I participated in an early morning tour. On the bus ride there, the instructions were explained very clearly and cheerfully, and they taught us pressure points for motion sickness, which made the journey enjoyable. イルカは追っかけてはいけないとのことでしたが、イルカの方から近づいてきてくれてこちらがよけるほどでした(笑)イルカの姿が見えなくても耳を海面に入れると近い時には鳴き声が聞こえていることがわかり不思議な感じでした。
ウミガメは遠かったですがちゃんとみれて感動しました。
ハンバーガーは酔っていたのでその時は食べられませんでしたが、帰宅してから食べたらおいしかったです。
お金をほとんど持って行かなかったので、写真のデータを申し込むことが出来ず残念でした。
トータルで満足できる内容で機会があれば船酔いに耐えながらまた参加したいです。

Due to heavy snow in Narita, my trip to Hawaii was cut short by one day. It was a pretty intense two days, but I think I was able to enjoy my time in Hawaii. I had actually booked a sunset cruise for the first day, but unfortunately, due to the flight cancellation and delays, I couldn't change it, and it was treated as a cancellation without any refund, which was really disappointing. It felt like my excitement was taken away.

And finally, I enrolled in Dolphin University! I heard there might be times when we can't meet the dolphins, which made me a bit anxious.

Now, we're on the boat! Departure! Shortly after we set sail, we spotted a whale spouting water, and then we got a message from the dolphin watching crew: "There they are! So many dolphins!" I think there were over 30 of them! They kept diving into the sea, and I was able to swim with them! It was so exciting! There were also mother and baby dolphins! We swam for quite a long time!

Next, we quickly found dolphins again, so we went snorkeling! The sea was beautiful! Wow! The turtle swam among us without being scared and popped up for air to say hello. I heard that touching it would incur a $70 fine!

What could have been a disastrous trip to Hawaii turned into an exhilarating experience, and I'm so grateful for that! You absolutely have to go! I highly recommend it!

On the morning of the day I had a reservation, I received a message from the staff at VELTRA saying, "The waves are too high today, and the tour cannot proceed..." I was a bit anxious the next day, but since I didn’t receive a call, I thought everything was fine and headed to the pickup location. However, it turned out to be the day of an annual parade, and the roads were heavily congested. After waiting for the bus for an hour... (I wondered if this could have been anticipated since it happens every year, but all the other tours and buses heading to the airport were also delayed, so I thought it might just be something you have to accept in Hawaii with a big heart, haha). It seemed that the street where we were supposed to be picked up was particularly congested, so the bus stopped on a larger road, and two staff members (one of whom was Japanese) ran to greet us. A large, beautiful bus came to pick us up. Once on the bus, they began with an apology for the delay, introduced the staff, and explained the schedule and important notes in English followed by Japanese. There was also information about purchasing a USB for photos and videos taken on the trip, as well as renting wetsuits. Those who purchased the photo/video package on the way to the destination received a wristband as a gift (one for each participant) and a $5 discount. It seems that if you stay close to the photographer, you might get more photos taken. Upon arriving at the harbor, we used the restroom and borrowed fins and goggles. (We also tried on the wetsuits we rented on the bus here.) Once we found the right size, we boarded the boat. After boarding, we set off to look for dolphins, and during that time, there was another explanation, and we sang a Hawaiian song to show respect for the ocean and its creatures while offering flowers. The cheerful Hawaiian staff jumped into the sea as soon as we reached the dolphin spot and swam to the location of the dolphins. Unfortunately, we didn’t encounter any turtles or whales, but we did meet dolphins, which was an emotional experience that allowed us to feel connected to nature. After that, we moved to another location where we had free time to enjoy snorkeling and kayaking. If you have children, I think the 11 AM departure plan would be better to avoid putting too much strain on them. 予約をしていた日の朝、ＶＥＬＴＲＡさんのスタッフの方から「本日は波が高く催行不可能となりました…」と連絡があり、返金・振り替えなどの説明があり、翌日へ振り替えてもらいました。もちろんきちんとした対応で、何の心配もありませんでした。次の日も心配でしたが、電話が来なかったので大丈夫なんだなと思いピックアップ場所へ。しかしその日は年に一度のパレードの日だったらしく道路は大渋滞。バスを待つこと1時間…。（毎年の事なので事前に予測できないのかな？とは思いましたが、他のツアーも、空港へ向かう予約のバスもどれもこれも全てが遅れていたのでハワイでは仕方がないのかな？と思う大きな心が必要です（笑））我が家のピックアップ場所の通りが特に渋滞していたようなので大きい道路にバスを停めスタッフの方が2人（1人は日本人）で走って迎えに来てくれました。大きい素敵なバスがお迎えに来てくれていました。バスに乗るとまず、遅れたお詫びから始まりスタッフの紹介、今日のスケジュールや注意事項などを英語に続き日本語で説明してくれます。バスの中で写真や動画を収めたＵＳＢの購入、ウエットスーツのレンタルなどについても説明があります。行きのバスで写真・動画のセットを購入した人はリストバンドのプレゼント（参加人数分）、5㌦の割引がありました。カメラマンの方の近くにいると多めに撮ってもらえるような気がします。ハーバーに着くと、トイレを済ませフィン・ゴーグルを借ります。（バスの中でレンタルしたウエットスーツもここで試着してみます）サイズを合わせて、ＯＫであれば船に乗り込みます。乗船後、イルカを探しに行きますがその間、再度説明があり、海や生き物に敬意を表すためのハワイの歌を歌って花を捧げます。陽気なハワイアンのスタッフ、イルカのポイントに着いたらすぐに海へ飛び込みイルカの場所まで泳いでいきます。残念ながらかめ、くじらには会えませんでしたが、イルカに出会え自然を感じられ感動でした。そのあとは別の場所へ移動し、シュノーケリングやカヤックなどで遊ぶ自由時間があります。ハーバーまで帰港する際にタロイモのチーズバーガー、パイナップル1口サイズを1つ小袋のチップスを一人一袋食べながら帰っていきます。スタッフがフラダンスも踊ってくれ、参加者皆で踊ったりもします。終始楽しい時間で家族みんな大満足です。我が家はUSBを購入したので、その日の夕方ワイキキのDFS近くにあるオフィスへ取りに行きオフィスにいた日本人の男性もとても気さくで感じのいいかたでした。エコバックはこのオフィスでもらえます。次回ハワイへ行った際には是非また参加したいです。お子さんがいらっしゃる場合は、11時出航プランにした方が子供の負担にならないと思います。普段酔わなくても酔い止めは予防として飲むべきだと思います。

I participated with my father (in his 60s). Since both of us grew up by the sea, we had no worries about swimming, but we were a bit nervous since it was our first time. The woman in charge was absolutely wonderful, and during the bus ride, we had a homeroom session where the participants (we were referred to as such) were laughing the whole time and felt relaxed. On the day of participation, we were told that due to high waves, it might be hard to spot dolphins right away, but as soon as we boarded the boat, we were able to see dolphins and sea turtles! After that, we dove into the sea and were moved to see dolphins swimming right below us... (they were quite far away, though, haha). We couldn't see them up close, but we were able to confirm a significant number of dolphins.

There were participants who suffered from seasickness throughout the trip, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are prone to seasickness or can't swim (once you dive into the sea, the boat leaves, so if you want to return, you can't. We swam as a group for about 20 minutes, which could be quite tough for those who aren't confident). However, for those who have no issues with seasickness or swimming, I wholeheartedly recommend it! You can experience a feeling of being one with nature!

船酔いで終始苦しんでおられる参加者の方もいましたので、船酔いする方や泳げない方(海に一度潜ると船は離れますので戻りたくてももどれません。20分くらい団体で泳ぐので得意じゃない方はかなら辛そうでした)にはおすすめしませんが、船酔いにも泳ぎにも問題ない方には全力でおすすめです！自然と一体化した気分が味わえますよう！

After swimming with dolphins in the Ogasawara Islands, I became captivated by them and applied for the experience. First, I tend to get seasick, so I intended to take motion sickness medication but forgot, and we set sail as is. As expected, I got seasick. I didn't reach the point of vomiting, but on the way back, I felt nauseous and couldn't eat. So, I recommend that anyone who is prone to seasickness definitely take motion sickness medication.

Now, onto the main event with the dolphins. It seems I was lucky that day, as we quickly encountered a pod of about a dozen dolphins. As soon as we jumped into the water, we were able to swim with the dolphins right away. They swam around us repeatedly, so we got to swim with them many times. They were really cute.

After that, we went snorkeling. Here too, as soon as we got into the water, we encountered two sea turtles. It was really exciting to see a large sea turtle swimming so comfortably.

After that, in January, the sun went down, and it got really cold. I recommend bringing warm clothing. The local staff were entertaining and made sure everyone had a good time, so overall, I was very satisfied.

小笠原でドルフィンスイムをしてからイルカに虜になり、応募しました。
まず私は酔いやすかったので、酔い止めを飲もうとしてたのですが忘れてしまい、そのまま出航。案の定酔ってしまいました。吐くまでは行きませんが、帰りの船は気持ち悪くご飯食べるところではありませんでした。なので酔いやすい方は必ず酔い止めを飲んだ方がいいとおもいます。

当日は運が良かったみたいで、すぐに十数頭いる群れに出会えました。
海にとびんこんでからすぐにイルカと泳げました。ずっと私たちの周りをくるくると泳いでくれてたみたいなので、何度も何度もイルカと泳げました。キッキいってほんとに可愛かったです。
そのあと、シュノーケル。
ここでも海に降りてすぐ、2匹のウミガメに出会えました。大きなウミガメが気持ちよさそうに泳いでてほんと嬉しかったです。
そのあとは1月で太陽が隠れてしまいすごく寒かったです。防寒のものを持参することをお勧めします。
現地スタッフのかたは面白くて皆さんを楽しませてくれ、全体的に満足です。

On the boat heading to where the dolphins were, I was thrilled to also see whales! I was so happy to get off the boat twice and see a large group of dolphins up close. I also got to see sea turtles and fish, which was fun. Although I found the SUP, slide, and canoeing a bit lacking since we could only do them for a short time, I had a great time overall. If I get the chance to come back to Waikiki, I will enroll in Dolphin University again! For those who are prone to seasickness, I recommend taking motion sickness medication.

I couldn't see any dolphins, but I had a great time swimming in the beautiful sea and playing on the board! I had heard it was the wrong season to see whales, but I was happy to see two of them.

I experienced severe seasickness, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication before going! Also, everyone was renting wetsuits, so I think it's a good idea to rent one as well.

I'm glad I made some wonderful memories!

It was an amazing start, as we could clearly see the spout and the body along with the tail, raising our expectations of encountering dolphins and turtles. After that, under the captain's guidance, we encountered many dolphins and turtles just as we hoped. The baby turtles were incredibly cute. We were able to welcome 2018 with a wonderful beginning. The staff were also very kind, and I am grateful. Thank you.

I can't swim, so I was scared when I jumped from the boat. But even at my age, I found the courage to try, and surprisingly, I was able to do it. It became a journey of discovery where I could challenge myself. Thank you.

This was just a terrific day from start to finish. We were picked up on time, and everything was exactly as advertised. We saw turtles, swam with the dolphins, and saw approximately 8 whales too! It was the first time snorkeling for both my husband and myself and the staff was terrific. Emmanuel picked us up and took care of us for the whole day. Our captain was terrific, making sure that we saw all those whales and had plenty of time for snorkeling with the dolphins and then over a wonderful coral reef. Photographer Justin was also terrific - making sure to get great pictures of everyone who wanted them. HIghly recommend this tour and company! Friendly AND professional!

Departure before sunrise to West Oahu. The scenery was different from Waikiki and had its own charm! I was able to see the dolphins swimming directly below me on the second try! Unfortunately, I used a 2mm wetsuit for warmth, but it was still cold.

Wow, wow, wow. This was the experience of a lifetime for me and my family. We really hit the jackpot. Within minutes of leaving the harbor we came across some Humpback whales frolicking with some dolphins - this was breathtaking. We then swam with sea turtles and had an amazing experience with a pod of approximately 50 dolphins. I honestly believe we had luck on our side because we couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour even more enjoyable. I can honestly say this was the highlight of our holiday and would recommend this company to everyone.

Two years ago, I participated in a program at a junior high school and swam with dolphins. I wanted to experience that happiness again, so I joined this time. Unfortunately, I couldn't meet any dolphins, but I was moved to see whales and turtles. I even got to see the spouts of several whales from a distance! And as expected from a university, Mr. Takao's passionate lecture and the meaningful movements in the dance were rich in content, conveying a love for Hawaii that captivated me. Thank you very much. The guide who showed us around was enjoyable and great. We were able to see a sea turtle, even if just a little, and snorkeling was fun. Even though I'm not a strong swimmer, I felt safe participating. We went as a family, but my kindergarten-aged grandchild was shivering and crying because of the low temperature. I think it's important to choose the right season for small children.

This was my first time in Hawaii for our honeymoon! We decided to join this tour because we wanted to see dolphins in the beautiful ocean. The day before, there was heavy rain, so I was worried about the weather, but it turned out to be clear skies. We took an early morning bus to the port, and when we boarded the boat, the staff warmly welcomed us. The staff maintained a cheerful atmosphere and treated us with care from start to finish. We traveled by boat for about 45 minutes, and during that time, we were able to see a whale spouting! (By the way, on the way back, we also saw its tail.)

As for the dolphins, I was a bit anxious that we might not encounter them since we were dealing with nature, but we were able to see them underwater! (Interestingly, it seems that there were no sightings for the three days leading up to our participation.) Although we didn't see them up close like in an aquarium, I was moved to encounter wild dolphins! After that, we split into activities and snorkeling. I experienced snorkeling, and I was able to see many fish up close as well. On the way back, we had a fun time dancing hula with the staff. It became a wonderful memory of our once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon!

そして肝心のイルカですが、自然が相手なので出会えないかもと不安もありましたが、水中でも見ることできました！（ちなみに参加日までの3日間は出会えなかったみたいです）水族館みたいに近距離でみれたわけではありませんが野生のイルカに出会えたのには感動しました！その後はアクティビティとシュノーケルに分かれました。シュノーケルを体験しましたがこちらもたくさんの魚を真近で見ることができました。帰りにはスタッフさんとフラで盛り上がったりと楽しいひと時でした。たった一度のハネムーンの良い思い出になりました！

This was a great experience. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. I was having problems swimming in the choppy water and one of the girls stuck by me, made sure I was ok and also made sure I was able to see the dolphins.
My son and grandson loved seeing the turtles and the kayak.
Thank you for a wonderful time. We highly recommend this excursion with this company. They’re outstanding!

In the distance, I could see what looked like the tail of a whale and the shadow of a sea turtle, but in the end, there were no dolphins at all.

Along the way, I snorkeled for about an hour, but I didn't see any fish in areas that weren't particularly beautiful, like the coral reefs. When I participated in snorkeling tours in other countries, I had experiences where I saw very beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish, so if we weren't going to see dolphins, I wished we could at least stop at a spot where we could expect to see more tropical fish. Just looking at the white sand underwater quickly bored my child, and when we returned to the boat, it was cold.

One positive point was that the staff were very cheerful, dancing the hula and letting us ride in canoes.

I understand that these things can happen when dealing with nature, but I was disappointed that I invested a whole day, starting with a 5 AM gathering, for such a rare day in Hawaii.

By the way, as an apology for the group that didn't see dolphins, they said the next participation fee would be discounted by $20. However, since there's no guarantee that the same thing won't happen again, I won't participate anymore.

一つ良かった点は、スタッフの皆さんがとても陽気で、フラダンスを踊ってくださったり、カヌーに乗せてくれたりしました。

自然相手なのでこういうこともあるかとは思うのですが、貴重なハワイの1日を朝5時代に集合して一日投資したのにと残念でした。

ちなみに、イルカを見れなかったグループへのおわびとしては、次回参加代金が20ドルにディスカウントされるのだそうです。
同じことが2度ないとも限らないので、もう参加はしませんが。

I participated with my 6-year-old child, but swimming with the dolphins was quite a challenge, so my spouse and I took turns. The activity slide looked fun, and it was great to see everyone enjoying it.

It was mid-December, and I heard it was cold even with a wetsuit, so I brought a winter rash guard just in case and wore diving shorts underneath, which kept me warm.

We were able to see about 10 dolphins up close! During snorkeling, we encountered about 3 dolphins, and I was very satisfied! I was also glad to see a sea turtle from the boat.

I think it can depend on the weather, but unlike other tours, it was great to have an eco-friendly and authentic experience. Thank you!

The waves were high, and the sea was murky; occasionally, we could see the dolphins' fins, but not clearly. During that time, I ended up drinking water multiple times and was coughing (-_-;) I got back on the boat once to search for where the dolphins were and moved to a different spot. However, when I got in the water for the second time, I was shivering too much from the cold and had no choice but to give up. My husband went in. He encountered the dolphins and said he was able to swim with them a little, which made him happy, but I was still struggling with the cold and just wanted to go back. I had that feeling the whole time... I want to try again during a warmer season instead of winter.

Before moving to Waianae Harbor, there was an explanation (in English and Japanese), and I signed a consent form on an iPad. There was enough time to take a nap during the transfer.

The reason I booked this tour was because it was described as "a healing tour to swim with wild dolphins in the sea!" However, in reality, diving was prohibited. It was more of a dolphin watching experience while snorkeling. The life jackets were the type that hang around the neck and were mandatory (you could deflate them). On December 13th, the water quality was poor and murky, possibly due to high waves. The dolphins were mostly deep down and only faintly visible (the staff would say, "Look down!!"). They didn't come close at all, and it ended quickly. After that, we moved to the snorkeling point where we could enjoy SUP, sea kayaking, and a slide. However, the snorkeling point we went to had nothing. There were no corals, no turtles, and only a few fish were spotted. I later heard that the captain decides which snorkeling points to go to, but this was just too disappointing.

For lunch, we had a pre-made cheeseburger with taro buns wrapped in foil. The buns were a bit sweet, so preferences may vary. There were also chips. Drinks included free water and lemonade on board (on December 13th, there was warm tea, possibly because it was cold). There were also restrooms available. If you're worried about seasickness, it's better to take something (three people vomited and were down). On the way back to the harbor, there was hula and ukulele performance, and the staff's effort to entertain was nice. Some people bought a USB with photos and videos during the ride, as there was a $5 discount, but it's important to think carefully about whether you'll see dolphins, whether you might get seasick, or whether the weather might prevent you from getting good photos before purchasing in advance. The eco bags were probably only for those who purchased the USB. I didn't receive anything. Honestly, I didn't feel that the service was worth the tour fee of $156.

今回こちらのツアーを予約したのは説明文にある＂海で野生のイルカと一緒に泳ぐ癒しのツアー！＂と記載されていたからです。実際は潜る潜水行為禁止。イルカウォッチングをシュノーケルしながらの形になります。ライフジャケットは首からさげるタイプで着用義務(エアーは抜くことができます)。12/13は波が高かったのもあるのか水質は悪く濁っていました。イルカはずっと下の方に居てうっすらと見える程度(スタッフが＂Look down!!＂と教えてくれます)。近くに寄って来てくれることもなく。あっという間に終了。その後シュノーケルポイントに移動しSUPやシーカヤック、滑り台などを楽しめます。しかし、行ったシュノーケルポイントはなんにもない所でした。珊瑚もなければ亀は居ない、魚は数匹みかけた程度。後から聞いた話ではいくつかあるシュノーケルポイントをキャプテンの判断で決めるそうですが、これが、あまりに酷すぎでした。その後お昼ご飯は事前に作られホイルで包まれたタロイモのバンズでできたチーズバーガー。バンズは少し甘めで好みがあると思います。おまけにチップス。飲み物は船内に自由に飲めるお水とレモネードがあります(12/13は寒かった為か暖かいお茶もありました)。トイレも完備されています。船酔いを心配されている方は飲んだ方がいいです(3名嘔吐してダウンしてました)。ハーバーまでの帰り道にフラやウクレレ演奏があり、スタッフの楽しませようとしてくれる雰囲気は良かったです。行きの車内で写真と動画のUSBを購入すると$5割引になる為購入している方がいましたが、イルカに会えるかもわからない、船酔いしてダウンするかもしれない、天気が悪く良い写真が撮れていないかもしれない事をよく考えた上で事前購入しましょう。エコバッグはおそらくUSB購入者だけです。何ももらえませんでした。正直私はツアー代金$156の見合ったサービスを受けられたとは思いませんでした。

I woke up early, swayed by the bus, and headed to the dock while rubbing my sleepy eyes. After offering a prayer to the sea, we set sail on our long-awaited dolphin search journey. Unfortunately, we couldn't see dolphins up close during the two dives, but we did see them jumping from the boat, and most importantly, we were lucky enough to witness the whale's courtship dance multiple times, which was satisfying! The instructors were very cheerful and really energized everyone, making it a lot of fun! I want to go again when I come back to Hawaii! I hope to see dolphins up close next time! ♫

The female instructor was very energetic. I was a bit surprised by her high energy in the morning. However, she worked hard to find dolphins, and we were able to see wild dolphins. The snorkeling was also very beautiful.
