ドレスコードもあるので仕方がないかなとは思いましたが，同じバスに乗っていた西洋人の男性の方は，短パンにビーチサンダルだったにもかかわらず，特に注意を受けることもなく参加できていたので，どうしてだろう・・・と少しかわいそうにも思いました。

女性の方はサンダルを履いている方も大勢いたので，女性はサンダルでも大丈夫なのかもしれません。男性の方は，靴と長ズボンで参加した方が安心かもしれません。

We participated in the Pacific Star (all-you-can-eat buffet) with our family of four. I'm not sure if it was just our floor, but there were quite a few empty seats, allowing us to relax comfortably. The seats we were shown (on the docking side) were great, so on the way out, we enjoyed views of Waikiki, at the turnaround point we had a direct view of Diamond Head, and on the return, we cruised while watching the sunset. During the cruise, various shows were held, and some of them involved guests dancing along, making the time fly by. After docking, we continued to sing and dance to "YMCA," creating a lively atmosphere, and the kids disembarked still buzzing with excitement. I felt there were quite a few salads in the meal. I was disappointed when the thickly sliced roast beef ran out midway, but they quickly brought out more. I think it was a buffet that was neither particularly good nor bad. However, there are no additional desserts, so if you like cake or fruit, make sure to get them early! As for transportation, it was the right choice to take a taxi since there were four of us. There was no waiting time for the taxi on the way back. We used the pink line of the Waikiki Trolley between the hotel and Ala Moana Shopping Center both ways, and took a taxi from Ala Moana Shopping Center to the boarding area. The fare was about $12.1 (not including tip). If you arrive about 30 minutes early for the boarding time, you can also walk to see the King Kamehameha statue. If you're a fan of Hawaii-5O, definitely check it out!

I enjoyed dining while cruising off the coast of Waikiki.

The food was just okay. We could choose between meat and fish, and both of us chose fish, but it turned out to be lobster + meat or fish + meat. In that case, it should have been a choice between lobster or fish, right? (Maybe I didn't read the explanation carefully enough.)

I think the boat was almost full, possibly because it was during the Obon season. I participated with my preschool-aged child, and the staff were both polite and cheerful. The show was engaging, with everyone clapping, singing, and dancing together, creating a lively atmosphere on the boat. The food was also delicious, with plenty of it.

I tend to get seasick easily, but the weather was favorable that day, and there was hardly any rocking, allowing me to fully enjoy the stunning views of Hawaii. I truly believe it was a tour worth participating in.

It's been 16 years since I last went on the Star of Honolulu. This time, I participated with Pacific Star. However, I think it would have been better if I had splurged a bit and booked one or two ranks higher. It seemed like there was a lively show happening in the venue next to Pacific Star. While it's our responsibility for choosing Pacific Star, both the food and the show were worth the price. Still, if you're looking to enjoy the atmosphere, I think Pacific Star is more than sufficient.

I had been taken care of here before, and when I searched my experience records, I found that it was in 2013.
It was my first time on board in five years, and I was able to enjoy dinner time as expected. I was on a three-star cruise.
The meal had a buffet for the appetizers, while the rest were served by the waitstaff. Thanks to the waitstaff's reaction to my sister's nails, which she had chosen for Hawaii, the atmosphere during the meal was very pleasant.
Unfortunately, I had to consider my brother-in-law, who was worried about seasickness, so my brother returned home first, allowing me to participate this time.
In my memory, the ship was large and hardly swayed, but I realized that it was indeed rocking with the waves. I was relieved that I didn't force my brother to board by telling him a lie.
I felt that it was swaying more than I expected, and I felt a bit unwell, possibly due to the alcohol.
However, I gained energy from the staff's dance and was able to enjoy myself thoroughly.
By the time I realized it, the ship was entering the port, and it was time to say goodbye.
The weather can greatly affect the experience, but I felt it was worth it to go on this cruise.

I participated in this cruise at my mother's request, and I think it was worth adjusting the schedule and cutting out optional activities I wanted to do in order to join.

前にもお世話になったことがあって、いつの事だったかと体験記録を探してみたら2013年でした。
５年ぶりの乗船ですが、期待通りのディナータイムを楽しむことができました。３スターでの乗船です。
食事は、前菜のみブュッフェ式で、他はウェイトレスさんが持ってきてくれます。そのウェイトレスさん方が姉がハワイの為に決めてきたネイルに反応してくれたお陰で、和やかな空気での食事となりました。
残念ながら、船酔いを気にする義理の兄に気を使い、兄が先に帰国したため、今回参加することができました。
自分の記憶では船が大きく殆ど揺れていないイメージでしたが、実際にはうねりを拾って揺れているのが分かりました。
兄に嘘を言って無理やり乗船させなくて良かったと思いました。
自分でも、意外に揺れているな？と思う位の揺れでして、お酒の影響なのか少しだけ気分がすぐれませんでした。
しかし、スタッフさんのダンスに元気をもらい、しっかり楽しむことができました。
気がついた時には、船が港に入っていて、お別れの時間となっている位でした。
天候にかなり左右されますが、乗って良かったと思いました。

母の希望で参加したこのクルーズ、日程調整をして、行きたかったオプショナルを削ってでも参加して良かったと思っています。

First, the pickup location for the shuttle bus was at another hotel about a 10-minute walk from our hotel. Since we had small children (1.5 years and 3 years old), it took us about 15 minutes. We boarded the bus and headed to the next pickup location, which turned out to be a hotel very close to our accommodation... I thought it would have been better if they had just picked the nearest hotel! Especially with small children. I should have checked in advance...

The dinner cruise was a lot of fun, with the dancers putting in a lot of effort to entertain us. The kids also enjoyed dancing the hula with us. The food was great; the roast chicken was something the kids devoured!

On the way back, I asked the staff to drop us off at the nearest hotel!

帰りはスタッフさんにお願いして最寄りのホテルで降ろしてもらいました！

This time, my parents booked this tour for their first trip to Hawaii. Personally, this is my second time. When I participated previously, the food was delicious and the sunset was very beautiful, so I thought it was a great tour to experience Hawaii.

しいて言うなら、最初のドリンクの注文になかなか来ていただけず、待ちぼうけでした。近くを通った人にお願いしようとしたところ、テーブル毎に担当が決まっているとのことで、聞いていただけませんでした。一人当たりの担当しているテーブルの数も多そうなので、もう少し融通が利くといいです。
お天気が悪く、サンセットがきれいに見れなかったのはとても残念でした。
