It was January, but the weather was nice and we had a great time. We saw a lot of sea turtles, and the hamburgers we ate on the beautiful ocean were the best! The sandbar was an experience like no other and was truly moving. The kids enjoyed playing beach volleyball. Our Japanese guide was very fun and showed us various scenic photo spots. The staff was lively, and we had a wonderful time. Even with small children, we were able to enjoy ourselves very much.

昼食はBBQと記載がありましたが、船で焼いたお肉のパティをパンで挟んで食べるハンバーガーでした！結構ボリュームもありましたが、余りがあればおかわりもできます‼︎‼︎

ウミガメは1月中旬でも7〜9匹見ることができました‼︎

シュノーケリング後、温かい飲み物も用意されており大満足の一日でした。
※水着を着替えるところはないので、船のデッキかトイレで早めに着替えることをお勧めします！

I read other people's comments before leaving my own. As everyone has mentioned, the staff's hospitality is amazing. Of course, the tour content is also fulfilling. It includes a variety of activities, delicious meals, and is undoubtedly a valuable tour. The staff enhances the experience with their thoughtful attention (they understand Japanese people well), making it even more enjoyable. Families with small children, young couples, and older individuals (like us!?) can all have a great time. It's no surprise that there are many repeat visitors. The staff was kind, and Justin was very funny, inviting my mother, who is elderly and stayed on the boat without entering the water, to join in the fun, which made her very happy. The sandbar was just at low tide, shining and sparkling in the sunlight, and it was beautiful. Last time it was a bit cloudy, so this time we were very satisfied. However, it was disappointing that we didn't see many fish while snorkeling. Last time there were many coral reefs, and my daughter, who was in sixth grade at the time, swam comfortably and was amazed by the colorful fish, so the family participating for the first time was really looking forward to it. This time, the water was murky, and my daughter found it a bit scary to swim due to the lack of coral reefs, so she seemed to struggle and couldn't enjoy snorkeling. But it was touching to see sea turtles come close and right in front of us multiple times. If there’s another opportunity, I would definitely want to join Captain Bruce again.

First of all, SANDBAR is one of the most beautiful places you’ll see. I’m not sure why is not in top 10 activities from Hawaii, but they told is more a local secret. Is a kind of mini beach in the middle of the ocean, with sand, you can bring your speaker, chairs, or whatever. Is a magic place.

The crew was full of good vibes, they made hamburgers for us and they also bring a guitar and make a great moment with that view. After the first stop at the sand bar they took us to snorkel and wauuu, such a nice place to do this, with giant turtles and a lot of fishes.

I have no bad comments for this one, was one my tops, and we do A LOT of activities this time. Trust us, you have to visit the Sandbar, and Captain Bob’s is a great choice to do this!

We used this for our honeymoon trip to Hawaii. As it was an outdoor recreation activity, we were concerned about the weather, but fortunately, it was a clear day! Good points:
- The staff are all friendly and cheerful.
- I encountered sea turtles! Two were swimming, and two were under the coral reef while snorkeling.
- The view is amazing as you're surrounded by the ocean!
- There are quite a few fish around the coral reef.
- After snorkeling, you can play with the stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing equipment. It's really fun.
- The food was surprisingly delicious.
- The boat ride was short, so I didn't have to worry about seasickness (though it depends on the person).

Bad points:
- They emphasize the sandbar, but there isn't much time when it actually becomes a beach, is there? In the afternoons during this season, it was only about knee-deep.

We participated with my parents in their 60s and my husband. We were picked up by the hotel and drove for about 50 minutes to board the boat. The boat stopped near the sandbar, and we walked to the shallowest area. The sea water was cold, but the weather was nice, and since the water was only about calf-deep at the shallowest point, we could see the beautiful sandy beach!

We snorkeled in water about 5 to 6 meters deep while wearing life jackets. I’m not a strong swimmer, but thanks to the life jacket and snorkel mask, I had a great time and was surprised to see sea turtles up close about three times!

After snorkeling, we could also do kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. There was a couple with small children; the parents enjoyed snorkeling while their kids were brought close to them on another staff boat. I thought it was wonderful how considerate they were.

Additionally, there wasn't a specific time or place to change, so those who wanted to take off their swimsuits were able to wrap towels around themselves and change during free time.

It was a wonderful day with no wind, and the view of the distant Kualoa mountains was crystal clear. I checked the low tide times during my trip and participated in the morning Heaven on the Sea tour. Surrounded by coral, I was able to swim with sea turtles while snorkeling. I also got to see many colorful tropical fish, and the marine activities were plentiful and very enjoyable. Next time, I would like to go when it’s - feet.

My husband wasn't feeling up to swimming in the ocean, but once we reached the sandbar, we played beach volleyball and got caught up in snorkeling, losing track of time and having a great time. As it was my husband's first time snorkeling, he was amazed by the beautiful coral reefs and the schools of fish, repeatedly exclaiming, "This is great! It's beautiful!" Since there were staff who spoke Japanese, we felt no anxiety, and as the boat was primarily for Japanese tourists, we made friends with the people sitting next to us. Under the blue sea and sky of Hawaii, we spent time with the bright and kind staff, learned about the Hawaiian spirit of cherishing nature, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you very much.

The sandbar was deeper than I imagined from the pictures, and my 6-year-old child seemed to struggle for breath every time a wave hit, quickly wanting to get back on the boat. The weather that day wasn't very good, and the wind made it quite cold, which contributed to my child's lack of enjoyment. However, the local guides and all the staff were really fun and great people, which was wonderful. I hope to go again in the summer when my child is a bit older.
