There was live music on the cruise, which made us feel like we were in America! The activities were also fun. It seems essential to bring a jacket or a change of clothes, as it was quite cold.

I was lucky enough to encounter sea turtles twice. There were also many small fish, and it felt like swimming in an aquarium; it was simply the best. The sea was cold in some areas, and the rocks were rough, so it seemed better to rent a wetsuit. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Crew was great, my family really enjoyed it. Lots of fish to see, my wife seen a turtle and really liked the experience. If you’re not a strong swimmer or out of shape I would suggest not booking. I found swimming against the current hard but my wife and daughter are stronger swimmers than me and had an easier time.

It was tough having to swim closely together with 9 participants. While snorkeling, we had to keep an eye on the guide's position, and it became difficult to swim when everyone was too clustered. I thought it would have been nice to swim a bit more freely.

Amazing Morning Out

Really enjoyed our Morning out. The crew and Captain made the trip so much better. Honestly, their energy was off the charts, the music was good, enjoyable for all ages (we went as a couple in our mid 20’s and loved it, there were children loving it and parents older than us that were having a blast!)

I’d recommend the photo package, we didn’t get it but looking back and seeing how many pictures Tom took is outstanding. It’s the only photo package I’ve seen so far that guarantees 300 real photos of you minimum.

We’ve done a lot of trips on this holiday and this was probably the best crew I’ve seen. Can’t rate them high enough. Wish I could remember all their names but I can’t. Either way, amazing team to have.

I’m so glad we booked this excursion during our 2 day whirlwind tour of Oahu. We have a friend that’s on the island so we came over from vacationing on Maui to visit. Check in was super easy. The boat was clean and well kept and the crew was amazing. Loved the live music on the journey to and from the sandbar. Once we arrived, there was a little something for everyone. Paddleboarding, kayaking, hanging out on a floating platform or snorkeling! They even had inner-tubing and banana boat rides for an extra fee. The views of the island were stunning. Trip lasted roughly 3 hours so plenty of time to still explore the island after. Shout out to Preston and Jesse for all the aloha and good vibes. It was a super fun trip and we highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. It’s a really great excursion.

Although it wasn't guaranteed that we would see dolphins, we were able to see many of them. The boat was comfortable, and the staff really got everyone excited, making for a very enjoyable day. The early morning gathering was a bit challenging, but it made the day feel longer, which was very fulfilling. I also had the experience of seeing the great nature of the land from the boat, which was an excellent experience. Although the snorkeling time was a bit short, we were able to see a sea turtle and many fish. It was a lot of fun. Thank you!

Everything in the title and description is not only accurate, but does not disappoint! Festive and fun the whole time... beautiful setting with the smaller islands and mountains surroundings, standing a mile off shore in the middle of the bay. Nice touch having the floating lounge, and thoughtful idea providing fish treats for snorkeling(!) The music Jessie and crew played on board, and DJ-ed during activities was awesome--so much fun dancing with the fish! We only wish could have had more than one go of the banana boat and bumper tube. Worth doing more than once on a trip here, definetly--almost tried walking in backward when we were leaving

My husband and I took our family to Hawaii for spring break. We always at the kids do something different. I thought they might be hesitant, but they tried The banana boat and the bumper boat and loved it, probably one of the most fun things they did on this trip. The only thing I would say I was disappointed about this excursion was that the description said they will provide soda or coke with lunch but we got lemonade instead. The bathroom on the boat also needs to be restocked before taking the next ride out. There were no soaps or hand sanitizer to use. Besides this, we had such a fun time.

The staff was super friendly and we had a fun time. We were able to see a turtle and lots of fish. They supplied snorkel gear and drinks/soda. Just remember to bring a towel because it can get chilly. Location was easy to access as they are on the beachside of dukes Waikiki. Definitely recommend Manu Kai..

Good price, good location, fun crew.

Need to provide something more than meet-at-the-bathrooms-of-a-marina for mustering instructions. There were no crew/personnel at said marina bathroom well past the appointed time. The check-in process was haphazard at best, and did not instill a lot of confidence in the crew's ability/professionalism. The shuttle brining additional guests from Honolulu/Waikiki was very late and delayed our departure by more than 30 minutes (of a three hour cruise). This is obviously not the crew's fault and there is nothing they could have done about the traffic; however, the lack of communication to the guests who were there waiting could have (and should have) been much much better.

Once on the boat, the crew proved knowledgable and kind. A fun cruise that is perfectly suited for visitors staying on the west end of the island. There are similarly priced options closer to Honolulu and Waikiki without the hour-plus drive through really bad traffic.

Nice day on the water

This was our 2nd time doing the Dolphins and You Tour (we did it in 2017). Last time was amazing as we had a very calm day and saw lots of dolphins. This time it was quite rough and we did not get an opportunity to swim in the ocean with them.
We did enjoy our time anchored in the bay, where we snorkeled, kayaked and swam. Lunch was delicious and the crew was terrific.
Even despite not seeing dolphins, it was a lovely day.

From the moment we were picked up near the hotel and dropped off at it, this was a class 1 experience. Everyone made sure we had a great experience. We were a party of 7 ranging from 81years old to 12. We all rode the banana boats, thrilling! One of us fell off (not the 81 y/o) and was retrieved. The float ride was thrilling our 12 y/o said. The water is clear, the fish ample and snorkels provided along with advice for best viewing. The musicians were outstanding, the fellow passengers getting in the groove and dancing. Whole experience a lifetime memory.

Truly the best day ever! So much fun on this boat…fun and friendly crew, amazing musicians, tons of activities…couldn’t have asked for anything more! I participated in a group boat tour 10 years ago. It was such a great memory that I initially hoped to join a group boat again this time, but it was sold out a week before the tour. Since I really wanted to go, I reserved a private boat. Of course, it was more expensive, but it was worth it.

• Since it was a speedboat, we could get to the location faster than the group boat, and we were able to play for about an extra hour after the group boat had left.
• They prioritized letting us use the stand-up paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and other equipment, so we could play as much as we wanted. That feeling of being prioritized was incredible.
• A professional Japanese guide accompanied us, sharing information about the tour, Hawaii, and the pandemic. They played with us beforehand like a member of the family.
• They took care of arrangements for the restroom after landing and monitored our rental car.

Of course, the beauty of the sandbar was amazing, but I’m really glad I chose the private boat.

10年前に団体ボートで参加しました。良い思い出だったので、今回も団体ボートを最初は希望したのですが、ツアー開催の1週間前でSOLDOUT。どうしても行きたかったので貸切ボートを予約しました。もちろん費用は高かったですが、それ以上の価値はありました。
•高速ボートなので、団体ボートよりも早く現地に行けて、帰りも団体ボートが帰ったあとも遊べたので1時間くらいは追加で遊べた気がする。
•SAP、シュノーケル、遊具等優先して使わせてくれるので遊び放題。その優遇感はハンパない。
•日本人のプロのアテンドが付くので、このツアーのことはもちろん、ハワイのこと、パンデミックのこと教えてくれる。家族の一員みたいに事前に一緒に遊んでくれる。
•着岸後のトイレの手配とか、レンタカーの見守りとか、やってくれる。
もちろん、サンドバーの美しさは素晴らしかったですが、貸切ボートにして本当に良かったです。

I participated with my mother/daughter! In the morning, the weather was bad, and there was thunder and rain in the distance, but by early afternoon it cleared up, and I was so happy to see dolphins and whales up close. It was quite rocky, so those prone to seasickness should be careful! Snorkeling was fun, but the waterslide was absolutely amazing and gave a fantastic sense of freedom! The friendly staff and the Japanese guide made it easy to enjoy the experience until the end. I want to participate again with my friends! Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. Mahalo!!

The fact that I booked to just experience the sand bar is my small disclaimer, But the boat ride out to the sandbar including the friendly staff breakfast snacks and juice along with the live band / music and all the SUP, Kayaking Snorkeling and Lounging we could do is what made this an experience of a lifetime for me and my son! They provided all the above for a great rate plus you can add on other activities like the bumper boat ride etc. I highly recommend Veltra tours! You won't be disappointed!! Mahalo
