It takes about an hour by bus to get to the cultural center, but the guide was interesting and kept things lively, so I enjoyed it. I didn't understand the words spoken during the show, but I was able to grasp the content to some extent and experienced Polynesian culture. Additionally, the fire dance show in the second half was very impressive, and everyone applauded enthusiastically. However, my middle school son didn't find the buffet food to his liking and could only eat salad, meat, and crab.

Since I participated during the New Year period, it felt different from the usual place. I enjoyed the sunset and the evening atmosphere at that time. I chose a great seat, right in the center at the very front, and it was moving to see the hula dance up close.

The food was served buffet style. There was a wide variety, including salads, meats, rice, noodles, and desserts. I could order up to three drinks with a ticket, so I ordered Mai Tai and beer.

There were many types of hula dances, and I was able to see about ten different groups perform. The beautiful movements of the hula were very captivating, and the powerful dances by the men using fire sticks were impressive as well.

年末年始に参加したのでいつもの場所とは違ったようですが、
時間帯的に夕焼けの日の落ちる感じと夜の雰囲気を楽しめて良かったです。
良い席にしたのでど真ん中の一番前の席で間近でフラダンスが観れて感動しました。

ごはんはビュッフェスタイルです。
サラダやお肉、ごはんや麺類、デザートまで種類は豊富でした。
飲み物は3つまで頼めるチケットだったのでマイタイやビールなどを注文。

フラダンスの種類？も豊富で全部で10組くらいのフラダンスを見ることができました。フラダンスの美しい動きはとても魅力的でしたし、男性が火の棒を使って力強いダンスをするのも迫力があって良かったです。

We learned so much from the talented performers...The canoe celebration was a treat...so very crowded for viewing, but it was the Christmas holiday break. I splurged a bit and got the Diamond Seat. Since it's priority entry, you hardly have to wait. The stage is close. You get some snacks before the meal (other grades don’t include this). You can start the buffet right away. Anyway, the stage is so close that the atmosphere is incredible. Everything is in English, so I can't fully understand, but I get the gist and enjoy it quite a bit, so no worries. It was drizzling, but they provided ponchos. Right after entering, there's the customary photo opportunity. They come around to sell photos during the meal, but it's fine to decline. The photos are quite expensive at $50, but I usually buy them as a keepsake at other shows too. Looking around, it seems like Japanese people are declining while foreigners are buying. The buffet isn't luxurious, but it's not bad. The hula and luau were wonderful. If you participate, definitely go for the Diamond Seat. The middle grade is directly in front, but it's behind the Diamond.

優先入場ですのでほとんど待ちません。ステージが近いです。食事前のおつまみが付きます（他のグレードはなし）。ブッフェは最初にスタートできます。とにかくステージが近いので臨場感半端ないです。全て英語なので完全に理解できませんが、何となく理解できてそこそこ楽しめます、心配ありません。雨交じりでしたがポンチョの配布もありました。入場直後にお約束の写真撮影があります。食事中に売りに来ますが断って問題ありません。写真は50ドルとかなりお高いですが、まあ記念にと他のショーでも購入しています。周りを見ると日本人は断り外国人は買っている感じです。ブッフェも豪華ではないですが悪くないです。フラ、ルアウとも素晴らしかったです。参加されるならダイアモンドシートですね。真ん中のグレードは正面ですが、ダイアモンドの後方です。

PCC was a lot of fun and had so many different things to do. This was my third time coming to the center. I got there at noon, had their lunch buffet, and visited a few islands before seeing the new canoe show. Huki replaces the canoe pageant and is a lot more elaborate: there's a narration, music, and many more canoes in the water. The show as a whole is a lot more impressive, just make sure you get there early to get good seats in the shade.

After the canoe show we went to a few more villages (Samoa, Fiji, Tonga) before having our fancy prime rib dinner. I preferred the setting of the fine dining option to the luau dinner, as it was quieter and they have ice cream. Crab legs were also a bonus. After dinner, I had an hour or so to spend at the Hukilau Marketplace before the night show, so I browsed around. The night show was great. It put together things from every village presentation along with music, lights, and a longer story that connects all of it. The show is pretty long though, so use the bathroom beforehand (no intermissions).

PCC is a fun way to spend a day in Hawaii and learn a lot about Polynesian culture. Even if you've been there before like me, there's always something new to see or try!

During the show, we couldn't take still images or videos, but we were able to take fun commemorative photos with the members afterwards. What mattered most was that our child enjoyed it. Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort

My wife and I for our 1-year wedding anniversary decided upon the Paradise Cove Luau out of a few different choices. After speaking with locals and drivers on the island, this one seems to be the favorite. We were picked up from a close-by location in Wakiki, taken to Paradise Cove and from there, it was smooth and fun times!

PROS: Overall experience was great! Our bus guide (Sexy T) was fun-loving, funny, and made the drive out to the cove enjoyable. The luau itself includes spear throwing, traditional games, pictures (for purchase towards the end but free to participate), a short cove canoe ride, gift shop, crafts both to make and pre-made for sale, and many other activities. The food was second-to-none, buffet style and DELICIOUS. Coming from a southern guy, the pork was the best and I know good BBQ. The luau show was entertaining and keeps your attention.

CONS: The cove card is nice, pays for 1-3 drinks depending on the money placed on there (which depends on your package), but with any venue event, the drinks are pricey but, in my opinion, strong enough to be worth the money. I only list this as a con because this is not an all-you-can-drink event. Adding this option would be nice for those guests that wish to imbibe.

As for seating, we went with the Standard Package (cheapest) and lucked up with excellent seats that were very close to the stage. There is a greater likelihood for poorer seats with the Standard Package, so if you want to ensure a good view, upgrade to the middle option.

All-in-all, fantastic experience and a must-see for all Hawaii travelers, especially first-timers like us!

I'm glad I chose the deluxe option. The meal was more than enough with half a crab leg, and the roast beef was delicious, along with the taro bread, leaving me completely satisfied. The show had a perfect seat in the front row center. It felt like a musical with a storyline, and I really enjoyed the impressive performance.

The transfer from the Ala Moana pickup location took just over an hour by bus, but we had a lovely guide named Mea, a cute Japanese woman studying at a local university, who kept us entertained with sightseeing information, so I didn't even doze off. On the way back, I was so full and content that I fell asleep in the bus, and before I knew it, we had arrived, so the travel time didn't bother me at all.

I highly recommend it.

アラモアナ地区ピックアップ場所からの移動は１時間強バスに揺られて行くのですが、車中ではＭｅａさんという現地の大学で勉強中の日本人の可愛い女性のガイドさんが退屈しないように観光ガイドなどしてくれながらでしたので居眠りもせずに到着。帰路はお腹一杯・胸一杯で車中ぐっすり、これまたいつの間にか到着したので移動時間は気になりませんでした。
お勧めです。

Due to bad weather, the scheduled dolphin snorkeling tour was canceled, and I decided to quickly go to this Polynesian show that I had been somewhat interested in for a while. Ultimately, while it was very disappointing not to swim with the dolphins, I truly felt that it was wonderful to be able to attend such an amazing show that made me forget that regret.

Since I participated in a tour that included only dinner and the show, I didn't have time to explore the entire park, but it seemed to have better facilities than I expected, so I think it would be enjoyable to come during the day as well.

Additionally, my advice would be to try to sit as close to the stage as possible when watching such shows. If you're seated in the front, you can experience the real Polynesian show at a distance where you can feel the performers' breath and the energy of their movements.

I highly recommend visiting this place at least once.

悪天候により予定していたイルカシュノーケリングツアーが中止となり、以前より少し気になっていたこのポリネシアンショーに急遽行くことを決定しました。

I thought the final bus stop on the way back was Aloha Landing, but I was dropped off at a completely different location and had to walk for about 30 minutes. This was due to a lack of explanation, and I will strongly request that this be addressed in the future.

I wasn't quite sure where the shuttle bus stop was, and the travel time was a bit long, which are negative points. But other than that, it was truly wonderful! The food and the show were enjoyable, and time flew by.

Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort

Fun, but it could have been better

We purchased the “Orchid” package. It included adult and youth cove card. I wish all the vendors would accept the cove card. Only selected ones did, so that was a bummer. Why give you a cove card if not all the vendors would accept?

The show was fun and the staff was friendly.
The food was ok. There were food flies on the bread, so that was off putting.
The view was amazing!
