way, she talked a lot about Hawaii. Thanks to her, I felt like I was sightseeing during the journey. I chose the cheaper buffet, but there was everything from salad to dessert, and even a space where they cut the meat for us, so we were very satisfied. I had heard that we would be seated in the back, but in reality, we were in the fourth row from the front, which allowed us to feel the excitement of the show, and I was really happy about that.

I participated with my mother based on a friend's recommendation. I was very satisfied with the evening tour. There was nothing inconvenient, as the shuttle bus also had a Japanese guide. The night show was incredibly powerful, and I would definitely like to see it again if I have the chance. I highly recommend it to those who are going to Hawaii!

I was a bit confused about the meeting place, but the Japanese guide found me.
The dance show itself was wonderful, but I fell asleep partway through, probably due to travel fatigue...^^;
The buffet was neither great nor terrible... it was just okay.
I feel like once was enough.

待ち合わせ場所がいまいちよく分からず少々戸惑いましたが、日本語ガイドさんが見つけてくれました。
肝心のダンスショーは素晴らしかったですが、旅の疲れか途中眠ってしまいました…^^;

We had a wonderful time. Staff were great, always smiling with a great sense of humor. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Time flew by (in a good way). Performances (especially fire knife dance) were entertaining; they kept the audience involved. Arrive early (4:30pm) to avoid the long lines to get in and the activities once inside.

So entertaining and full of interesting facts about the Polynesians and their surrounding cultures.
The dancing and singing was beautiful and the food was amazing.
The Chief was hilarious and really made our anniversary night extra special and gave me flowers!

Being born and raised in Hawaii, I am familiar with the food and culture. I took my friend who had never been to Hawaii wanted to see something different other than the Polynesian Cultural Center...wish I had gone there instead, but the experience wasn't for me but for her and she didn't know the difference..... Staff was friendly, park was clean, food was good, entertainment was mediocre

The experience was so much more than we expected. Loved the humor of the bus guide, the staff at the luau and the Chief. Could not have asked for more fun under the stars with a beautiful scenic backdrop.

It was the last day of my trip and I had no plans, but I made a last-minute request!

Thank you for your quick response to my reservation just four hours before the pickup!

I think it's better to make a reservation with more time in advance (laughs).

I was able to enjoy the long bus ride!

The cultural center was even more enjoyable than I imagined!
