We booked a Hawaiian show at the request of my elderly father, who wanted to see it during our three-generation family trip, thinking that the young grandchildren would enjoy it as well. The show that followed, after moving to the audience seating, was fantastic. From the second floor, we had a great view of the stage, and the children, who had been dozing off before it started, were completely captivated once the show began. Since it was my second time attending, I chose a seat in the back, but being in the last row made it hard to see the cast's expressions, and I ended up not really understanding it. Therefore, I highly recommend sitting in the front.

There have been many posts saying the food was good, so I had high expectations, but I felt it wasn't that great.

I participated with my husband and our children, who are in the first year of middle school and fourth grade. After arriving at the culture center, we spent about 30 minutes sightseeing. We took a light walk and took some photos before hurrying to the buffet for our meal. Well, it might not have been a very leisurely dining experience. You can also go straight to the restaurant without sightseeing, so that's flexible. The crab legs were salty and disappointing, but the juice was delicious!

The show was story-driven, and at one point, I felt overwhelmed with emotion. There were many wonderful dancers, and the stage was impressive! Even the kids, who didn't understand the language, said they enjoyed it, and as a mother learning hula, I was happy too! They seemed to be overwhelmed by the fire dance, which was their first time seeing it.

I'm glad we chose the mini bus for transportation. I considered renting a car, but with being in an unfamiliar place, jet lag, driving on the left, at night, and about a 50-minute one-way trip... it would have been impossible to drive, as I discussed with my husband on the way back. Quite a few people were sleeping on the way there.

If I have the chance to go again, I definitely want to take a daytime tour next time. I was envious of those who had baskets and leis they made at the experience corners in each village!

夫と中1、小4の子供とで参加しました(^^) カルチャーセンターに着いてから、30分位を観光に使いました。軽く歩いて写真を撮ったりしてから、急いでビュッフェに行き食事をしました。まぁ、あまりゆっくりした食事時間ではなかったかもしれません。観光せずにすぐレストランに入ってもいいので、その辺りは自由です。カニ脚は塩っぱくて、期待外れでしたが、ジュースは美味しかった！

ショーは、ストーリー仕立てになっており、途中胸がいっぱいになりました。たくさんの素晴らしいダンサーが並び、圧巻のステージでした！言葉のわからない子供達も楽しかったと言っており、フラを習う母としても嬉しかった♪初めて見るファイヤーダンスには圧倒されたようです。

またミニバスでの送迎にして良かったです。レンタカーで行く事も考えましたが、知らない土地、時差ボケ、左ハンドル、夜、片道50分ほど…運転は無理だったね、と夫と話しながら帰りました。結構な方々が往きの道のりから寝ていらっしゃいました。

もしまた行くチャンスがあれば、今度は是非昼間からのツアーで行きたいです。各村での体験コーナーで作ったカゴやレイなどを持った方々が羨ましかった〜！

This time, since we were in Hawaii, we decided to enjoy this fun show. I made a reservation through Veltra, which offered a plan with some nice perks. At first, I was a bit worried about using Veltra, but on the day of the reservation, I headed to the venue and had no trouble checking in at all. I've already used Veltra for various activities and shows about five times during my two trips to Honolulu, and there have been no issues!

For this Rock-a-Hula show, I enjoyed the VIP dinner that came with the special reservation. We started with the meal, and I had the impression that the food at these types of shows is usually not very good, but I thought the food here was quite decent.

Next up was the start of the show. First, there was an Elvis Presley impersonator, followed by a female singer, and then a Michael Jackson impersonator. All of them had great singing abilities, and I really enjoyed watching Michael's dance. The fire dance was also impressive and enjoyable.

Since the dinner package can be a bit pricey, I would recommend just attending the show without the meal.

ベルトラから予約をすれば嬉しい特典があるプランで予約をしました。
最初はベルトラ⁉︎大丈夫なのかと思いながら予約当日予約会場へ向かいましたが何のトラブルもなく受け付け出来ました。
既にホノルル2回の旅行の内5回程ベルトラ利用で色々なアクティビティ、ショーを予約しましたがもう無問題です！
今回のロックアフラショーですが、嬉しい特典予約あるVIPディナー付きで観覧しました。
最初にお食事を頂きますが、この手のショーのお食事は大した物が出ない印象が強く有りましたがこちらのお食事はまぁまぁ良かったと思います。
お食事の次はいよいよショーの始まりです。
最初にエルビスプレスリーのそっくりサン次に女性シンガーサン続いてマイケルジャクソンのそっくりサン、どの方も歌唱力が有りマイケルのダンスも楽しく拝見できました。
ファイヤーダンスも迫力が有りよかったですよ。
お食事付きだと少し料金がかさみますのでショーのみの鑑賞をオススメしたいですね。

We participated as a family of four. This was our fourth trip to Hawaii, but it was our first time at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
On the bus ride there, we enjoyed the scenery as we passed along the east coast of the island. The guide's commentary was also great.
Since it was a tour that included only dinner and the show, we didn't get to explore much of the center, but I felt it was a very beautiful and pleasant-themed park.
The show was story-driven and entirely in English, but I was able to understand it well enough. Above all, I was overwhelmed by the scale of it. The final fire dance was spectacular, and the crowd was really excited.
Next time, I definitely want to go during the day.

On the third day of our five-day stay in Hawaii, we attended the Rock-a-Hula show. We used this for our honeymoon trip.
This was our first time experiencing the cast show.
Although most of the staff and cast members didn't speak much Japanese, the check-in and dining processes went very smoothly, and we had a wonderful time.
The facility was very clean and stylish. Especially in the waiting hall when we entered as VIPs, we were served very cute snacks, which made my wife very happy.
The show itself featured famous impersonations that even people in their 20s like us know, and it was so diverse that we were completely absorbed, with no time to catch our breath.

I definitely want to use this again on our next trip to Hawaii.

ショー自身は20代の私達でも知っている有名な人のものまねショーとなど客席をMAXまで使用したショーなど多彩で息をつく暇も無いほどに見入ってしまうほどでした。

又、次回ハワイへ旅行の際は利用したいと思った一つでした。

We participated as a family with children. First of all, I was satisfied with the buffet, but I felt the time was too short. Right at the start, the kids were called to participate in games. After that, we danced together and it seemed fun, but we hardly had time to eat. Once we finished our meal, we quickly moved to the show venue, so it would have been nice to enjoy a bit more chatting.

歌が上手な女性の方がおりましたが、知っている歌が非常に少なく、ちょっと残念でした。
家族にはショーの間に眠くなったものもおりました。
ただ、最後の方にファイヤーダンスが見られて、時間はかなり短かったですが見ごたえがあり楽しかったです。
トータルとしては、やはりせっかくのハワイなので、せめてフラはちゃんと見たかったため「少しがっかり」を選びました。

Since we had the buffet, when we were seated, they served us pineapple on our plates, and we could choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic Mai Tais. After the second drink, there is a charge. After the meal, we moved to the venue, but I wasn't sure about the timing, so we went to the venue after finishing our food. We took a photo with a Michael impersonator at the entrance. When you think of Hawaii, you think of hula dancing! While you can see hula dancing for free at shopping malls, a friend recommended a luau, and I wanted to find a tour where I could enjoy a meal while watching the show. This tour had excellent access (right near T Galleria) and I thought it was worth the price. However, I deducted one star because I think the age group that likes rock music may vary. For fans of Elvis and Michael Jackson, there’s more to enjoy than just hula dancing, and even if you're not from that generation, there are enjoyable shows included (^ - ^).

Even for someone like me who usually eats quite a bit, I was satisfied with the food and drinks. The quantity was good, but the quality of the ingredients was solid, so I think it would be great for food enthusiasts as well. It was a content that could be enjoyed by people with various purposes!

Our departure from Waikiki was around 3 PM, which was just right for our arrival in Hawaii. I chose the premium meal, and it included half a crab! The buffet was also very delicious, and I was extremely satisfied. After the meal, we had free time to explore. The show was grand and very enjoyable. Although it was entirely in English, I think even those who don't understand English will find it easy to follow, as the story is explained on the bus. While we can't take photos during the show, there is a photo session afterward. There are two bus stops for the return trip, so it's best to be careful not to get confused.

This is a show that I've been curious about every time I visit Honolulu. This time, I decided to book through VELTRA. I was torn between the VIP option and the buffet, but I chose VIP because I thought about the possibility of rain during the outdoor buffet. It turned out to be the right decision.

The pre-dinner cocktails, appetizers, and the main four-course dinner were perfect. Many others have posted about the food, so I won't go into detail, but the lobster, steak, salmon, and dessert were all delicious.

Now, regarding the show… to be honest, I didn't have high expectations, so I was surprised! The show's structure, the dancing, and the impersonators' singing abilities were all impressive. There was a slightly more polished Elvis and a Michael with a bit of a belly, but both their singing and dancing were wonderful!

毎回ホノルルに行くたびに気になっていたショーです。今回思い切ってVELTRAさんから予約しました。VIPにしようかビュッフェにしようか悩みましたがビュッフェ席は外での食事で万が一お食事中に雨が降って来たら…と考えてVIPにしましたが大正解でした。
食事前のカクテル、おつまみ、そしてメインの4コースディナーと完璧でした。他の方がたくさんお食事のこと投稿していますので書きませんがロブスター、ステーキ、サーモン、デザートとっても美味しく頂けました。
さて肝心のショーですが…はっきり言ってそんなに期待はしていませんでしたのでびっくりしました‼️
ショーの構成といい、ダンスといい、ソックリさんの歌唱力全てに驚きました。
ちょっとスマートなエルビスとお腹がちょっと出たマイケルでしたが歌もダンスも素晴らしかったです❣️
マドンナのソックリさんが出演するのを楽しみにしていましたが今回はお休みだったようですので次回に期待して又行きたいと思います。
VIP席はステージの真ん前の席でしたので迫力があってよかったです。
最後にそっくりさんたちと写真も撮れとっても楽しいハワイの夜になりました

I used the Terrace Luau Buffet & Show. The Mai Tai before the meal and the buffet were all delicious. The bread, in particular, was very tasty. I was completely full. It was a shame that the drinks were a bit pricey, but I was glad to have coffee. The show was also very impressive, and the time flew by. We waited in the lobby for about five minutes with a Mai Tai cocktail (there's a non-alcoholic option as well) and snacks (if we had arrived earlier, we could have enjoyed more fruit). We were very satisfied with our VIP seat reservation, but the people in the second-floor seats who came just to watch the show without dinner were also very enthusiastic. マイタイカクテル（ノンアルもあり）とおつまみでロビーにて5分程待機（もっと早く行けばフルーツ沢山食べられた）。その後案内されて二人用のテーブルへ。スケジュール表がありそれによるとショウは20時から1時間15分程。お隣に居合わせた新婚さんと楽しくおしゃべりしながら美味しい食事（メニューの写真参照）とお酒でそれほど長く感じる事無くショウタイムに。ショウは大まかに言うとエルビスプレスリー、マイケルジャクソン、彼らとフラの共演。フラ単独。ファイヤーダンス。といった感じで実際どれもすばらしく特にマイケルジャクソンのダンスと女性ボーカルの歌唱力には来たかいがあったなと思いました。ファイヤーダンスも迫力がありました。妻はもっとフラが見たかったようですが。今回はVIP席の予約でとても満足でしたが2階席の食事無しのショウだけを見に来た方々もとても盛り上がっていました。何枚か写真を添付しましたので参考にしていただければと思います。次回はヒルトンハワイアンビレッジのショウにも行ってみたいねと二人で話しています。
