Two years ago, we participated in a sandbar tour for the first time with my family, but due to the bad weather, it was too cold, and I regretted having to borrow a wetsuit and shivering on the boat. I wanted to see the amazing views again, so this time I joined with my daughter. Although the weather wasn't perfect, the scenery was much better than last time, and we were fortunate to encounter a school of manta rays, which is quite rare. I appreciated the timing of this trip. The relaxed atmosphere from the captain and the staff was great for us as repeat visitors.

The BBQ lunch we had on the boat was grilled directly by the captain himself, making for a perfect lunchtime while enjoying the views. It was delicious! After lunch, we went snorkeling and swam with beautiful tropical fish and turtles around the coral reefs.

Thank you to the Japanese staff member, Yukiko. I visit Hawaii every year, and I will definitely join the tour again next year!

２年前のお正月に家族で初めてサンドバーへのツアーに参加しましたが、天気も悪かったせいで、寒すぎてウエットスーツをお借りして、船の中で震えていたことが残念に思えていました。
最高の景色をもう一度見たくて、今回娘と二人で参加しました。
晴天とは言えなったのですが、前回よりも遙かに景色もよく、なかなか見ることのできない、マンタの群れに遭遇するなど、今回のタイミングに感謝でした。船長さんをはじめ、スタッフさんのラフな感じが２度目の私たちにはとてもよかったです。
船の中で食べたBBQランチは、船長さん本人がグリルで直接焼いてくれて、景色を眺めながら最高のランチタイムでした。美味しかったです！
ランチ後のシュノーケリングでは、サンゴ礁の周りにいるきれいな熱帯魚や亀と一緒に泳いだりできました。
スタッフの日本人女性ユキコ？さん、ありがとうございました。
毎年ハワイは行きますが、また来年もツアーに参加しますね～

We actually were locals to the islands but live in the mainland now. Wanted to see the sandbar. It was a great tour. Everyone on the boat ⛵️ from captain Ashley to everyone in her boat was awesome and super nice and accomandating. Would recommend anyone for this tour got to snorkel see and the sandbar. Food was pretty good to.

I joined this tour after reading reviews. As someone who can't swim at all, I felt like I could swim on this tour, and I had been set on doing snorkeling here! After receiving explanations together, I practiced one-on-one with Teacher Chieko, who kindly encouraged me to relax, and before I knew it, my fear of the water disappeared. Once I got used to it, it was really easy!

I quickly got comfortable and joined everyone else, swimming with my husband holding my hand. I swam in the ocean for the first time in my life. The beauty of the underwater world was truly amazing!! I was able to see many fish and even a sea turtle♡

The only ones who swam energetically until the end were those wearing wetsuits (including me). I highly recommend wetsuits for sun protection and managing your health! Even though I was so anxious about not being able to swim, I wanted to keep swimming forever, and it was the best tour I had in Hawaii! My husband and I talked about wanting to do it again.

Teacher Dan was fluent in Japanese and great at making jokes, which made our time really enjoyable♫ Thank you for the wonderful photos!! I'm grateful to both of you☆ I want to try diving next time (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

まったく泳げない私はこのツアーなら泳げるような気がして、シュノーケルやるならここ！！ってずっと決めてました。
みんなで説明を受けた後、最初は泳げない私とチエコ先生とマンツーマンで練習し、その間優しい声をかけてリラックスさせてくれて、いつしか水に対する恐怖心はなくなってました。慣れたらとても簡単でした！
すぐに慣れてみんなと合流し、夫に手を引いてもらって泳ぎました。
…生まれて初めて海を泳げました。海の中の綺麗さは本当に素晴らしかったです！！たくさんのお魚にウミガメも見る事が出来ました♡
最後まで元気に泳いでたのは見事にウエットスーツを着てる人だけでした（私も）。日焼け防止と体調管理にウエットスーツは本当にオススメです！
あんなに泳げなくて不安だったのに、ずっとずっと泳いでいたいくらいで、ハワイに来て１番最高のツアーだったね！またやりたい！って夫と話してました。

I think there were no issues with the pick-up service. They came to pick us up at the hotel right on time. The weather was bad from the morning, and although it hadn't started raining yet, it was the coldest day in Hawaii. The explanation for snorkeling was longer than expected, and while we listened to it in the water, my husband and I were shivering, but we finally couldn't take it anymore and went back to the boat to drink some warm tea (laughs). The staff were fun and it was a great time. The day I made the reservation was forecasted to be rainy, but somehow it cleared up, and the sandbar looked beautiful. However, since it had been raining for several days, the water level was up to my waist, which was deeper than I had imagined. The lunch hamburger was also delicious, as they grilled the meat on the boat. I would love to go again if I have the chance!

I had been looking forward to this place for a long time. It was sunny, but as soon as we got on the boat, it started to rain... Fortunately, it stopped quickly. What impressed me the most was the service. The staff promptly wiped down the benches that had gotten wet from the rain. I didn't expect that at all since I was in my swimsuit and it was overseas, so I was really happy about it. Also, surprisingly, the boat's restroom was clean!

In addition to seeing sea turtles, we also spotted manta rays (which are said to be rare), and I was very satisfied with the snorkeling experience. The staff were all kind and entertaining. The lunch was delicious too; the captain grilled hamburgers on the boat, which made for great burgers.

The only downside was that the sandbar was a bit deep. But that can change from day to day, so I just had bad luck... I'm thinking about trying again next year. I would like to go with the same tour company as this time.

今回残念だったのは少しサンドバーが深かった事。でもこれは日によって変わるし運が悪かった…
また来年チャレンジしよっかな。
今回と同じツアー会社さんで行きたいです。

I was able to see dolphins!!!
Since I had heard that wild dolphins might not be seen sometimes, I was a bit worried about today, but I was truly moved to be able to see them o(^▽^)o♡
I was able to see them so clearly that I felt like I was looking at an aquarium tank.
I got to watch them swim for a while, and I was so happy to see a small baby dolphin too!
They swam quite close to us.
The dolphins were really cute o(^▽^)o
Not only dolphins, but I also saw about five or six sea turtles!
It was my first time seeing so many sea turtles up close, and I was really impressed!
When they came up for air, I was able to see them so closely, it was amazing!! I regretted not bringing an underwater camera... (laughs)

The sandbars you see on TV only appear when you calculate the tides. If you happen to experience a water depth of around your ankles, I think you’re quite lucky. The world you see on TV might be a bit difficult to experience on a tour, unless you rent a private boat and plan the date and time accordingly. When I went, it was from mid to late September, and the shallowest part was about halfway up my thighs.

Indeed, the water near the sandbar was clear and beautiful. However, it rained, and the overall experience was somewhat lacking.

The hamburgers made on the boat were delicious. The patties were frozen, but they grilled them on a BBQ, so they tasted great.

The issue came after lunch. We moved from the sandbar to an area with lots of coral for snorkeling. They took us to a place where you could say the coral spread over a large area. We were warned not to touch the coral, but depending on the tides, in shallow areas, the coral was about 30 cm below the surface. Can you swim in such places? The coral wasn’t particularly beautiful, and there weren’t many fish, so I didn’t feel the joy of snorkeling at all. Additionally, I was the only one who got stung by jellyfish multiple times on both shoulders and hands, having to endure pain and itching. You could say I was unlucky, but for this kind of experience, it felt overpriced.

ただ船の上で作ってくれるハンバーガーは美味しかったです。( ´艸｀)パテは冷凍物ですが、BBQ用のコンロ？で焼いてくれるので、美味しかったです。

問題はランチを食べた後。
サンドバーから、珊瑚がたくさんあるところへ移動して、シュノーケリングをします。確かに珊瑚のの岩と言ってもいいぐらい大きい範囲にわたって珊瑚がある場所に連れて行ってくれます。
珊瑚には触らないようにと注意を受けましたが、潮の具合なのか浅いところだと水面から30cmぐらいの所に珊瑚があります。こんな所で泳げますか？？
特にキレイ珊瑚でもないし、魚がたくさんいるわけでもなく、シュノーケリングの楽しさが全く感じられませんでした。
そして私だけクラゲにたくさん刺されて両肩、両手と痛みと痒みに耐えなければなりませんでした。
運がなかったと言えばそれまでですが、こんな内容に対しては高いという感じです。

When we participated, there were many foreign participants, but they kindly taught us various things in Japanese, which made us feel at ease during the tour. It was my second time snorkeling, but perhaps because we were in the water for a bit longer than before, I got seasick. Next time, I want to take motion sickness medication before participating. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see any turtles. The view was very beautiful.

I was expecting a beach that looked like the one in the photos, but after a one-hour bus ride (and a late pickup) and a 20-minute boat ride, I arrived at just a beautiful sea. The water was only waist-deep, so it felt like I paid a lot of money just to soak in a nice sea. The guide was friendly and had a great attitude, so I gave it two stars, but it was still very disappointing.

The Japanese guide was very attentive and made the experience enjoyable. However, the water level was higher than waist height due to high tide. I recommend going during low tide! It's a good idea to bring a large bath towel and a phone that can be hung around your neck! Also, since changing rooms can get crowded, it's advisable to wear your swimsuit from the start and have an outfit like a dress for quick changes!

I've always wanted to visit Sandbar♡ I went there on my honeymoon. At the start of the tour, it was rainy and cloudy... just when I was feeling anxious, the sky cleared up!!!! I checked the tide levels when I signed up, so I knew that the sandbar would have water at least up to my knees on certain days, but the snorkeling experience was terrible.

We departed with over 60 people on a large bus, and the number increased even more at the location. With that many people, we were just taken in a line around a designated course and that was it. The snorkeling time was about 5 minutes? It felt more like a swimming lesson for kids. It would have been better not to do it at all.

The guide and crew had a good vibe and took photos and provided services, but the tour program itself was just too awful. I do not recommend it.

This is my second time participating, following last year. My travel companion doesn't snorkel, so I always sign up alone, but both Dan and Chieko talked to me a lot, so I didn't feel lonely at all. I highly recommend this for anyone who is going alone.

They provide thorough snorkeling instruction, so even though it had been a year since my last snorkeling experience, I was able to enjoy seeing the underwater world without any issues.

Photos can be downloaded for free from Facebook. I would like to participate again next time.

しかし、それ以上に、朝のモーニングコール、船の上でのクルーの皆さんのフラダンスやパフォーマンス、多くの人にドルフィンに会ってもらいたいというクルーの皆さん想いに触れて、感動しました。
色々な会社さんのドルフィンツアーがありますが、ドルフィンアンドユー様をおすすめします。私も、是非、また参加したいです。

After the dolphins, we went to the turtle point, and that was really great. It was my first time seeing so many turtles, including baby turtles, up close. Stand-up paddleboarding and the trampoline were also a lot of fun. The BBQ hamburgers were delicious because they cooked them right there on the spot. Dan and his wife were lovely and very helpful with the group of 9. Being a first time snorkeler and not a very good swimmer, they were patient with each and every one of us. We saw some lovely fish but unfortunately did not see turtles that day! :( Will definitely be back next time though! 10/10 would recommend especially for first time beginners.
