I had a wonderful night where both my stomach and heart were 100% satisfied. First, I nibbled on fruits and cocktails before dinner, gradually building my anticipation. When I was seated right in front of the stage where the show would take place, I enjoyed a delicious dinner, including lobster, filled with excitement. The menu was sophisticated and well-suited to Japanese tastes.

Finally, the long-awaited show began. The beautiful and intricate hula dance performed by women, along with the intense male dances that used real fire, were captivating and kept my eyes glued to the stage! Under the theme of the fusion of rock and hula, the stage transformed continuously, with diverse songs, atmospheres, and costumes that never got boring. As the venue was filled with excitement, soon Elvis, Michael, and Celine made their appearances, and the show ended on a high note. I believe this is the best entertainment you can find in Waikiki.

It was quite far from Waikiki, and there was only one road. I think it was pretty far. (It's better to use the restroom beforehand.) When we arrived at the cultural center and went inside, we were taken to have a meal first. It was a buffet, and there were a lot of customers. The food was delicious, especially since I wasn't expecting much. The main Polynesian show had a storyline and was very nice. However, I feel like once you've seen it, that's probably enough.

The location was within the Royal Hawaiian Center, so it was convenient and close to the hotel where I was staying.

The show featured traditional Hawaiian dances and impersonations (?), alternating between them, and the time flew by. However, there were many songs I didn't know, so I thought it would have been better to study some songs by Michael and Presley in advance. The venue had strong air conditioning, so I recommend bringing a long-sleeved jacket.

ショーの内容もハワイの伝統的なダンスとそっくりさんのモノマネ（？）ライブと交互にあり時間があっという間に過ぎました。

If you prefer non-alcoholic drinks, just say "non-alcohol please" and you will receive a non-alcoholic option♪ Alcoholic drinks come with clear straws, while non-alcoholic drinks have red straws as a marker! After that, we moved to the venue where the show was held and enjoyed a delicious meal (´ω｀). The luxurious lobster was the most impressive dish! The waitstaff were friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable! The show featured impersonators of famous celebrities like Michael Jackson, and it was truly moving to see them up close! I watched my first hula show in Hawaii. Since I had the chance, I opted for the green room package with dinner. It included welcome champagne in the green room, a commemorative photo with the performers, a backstage tour, and a course meal. I think it's quite affordable at under $200 compared to other hula shows. The explanation during the backstage tour was all in English, so there were parts I didn't fully understand. I was able to watch up close, and I could feel the heat from the fire dance. I would love to participate again if I have the opportunity.

We have been to Hawaii a couple of times and have been to most if the luaus, but we think the Chiefs Luau has been the best one by far. The food and drinks were very good and the location is very beautiful. The Chief was very funny and the whole show was very entertaining- great hula dancers and exeptional fire dancers. If you are staying on Oahu, do yourselves a favour and go see the Chiefs Luau - you won't be disappointed.

I was looking for a hula dance show and found this one based on the great reviews.

I chose the VIP plan, which included a dinner course. We enjoyed a course meal at our table before watching the show. The shrimp and meat were both incredibly delicious and there was plenty of food. The staff was also very kind.

We were able to watch the show right from our seats in the front row. The hula dance was very cute and glamorous. The fire dance was also very impressive.

Not only was there hula dancing, but there were also performances by Michael, Elvis Presley, and Celine Dion. There were many songs I recognized, and it was so much fun. Everyone clapped along and got really into it. I think it’s highly recommended for both women and men. Michael was really a look-alike, and he sang beautifully, which made it enjoyable.

I truly had a wonderful time. After the show, I was able to take photos with Michael, Celine Dion, and Elvis Presley. It felt like I met stars.

I definitely want to go again when I come back to Hawaii. I highly recommend it.

It was the first activity out of four planned for our week. Everyone of us really enjoyed our day here at the PCC this was due to our tour guide mostly but all who were involved were also great. We had the best lunch at pounders and again the dinner was to die for. The breath of life show was an amazing experience. We definitely would recommend this to everyone we know. My friends and I had a great time at the Waikiki Starlight Luau!
The location is very convenient and we could just walk from our our hotel. Once we arrived the check-in was fast and we had a friendly staff greeting us with a Hawaiian lei and a welcome drink, nothing better than start the night with a Mai Tai! The food was very delicious and I love the variety of the food, specially the salads. It's great that they have a station specially for the kids.
The show was wonderful, full of delightful performances. My favorite part was the fire knife dance and to learn more about the other Polynesian cultures like Tonga, New Zeland, Samoa and Tahiti.
I would for sure come back to the this luau!

Whatever your preferences are, you'll probably only have one chance in your life to see Elvis perform live on stage with a group of talented Polynesian dancers. Throw in a pretty great luau dinner and you can begin to see why this show is so popular. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the artists that were featured that night, but it is still really entertaining to see a group of people so devoted to their craft. I highly recommend this for couples staying in Waikiki.

If you're not proficient in English, it might be tough. Over 90% of the participants are American tourists. This isn't specific to this tour, but many American travelers who don't live in Hawaii have some resistance towards Asians (especially older couples), and there are those who openly dislike being around them. If you can't communicate well enough to make jokes, dining at the same table can feel awkward. For someone like me, who struggles with English, the show felt too long and I got bored halfway through. It's a genuine luau show, but if you just want to experience the atmosphere a bit, I recommend a different tour.

We participated as a family of four, and while the food was delicious, I felt it was a bit expensive for the content of the dishes. Also, the venue was hard to find, and it took a while to reach the elevator! The show was in the front row, so it was powerful and truly impressive. I still enjoy watching the video. My grandchild was thrilled to have their favorite turtle tattooed on their arm. We had a wonderful night in Hawaii!

Since we had a Japanese guide, even our small children (a second grader and a kindergartener) were able to understand and have a meaningful time. I believe that having a Japanese guide is essential when traveling abroad with kids!

As soon as we came upstairs to the luau, we were promptly met by the luau staff and directed to our table. On the way there, the dancers greeted us with leis and we received welcome Mai Tais. They have regular and virgin Mai Tais, which were good! Our drinks were never empty and the buffet line went smooth. Try the salad, chicken, and the poi - an excellent combination! The best dessert was the haupia and I also tried some bread pudding - both were very tasty. The show started with the MC singing a beautiful rendition of an American melody in Hawaiian verse. The dancers were excellent and the whole show is well worth seeing if you are in Waikiki.

I participated during a company trip. For those who know Presley, it must be irresistible! I also enjoyed it since Michael Jackson and Celine Dion are from my generation. The dining area is on the first floor, with one drink included (cocktail show) on the second floor, and the show only is at the back of the second floor. Even with a last-minute entry, I was in the second row from the front on the second floor. If you enter early, the front row would be... I think it would be fun. Note: The air conditioning is effective, so it's better to have something to wear.

I understand that it's difficult for small children to sit still. Dining out can be challenging, but here, the spacious grounds with grass and sand allow the kids to run around freely for about an hour after the tour bus arrives and before the buffet starts!
