This was my first time on the Star of Honolulu. Since I was with my 1-year and 4-month-old child, I made a reservation for the buffet course. I was worried that my child might get bored and make noise, but the entire crew was really kind, and I didn't have any issues at all. The food was decent, and the hula dance show was enjoyable. My child danced along, enjoyed the scenery, and chatted with the crew, making it a fulfilling sunset cruise.

I think the buffet course is recommended for those who want to enjoy themselves without pretense! For those who prefer a quieter dinner, perhaps a higher-tier course would be better. I wore a muumuu to enjoy the atmosphere, but it seemed like you could participate even without one.

By the way, I drove to Aloha Tower and parked in a lot, which only cost about $6, making it feel convenient. If you're renting a car, I think meeting at the location is a good deal.

I was unsure how it would go with a child, but I think it was even more fun because I had my child with me. I encourage anyone who thinks a dinner cruise is impossible with kids to definitely participate.

I would love to join again the next time I go to Hawaii.

子供が飽きて騒がないかと心配だったのですが、船のクルー皆が本当に親切で、困ることは何もなかったです。
料理もまあまあ良かったですし、フラダンスのショーも楽しかったです。
子供も一緒に踊ったり、景色をみたり、クルーの方とおしゃべりしたりと充実したサンセットクルーズになりました。
気取らず楽しみたい方にはバイキングのコースが、お薦めかと思います！
静かにディナーをされたい方は、ワンランク、ツーランク上のコースが良いのかな？と思います。服装は雰囲気を楽しみたかったので、ムームーを着ましたが、ムームーじゃなくても参加できるようでした。


ちなみにアロハタワーまでレンタカーで行き、駐車場に車を止めましたが、駐車場代は6ドルくらいで安く、便利に感じました。
レンタカーを借りられている方なら、現地集合がお得だと思います

子連れでどうなるかと思っていたのですが、子連れだったからこそ、更に楽しかったかな？とも思うので、子連れだからディナークルーズなんて無理！と思っている方にも是非参加してもらいたいです。

またハワイに行った際には参加したいと思います

Last year, I went for an all-you-can-eat crab. This year, it was a buffet style with roast beef! They cut it right in front of me, and it was delicious. The cruise was around Waikiki and Diamond Head!! I was even able to see a rainbow. And the main event, the sunset, was beautiful!! Now, the real fun begins. There was a hula dance show and a participatory dance time!! I danced so much that I was drenched in sweat, and before I knew it, we were back at the harbor. I want to go again next year!!!

As always during my stay in Hawaii, the air conditioning was cold, so I definitely think it's a good idea to bring a jacket.

Live house on a ship 船上のライブハウス

It's not a formal cruise; it feels more like a live house on the ship! The service is friendly and kind, but the servers don't understand Japanese, so you'll need to speak at least a little English. The menu is available in Japanese. There are live performances and dancing, so there's never a dull moment. The time at the end when everyone dances together has the charm of a Bon Odori in Hawaii, and it's a lot of fun. Don't just watch; definitely join in!

As mentioned in other reviews, they forgot my ordered drink, and even after prompting, it was not brought to me. To top it off, they dropped a plate and got my clothes dirty, showing little remorse... (Another staff member came to apologize, though.) It seems that the quality of service from the waiters varies quite a bit. The final dance time was lively and created a fun atmosphere, but since the service was poor, I don't think I would want to ride again. It's disappointing.

I made a reservation for six family members. We booked a limousine for transportation. It was a wonderful limousine that exceeded our expectations. In particular, the return limousine was the longest and most luxurious one I had ever seen. Everyone was excited.

It became a wonderful memory with warm hospitality that will stay in our hearts. The food was a French full course, and it was very delicious. The main lobster and beef were both very tender, and I was extremely satisfied.

We used it as a couple! The sunset view from the boat was very beautiful (*^.^*). It was quite crowded, so there were some cramped spots, but it was great that we were smoothly guided to our reserved window seat.

The weather was nice, and upon arriving at the port where the ship was docked, we were greeted by a large ship and dancers before boarding. While watching the beautiful girls and handsome boys dance, we boarded the ship. There were no assigned seats, so it seems that you are guided to your seats in the order you arrive, so if you prefer a window seat, it might be best to arrive a little early.

Since I can't eat much, I reserved the one-star crab and steak course, but when the meal arrived, I thought this amount was more than enough. The crab can be refilled, so even men will definitely be satisfied. However, the seasoning for the crab was quite salty, so it was sufficient to eat it without any additional condiments. After having a meal, we explored the ship... We went up to the rooftop deck and enjoyed the view of Waikiki from the sea. Perhaps because it was after a rain shower, there was a rainbow over Diamond Head, which was very moving. After thoroughly enjoying the Waikiki side, we moved to the opposite side to watch the sunset. It was wonderful to see the sun setting over the sea.

On the dining floor, there was live music and Polynesian dance, and at the end, many guests joined in the dancing, creating a happy atmosphere with everyone smiling. I definitely want to board this ship again.

美人な女の子とイケメン男子のダンスを見ながら、乗船。席は決まっておらず、着た順に案内されるみたいなので窓側の席がよければ少し早めに到着するのがベストかも。
食事は私は沢山食べれないので、1スターのカニとステーキのコースを予約しましたが、食事
がきてみて、この量でも十分だった、と思いました。　カニはお代わりできるので男性でも大満足なこと間違いなしです。ただ、味付けはカニに関しては塩がとても効いていたので何もつけずに食べるので十分でした。食事とある程度とったあとは船内の探索。。。　屋上のデッキにあがって、海からワイキキを眺めました。スコールのあとだったからか虹がダイヤモンドヘッドにかかっていてとても感動的でした。ワイキキ側を十分楽しんだあとは、逆側に移って、サンセットの眺めました。夕日が沈むところを海からみることができてとてもよかったです。食事を摂るフロアでは生演奏とポリネシアンダンスもあり、最後はお客さんが一緒になって踊りを楽しんでいる方も沢山いて、みんな笑顔でとてもハッピーな気持ちになりました。
また、是非、この船に乗船したいと思います。

I heard my friend say, "I'm glad I participated in the 3-star!" and I was torn between the 1-star and the 3-star, but I chose the 3-star. The lobster and steak were even more delicious than I expected, and the dessert cake was light and refreshing.
