I participated with high expectations for the Star of Honolulu, but overall, it was quite disappointing.

First, regarding the five-star cuisine, aside from the main lobster and meat, the rest was not very tasty. Additionally, the timing of the food service varied greatly depending on the table, and the order of the dishes was inconsistent.

The ship itself was very old, and the restrooms were not clean. Inside the ship, the air conditioning was too strong, making it extremely cold. I asked the staff to turn it off once, but before long, it was back on again. Not just me, but everyone around was saying it was cold. While there wasn't much rocking during the cruise, when we stopped offshore for about three hours, the waves caused significant swaying, and many Japanese guests felt nauseous. One person ended up vomiting towards the sea from the third deck after being in the restroom for a long time (there were few restrooms, so others couldn't use them during that time). The staff's response also did not seem very good.

The only positive was that I boarded on a Friday, so I was able to see the Hilton fireworks from the sea. It was only for five minutes, but it was very beautiful.

Considering everything, I don't think I will use this service again.

唯一よかったのは、乗船を金曜日にしたのでヒルトンの花火を海上から見れたことです。5分間だけですが、とてもキレイでした。
総合的に考えても、もう利用しないと思います。

I arrived in Hawaii on Friday and participated in a dinner cruise where we could enjoy fireworks from the sea. The onboard show and other aspects were great. It was an all-you-can-eat crab, so they kept bringing more as we ordered. In the end, even when we didn't order, they kept saying "Eat, eat" and brought more. I was full of crab. It tasted better than the crab at Shinagawa Hapuna. I went out in my casual clothes that I wore when departing from Japan, but there was no sense of discomfort. I will participate again next time.

This trip was a unique adventure with my eight friends who always gather together. I was quite worried about whether this elegant sunset dinner cruise would be suitable, but there was absolutely no need for concern. Everyone enjoyed it immensely, and it became the highlight of our trip to Hawaii.

We opted for the Three Star and Waikiki Night View Tour. The experience began as soon as we got off the pickup bus and continued without interruption until we disembarked. I went on a 5 Stars Cruise. I took a photo with the captain and took my seat. Initially, I was at a table near the center of the floor, but since a window-side table was available, the staff kindly moved me to the window side.
The meal was a French cuisine course and it was very delicious. It wasn't the typical American heavy flavor, but rather a delicate taste that I think suits the Japanese palate very well.
The drinks were also very tasty and stylish.
There was a dress code, and I wore an aloha shirt and muumuu that I bought locally, but everyone was dressed beautifully. There were more Westerners than Asians.
Dressing as one would for a wedding in Japan would definitely be appropriate.
I was very unsure whether to tip or not (since I had already paid with a credit card in advance, there was no payment on the day...). However, since they treated me very well, I gave a $40 tip, but I'm not sure how that was received.
If there had been information about tipping when I made the reservation, I think I could have enjoyed the cruise even more (whether it's necessary or not, how much to tip, when to tip, etc.).

We boarded the ship on the night before the last day of our trip with my wife. We booked a window seat along with the Tantalus package. Compared to the Navatek, this tour felt more subdued with only a little dancing. It seemed like there were many guests in their 20s to 30s and 60s to 70s. Despite the unfortunate weather, the sunset was beautiful. The lobster and steak were quite enjoyable for a ship, and we were pretty satisfied overall. Since I had planned the Tantalus as a surprise, my wife was absolutely thrilled.

We boarded in the evening on the day we arrived in Hawaii. The relaxing cruise helped ease our travel fatigue. The food was decent, but the cruise staff was amazing!! There was a cheerful man with a ukulele, and the handsome men and beautiful women Hawaiian dancers really worked hard to entertain us. The venue was lively and fun, even as it approached disembarkation time.

As part of our honeymoon trip to Hawaii, we participated in this tour. There were many people from Japan and other countries as well. I visited Honolulu during the Obon period in August, and it was comfortable, not hotter than Japan (maybe because there was no humidity). I made a reservation relatively close to the date, but I was able to book under my desired conditions. Since I participated on the day of arrival, I think it was a tour that allowed me to feel Hawaii first. It was a three-star window seat guaranteed plan, and having a meal at a private table for three was nice. The photo was included in the price, and I think it was good to have a three-star experience that wasn't as high-end as a five-star. Other guests were ordering photos on the spot by paying extra. I was satisfied.

The food was honestly disappointing. I was hungry, but I couldn't eat much. I spent the time just looking at the ocean until sunset. If you think of it as a cruise, it's a lovely time.

The hula started at sunset and ended with a big celebration. Please join thinking of it as a cruise to enjoy the ocean view and the hula. Don't expect much from the food; the salad and dessert were disappointing as well.

The guide on the table mentioned that we could freely explore the ship, and when I asked the staff if I could go to the top to see the ocean, they said it was okay, but the stairs were chained off, and I couldn't go up. That's really disappointing. Even the view left me wanting more. It's certainly not cheap, so it's just one word: disappointing. However, the ocean and hula were nice, so I give it 3 stars.

The only thing that was good to eat was the welcome drink. It was delicious and cute, which lifted my spirits.

The ship rocked quite a bit, so if you get seasick, taking motion sickness medication is a must. I took some, but I still felt nauseous.

Also, there aren't many options for getting to Aloha Tower, so it might be better to go with a shuttle service. We took a taxi, which cost about $20 one way.
