Due to the impact of the typhoon from the previous day, I thought, "Will it be canceled?" as I headed to the venue, which was supposed to take place as scheduled. The event was held not outdoors, but in a hotel convention hall. However, they smoothly guided the approximately 500 attendees, and the show started on time. The singing and speaking of the male vocalist, whose voice resonated well, along with the powerful dance performances, were no different from what you would experience outdoors. The food was delicious (I was particularly impressed by the tenderness of the roast beef and went back for seconds!) and you could enjoy two drinks (beer or soft drinks). After the show, I took photos with the dancers and felt great as I stepped outside, only to be met with a downpour that made me wonder if it had been canceled. Of course, it must be amazing outdoors as well, but I had a valuable experience. The reservation process was easy, the food was tasty, and it was fun to be surrounded by lively groups of foreigners.
P.S. There was no fire dance since it was indoors.

Had a great time!!
Our driver/guide was awesome. I won't forget him! I can't recall his name because it was extremely long, but he did an EXCELLENT job guiding us through the island during our drive to PCC. This is our first time to Oahu and he did such a great job in getting us familiar with the area. He was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome, like we were his own Ohana. He made sure everyone knew which luau we were supposed to go to, where the main theater was, and even where to meet up afterwards for the drop off back to the hotel.
The Polynesian Cultural Center is an AMAZING place! Theres a 15 minute boat ride that takes u around the center to visit the different villages.
The luau was entertaining with great food!
The show was INCREDIBLE!! I really enjoyed watching all the dances. Especially the fire ring guys!!
We went for the late entry and we thought it was still well worth it! Definitely a must go.. and a must go again!!!

Thank you for your assistance via phone and email, even with my last-minute reservation before departing for Hawaii. Thanks to you, I was able to create wonderful memories. The bus pickup was on time, and the guide's stories made the ride enjoyable. The deluxe meal was quite rich and luxurious, and the dessert presentation was impressive. I was very satisfied that it wasn't just a typical buffet found at tourist spots. Despite booking the day before, I got seats in the 10th row, right in the center for the show, which was fantastic. I was also very pleased with the ice cream service during the show. This time I chose the twilight course, but next time I plan to take my time and spend the whole day. The luau at Paradise Cove is amazing, which is surprising considering how little it is advertised in tourist information in Japan! It's a fantastic tour that can't be summed up in just one word. An American from the mainland boasted, "You have to see this when you come to Hawaii. It's absolutely unmissable!" It seems to be quite famous in the U.S., and there were people who took vacations just to experience it.
Once you get on the bus, the guide is full of energy, and the tour begins in an exciting atmosphere.
First of all, the location is fundamentally different from the mock luaus held around hotels. The venue is set in a resort area, making it feel like a genuine festival (luau). Participating in various events while watching the sunset over the ocean is a delightful part of the luau experience.
However, if I had to point out one downside from a Japanese perspective, it might be the question of whether the food is suitable for a dinner show. Well, the buffet-style Hawaiian cuisine... might be a bit too bland. Aside from top-tier hotel buffets, this is probably the norm.
But once the lights go down and darkness falls, it becomes truly spectacular! As the spotlight shines and the intense flames dance, the show begins with a mix of enchanting hula performances that drive toward the climax. The excitement and emotion are so overwhelming that the taste of the food fades away.
I was impressed by the service, such as when a shy girl got the chance to go on stage... Truly, this is Hawaii's No. 1 luau! What I think about now that I'm in Hawaii is, "This is something you absolutely can't miss!"

I booked a deluxe package because I wanted to see the night show from a good seat. The show was very impressive and absolutely fantastic. I was happy to have a seat in the fifth row from the front, close to the center. It felt just like the final scene of the movie "Hula Girls" (of course, it was much more authentic).
I also participated in a daytime tour around the park, where I could watch a small instrument show and had a brief experience with hula and ukulele. However, I wished there were more flexible options for how to spend the daytime. In my case, I wanted to see the night show from a good seat but also had a strong desire to take a hula workshop during the day. I consulted with the guide, but it wasn't possible. I had heard from a friend who works at a travel agency that such changes could be accommodated, so I was hoping to ask the guide on the day of the event. However, the guide who assisted us had only been in the role for three months, so they might not have been accustomed to handling irregular requests.
I was very moved by their efforts to preserve and pass on Polynesian culture. I highly recommend visiting!

I participated with my daughter, who is in the second year of junior high school. I knew this tour would be quite an adventure for Japanese people, but it exceeded my expectations as a native tour. On the large bus, we were the only Japanese, and after the guide mentioned that they didn't understand Japanese, there was not a single word of Japanese for the entire 7 hours. I was quite confident in my English skills, but the rapid-fire talking on the bus, the American jokes, and the translations couldn't keep up. Moreover, the guide encouraged a sense of camaraderie by suggesting handshakes and shoulder rubs with our neighbors to liven up the party (luau)! This was also true at the venue, where we sat at tables by bus, making communication essential. It was challenging in many ways, but it was a fresh Hawaiian show even for me, who has been to Hawaii five times. As someone else wrote, the important thing is to remember your bus number and return time (around 9:30). Once you arrive, there are many free activities until meal time, so participate actively! There are shows like climbing palm trees and net fishing signaled by the conch shell, so be sure to check those out! It's important to participate actively. The Polynesian Cultural Center explains the history and differences of the islands clearly, but this tour was all about participation centered around dance, so they can't be compared. It was a tour that made me truly feel the American spirit of enjoying the moment. If you can think, "It's okay if I don't understand English," it becomes easier. It might be better to have a larger group to enjoy together!

He then took us to dinner a little late, and we were seated in the waaay back of the line, which makes a difference. The tables go to the buffet in order, so if you are towards the back, it's slim pickin's. The buffet itself was average, although considering what we paid, was below average for the price. We opted for the deluxe dinner package w/ VIP seating and it was well worth it. The only downside to the whole trip was that the bus was late leaving the pickup point (seems to be a regular problem with them for some reason but you quickly learn the meaning of "Hawaii time") so we had less time to check out the grounds but a great time anyway. Cousin Kahale was quite entertaining on the bus and had explained everything to us by the time we got there. Once we arrived we received our leis and were whisked away to begin our VIP treatment. We had a personal escort take us inside, get our complimentary photos taken at the entrance and given a personal tour of the grounds and where to find everything. I would definitely recommend bringing several bucks extra in cash if you're like me and love getting the full experience,

I think this luau show is special. For those who want to spend a memorable Hawaiian night and enjoy the charm of the magnificent dances and spiritual Hawaiian hula, it will surely be a lifelong memory. The location is also fantastic; you can enjoy hula while being tickled by the pleasant sea breeze near the beach, listening to the sound of the waves, and watching the beautiful sunset glowing in vibrant orange.
What makes this show special is its location and atmosphere. You can't experience this in the middle of Waikiki. While being on Oahu, it has a neighborly vibe, and people from the mainland flock to participate in this show, which is said to be the most popular in Waikiki.
I really enjoyed conversing with a family from San Francisco that I met there. I will definitely participate again.
