I went with four colleagues from work. The Polynesian Cultural Center is quite far away.

We only had the buffet and show package, but once we got there, there were various activities, so it might be worth considering the full-day package to enjoy everything.

I honestly didn't have high expectations for the buffet, but it was surprisingly delicious, so I was very satisfied.

I spent about 80% of the show sleeping, so I won't comment on it. However, my colleagues watched it properly and said they were "moved." I secretly thought, "How can you be moved when you don't understand English!?"

The staff were all kind and welcomed us with smiles. The initial flash show and fire show had high-level dancers and were very good. They came down from the stage, sang, and showered guests with flowers and shook hands, providing great service. I spoke with a Michael look-alike during the final photo session, and he was a modest person with a personality similar to Michael's!? I had a one-year-old with me, but thanks to the child sleeping through the show, I was able to concentrate on the performance. I'm also happy that we could take photos at the end! There were many Michael fans and honeymooners. It was so much fun!!

I've been to Hawaii countless times, but just like how people living in Tokyo may never have climbed Tokyo Tower, I've passed by the Polynesian Cultural Center many times, thinking I could go anytime... and it's been decades. This time, I finally went to see the show! I was just so moved ❤! Even though I didn't understand the words, I was completely drawn into the show, and it was the best moment! On the way back, my bus was parked in a different location, and I panicked a bit with the tour group, but I definitely want to bring my parents next time!

Dinner was in a buffet style and it was delicious. I went with two of my other friends were about 25 yrs old. It was our first time in Hawaii and were skeptics of the luau, but we were in Hawaii might as well experience it. And it was great !!! The price was a little steep especially with the Canadian exchange rate. We got complimentary Mai tai at the door received our beautiful lei and shown our seats. The venue was amazing!! There was a lot of activity but we opt for getting drinks with our cards and watched the sun set!!! The food was great could go easy on the salt tho but the show was awesome I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. And the stars were out and overall all we had a blast. Added side note the dancers are veerrrryy good looking like wow!

I absolutely love this place! I felt like I was at home, surrounded by so many culture. My tour guide "Kilisi" was such a doll, she was so Kind and funny. The Luau food was great and so was the "HA: Breathe of Life" show. I always being surrounded by so much culture. New Zealand Island was amazing! I felt like I was back in NZ when they performed.

First of all, the car ride to the Polynesian Cultural Center was super cold! The air conditioning was too strong, and I asked others to adjust it, but... When we arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center, a Japanese exchange student guided us, and they were very pleasant and likable. They provided simultaneous interpretation during the show, and the stories while we were on the boat were interesting and kept us engaged. The buffet had a limited selection, and I thought, "Well, this is what it is..." However, the night show was powerful and moving. We had standard seats, but there were no issues with visibility. After the show, I was worried about finding the bus in the parking lot, but I found it right away. I thought it might have been nice to stay a little longer.

I participated in the afternoon tour. I was sound asleep on the bus as usual (laughs).

In the afternoon, we toured the park with a Japanese university student guide. The sun was quite strong, and since we would be walking a lot, it’s better not to carry heavy things. I think it’s more enjoyable to join a tour rather than just wandering around, as we got to hear various stories about the Polynesian countries. The show from Tonga was lively, with a Korean person really getting into it. It seemed like the English wasn’t getting through, and their funny movements made me laugh a lot.

For lunch, I chose the luau, which was a buffet of Polynesian cuisine. There was quite a variety, and it was fun. They even had a whole roasted pig! I selected desserts that weren’t too sweet, and I was satisfied with the meal. While enjoying the food, we could also enjoy dances on stage and participate in audience interaction dances. It might be fun for newlyweds! Couples from newlyweds to those who have been married for a long time came up to celebrate, greeting everyone and doing a simple dance... it was a wonderful show.

デザートも甘すぎずのものを選び、満足いく料理でした。料理いただきながら、ステージで踊りや、お客さん参加型のダンスなどが楽しめる感じです。新婚さんはいくと楽しいかも！ご夫婦新婚さんから熟年の方まで、お祝いで参加している方が前にでて、挨拶と簡単なダンスをするという。。。すてきなショーでした。

夜のショーは迫力満点で、劇団四季とか見ている感じで、楽しかったです。
疲れて寝てしまう人もいたけれど。。ファイヤーショーもすごかったし、見に行ってよかったです！

It was very powerful and moving! I highly recommend it as a finale for your trip to Hawaii.
I signed up for the deluxe course early on. The difference between the deluxe and standard courses is the dining and the seating for the show. I definitely recommend the deluxe course!
The meal is served buffet-style, and even if you get tired of barbecue, the roast steak is really delicious. Also, the fried chicken tasted a lot like Kentucky Fried Chicken and was tasty.
The seating for the show is chosen randomly, but I was lucky enough to be in the second row from the front.
The show is composed of English and a local language that I couldn't quite understand, but you could sense what they were trying to express. The fire dance was very powerful, and even from the second row, I could feel the heat of the flames. The dancing was very synchronized, making it enjoyable to watch and listen to. I highly recommend it!

This time, I participated from noon. As soon as I arrived, the canoe show started, and I was already overwhelmed from that point. Is it held once a day? I think this show is a must-see.

The guide was a student, but he answered our questions accurately (though he did forget some things occasionally, which was funny), and it was very educational. The experiences that showcased the characteristics of the region were also enjoyable.

For the meal afterward, I chose the deluxe option, and I was satisfied. The banana ice cream was delicious. And finally, it was time for the show. We were in the second row, right in the middle, so the intensity was incredible, and the energy came through directly.

The experience started with dinner, and then we leisurely watched the show. Those who reserved VIP seats were able to enjoy cocktails and snacks before dinner. The bus arrived about 30 minutes late in Hawaii time! However, the entrance where the optional tour people from Hyatt gather was filled with Westerners! I was impressed and waited, thinking these people must be going too. We gathered at what is called Paradise Cove and received cards to charge the $12 on-site. The bus only spoke English, but that was interesting in its own way. They told us which bus number to take, and since there were only about five buses, it was hard to make a mistake.

Upon arrival, I got a Mai Tai and entered the park. It seemed like they didn’t need ID, as my face clearly looks like I’m over 50! (laughs) We practiced hula together, climbed palm trees to scatter flowers, and some guests were made to do strange dances like a beach seine. (I felt safe since Japanese people probably wouldn’t be chosen! (laughs)) While doing various activities, the sun set, and when we got our food and drinks and sat down, the show began. It was standard but enough! It was amazing. It took a bit of time to buy drinks, so I didn’t think about drinking too much... (laughs) However, I got full quickly without taking too much food. The taste was decent, about the same as a plate lunch, and it felt sufficient.

I really felt like I was in Hawaii. Looking up at the sky, I was impressed by how beautifully Orion and Canis Major were visible! Of course, the dance and fire dance were also fantastic.

３０分くらい遅れてハワイ時間でバスは到着！しかし、ハイアットのオプショナルツアーの人が集まる玄関には欧米人だらけ！この人たちも行くんだろうなぁと感心して待つ。パラダイスコーブと呼ばれて集まって１２ドルを現地でチャージするためカードもらいます。バスではもちろん英語のみですが、それはそれで面白い。とりあえず何番のバスだと言われますし、バスも５台もないので間違えようがないです。到着し、マイタイをもらって園内に。身分証明とかどうみても５０歳の私の顔ではいらないみたいです。（笑　フラの練習をみんなでやったり、ヤシの木登って花を撒いたり、地引網みたいなことを一部の客にへんな踊りさせてやってもらったり。（日本人は当たらないだろうから安心して（笑））いろいろしている間に日が暮れて、料理を取って、飲み物をとって、席に着くとショーが始まります。スタンダードで十分！最高でした。酒は買うのに少し時間がかかるので、そんな飲もうと思わないように。。。（笑　しかし、食べ物もそんなにとらなくてもすぐにおなか一杯になりました。味はそこそこ、プレートランチ並みの味で、これで十分って感じでした。とにかくハワイに来たって感じかがしますね。そらを眺めるとオリオンと大犬座がきれいに見えたのが印象的でした！もちろん、ダンスやファイアーダンスも最高でしたよ。

I visited the Polynesian Cultural Center about 20 years ago, and I was satisfied with how much more content there was this time. The canoe show and the experiences in the village especially became great memories. The guide was also a student from Japan. However, it got a bit tiring since it was late at night.

I signed up for the standard plan because the 50th anniversary campaign price was a great deal. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but there were more varieties than I anticipated, and the portions were quite generous, so I was pretty satisfied. The show was undeniably moving. With a story-driven progression, there were various dances to see, and it was very impressive. Perhaps because it was a bit far from Waikiki, there weren't many Japanese people around, but the large theater was packed with an audience, which made me realize how popular it is.

I made a reservation for the night of my arrival on Oahu! We had dinner at a different restaurant beforehand. The show was so lively, in a way that you don't see in Japan, and I had a great time!

Since it's located in the center of Waikiki, I was able to go shopping while still in a festive mood. At the end of the show, we could take photos, and I took one with Michael and Celine!

One disappointing thing was that since it was close to the hotel, I opted for no transportation, but the explanation for the voucher was unclear, and I had trouble purchasing the tickets. It said "meet on-site," so I waited in front of the ticket counter, but when the time came, I ended up buying them myself. There were many Japanese people who seemed to be guides, but there was no announcement or anything. I thought there would be someone there since it said to gather, but that wasn't the case. It might be an issue of comprehension, but I wish it had been explained more clearly.

I arrived early and waited, but ended up in the back row, so I feel like there's no point in reserving through Veltra next time. The audience was about two-thirds full.

In response to the above comments, I will give the lowest rating due to the standard response. The show itself is wonderful, so I recommend it to those who are unsure!

ワイキキの中心部にあるため盛り上がった気分のままショッピングに行けます。ショーの最後には写真撮影もでき、マイコーとセリーヌと撮りました！
ひとつ残念だったのは、ホテルから近かったため送迎なしにしたところ、バウチャーの説明が分かりづらくチケット購入に手間取りました。
[現地集合]とあり窓口前でずっと待っていましたが時間になってしまい、自分で買いました。ガイドらしき日本人もたくさんいましたが呼びかけも何もありませんでした。集合というからには誰かいるものだと思ったのですが違ったのですね。読解力の問題かもしれませんがもっと分かりやすく記載して頂きたかったです。
せっかく早く着いて待っていたのに結局後ろの席になったため、次はベルトラで予約する意味はないかなというかんじです。客入りは3分の2くらいでした。

I only attended the evening session, but I think it would be better to go from the afternoon. I believe you can enjoy a full day there. The food was also delicious.

I thought the dynamic dance show was great. However, since photography was not allowed and there was no alcohol (beer was okay, but...), it felt pretty ordinary.

Polynesian Cultural Center Tour Ticket - Full Day Admission, Dinner & Show

I booked the late entry since we had a cruise in the morning. We had some time to go around a few villages but we wish we booked the all day package. The show was beyond my expectation and they did a superb job putting it together. It was very dramatic and entertaining. You must visit Polynesian Cultural Center when you come to Hawaii.
