This activity was great for beginners. The instructor was amazing and made sure everyone had a good time.
The only drawback that day was water was very murky and made it difficult to see as many see fish and other sea creatures.
I would highly recommend this activity and instrutor.

This was probably the best tour we went on during our trip. The snorkeling was arguably better than Hanauma Bay. There were less fish, but the corals were in way better shape and the water was a lot calmer. I probably spent most of my time just snorkeling. The kayaks and paddle boards were alright. There isn’t much to do on them so I didn’t really spend much of my time on those. I saw mostly a parent and their kids riding the kayaks. There is a platform in the middle that you can hang out in. The food was good, but I suggest bringing extra snacks as I got a little hungry after hanging out at the sandbar. For drinks they only served beer and hard seltzers, but they gave you the option to bring your own if you’re into that. We were there during high tide so there wasn’t much to stand on, but you can still get your feet on the sand in some parts. We opted for the banana boat and bumper tube and this probably was my favorite part. Banana boat was okay, but the bumper tube ride was insane. I got the opportunity to ride solo on one of the runs and I asked them to give me the crazy ride, and man did they deliver. BIG shoutout to the guy towing the tube. The staff was awesome and super accommodating. They let everyone have fun while keeping it safe. Definitely the best experience out of all the other ones we did in Oahu (cruise, Kualoa ranch, hanauma bay, shark swimming). Would recommend and is a 100% must do in my opinion.

I was moved by the incredibly beautiful sea. There was transportation to the main points in Waikiki, and there was a Japanese guide on the boat who provided plenty of explanations, so I felt secure and enjoyed myself. I was able to try SUP, which I had always wanted to do, and I saw many fish while snorkeling (although I didn't get to see any sea turtles…). For snacks, there were donuts, and the soft drinks available were water, orange juice, and hot water. There is a changing room on the boat, so it's better to bring a change of clothes. You will end up freezing on the air-conditioned bus ride back.
It seems that you need to go with a different tour company to visit the so-called sandbar (a beach surrounded by the sea). The area we played in was shallow enough to stand, but it was a bit deeper in some spots.

とにかく綺麗な海で感動しました。ワイキキの主要ポイントへの送迎があり、船には日本人のガイドさんも乗っていたので説明も十分にしていただき安心して楽しめました。ずっとやってみたかったSUPもできたし、シュノーケリングではたくさんの魚が見れました。(ウミガメには会えませんでした…)軽食にはドーナツ、ソフトドリンクは水、オレンジジュース、お湯がありました。船の中に更衣室があるので着替えを持っていったほうがいいです。凍えながら冷房の効いたバスで帰ることになります。
いわゆるサンドバー(海に囲まれた砂浜)は別のツアー会社じゃないといけないみたいです。我々が遊んだ海は足がつくけどちょっと深めのところでした。

Great way to start your morning off with a fun excursion!!

This is probably one of the best excursions we’ve done in Hawaii as it includes snorkeling, paddle boarding and canoes all in one price. At an additional charge we added tubing and banana boat for children and they loved it. We did the morning excursion and that includes donuts and punch which is a sugar overload, I would suggest bringing breakfast/snacks. We all had a great time

Just before getting on the banana boat, the children were scared of falling into the sea, but the staff noticed this and drove at just the right speed (fast enough, but without sudden turns or creating waves). By the end of the banana boat ride, the children were all smiles and very happy.

During snorkeling, another staff member casually chatted with the children, who were nervous about their first snorkeling experience, using a friendly Kansai dialect (they were a local). This helped ease their tension.

Thanks to this, we were able to create wonderful memories for the whole family.

バナナボートに乗る直前で、こどもたちが海に落ちることを怖がってしまったのですが、それを察知したスタッフさんが、ちょうど良い加減の運転（スピードはそこそこあるものの、急に曲がったり波を立てるような運転はしない）をしてくれて、バナナボートが終わるころにはこどもたちは笑顔で大喜びでした。

Took our family out for a morning excursion, was a little disappointed that we didn’t go much further into the ocean or to a smoother cove. But we did see turtles & other fish around the coral! We can’t wait to get our disposable camera developed to capture our adventures! The Ke Kai provided all the equipment and safety briefings for snorkeling, all equipment was cleaned & sanitized before & after use.

Unfortunately, even through Dramamine & ginger ale 3 out of 4 of our family members got sick on the return ride to shore. The staff was sooo sweet and checked on us frequently! They took great care of us and recommended techniques to curb our seasickness that we didn’t expect to hit us so hard. I guess for us, it’s a good thing the boat ride was shorter off the coast than what we expected, lol

Overall excellent experience that got us off the beach and in the water! Would highly recommend this catamaran and crew!

My family and I took the morning tour. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they made it the best experience. They had donuts, water and coffee as we arrived. The singers did amazing and even sang happy birthday to us! Overall, definitely would do it again. Loved all the activities provided as well.

Excursion to the Kaneohe Sandbar was so much fun. We booked the early session. Plenty of parking with the AM session. Check-in was easy. Staff were well organized and knowledgeable. My family of 2 adults and 4 children ages 11-14 had a blast. We had plenty of time to play on the kayaks, SUP and snorkel. We brought snacks and beverages onboard. Plenty of space to store our beach bag and small cooler.

The weather is everything. If you've decided to participate in this activity, you should reflect on your daily actions, pray for clear skies, and wait for that day with a pure heart. We fell short in our efforts and ended up with a cloudy day. If you wish to have a pickup, just let them know your hotel, and they will usually come to pick you up nearby. We were staying at the Royal Hawaiian, so we arranged to meet in front of Ross across the street. We took a bus to the pier and then boarded the ship! Onboard, we filled out a liability waiver and set off for about a 20-minute sail. My mother-in-law, who is prone to seasickness, seemed to be in good spirits, which added to the sense of stability. Donuts and drinks are first come, first served. By the time we returned, the donuts were sold out. I have no complaints about the sandbar itself. You can relax on the boat or enjoy kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. On the day we participated, it was quite windy, and we could hardly see any fish or turtles.

It was really great!
I definitely recommend it!

☆ Positive Points
★ We were blessed with good weather, and it was incredibly beautiful.
★ Even as a first-time snorkeler, I had a lot of fun because it was a shallow area where I could stand comfortably.
★ It was also my first time kayaking, but the staff helped me get on properly, and when I drifted a bit, the captain's boat shouted, "Come back! Keep paddling!" which made me feel reassured.
★ I was worried about seasickness, but I didn't feel it at all.
★ The lunch was very delicious.
★ All the staff were foreigners, but two of them spoke Japanese very well, even able to make jokes, and they were great at explaining and answering questions. Everyone was smiling and it was a really nice team.
★ The music played on the boat was very Hawaiian and really good.
★ When we got out of the water, the captain (a foreign woman) made us warm tea, which was delicious! I appreciated the thoughtfulness!

☆ Negative Points
★ I was expecting to walk on the white sand, but since I joined the afternoon course, it was high tide. I heard from the staff on the boat that you need to join the morning course to walk on the water during low tide. I was disappointed because I had high expectations. I should have checked properly.
★ There were no showers on the boat, just a changing room, but that was still helpful. However, there were only two hooks for hanging things like plastic bags inside the changing room, so it would have been nice to have a basket or something to put our clothes in.

☆ Other
★ As advice, I felt this tour was more suited for adults. There were families with toddlers, and they might have enjoyed it to some extent, but for families with young children, Hanauma Bay, where fish come close to the beach, might be a better recommendation. (This is just my personal opinion.)

☆ Lastly
★ I participated with my daughter in her 20s, and we had a lot of fun! It was really different from Waikiki Beach and Hanauma Bay, and it was great!
I definitely recommend it.

★海から上がった時 暖かい紅茶を 船長さん(外人の女性) が淹れてくれて美味しかった！ 気遣いが嬉しかった！

☆残念だった点
★白砂で海上散歩できると期待してましたが、 私が参加したのは昼からのコースなので満潮。朝からのコースに参加しないと引潮で海上散歩できないと船の中でスタッフに聞きました。 期待していただけに残念。ちゃんと調べておけば良かった。
★船内にシャワーは無く更衣室だけでしたが、 それでも助かりました。 ただ更衣室の中は ビニール袋など 掛けるフックが2つだけなので、 着替え等が置けるカゴなどが置いてあったら有難かったです。

☆その他
★アドバイスとしては、大人向きのツアー かなと 感じました。幼児を連れている人もいて それなりに楽しめたかもしれないけど…幼児連れのご家族なら 砂浜に魚がすぐ寄ってくるハナウマビーチの方が おすすめかもしれません。(あくまで個人的な見解です。)

☆最後に
★20代の娘と2人で参加しましたが とても 楽しめました！ ワイキキビーチ や ハナウマビーチ とはまた違って、すごく良かったです！
是非オススメです。
このツアーに参加してホント良かったです。スタッフの皆様 本当にありがとうございました。

We encountered various fish and a large sea turtle. My mother, who is in her 90s, also challenged herself to snorkel. The guide pulled her along with a float, so she could comfortably enjoy the underwater view, and she was very happy. Perhaps because it wasn't an early morning plan, the water was a bit murky, but it was great to enjoy ourselves without any worries on a comfortable lounge boat, just our family.

９０代の母もシュノーケルにチャレンジ、ガイドさんが浮き輪を引っ張ってくださったので、安心して海の中を眺めることができ、母も喜んでいました。

It was a long-awaited trip to Hawaii with my daughter. She wanted to go to Hanauma Bay, which we visited many times when she was a child, so I tried to access the Hanauma Bay entrance site at 7 AM two days ago to make a reservation. However, as I was entering the information, the availability quickly disappeared, so I signed up with Veltra.

The price felt a bit high, but once we participated, we were impressed by the guide's thorough information and they took us to the outer reef, which we would have been worried about going to on our own. We encountered three sea turtles and had a wonderful time.

On the way back, we also received recommendations for nearby restaurants and local information, which made us very satisfied. During snorkeling, the guide was present both in front and behind our group, allowing us to enjoy it with peace of mind. I was also really pleased to receive the photos the guide took from Facebook.

If you're hesitating to sign up, I absolutely recommend it!

娘と久々のハワイの旅でした。
子供の頃に何度も行ってたハナウマ湾に行きたいと娘が言うので、2日前の朝７時からのハナウマ湾入場のサイトにアクセスして取ろうと思ったのですが、入力してるうちにみるみる空きが無くなってしまい、ベルトラさんに申し込みました。
料金は少し高い気がしたのですが、参加してみたらガイドさんの丁寧なインフォメーションと、自分達では行くのが心配になるリーフの外まで案内して頂き、ウミガメ3匹と遭遇
素晴らしい時間を過ごしました
帰りがけにも、ホテルに近いオススメのレストランや現地の情報も頂き、とても満足しました。
シュノーケリングの最中もグループの前後に、ガイドさんがいて下さるので、安心して楽しめました。ガイドさんが撮って下さった写真もFacebookから頂けて本当に満足しております。

First, we received a very clear and enjoyable explanation from the Japanese staff, and then we boarded the ship! The interior of the ship was very clean, and the donuts for a light snack were delicious. The banana boat ride was thrilling and a lot of fun. Personally, I wanted to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and it was a great experience to do it in such beautiful waters. I attended this tour with my mom, who is over 50 years old and does not know swimming at all. My mom was quite excited and worried about this tour, and was about to quit at the very first start, while Dan told us not to nervous, taught us how to breath with our mouth and even a little swim skills. After that, my mom and I succeeded to finish this tour and we saw a lot of different fish with Dan’s guide. That was fun. We really appreciate Dan for giving us such a perfect snorkeling experience, will try again when we visit Oahu again in the future, hope we could do better next time :D)))
