Really unique, beautiful experience

Our preference was to go at low tide and we had a blast. During snorkeling we even got to see some turtles. I believe we saw 4 individual tuetles.

The big surprise was the level of customer service. We were the only passengers with young kids and the staff was very accommodating to us. They were engaging to all the passengers but I was so impressed how they engaged my youngest (age 5) who can be a handful. If you have never gone to the sand bar the decision has to be to experience it as soon as possible. If you are deciding which company to take you out there, I recommend captain Bruce. It's clean, there are snacks, coffee, tea, a restroom, tons of water toys, and it's good for groups, couples and families.

Beautiful if Weather Permits

This was the activity I was most looking forward to while in Oahu and unfortunately it landed on a super windy and raining day. I wish we would’ve had the opportunity to reschedule to a day with better weather as it would’ve been much more enjoyable. Regardless, the crew members were amazing and ensured everyone in my party felt comfortable while snorkeling. The lunch was yummy and post snorkeling hot chocolate was the perfect ending. We were able to see multiple sea turtles and even encountered a few while snorkeling!!!

I had an amazing time. The entire crew was very helpful and friendly. They made me very confident with snorkeling, it was my first time and the young lady came out into the water with me and guided me through the whole process of breathing

There were no Japanese guides available on the Beltora menu, possibly because there are hardly any Japanese users. We participated from the mainland United States, but I think people coming from Japan would be disappointed, so if there are no guides, it would be better to remove them from the menu.

The whole trip from the moment we docked to the second we got off was amazing! The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was an amazing and unique experience with the crew. Thank you for taking care of my and my bf. They educated everyone and made sure everyone is safe at all activities. They set up a net for volleyball in the middle of Sandbar and next thing you know was laughters all a bunch of strangers playing and having fun. I will definitely recommend to all of my friends and families.

We chose to drive ourselves. Easy drive from the North Shore. The sand bar is a unique feature but not particularly exciting. The reef layer in the day was what made the day. Lots of fish and a few turtles swimming around. There weren’t other tours with boats on top of us loaded with people either.

Recommended trip!

Book early, fun trip! This was recommended to me by a coworker who visited a month before my family. Glad I took her advice, loved it! We were upgraded to a private boat and loved our guide. He took us to the regular spot as well as a more private spot. We got lucky and saw many honu both big and small. It also helped that the weather was perfect. Definitely will do this trip again next time we’re at this island.

Great time had by all! Great for 7 year olds! The fresh water shower when coming out of the ocean was a special touch. It rinsed the salt water from my hair and suit before returning to dry land! Good food too! Best meal I’ve had on one of these trips!

We very much enjoyed this trip to the sandbar, with perfect weather, crystal clear ocean, and amazing views everywhere you look. We saw sea turtles and lots of fish when snorkeling at a beautiful coral reef. We would very much like to do this again sometime, potentially bringing additional friends or family.

My family had a fantastic time on the sandbar cruise. It was our first time.

Every staff member was very friendly and professional. They helped us with everything we needed. Activities on cruise & sandbar was fun and enjoyable.

My kids loved the sandbar & learning how to snorkel there. And the best part is that they serve you lunch and have beer for sale.

We had a great experience and will likely do it again when we return to Oahu.

Our best excursion!

We did a total of 3 excursions in Hawaii and this was by far the best one! The sandbar was such a unique experience, lunch was super yummy, and there was ample time for snorkeling. They even had a makeshift freshwater rinse at the end and hot drinks to keep us warm on the way back. 100% would do this excursion again. Thank you to the whole crew for an amazing time!
