On the last day of our trip, I was moved to tears by a wonderful show that was perfect for concluding our journey. I recommend paying a little extra for seats closer to the front! Although it was quite pricey, it was worth every penny. My mother, who is in her mid-70s, was also deeply impressed.

With the ocean and Diamond Head as a backdrop, the show was based on history and was so moving that even those who aren't fluent in English could appreciate it. The singing and dancing were incredible and truly touched my heart.

The food was plentiful and delicious, but unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all since we don't eat much. The drink tickets included three drinks plus coffee, but we couldn't use all of our drink tickets. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I attended with my 7-year-old child. I was prepared for basic English, but thanks to Shoot's consideration, the magic show included some Japanese, allowing both my child and wife to understand and enjoy it very much. It was a type of magic that you don't often see in Japan, and it helped me rediscover its fun! If there's another opportunity, I would definitely like to participate again.

Last year, I learned that there was a luau show at the Royal Hawaiian, and I participated for the first time. I was happy to hear my parents, who have seen various luau shows, say that it was great. I definitely want to repeat this experience when I stay in Waikiki. This time, we entered in time for dinner, but I am also interested in events that teach about Hawaiian culture. If you're looking to see a hula show, I had my mind set on the Aha Aina at the Royal Hawaiian. Of course, I signed up for the front row seating plan. Since the price difference between regular and front row seats is minimal, I recommend going for the front row.

The show itself was simply amazing! With mesmerizing dances, comedic performances, passionate dances, and powerful fire dances, there was never a dull moment—it flew by in no time.

The dinner included an appetizer, a main course, and a generous dessert platter, so much that I couldn't finish it all. As expected from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, everything was delicious. The ticket also included three drink vouchers, so I thoroughly enjoyed Mai Tais, Blue Hawaiis, and Piña Coladas.

It was a senior trip with three friends, and we were blessed with great weather; the sunset and location were perfect. I was able to listen to Hawaiian music live for the first time in a while, and I had a wonderful time enjoying the elegant dance and delicious food. Recently, it felt like luaus have been focusing mainly on hula and fire dancing, so I was really happy to hear Hawaiian songs live. If I have the chance again, I plan to visit once more.

Since we were the only Japanese couple, Mr. Akira Ogawa approached us before the show started and explained, "I'll include some Japanese as we go along." Once the show began, the host entertained us with fun magic tricks and jokes in easily understandable English. During Mr. Ogawa's show, I was even called upon as the only participating Japanese person, which allowed me to feel a sense of unity with the other audience members, transcending the language barrier in what felt like a brief but enjoyable hour.

I've been to Hawaii over twenty times, but since I usually focus on outdoor activities, it was a great decision to participate in a show this time. It was truly enjoyable to see Mr. Ogawa's magic, which is said to be the best in the world, up close.

Having experienced many shows across Hawaii, I must say the Magical Mystery Show in Waikiki stands out as one of the absolute best. Accompanied by my 10-year-old niece, we were both completely mesmerized by the sheer brilliance of this performance.

The ambiance and decor of the venue transported us back to the enchanting Victorian era, and it was a delightful immersion into a world of wonder and magic. Not to mention convenience of its location made it very accessible for a non-driver like me :)

However, the true highlight was the exceptional magician whose performance was nothing short of spectacular. Their mastery and skill were evident in every act, and they had the audience's attention captivated throughout the show. My niece, in particular, was enthralled and thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and was so excited when she was called up to assist!

All in all, the Magical Mystery Show in Waikiki is an absolute gem, and definitely a must-see for anyone looking to have an evening filled with enchantment and awe~

The magic shows I attended in Hawaii (30 years ago and 10 years ago) were so wonderful that I tried to find and book one, but it seems the magician from back then has retired. This time, I saw a different Japanese magician for the first time, and he was an amazing performer, just as good as the previous ones, allowing me to have a very fulfilling time. It was great to watch up close, and the entertaining talk created a fantastic atmosphere. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't figure out the right timing for when to go to the restroom or order additional drinks. Also, the introduction before the show started and the waiting time after the gathering was quite long. Furthermore, I found it inappropriate to be standing in line while being offered cocktails; it felt rather rude. If possible, drinks should be served at the venue.

これまでハワイに来た時に(30年前、10年前)観たマジックショーがあまりにもすばらしかったので、探して申込もうとしましたが、当時のマジシャンは引退されたようでした。今回初めて異なる日本人マジシャンを観ましたが、まさるとも劣らぬ素晴らしいマジシャンで、とても充実した時間を過ごせました。至近距離で観させて頂いた事、トークが面白く幻想的な雰囲気である事が良かったです。トイレに行きたい時や飲み物の追加注文等の可否のタイミングが良く分からなかったのは残念でした。又、本番が始まるまでの導入部と集合時間以降の待ち時間が長い。又立って並んで待っている時に飲み物のカクテルを飲ませるのは頂けない、寧ろ失礼かと思います。どうせなら飲み物は会場で。

This was my fourth trip to Hawaii, but it was my first time experiencing a full-fledged dance and dinner show. I think the concept was "traditional Hawaiian cuisine," so I can't honestly say it was "delicious," but it was a good experience.

I had allergies, so I contacted the address listed on the website in advance, but I received no reply. Even after sending a reminder, I still got no response. However, on the day of the event, when I mentioned, "I have allergies," they responded with something like, "I know, leave it to me!" and brought out dishes that accommodated my allergies. To be honest, I would have appreciated a reply if they had seen my email.

Also, it was disappointing that the scallop dish turned into a salad mainly consisting of baby greens (and without any dressing at all), which felt like a significant downgrade in the menu.

That said, the show itself, including the dance, was wonderful, and I was glad I paid a little extra to secure seats closer to the front! (The venue is quite large, and if you're at the very back, you're pretty far from the stage.)

After the show ended and we finished our meal, we left, but there were others taking photos with the dancers, so I think it's a good idea to speak up if you want to take pictures.

4回目のハワイ旅行でしたが、本格的なダンス＆ディナーショーは初めてでした。料理は「ハワイの伝統料理」がコンセプトだったと思うので「おいしい」とは正直言えない感じでしたが・・いい経験になりました。

アレルギーがあったので事前にHPに載っていたアドレスに連絡するも返信なし、リマインドするも返信なしでしたが、当日「アレルギーがあるんだけど」と伝えたら「知ってるよ、任せて！」みたいに言われて、アレルギー対応された料理が運ばれてきました。メール見たなら返信欲しかった、というのが正直なところでした。
そして、ホタテがベビーリーフメインのサラダ（しかもドレッシング等いっさいかかっていない）になるなど、かなりランクダウンなメニューになってしまったのも残念でした。

ただ、ダンス含め、ショー自体はすばらしく、数千円上乗せして前の席を確保してよかったと思いました！（結構会場は広く1番後ろだとステージから結構遠いので）

ショーも終わり、料理も食べ終えたところで私たちは帰ったのですが、ダンサーさんたちと写真を撮ってる方もいたので、撮りたい方は声をかけてみるといいと思います。

The Magical Mystery Show at the Hilton Waikiki Beach is seriously one of the best things to do in the evening in Waikiki! My friends and I had an absolute blast from start to finish. When we arrived, we were greeted with a delicious cocktail and escorted into the Museum of Curiosities. There, a talented magician entertained us with captivating stories about how King David Kalakaua brought the concept of "salon performance" to Hawaii from England. Once we discovered the secret password, we entered the main theater. Let me tell you, the room is cozy and beautifully decorated with vintage furniture and comfy chairs.
But here's the best part - the interaction with the performers was absolutely outstanding! It honestly felt like we were getting our own personal magic show. The close-up magic was incredibly engaging, and it was a hit with both the adults and the kids. We laughed so much and were completely impressed beyond words by the mind-blowing tricks! Every single part of the magic show was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable. And let me just say, it was totally worth every penny! I can't recommend it enough!
Seriously, what a unique activity. It's perfect for a rainy day or any day, really. You're guaranteed plenty of laughs. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Highlight of our holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed the live singing and cultural experience.

The venue was next to Sheraton, we opted for premium seating which had front row seat to the show and more drinks.

The bartender who clearly wasn't happy to be there (there's table service we found which were much more pleasant), so we avoided the bartender there onwards.

The food was lovely except for the 2nd course where 4 sources of protein were served (chicken, fish, pork and something else) and it was heavy.

The highlight were the singing and dancers, we had a really lovely time and the weather was superb with the beach background and gosh what a beautiful sunset.

With the Royal Hawaiian Hotel behind us, we enjoyed a hula dance show in a charming square while learning about Hawaii's history. All the guidance was in English from the reception, but the staff were warm and welcoming, making for a very comfortable experience. The staff came to our table to confirm drink orders, and dinner was served buffet-style, allowing us to help ourselves. During the welcome activity, we could freely visit a corner showcasing traditional Hawaiian crafts from our table, taking photos and having fun. People from various countries gathered around their tables, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an American garden party. The food was delicious, and the show was substantial, making for a truly satisfying experience!

I reserved a front-row seat. The host only spoke in English, so I couldn't understand anything they were saying... but I knew this in advance and could get the vibe, so I accepted that. The problem was the food.

After the drinks were served, the appetizer? It was served in a bento box-like container, and it was bad. Then we were served a plate with a mix of chicken, beef, and pork. Not many people around me finished their meals. We paid nearly 100,000 yen for this meal. What a letdown. The show itself was only good during the last 15 minutes. I was glued to the fire dance, but before that, it was a bit dull.

I booked this hoping my kids, who are visiting Hawaii for the first time, would feel the essence of Hawaii, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hefty price.

Loved experiencing this right in Waikiki! The location at the Royal Hawaiian hotel was really convenient (no long bus rides) and the food was 10 out of 10. It started to rain a bit during the show and within minutes, the servers brought out towels to everyone so we could stay dry and catch the last bit of the show. Service was fantastic. Would recommend the extra to get the Premium seating closer to the stage.

This family trip was all about enjoying the classic experiences of Japan. This show was the best among them. The buffet was decent, overall good. The professional show was impressive. The location with the sunset over the ocean as a backdrop was also nice. My wife and daughter were taking lots of photos.

The venue facing the beach had a perfect atmosphere with the ambiance of the setting beach and the area illuminated by the bonfire. The food was delicious, and it was completely different from the luau I experienced at another hotel, which was very nice.

Thanks to choosing the premium seats and arriving early, I was able to enjoy the show from the front row. If you arrive late, you might end up with seats further back, so I recommend arriving at the designated time.

ビーチに面した会場で、暮れゆくビーチの雰囲気やかがり火で照らされた会場など、雰囲気も満点でした。
