There were many young people, but I participated with my parents. (The only older participants were my parents.)
We were able to see dolphins, but they were swimming so fast and moving around that it felt like we only caught a glimpse of them. My parents couldn't keep up...

However, we were able to go snorkeling, and there was a lot to do, so it was good overall.
The staff were very energetic, and we had a great time. I think it would be worth participating at least once.

At first, I was worried about the tour content being too much, but I participated anyway. The beautiful ocean views of West Oahu were great, but seeing wild dolphins in the water and then witnessing the swimming sea turtles was truly moving. It wasn't just a simple watching tour; it was really wonderful. I thought it was a fantastic tour with a lot of substance. (However, it seems that since they are wild animals, there may be times when you can't see them.) The staff were fun and attentive, and I'm really glad I participated. I want to go again.

I imagined that I would be able to swim close enough to touch the dolphins, but since they are truly wild dolphins, that wasn't the case. However, the joy I felt when I saw the dolphins in sight was immense.

The staff members were very cheerful, and I had a wonderful time. I'm glad I participated.

The rating of Good is likely because there was a baby dolphin in the pod, which meant they didn't come very close. (There's nothing that can be done about that.)

Overall, it was Great!!

I had diving experience, so I was accustomed to snorkeling and enjoyed it. However, my companion was new to snorkeling and being in deep water, which caused a bit of panic, and they couldn't see the dolphins underwater as a result. That said, I was satisfied with the tour because we got to see the dolphins up close from the back of the boat when they swam alongside us.

This was without a doubt the highlight of our holiday, loved it. The girls that took us out were great, they took us to our first location where we got the chance to swim with about 5-6 dolphins, then we moved on to the sea turtles, just great. On our return trip the girls took us back to our first location where there was now a pod of about 70 dolphins that we got to swim with. Just amazing. Thanks girls.

I participated hoping to see wild dolphins, and on the day, I was able to encounter several dolphins, which was truly a wonderful experience! It's rare to see so many. I heard that on some days, they move around to different locations in search of dolphins. It was my first time snorkeling. The guide wasn't very thorough, so I was relieved that my friend who accompanied me taught me how to put on the gear and what to be careful of when jumping in.

I participated with a senior colleague from work. The staff were very friendly, and there was music playing on the boat, creating a fun atmosphere. I was expecting a BBQ on board, but it was just simple hamburgers, which was a bit disappointing. However, they were very delicious! Everyone had the chance to see dolphins and sea turtles, as we were able to enter the water twice at the designated points. The hula dancing was physically demanding, but I enjoyed the whole day. I think it would be a lot of fun to participate with a large group of friends.

Both Japanese and local staff assisted with the tour, but the Japanese staff had a bad attitude. Overall, the explanations were insufficient. They didn't properly show us how to wear the snorkeling masks or life jackets. When we reached the dolphin point, we were pushed from the boat into the sea, and some participants hesitated because they weren't mentally prepared. The Japanese staff spoke quite harshly to those individuals, saying, "These are wild dolphins, if you can't get in the sea quickly, stay on the boat!" If there had been prior explanations, those participants could have managed better, and it was very unpleasant to witness.

Later, at the snorkeling point, we ended up with the "Dolphin Junior High" boat from the same company, and since we entered the sea at the same time, participants were swimming quite close to each other. When it was time to get back on the boat, my husband accidentally went to the "Dolphin Junior High" boat. At that moment, the Japanese staff from "Dolphin Junior High" shouted to the university staff, "This is university!" Afterward, they looked shocked, but referring to a customer as "this" is unbelievable.

While we did achieve our goal of seeing dolphins, the bad attitude of the Japanese staff ruined the experience. Although we saw wild dolphins in the sea, if there are other tours with similar content, I would prefer to choose those. I will not be repeating this experience.

また、その後のシュノーケリングポイントで、同じ会社のスタッフが乗っている『イルカ中学』のボートと一緒になり、同時に海に入った為参加者がかなり近くで泳いでおり、ボートにあがる様指示された時、主人が誤って『イルカ中学』の方のボートに行ってしまいました。その際、あろうことか、『イルカ中学』の日本人スタッフが『大学』のスタッフに向かって『これ、大学！』と叫んだそうです。その後『あ、やばい！』という顔をしていたそうですが、お客を『これ』呼ばわりです。信じられません。
イルカを見るという目的は果たせましたが、とにかく日本人スタッフの感じが悪くて嫌な思いをさせられ、台無しです。
確かに海に入って野生のイルカは見られましたが、同様の内容のツアーが他にあればそちらにすればよかったです。 リピートはしません。

I participated in a dolphin watching tour in Hawaii during my honeymoon. There were several options, but I'm really glad I chose this one! One of the deciding factors was being able to eat masalada. We saw plenty of dolphins, spotted a whale in the distance, and even saw a sea turtle. The weather was great, and I was very satisfied. The instructor was energetic and made it fun. I want to take my parents next time. It was early in the morning, but it was actually better since we could use the afternoon for other activities.

I participated on April 17, 2013. The weather was great, and I was able to swim with over 100 dolphins! I also saw about two sea turtles, and to my surprise, I was able to see a whale from the boat, which I thought was out of season. I felt like I had been saving my luck for this moment since I hadn't been very lucky lately.

One group probably had around 20 to 30 dolphins, and I went into the water three times, encountering them twice. I swam with four or five groups, so there might have been around 150 dolphins in total. It was just so lucky.

Our guide, Minako, was very clear in her explanations and had a bright personality, which was wonderful. I forgot the name, but Captain Papa? also took us accurately to the points, and during the whale watching, he kindly waited on the spot from when we dove until we surfaced.

My mother, who was with me, decided to stay on the boat at one point, saying, "I don't want to go in the water anymore today," but Minako frequently encouraged her not to push herself, so she was able to rest without hesitation. Since it was a tour with many entries, quite a few people chose to rest on the boat during the second session (snorkeling at the tropical fish and sea turtle points).

Even though the weather was nice, we had been snorkeling for quite a while, so it got quite cold, and the warm tea we received on the boat was much appreciated. The snacks were also quite delicious. I devoured a cinnamon pastry and cheese. I was a bit concerned about the calories in the cereal bar, so I took it home.

I really had a great time. I definitely want to take my husband, who stayed home this time, with me next time.

ガイドのミナコさんの説明はわかりやすく、明るい人柄でとても良かったです。お名前を忘れてしまったのですが、キャプテンパパ？もポイントまで的確に連れて行って下さり、ホエールの時も潜ってから浮き上がるまでその場で待機してくださるなど、親切でした。

同行の母が途中、「ちょっと今日はもう水に入りたくない」と船上に残っていたのですが、無理しないで～とミナコさんが頻繁におっしゃってくださっていたので、遠慮せず休むことができました。エントリー回数の多いツアーだったので、2時限目（熱帯魚やウミガメのポイントでのシュノーケル）はさすがに船上でお休みされる方が多かったです。

良いお天気と言えども、結構な時間シュノーケルしていたので冷えてしまい、船上でいただいた温かいお茶はありがたかったです。スナックも結構おいしかったです。シナモン系の菓子パンとチーズぺろりと食べてしまいました。シリアルバーはさすがにカロリーが気になって持ち帰りました。

本当に楽しかったです。
今度はお留守番してもらった夫もぜひ連れて行きたいと思いました。

This is my sixth time in Hawaii! I've wanted to join this tour for a while, and I finally participated this time.

Once we arrived at the port, we put on our wetsuits and immediately boarded the boat. The water temperature is low during this season, and the boat is fast, so being exposed to the wind the whole time was quite cold. Renting a wetsuit for $10 was definitely the right choice. By the way, everyone in the group rented one (laughs).

We set sail and searched for about two hours. Ultimately, we headed north up to just before the North Shore, but there was no sign of dolphins, and everyone was getting tired.

At that moment, we encountered a whale! It's rare to see one at this time of year. Everyone was thrilled by this unexpected encounter.

So, what about the dolphins? We received information from another boat that they were near the port! It was a case of "right under the lighthouse." We quickly headed south and managed to meet the dolphins. Depending on the day, there can be hundreds of them, but there were only a few on this day. However, I was really glad to see them clearly with my own eyes and to swim close to them.

After that, we moved to a snorkeling point and got to swim with about five sea turtles. They came close enough to touch.

The staff's energy was incredibly high throughout, so if you're not a fan of that kind of lively student-like atmosphere, it might be a bit overwhelming. When we finally spotted them, it was like "Let's go!" and everyone jumped in at once (there were also people from other companies), so it got crowded, and I ended up getting kicked by someone’s fin.

But it all became a great memory.

いっきに南下し、なんとかイルカ先生に会うことができました。
日によっては何百匹といるそうですが、この日は数頭でした。
しかしこの目でハッキリと見ることができたし、近くで泳ぐことができて本当に
良かったです。

その後はシュノーケルポイントに移動して、亀大教授と泳ぐこともできました。
５匹くらいいましたよ。触れるくらい近くまで来てくれました。

スタッフのテンションが終始バカ高いので、そういう学生ノリの賑やかなのが苦手な方は苦痛かも？
しかも結構なスパルタなので、体力に自信のない方、高齢の方には向いてないと思います。ものすごく体力を消耗します。

日によるのかな？？すぐに見つかる日もあるらしいから、そういう日は楽チンなのかも。私達はなかなか見つからず苦労しましたからね。
みつかった瞬間、それいけーーーーって感じで、みんなが一斉に飛び込み（他の会社の連中もいるから）混みあっていて、前の人のフィンで蹴られる始末です。

でも全部がいい想い出になりました。

This was awesome!!! We not only saw dolphins but we saw humpback whales at the end of their migration. They also took us to a reef where we snorkeled with a sea turtle and saw tons of tropical fish. The girls on the boat crew were awesome. Highly educated about the ocean environment and the sea creatures. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Hawaii vacation. Don't miss this activity. Especially if you can do it during the whale migration season. Also, Domingo, our shuttle driver that picked us up from the hotel was a great tour guide as well.

Just Terrific

They pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the west side. They gear you up, they advise you not to touch or chase. You get on the water and if you're lucky, like us, you spot a pair of hump back whales. Then when they locate the dolphin herd, you get to swim among them for about an hour. Then you get to spend almost as much time over a reef, where you can swim with sea turtles and other fish. It was just terrific.

Then you get a decent sandwich and a drink, because you will be hungry after a full morning. Then they drive you back to Waikiki.

Excellent photo disk available to chronicle your trip, at a good price, if you wish. 400 photos of your trip + bonus file with great pics of dolphins, whales, and the area.

Only negative was no changing facility, public restrooms only. Also no bathroom on the boat so be prepared.

Definitely worth the price for this experience.

The distance to the dolphins was far, and the snorkeling experience to see the dolphins was quite short, lasting less than 10 minutes, which was disappointing. However, there was plenty of time for snorkeling with sea turtles after moving to another location, so I wish I could have seen the dolphins a bit longer.

The staff members were very kind.

イルカとの距離が遠く、イルカ見学のシュノーケリング自体は１０分弱とかなり短かったのが残念。　その後移動してからのウミガメなどのシュノーケリングタイムはたっぷりあったので、もう少しイルカを見たかったです。

The tour went quite far south in search of dolphins, and both my parents and I were moved to see nearly 30 dolphins!! The wetsuits are available for rent, but they help prevent sunburn and provide buoyancy in the water, so whether you're confident in swimming or not, wearing one allows you to focus on the dolphins, which was thrilling and made for an amazing day~♪

I didn't have high expectations for anything other than the dolphins, but the cheeseburgers and the hospitality of the staff were excellent! The tour also includes water activities like snorkeling and kayaking after lunch, so you definitely should experience them!!

イルカ30匹近くを見る事ができて両親も私も感動!!
ウエットスーツが有料だけど、日焼け防止や水中で浮力が出るので、泳ぎに自身があってもなくても着ているとイルカに集中できて感動するし、楽しかったし最高の１日でした～♪

イルカ以外は期待してなかったけれど、チーズバーガーやスタッフの方のホスピタリティ最高！
昼食後のシュノーケリング、カヤックなどの水のアクティビティもツアーに含まれているので、是非体験するべき!!

We had a hard time finding dolphins and only spotted a group of six just in the nick of time. We finally went snorkeling, but we couldn't swim with them properly. We were disappointed as we had to head back due to time constraints, but thanks to the driver's consideration, we got a second chance. During the second attempt, we were able to swim quite close to them and had a great time.

なかなかイルカが見つからず、時間ギリギリで六頭だけの群れを発見。ようやくシュノーケルをしましたが、ちゃんと一緒に泳げず。時間が無いので帰るということになりガッカリしましたが、運転手の計らいで再度のチャレンジ。二回目はかなり近くで泳ぐことが出来て、楽しむことができました。

Such an amazing experience! The staff were really helpful and friendly and knew a lot about the animals we would be seeing. We got to snorkel with a pod of dolphins for about an hour - an hour and a half, which was fantastic and then they took us to another snorkel reef spot where we saw about 5 sea turtles ! Would definitely recommend it !

I was worried about whether I could wake up properly since we had an early morning meeting, but I did my best to meet Dolphin Sensei. It takes about an hour by car, but the staff member, Julie, was so entertaining that we arrived in no time.

Since it's cold this season, we rented wet suits (for a fee) and set off! Along the way, we encountered sea turtles and whales. Several times!!

However, I was feeling down because we couldn't meet Dolphin Sensei. But the staff worked hard to find them, and in the end, we were able to swim with the dolphins. I'm grateful to the staff for their perseverance.

The mother and baby dolphins were so cute!

朝早い時間の集合だったので、ちゃんと起きられるか不安でいたが、
イルカ先生に会うためにがんばりました。
車で１時間くらいのところなのですが、車中ではスタッフのジュリさんのトークがおもしろくて
あっという間に着きます。

この時期は寒いのでウエットスーツを借りて（有料）出港！
途中ウミガメ、クジラに遭遇しました。何回も！！

しかし、肝心のイルカ先生には会えなくて、ブルーになっていました。
が、スタッフの方が一生懸命さがしてくださり、最後イルカと一緒におよぐことができました。
根気強くさがしてくれたスタッフに感謝です。

This is my second time at Dolphin University 🎶
I was able to see many dolphins up close again, which was really great! The staff are all very fun people and they kindly teach you a lot of things! If you want to do something other than shopping in Hawaii, I definitely recommend it!＼(^o^)／

On the way to see the dolphins, we were lucky enough to spot a whale. It's not often you get to see one so close. After that, we jumped into the sea where the dolphins were. We were able to see dolphins swimming in a group, but unfortunately, they were too deep, so it didn't feel like we were swimming with them. At the snorkeling spot, we were able to see a turtle. It swam quickly and dove down, so only a few people near the cameraman got to see it. When we returned to the boat, they handed out hamburgers and drinks, but since I couldn't eat due to seasickness, they packed it up for me to take home. Although it was disappointing about the dolphins, it was great to see the whale and turtle up close.

こんなに近くで見れるのはあんまりないということでラッキーでした。
その後イルカのいる海に飛び込みました。

シュノーケルのスポットでは、カメを見ることができました。

船に戻るとハンバーガーやドリンクスナックを配っていただきましたが、船酔いで食べれなかったら袋に入れてお持ち帰りにしてくれました。

I absolutely wanted to swim with dolphins, so I signed up for a tour. The boat ride wasn't too difficult, and I enjoyed the crew's performance on board. However, due to the rain the day before, the water clarity was poor, and it wasn't the bright blue sea I had hoped for with the dolphins! While searching for dolphins, I repeatedly prepared to jump in, but I was only able to see dolphins twice and couldn't swim with them. Unfortunately, I didn't see many fish at the snorkeling spot either. However, the water was not cold, and I could float comfortably. The special double burger on the boat was a lucky find! The excitement of seeing the dolphins was definitely there. I hope to swim with them next time. The hula was okay and somewhat interesting.

P.S. The boat does sway with the waves, so don't underestimate seasickness. I was fine since I'm used to it, but several people did get seasick. If you're participating, make sure to take motion sickness medication before boarding (^^).

次回は一緒に泳げればと思います。
フラはまあまあ、おもしろかったです。

船は波を受け揺れるものです。船酔いを甘く見ないほうがいいです。私はなれているので大丈夫でしたが、船酔いした方が何人もいらっしゃいました。参加する方は酔い止めを服用してから乗船しましょう（＾＾）

Swimming with wild dolphins and sea turtles felt like a dream☆ I also got to see whales, and it was truly fun. The malasadas and homemade cheeseburgers were amazing as well.

The waves are high in winter, and even with taking motion sickness medication, I got seasick. I ended up feeling unwell before I could meet the dolphins, and in the end, I couldn't do anything. It was also very cold on the boat. Since we were on the boat for about three hours, it might be tough for those who are prone to seasickness. I did see a few dolphins, but it seemed quite difficult to swim with them on the day I participated. The staff members were all very nice and seemed to be having fun. Summer is said to have relatively calm waves, so I recommend participating in the summer.

We participated as a couple with our 5-year-old. Since we had a young child with us, when the staff instructed another staff member to swim with us, they clearly looked displeased. Seeing that made our spirits drop significantly, and our child became scared of the ocean, so we couldn't go in for a while.

At one point, when our child got tired and fell asleep, there was a photo session, and even though they said they would take pictures later, they completely forgot about it until the end. After the tour, while others were chatting about the photos they had taken and whether to buy them or not, we felt forgotten, which left us with a bad feeling.
