I participated in the Sunset Dinner Cruise 1 Star (Crab) course for the first time. The steak was delicious, and the crab was warm and sweet, so I had seconds.

The sunset was a bit hidden behind the clouds, but it was beautiful.

I adjusted my stay in Honolulu to Friday since that’s when the fireworks at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort can be seen. Although it was a short time, watching the fireworks from the deck while looking at the night view across the water was wonderful.

Upon boarding, we were welcomed with a dance, and there were shows during the meal, culminating in a dance with the passengers, which really energized the atmosphere. The staff's performance was outstanding.

Positive Points:
I was able to watch the sunset during the cruise.

Negative Points:
1. As mentioned in the reviews, the food was not very good. The roast beef was tough. The main dish, rice, had pineapple in it, which made it sweet and I think it would be divisive in taste. I personally didn't like it. The cake was quite sweet as well. I would have preferred dishes that appeal to a wider audience. The bread was the most delicious part.

2. I was forced to dance at the end. It would have been better if we could just stay seated, but being made to stand up and form a circle was excessive. I went to the deck instead of participating, but I wish they would stop creating an atmosphere that makes it uncomfortable not to join in.

If I had paid the same amount in Japan, I think I would have received better food and hospitality. I can't recommend this and I won't participate again, but the cruise in Hawaii was a valuable experience.

②最後ダンスを強要させられた事。座ったままだったらまだマシでしたが、立ち上がって輪になるのはやり過ぎです。私は参加せずにデッキへ行きましたが、参加しないとその場に居ずらい空気を作るのはやめて欲しいです。

日本で同じ位の値段を払えば、もっと良い食事と、もてなしだったのかなあと。オススメ出来ないし、もう参加しませんが、ハワイでのクルーズは貴重な経験でした。

I had heard from acquaintances that the food wasn't good, so I went without any expectations, but perhaps because the reviews were quite bad, it was better than I thought.
The staff were friendly, and the performance was impressive and enjoyable!
The Tantalus Lookout was also more beautiful than I expected, and the guide who provided transportation was friendly, making for a fun time.

We participated in a sunset cruise with both families after the wedding. We reserved seats with a view of the ocean, but at the beginning of the course, the sunlight was too bright for everyone to keep their eyes open. Just when we thought the sun was setting, everyone went out on deck, and it was disappointing that we couldn't see anything from our window seats that we had paid extra for. It might have been better not to have reserved window seats at all. In the end, since we couldn't see anything, everyone got up and went out to the deck.

We chose lobster and steak for our meal. The taste was average. The lobster was tough and hard to chew, yet somehow watery, making our hands sticky, so everyone got up to wash their hands. I thought it might have been better to just have the steak. The good part was that we got to see the music and dance shows, and the night view was beautiful. It’s definitely worth going, but personally, if it had just been "steak only" and "not reserving window seats," I think I would have given it five stars.

海の見える席を予約したのですが、コースの序盤は外の日差しが眩しすぎてみんな目があけられず、ようやく日が傾いてサンセットになったとおもったら、みんなが甲板に出て、せっかく窓際の席をお金を払い取ってましたが、全然見えなくて残念でした。
これならわざわざ窓際席でなくても良かったかもしれません。
結局見えないのでみんな席を立って、甲板まで出ました。

料理はロブスターとステーキにしました。
お味は普通です。ロブスターは固くてかみきれないのに、なぜか水っぽくて手がべたべたになり、みんな席を立って手を洗いに行きました。
ロブスターではなく、ステーキだけにすれば良かったかな〜と思いました。
良かったことは、音楽やダンスなどのショーが見れた事と、夜景や綺麗だったことです。
行ってみる価値は十分ありますが、個人的には「ステーキだけ」「窓際席を予約しない」だったら★５つ付けていたと思います。

I participated in the Sunset Dinner Cruise for the first time. The steak was great, and I ate a lot of crab. It also included a commemorative photo, which made for a wonderful memory. On Fridays, the schedule is arranged so that you can see the fireworks from Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort over the ocean, so I intentionally joined on a Friday. That was great too. I made an early reservation for Friday night to see the fireworks. I opted for a window seat plus sparkling wine, photos, and a cake set. Everything, including the seating and food, was great. If I had to mention one thing, I would say that receiving the cake as a whole isn't necessary since it usually ends up being thrown away without being eaten. I would love to come back again.

Before boarding, we were welcomed with a hula dance, and while I was busy taking photos, it seemed that the seating was first-come, first-served, making it difficult to see the hula dance show during the cruise. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't board earlier. The show itself was very good. I experienced the same course quite a while ago, and I felt there was more space back then. This time it was fully booked. It was noisy outside, and I wondered what was happening, only to find out that we spotted a whale. It was evening, but we could see the spout and the body during its jump. It was better than the whale watching trip I took the previous day, which I boarded early in the morning. I realized I needed to ask for a second helping of crab earlier. I got too distracted by other things and missed the timing. The sunset and the beautiful night view of Waikiki were absolutely amazing.

乗船前にフラダンスで出迎えてくれたので、つい写真撮ってたら、早い者勝ちの席だったらしく乗船中のフラダンスのショーを見るのには、見にくい席でした。早く乗船してたらとちょっとがっかりでした。ショー自体は、とても良かったです。ずいぶん前にも同じコースを体験したのですが、もっとゆとりがあったように思いました。今回満席状態でした。外が騒がしいので何事かと思ったら、クジラが見えたようです。夕方だったのですが、潮吹きとジャンプの胴体部分が見えました。前日わざわざ朝からホエールウオッチングに乗船したよりましでした。早めにカニのお代わりは言わないとだめだなと思いました。他のことに気を取られすぎてタイミング逃しました。夕日やワイキキのとってもきれいな夜景最高でした。

We had a lot of fun on this cruise. Entertainment was excellent. The service was excellent. We went on the fireworks cruise which was very nice. The crab legs were very good. The food was good, but could have been warmer. It may be hard on such a big boat. The only other thing that could have done better is we took the transportation from hotel to the boat and when we got there and started walking the girl leading us never talked to us just talked to another person and we just tried to keep up her so we knew where to go. When we got to boat we followed her on and went on wrong way and were corrected and told to go on another way. We were just following her on. She never turned around and said go on this way or have a good time. It was a little odd. Other than that it was a good time.

Tasty All You Can Eat Crab!

I love dinner cruises and have been on quite a few over the years, so I knew I had to go during this visit to Hawaii. We chose the One Star since we love crab and love AYCE crab even more!

Our waiter was very attentive and made sure to keep our plates full of crab, our glasses filled with drinks and would let us know when the sunset would be.

The show was fun, and the musicians are top notch! Although the weather did not cooperate, I will definitely go back again!

I attended the Three Star Lobster and Steak Dinner Cruise and I must say I was amazed at the customer service provided. Being on board with 1,000 passengers, the waiters and staffs did an amazing job with serving each guest on time. Our waitress was a doll, I believe Larissa is her name. The view of the sunset, and Diamond Head was breath taking. This tour is a must if you want to experience Paradise away from the city.

十分楽しかった。元々食事を期待しての参加では無く、ロブスターやヒレ肉は当然無しのバフェでしたが十分食事を楽しめた。５人家族、子供達も全員成人の構成です。
スタッフは一生懸命楽しませてくれたし、男性歌手はまずまずのエンタテイナーです。
たまたまですが、雲の全くない日で海に落ちる夕日は最高。狙ったとおり金曜の晩のヒルトンの花火も盛り上がりました。
毎年訪れるハワイでの１０年ぶりのサンセットディナークルーズでしたが、なかなかバカにしたものではありません。おすすめします。

I made a reservation for my best friend's couple.
The sunset dinner cruise has other courses, but I recommend the Five Star.
It starts with a welcome champagne and includes three cocktails.
You can enjoy dinner while listening to live jazz music, and since it's on the upper floor, you can leisurely watch the fireworks held on Fridays from the deck, unlike the other courses.
For those who are unsure about which course to choose, I recommend the Five Star.
You will definitely create satisfying memories.

If you're going to Hawaii for the first time, you should definitely take a cruise! I was very satisfied as I got to see the sunset and Polynesian dances. For clothing, regular clothes are fine, but I recommend wearing a muumuu or an aloha shirt if you want to take lots of photos. I chose the buffet course. However, to be honest, it wasn't very tasty. I couldn't enjoy it and ended up leaving most of it. I regret not spending a little extra money on a course meal instead...

The Polynesian dancers were beautiful and very lively, which made it a lot of fun, so I was really satisfied! I'm glad I participated.

I felt a bit nauseous until I got used to the rocking of the boat, so I recommend bringing motion sickness medication from Japan.
