My experience was great. We booked the tour just two hours before the last bus leaves Waikiki. So the agent called us to confirm if we can get the bus from the next stop which was only 4 blocks away. We went to Paradise cover and the tour guide kept everybody entertained. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

This luau has many activities (lei making, archery, pulling in fish, birds, sunset viewing). The fire dancers are the best! Our bus ride was fun too (Cousin Sexy).

I participated two years ago and had a great time, so I joined again this time. Unfortunately, even though it was the weekend, it seemed like there were fewer tourists than last time, and it felt a bit lacking in excitement (I participated at the end of February). As mentioned in the review I referred to last time, the hula dancers at Ko Olina seem to be very talented, and I was impressed by their beautiful hula, but this time I wasn't as moved. It might be because it was my second time... If you participate during a busier season, I think it will be more lively and enjoyable.

残念なことに、週末でしたが前回よりもツアー客が減っているようで
いまいち盛り上がりに欠けた気がします。（2月末に参加）
前回参考にさせて頂いたレビューにもかかれましたが
コウリナのフラダンサーはレベルの高いダンサーが揃っているようで
とても素敵なフラで感激しましたが、今回はあまり感激しませんでした。
2度目だったからかもしれませんが…
ツアー客の多い時期に参加されれば、盛り上がるので楽しめると思います。

the food was good and all the activities but after we finished eating it poured down rain .Those of us sitting out in the open tried to get to cover , There was room in a covered eating place and they would not let anyone in .After the rain quit then they provided ponchos for us ( a little too late )

I've participated in luaus multiple times, and in just two hours, you can learn about Hawaii's history through an engaging show. An elderly American couple from the mainland celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary and came on a commemorative trip with their daughter and her husband. The husband raised his hand to report this to the host, and everyone congratulated them—typical of America! But I think there were only about two other Japanese couples besides us? We forgot that we were foreigners (laughs).

Had a great time at the Royal Hawaiian luau this week. It was much more than simply hula dancing and a fire show. The performances were short acts telling the story of the Hawaiian culture and history through song and dance. I could feel the passion for Hawaii in the host of the evening as he was setting the scene for each act. Interestingly, he was one of the actors in the original Hawaii 5.0!

Before the show started, it was fun to learn and actually see the process of how Hawaiian people made the material for their clothing. It was actually made of out sticks!

Food was plentiful and tasty with lots of variety. Highly recommended experience. The setting was beautiful on the lawn with the beach and an amazing view of Diamond Head in the background. A very special evening!

What a wonderful evening. Perfect location, beach front right at the heart of Waikiki, with a beautiful views from Diamond Head. The Royal Hawaiian Hotel is the most tradition hotel in Waikiki, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help you.
Before the dinner and the show start you can learn more about Hawaiian traditions. The buffet has a big variety of dishes and the food was very tasty. The drinks were very good too.
The storytelling of the show is very interesting they talk about Hawaiian history starting when the first Polynesians arrived, passing by the Royalty time and until it became the 50th state. The dancers and the singers are fantastic!
Great evening under the starts, good food and friends. I would definitely come back again and I I recommend Aha Aina Luau to everybody!

If you're not proficient in English, it might be tough. Over 90% of the participants are American tourists. This isn't specific to this tour, but many American travelers who don't live in Hawaii have some resistance towards Asians (especially older couples), and there are those who openly dislike being around them. If you can't communicate well enough to make jokes, dining at the same table can feel awkward. For someone like me, who struggles with English, the show felt too long and I got bored halfway through. It's a genuine luau show, but if you just want to experience the atmosphere a bit, I recommend a different tour.

I understand that it's difficult for small children to sit still. Dining out can be challenging, but here, the spacious grounds with grass and sand allow the kids to run around freely for about an hour after the tour bus arrives and before the buffet starts!

Above all, you can enjoy the unique "sunset over the ocean" that the west side offers. Adults can relax with a drink in hand while soaking in the beautiful sunset, feeling like they've traveled to another island.

The show is also enjoyable, and when it gets dark during the fire dance, looking up at the sky reveals a breathtaking starry night!

Our family was very satisfied!

小さな子供がいるのでじっと座ってられないのは承知の上。外食も難しいところですが、ここなら芝生や砂など敷地が広くツアーバス到着後、ビュッフェまで1時間ほど時間があるので子供たちが思いっきり走れます！
何と言っても西側特有の「海に沈むサンセット」が楽しめます。大人もドリンク片手にキレイな夕日に浸れ他島に来た気分も味わえます。

We don't received any gift,as they promised. In the bus the Air aconditional was very high,we told them but they don't do anything.
We are on honeymoon and we don't want to have a flu.

I participated with two friends from Brazil in their 60s, two mothers in their 60s, and my husband. Thanks to the lively guide on the bus, everyone was in high spirits.

We were the only Japanese people on the bus and at the venue. I was surprised to find a place in Hawaii with so few Japanese visitors.

There are various paid and free activities before the show starts, and they are all very exciting. Even if you don't participate in the activities, watching the sunset over the ocean is truly magnificent, and seeing the hula in that setting is very moving.

Everything is in English, and I didn't encounter any staff who spoke Japanese, but you can still enjoy it with simple English.

The food was just okay.

The bus ride was about 40 minutes long.

日本人はバスの中でも、会場に着いてからも、私達だけでした。ハワイでこんなに日本人のいない場所があるんだなぁ、と。
ショーが始まるまで様々な有料・無料のアクティビティがありますが、どれもとても盛り上がるものばかり。アクティビティに参加せずとも、海に日が沈んでいく様はとても壮大で、その中でフラを見るのはとても感動的ですよ。
全て英語ですし、日本語を話すスタッフには出会いませんでしたが、簡単な英語でも楽しめます。
食事はまぁこんもんて感じです。

As mentioned in everyone's experiences, they did not understand Japanese when ordering alcohol. However, I enjoyed it enough, and the food was delicious. I think it's definitely worth a visit for those staying at hotels in the Ko Olina area. I felt that even the cheapest seats were sufficient.
