Parasailing was amazing! The captain and crew were very enthusiastic, and even though my fellow passengers were strangers, they chatted with me before and after parasailing. I was filled with anxiety, but it was so much fun.
(Note) Japanese is not well understood.

I had previously experienced parasailing in Okinawa, but the parasailing in Hawaii was on a different scale in terms of scenery and height! Since you don't need to control anything or exert much effort, I especially recommend participating at 150 meters for those who are not particularly anxious.

The weather was great, so I was able to see the ocean stretching to the horizon, the resort area with hotels, and Diamond Head clearly. They picked us up in front of the hotel, and a group of 6 to 8 people boarded the boat, taking turns to fly up into the sky. Once everyone in the group had their experience, we returned to the port and were taken back to the hotel in a shared minibus.

I was able to request in advance to join the same group as acquaintances who were participating at 100 meters, which was helpful. Most of the other participants and the local tour guides spoke mainly in English, so I couldn't catch all the explanations, but they communicated basic instructions in Japanese, like "sign here," "put this on," and "lift your legs," so I didn't feel particularly anxious.

One thing to note is that there was someone from another group who got seasick and looked exhausted at the port, so if you're prone to motion sickness, I recommend taking some medication beforehand. Also, when they asked if it was okay to get wet, if you respond with "okay," they will add an action that submerges you in the water up to your waist, so if you're okay with that, I suggest bringing a bath towel or something light to wear. The shuttle bus has air conditioning, so if you're wet, it can get quite cold. There isn't really a place or timing to change, so having something to wear during the ride would be good.

気になることがあるとすれば、他の組の方で船に酔われて港でぐったりされている方がおられたので、気になる方は事前に酔い止め服用がいいかと思います。また、ビショビショオーケー？と聞かれた際、オーケーと答えると腰くらいまで海に浸かるようなアクションを加えてもらえるのですが、その気であればバスタオルか軽く羽織るものを準備するかといいかと思います。送迎のバスはクーラーが効いているので濡れたままだとかなり冷えます。着替えるような場所やタイミングはないので、移動中羽織るくらいのものがあればと思います。

所用時間も短く、事前準備も特に必要ないので何をしようか迷われている方に特にオススメです。

I chose the 150m parasailing, and it went really high, offering a fantastic view. We went in the morning and finished by noon, so I think we made good use of our day.

This is my second time in Hawaii! This time, my wife and I went parasailing for the first time.

We had a great time with two other Japanese couples and a family with a Japanese wife, making a total of four groups.

The pickup was on time and very close to the hotel, which was easy to find.

It was early in the morning in mid-October, but the wind felt nice as we went higher and higher, and my wife and I were super excited to see the boat getting smaller!

The weather was clear, and I enjoyed the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above, experiencing sights that can't be seen from the ground. It felt like I was a bird.

We paired up and had about a 10-minute aerial walk. There wasn't unnecessary conversation, but if you wanted, they offered to take photos and provided a chapon service, which was efficient and nice.

I was relieved that the pickup would come right to the hotel, but it didn't arrive on time, and we ended up waiting for about 30 minutes before it finally came. We also had to wait about 30 minutes at the dock before we could board the boat and depart. The woman at the reception spoke a little Japanese, but the two men who explained things during the transfer and on the boat didn't seem to speak any Japanese at all, so all the explanations were in English. The pickup at 1:15 PM for the 2 PM start was slightly delayed, but they arrived at the designated location. After showing the voucher to a female staff member for confirmation, we boarded a van that could hold about ten people and set off. Upon arriving at the port, we received an explanation that we could also catch our return ride from there (we participated as a group of five, but none of us understood much English). I communicated in broken English that we didn't need a ride back since we wanted to shop at a nearby Patagonia after parasailing, and I handed her a tip (about $5 for the five of us). She kindly suggested that she would take us back after we were done. I think she was a nice person. By the way, the woman who handled the transportation didn't speak Japanese, but the male owner of the shop, whose identity is unclear, was very good at Japanese, and the check-in process went smoothly!

The parasailing was incredibly fun and enjoyable, especially with the good weather! The rope was 150 meters long, and I think the higher you go, the better it feels. パラセーリングは天気も良く言うまでもなく最高に楽しいし、気持ちいい！150mのロープ？でしたが高いほうがより気持ちいいと思います。港に着くとウミガメが近くで泳いでいるのが見えて嬉しかったです。チップも多くはありませんが渡すと喜んでもらえました。

The life jackets are only worn during parasailing, so if you're not holding onto the railing, you might seriously feel like you're going to be thrown off. The women in our group screamed! We took motion sickness medication, so we were fine, but four people ended up getting seasick.

I think the waiting time on the boat depends on the number of participants, and since we were facing backward to watch those parasailing, along with the wave height, it contributed to the motion sickness. We participated as a family of four. Out of the ten participants, everyone except our family was foreign, and they were lively, cheering and clapping, making the time enjoyable even outside of our own experience. Each pair had about ten minutes of experience, and we returned to the port after 1 hour and 10 minutes from departure.

It was our first time parasailing, and the view from above was magnificent and refreshing. When we reached the highest point, it felt like we were at the same height as Diamond Head. The sky and sea were both a brilliant blue, and Waikiki, with its lined-up hotels, looked beautiful, making us feel like we had stepped into a postcard.

Our daughters participated while filming with a GoPro, and that video became a nice souvenir. Just for reference, I tend to be a bit anxious and brought various items with me, but I hardly got wet (just a little on my feet), and I didn't need to use a towel or change clothes. Haha.

We signed up for parasailing at 9:00 with three people, but one person was unwell, so we participated with two. The pickup was a bit late... If you're not good with heights, it might be a bit challenging (I'm not good with them either), but the view was amazing. After it was over, I was a bit startled when there was no car to pick me up, but it seemed like it was just delayed a little because they were dropping off the next group of participants.

I was a bit worried when the pickup was delayed, but after waiting for about 20 minutes, I met up with the staff and felt relieved. After the pickup, I signed a waiver in the car, and as soon as we arrived at the location, we were guided to the boat, ready to set off into the waters of Waikiki. There were six groups on the boat (we were the only Japanese), and ten minutes later, the first group started parasailing! It's something anyone can do, and it's definitely worth experiencing even if you're not in Hawaii.

We were picked up by the hotel and after waiting for about 10 minutes, we boarded a boat with six groups and headed out to sea. The view from the boat was amazing with the blue sky and ocean. Everyone felt like friends, and we had fun high-fiving each other.

We had booked the parasailing for 150. The breathtaking view from the top was indescribable. It was beautiful! So much fun!!! The landing with a splash into the sea was also enjoyable.

On the way back, we stayed in Kaka'ako and enjoyed Walmart.

It was our first time in Hawaii for our honeymoon and our first experience with parasailing. We were quite anxious when our pickup didn't arrive even after the scheduled time, but we waited patiently, and eventually, they came 17 minutes late. (It seemed that everyone else except us was a foreign guest, and they probably weren't at the meeting point on time.)

Neither the driver nor the staff at the parasailing check-in spoke much Japanese, so we struggled a bit with our zero English skills, but the boat staff spoke a little Japanese and were friendly.

I thought they would take photos for us and we could buy the data later, but if I hadn't said anything, we wouldn't have had any photos taken. So, if you want pictures, it's better to confirm in advance.

The parasailing itself was very stable and not scary at all! It was a luxurious time where we could see the city and beach of Waikiki and Diamond Head all at once. The boat captain was a young man who successfully fulfilled our request for a "little splashdown," and he was skilled! Another male staff member was also very pleasant.

It probably depends on the sea conditions, but I didn't mind the boat's rocking at all, and I enjoyed the view from the boat during the waiting time. This is an activity I would love to experience again.

パラセーリング 自体は、とても安定感があって全く怖くなかったです！ワイキキの街やビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッドを一望できる、贅沢な時間でした♪
ボートのキャプテンは若い男性でしたが 「少しだけ着水」を見事希望通り叶えてくれましたし、上手でしたよ！もう一人の男性スタッフも感じ良かったです。
海のコンディションによるんでしょうが、ボートの揺れも気にならず、待機時間も船上からの眺めを満喫できて楽しかったです。
また体験したいアクティビティです。

The view is amazing. I participated with a digital camera in hand, and although I had a foot strap, the camera was fine. It seems you can choose between no strap, waist, or foot options. When I said "a little," it was about the foot strap. Quite a few people were paragliding while holding their smartphones around their necks or selfie sticks. They won't take responsibility if you fall, though.

We flew in the morning, and the weather was wonderful. We were able to return to Ohana Waikiki Malia Hotel by 9:30.

A couple from California who rode with us joked, "Terrace House?" I couldn't respond well and just laughed. I guess it's famous because Netflix is airing Terrace House.

Since I applied on my home computer just before departure, I left without confirming the pickup location and time, which made me really anxious about whether I could participate. Just to be safe, after arriving in Hawaii, I called the local contact number and checked my page to confirm the location and other details. When I called the local contact, I couldn't understand much as they spoke in Japanese, but I soon received a call from someone who could speak Japanese, which made me feel relieved and able to participate. There were three groups of foreigners and two groups of Japanese, including my family, totaling 12 people on the boat. My son and I flew together. The view of Diamond Head in the distance and the blue ocean from above was very beautiful. I didn't find it too scary, but my son seemed to be scared and couldn't let go of both hands, so he couldn't take pictures with his smartphone. (Photos are available for purchase at $30 for a CD with the data for those who want them.) The piloting technique of taking off from the back of the boat, dipping into the sea up to the waist, and landing at the back was impressive. I experienced parasailing for the first time at 150 meters. The view from the sky was truly amazing and felt great!!! I could see the ocean as far as the eye could reach, and it was beautiful to overlook Diamond Head♪( ´▽｀) The staff were kind and funny, and I had a wonderful time ( ^ω^ ) Since it was a honeymoon trip, it became a very special memory ( ^ω^ )♡ By the way, for those who are prone to seasickness, it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication!

I participated in a double date with four people. Everyone else was foreign. English was the standard language, and I was initially anxious, but they provided the necessary instructions in Japanese.

At the meeting point, a driver with high energy was waiting for us, constantly saying things like "hee-haw." I thought it was unimaginable in Japan that he was chewing something like tobacco while driving and giving instructions.

We boarded the boat and handed over to a handsome young man and the captain. The parasailing started with the white guests in order, and we were last. I love roller coasters, but while taking off it was fun, and during the 10 minutes of floating, there wasn't much movement, which was actually a bit scary. It ended in the blink of an eye, but be careful as you can't go to the bathroom for an hour and a half.

We each paid a tip of $10, but it seemed that some of the white guests didn't tip.

チップは1人10ドルづつ払いましたが、白人のお客さんは払っていない人もいたようでした。
