We signed up for parasailing at 9:00 with three people, but one person was unwell, so we participated with two. The pickup was a bit late... We boarded the boat with three families, and there was a pouch with instructions for Japanese guests. They asked if we wanted to take photos. I thought $30 was too much, so I declined. If you're not good with heights, it might be a bit challenging (I'm not good with them either), but the view was amazing. After it was over, I was a bit startled when there was no car to pick me up, but it seemed like it was just delayed a little because they were dropping off the next group of participants.

It's something anyone can do, and it's definitely worth experiencing even if you're not in Hawaii.

We were picked up by the hotel and after waiting for about 10 minutes, we boarded a boat with six groups and headed out to sea. The view from the boat was amazing with the blue sky and ocean. Everyone felt like friends, and we had fun high-fiving each other.

We had booked the parasailing for 150. The breathtaking view from the top was indescribable. It was beautiful! So much fun!!! The landing with a splash into the sea was also enjoyable.

On the way back, we stayed in Kaka'ako and enjoyed Walmart.

It was our first time in Hawaii for our honeymoon and our first experience with parasailing. We were quite anxious when our pickup didn't arrive even after the scheduled time, but we waited patiently, and eventually, they came 17 minutes late. (It seemed that everyone else except us was a foreign guest, and they probably weren't at the meeting point on time.)

Neither the driver nor the staff at the parasailing check-in spoke much Japanese, so we struggled a bit with our zero English skills, but the boat staff spoke a little Japanese and were friendly.

I thought they would take photos for us and we could buy the data later, but if I hadn't said anything, we wouldn't have had any photos taken. So, if you want pictures, it's better to confirm in advance.

The parasailing itself was very stable and not scary at all! It was a luxurious time where we could see the city and beach of Waikiki and Diamond Head all at once. The boat captain was a young man who successfully fulfilled our request for a "little splashdown," and he was skilled! Another male staff member was also very pleasant.

It probably depends on the sea conditions, but I didn't mind the boat's rocking at all, and I enjoyed the view from the boat during the waiting time. This is an activity I would love to experience again.

ボートのキャプテンは若い男性でしたが 「少しだけ着水」を見事希望通り叶えてくれましたし、上手でしたよ！もう一人の男性スタッフも感じ良かったです。
海のコンディションによるんでしょうが、ボートの揺れも気にならず、待機時間も船上からの眺めを満喫できて楽しかったです。
また体験したいアクティビティです。

Since I applied on my home computer just before departure, I left without confirming the pickup location and time, which made me really anxious about whether I could participate. Just to be safe, after arriving in Hawaii, I called the local contact number and checked my page to confirm the location and other details. When I called the local contact, I couldn't understand much as they spoke in Japanese, but I soon received a call from someone who could speak Japanese, which made me feel relieved and able to participate. There were three groups of foreigners and two groups of Japanese, including my family, totaling 12 people on the boat. My son and I flew together. It was my first time parasailing! The weather was great, and the view was amazing! All the other participants were foreigners, and since I'm not good at English, I was really anxious at first. I was a bit scared before getting on, but once I started flying, it was very refreshing and felt great. The weather was nice, so both the sky and the sea were a brilliant blue, and the view of Waikiki from the ocean was spectacular. I'm glad I experienced it. The staff were also very kind. 天気が良かったので空も海も真っ青で

This was my second time whale watching, and although the number of whales was few, we were still able to see some. Above all, the staff member who generously applied sunscreen was very friendly, constantly asking if I wanted a beer or a refill, which made the experience enjoyable. My friend who came along was also pleased, so I think this is one of the classic tours in Honolulu. I highly recommend it.

The driver for the shuttle was very energetic and we had a great time getting to the location. The parasailing offered a fantastic view of Waikiki and we could see Diamond Head clearly, which was absolutely amazing! I was able to bring my GoPro, so I could capture videos and I'm really looking forward to watching them later.

I was concerned about managing my valuables and didn't bring any money, so I missed out on buying photos, which was a bit disappointing. However, it turned out that it was perfectly fine to bring valuables. Also, we had the option for a water landing, and although I got wet, there wasn't a place or time to change, so I went back to the hotel as I was.

I went parasailing for the first time in Hawaii! I couldn't imagine how high 150 meters would be, but it was a bit shaky, and the view was amazing!

The guide was really funny, so definitely try to chat with them!

When we went, there were about six groups, but the boat rocked quite a bit, and we had to stay on the boat until everyone was done, so I think it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication. Out of the 12 participants, three people felt unwell. Make sure you're in good health and have a great time making memories!

I could speak a little Japanese, and although one person was feeling a bit seasick, they were very kind in their response! Now, about the experience, the view from 150 meters was amazing! My husband and I got to experience it together as a pair. Before it was our turn, they handed us a Japanese instruction manual, so we could confirm details like photo opportunities and that if we requested "dry landing, please" before landing, we could return to the boat without getting wet. We asked to go up to our waists (laughs).

As for the facilities, there are no changing rooms or lockers. If you really want to change afterward, you might want to use the public restroom nearby. Also, since you move out to sea by boat, some water splashes will come in, so if you really don’t want to get your belongings wet, it’s better to put them in a plastic bag or something.

ドライバーのお兄さんも「いやあホントごめんごめん！！！」みたいな事を言っていて謝ってくれましたし、なんか憎めないキャラだったので、もしかすると時間通りに来る事自体が稀なのかなと自分を説得(笑)

さて内容についてですが、
150mの眺めは最高でした！
自分たち夫婦でペアで一緒に体験させてもらいました。
順番が回ってくる前に日本語の説明書を渡してくれたので、写真撮影の事、着地する前に「ドライランディング、プリーズ」と希望すれば海に浸かる事なく船まで戻れる事など、しっかり確認する事ができます。
私たちは腰までやってくださいと言いました(笑)

設備ですが、更衣室、ロッカーはありません。
終わったあとどうしても着替えたいのであれば近くにある公衆トイレを使うといいかもしれません。
ロッカーがないので、あまり大きい荷物を持って行く事はオススメしません。あと、船で沖まで移動するのでその際に多少の水しぶきが入ってきますから、どうしても濡らしたくない場合はビニール袋か何かに荷物を入れたほうがいいと思います。

帰りはファンキードライバーさんが近寄ってきてくれて、車まで案内してくれました。
腰ポチャした事を告げると「いいっていいって、ノープロブレム！」と言ってくれましたが、濡れたまま乗るのも気が引けたので持参したバスタオルを座席に敷いて座りました。泊まっているホテルを告げるとホテルまで送ってくれたのでとても助かりました。

I went parasailing for the first time. I was torn between skydiving and parasailing, but since parasailing was more affordable, I chose that this time. The hotel picked me up right on time, and the ride to the boat dock was comfortable.

We headed out to sea for the parasailing, and the wind felt nice during the boat ride, which I enjoyed! I usually don’t get seasick, but when the boat picked up speed, it rocked quite a bit. We had to stay on the boat until all four groups finished, and one family seemed to be struggling with seasickness. If you are prone to seasickness, I highly recommend taking motion sickness medication and bringing a plastic bag for vomiting.

For parasailing, after the staff fitted me with the equipment, I quickly ascended high into the sky. Since I love heights, I chose the higher option at 150 meters and was very satisfied. The staff adjusted the experience a bit, making the boat sway slightly and even dipping us into the sea on the way back, but they made sure my face stayed dry, which was fun.

ホテルには時間ぴったりに迎えに来て頂いて、船乗り場までの道中は快適でした。
パラセーリングをする為に沖に出るのですが、風が気持ちよく船での移動もわたしは良かったです！
わたしは船酔いしない方なのですが、スピードを出したりすると結構揺れが激しく、4組全員が終わるまで揺れる船に乗ってなければいけない為、1組の親子が船酔いをしていて結構きつそうでした。
船酔いする方でしたら、必ず酔い止めを服用し嘔吐用にビニール袋などの持参をお勧め致します。
パラセーリングは部品を装着しお兄さんに設置してもらうとすぐに空に高く上がっていきます。
わたしは高いところが好きな為、150メートルの高い方を選びとても満足しました。
お兄さんのさじ加減により少し揺れたり、戻る際にわざと海に浸からされたりしましたが、顔は濡れない程度にしてくれる為楽しめました。
ハワイの景色と海がとても綺麗で参加して大満足でした！
ツアーのお兄さん達もとてもよく、日本語の注意事項の紙もあり安心して参加できました。
また機会があれば参加したいと思います。

My 10-year-old daughter and I tried 150m of parasailing together. It was as high as a flying helicopter! There was hardly any swaying from the wind, and it felt more stable than being on a boat. My daughter is fine with heights, so she was able to let go with one hand and move her feet comfortably. The view was, of course, amazing! You can see Waikiki, Diamond Head, and all the way to Waianae clearly.

There were four groups on the boat from various countries, and it had a friendly atmosphere where we took pictures of each other while flying. The crew also spoke Japanese and provided explanations, which was reassuring.

By the way, if you go on the 8 AM trip, you'll be back on land by a little after 9 AM, making good use of your day! ^_^

We participated with our kids! The staff was friendly, and it was a very enjoyable hour. We joined as a family of four at 8 AM (the kids are in fourth and second grade), and we made good use of the morning! We set off in our swimsuits, and if it's cold, it's fine to wear a hoodie or something over them. Photos are available for $30, but you might also ask other guests on the boat to take pictures with your smartphone.

We met at the location by rental car, and since the boarding area is closest to Waikiki, I think it's best to park all the way at the back if you need to use the parking lot.
