Our cruise had a late start due to an unforseen fire. When we got going however, I quickly forgot that we went out later than planned. The crew was friendly and accommodating. The food was great and we had a wonderful time. I have pictures from that night I will treasure.

The ship has different rooms based on the meal courses. After being shown to my seat, I was a bit unsure about when to go get the buffet food, but since I had read reviews on this site, I decided to wait until someone called me and then go get the food in order. The food was just okay. When boarding, the crew welcomes you with a dance, and during the meal, there is live guitar music and you can enjoy Polynesian dance as well. In the end, the guests also participate in the dancing, which made it a lot of fun!

The highlight of the tour is the fireworks on Friday night. Everyone can enjoy them from the deck with an unobstructed view. Thanks to Captain Josh, Crew Corinne, and Lisa, we had a great time. For some reason, we were encouraged to drink plenty of alcohol (what was the two-drink limit about?).

By the way, the tour is in English. I think it's fine even for those who are not good at English as long as you follow the people around you.

Staying at Hilton Village made it convenient. It's a 54-passenger catamaran yacht. To be honest, it does sway. Depending on the weather, it could get quite rough. I think this is a matter of personal preference. My companions were upset, but we were fortunate with the weather. Also, everyone had to board barefoot, leaving shoes in a box at the pier.

There is no cooler, but since we were on the water, it wasn't hot and was actually quite pleasant. It became a great memory.

肝心のツアークライマックスは金曜日晩の花火です。これはデッキで全員文句なしに特等席で見られます。

クーラーもありませんが海上なので暑くなくむしろ気持ち良かったです。
良い思い出になりました。

I used this for my wedding and the final ceremony. I requested a shuttle from Hyatt, but there were quite a few people, and we had to wait in a long line. That just shows how popular it is. By the way, about 90% of the guests were Japanese.

Since it was a special occasion, we chose the best five-star course, and the food was incredibly delicious and top-notch. The cocktails were also thoughtfully prepared to meet our requests, providing excellent service.

Additionally, the weather was fantastic, and while it was expected to see the sunset, we were lucky enough to also see a beautiful rainbow. It became a memorable and wonderful experience for our last dinner in Hawaii. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to visit this place.

We participated in this tour for our honeymoon. We chose a plan that guaranteed a window seat and included a photo service. However, the food was very disappointing.

When boarding the bus, we received a sticker with our seat number. All the guidance will proceed based on this sticker, so be sure not to lose it. During the ride on the large bus, both English and Japanese cruise announcements are made, so make sure to check them to avoid any confusion later. Upon arriving at the dock, everyone is guided onto the ship at once. It seems that the deck assignments vary depending on the tour content.

At the reception, seats are assigned, and since we had a guaranteed window seat, a nameplate was set up for us, and a cake was prepared. This was the extent of the proper preparation.

A welcome drink is provided, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I ordered the alcoholic drink, and my wife ordered the non-alcoholic one. My drink was quickly served as it was already on the tray, but my wife's took over five minutes to arrive as they said they would prepare it. Meanwhile, the ship had already started moving, and the band performance had begun. I wanted to start our meal pleasantly, but it was clear there was a lack of preparation. Moreover, both drinks were the same, and it shouldn't have taken long to prepare.

その間何も食べるものがありませんし、マネージャーらしき人が2度ほど詫びにきましたが、一体何の為の食べ放題かと思ってしまいます。私たちの隣のテーブルも、同じく提供が遅れており大変怒っていらっしゃいました。
料理の提供がされない人がいる一方で、おかわり用の蟹は他のお客さんに提供しており、どんな体制で提供しているのか不思議でなりませんでした。

おかげで、その後に始まったバンドやダンスのような参加型の余興は全く楽しめませんでした。皆は食べ終わっているのに、私たちはその時間に食事をしなければならなかったからです。

妻も蟹が食べ放題だと行く前は喜んでいましたが、蓋を開けてみると全然食事も出来なく、サービスも楽しめない本当に残念なツアーとなってしまいました。味も特別美味しいわけではありません。

支払う価格とサービスが釣り合ってないです。
料理もサービスも本当にがっかりでした。
あまり期待せず、参加されることをオススメします。

We participated as a family.
The live singing and dance show (with various costumes and changing music styles) was exciting.
The amount of food was just right and delicious.
The staff were friendly and engaged in conversation, which was enjoyable.
Since it was a large ship, I, who am prone to seasickness, was fine.

I boarded for the first time two years ago. This is my second time. It's not just a matter of having done it once; the view of Waikiki from the sea, the bright red sun setting beyond the ocean, the Hawaiian music and dance on board, and the delicious food all make for a fulfilling Hawaiian experience. I attended with my boyfriend. The buffet was quite delicious. Since you go to get food in order, there is a bit of a wait. There were groups of passengers who were drinking heavily, so I would like to see a ban on such behavior. The staff were nice, but there was no time to take photos before boarding or after disembarking. I think it would have been better to have a later time since it was early June and still bright out. Lastly, we had fun dancing to "Young Man" together, so if you enjoy a romantic atmosphere, I think the top course would be great.

I went on a cruise with my mother. We enjoyed the shows and meals, but before we set sail, one of the staff carrying about five drinks, including red wine, lost their balance and spilled it all over my clothes. My white dress (muumuu) that I bought for the trip got stained red, but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it before we departed, so I just checked if I could borrow something to change into. They kindly lent me some clothes to wear while my dress was drying and covered a bit of the cleaning cost. After that, they were considerate and engaged with us, which made the experience enjoyable.

Also, it was a Sunday, and there were supposed to be fireworks (weather permitting), but the wind was strong, and the situation was uncertain. In the end, the fireworks we were looking forward to didn't happen... It seemed like they extended the show a bit instead, but I was a little disappointed since I had high expectations. I think it would have been nice if they had announced that they would do a show instead if the fireworks were canceled (especially since the ticket price was higher due to the fireworks...).

Overall, I am satisfied, but since there were various issues, I apologize for lowering my rating. The cruise itself was enjoyable, and I didn't get seasick (though I did see a few people feeling unwell).

また、その日は日曜日で花火が上がる(天気が問題なければ)日でしたが、風が強く、どうなるか分からない状況でした。結局期待していた花火は上がりませんでした…その分ショーを長めにして頂いたようでしたが、ちょっと期待しただけに残念だったのと、ないのなら代わりにショーをしますとアナウンスしてもらえると良かったかなと思いました。(花火料金分高くなっていたのもありますし…)
一応満足はしていますが、色々あったので、評価下げてしまいすみません。
クルージング自体は船酔いもせず(ちょっと気分を悪くされている方はお見かけしましたが)楽しめました。

I participated with Pacific Star.

I wasn't confident about getting there on my own, so I requested a shuttle service. When I arrived a little earlier than the meeting time, there were already groups gathering. I was given a sticker and instructed to place it on my chest, which seemed to indicate the course I would be participating in.

While on the bus to the venue, an orientation video was playing, and it was easy to understand as it was in three languages, including Japanese. Upon arrival, there were staff members at various points leading to the boarding area, greeting us with smiles, which was very pleasant.

Now, regarding the seating, my seat on the Pacific Star was right in front of the kitchen on the lowest level (laughs). The windows were not well cleaned, and there was constant traffic of people coming in and out of the kitchen, making it difficult to enjoy the view or atmosphere. For the buffet, we had to stand in line outside the windows where the higher-ranked guests were seated, waiting our turn while being watched by those inside. Honestly, I regretted this part (laughs) — this is the meaning behind the title.

However, the food itself was delicious, and I was satisfied with being able to see the show up close and even experience hula dancing. Watching the sunset from the upper deck while feeling the sea breeze was absolutely wonderful!

After watching the sunset, when I returned to my seat, the show resumed. This was the main event. They showcased various ethnic dances from around Hawaii and Polynesia (though I can't be certain as it was all in English). The final part where everyone danced in a circle was a bit confusing, but it was also fun!

If I participate again, I would like to join at a higher rank than Pacific Star. ^_^

現地まで自分で行く自信がなくて送迎を依頼しました。集合時間より少し早めに行くと団体様が集まってました。シールを渡され胸に貼るように指示。参加するコースを判別するものの様です。

現地に着くまでバスの中ではオリエンテーションのビデオが流れていましたが、日本語を含む3ヶ国語で流れていてわかりやすかったです。
現地に着くと乗船口まで各所に係の方が立たれていて笑顔で挨拶してくれるのでとても感じかよかったです。

さて肝心の席ですが、パシフィックスターの席は最下層のキッチンの目の前（笑）窓も掃除が行き届いておらず、ひっきりなしにキッチンから人の出入りがあり、景色や雰囲気を楽しむということは難しいです。ブッフェも上のランクの方々が座ってる席の窓の外、廊下に列になって立ち、中の人たちに見られながら自分の番を待つという状態でここまでは正直後悔しかありませんでした（笑）これがタイトルの意味です。

ただ、食事自体は美味しく、またショーも間近で見られ、フラダンスの体験もできたりこの点は満足のいくものでしたし、サンセットの時には上の階に上がり海風を感じながら夕日が沈むのを見ることができたのは大大大満足でした！

夕日を見た後、座席に戻るとショーが再開されていました。というかここからが本番。ハワイ周辺やポリネシア(終始英語だったので定かではありませんが)など様々な地域の民族的ダンスをたくさん見せてくれます。最後みんなで輪になって踊らされるのはやや意味不明でしたが、それも楽しかったです！

次回もし自分が参加するとすれば、パシフィックスターより上のランクで参加したいですね^_^

My first participation was included in the tour. However, I had a bitter memory from that time, so I participated again for a revenge. The course content was incomparable to the last time (though it's not fair to compare it to the tour course). There was space between the seats, and the service was quite good. It seems that the course content varies by floor on the ship. From the food, live performances, singing, to dancing, the quality definitely improves with the grade. In June, I noticed many Japanese newlywed couples. I was able to enjoy a luxurious time.

1度目の参加は、ツアーに盛り込まれていました。
ただ、その時の苦い思い出があるので、リベンジで2回目の参加をしました。コース内容も前回の時とは比較にならない(ツアーコースと比較しても仕方ないのですが)内容でした。
席と席との間隔もあり、サービスもかなり良かったです。
船のフロア毎に、コース内容が違うような感じがします。
お料理、生演奏、生歌、ダンスから、やはりグレードが上がればそれなりに、、、。
6月の季節柄、日本人の新婚カップルを多く見受けました。

I used this cruise for my honeymoon. A friend who went to Hawaii recommended it, so I decided to join. Since I had already eaten a lot of delicious food on other days, I thought a buffet-only course would be fine, so I chose the cheapest option.

A bus picked us up from the hotel and took us to the port. Before boarding the ship, we were welcomed by dancers and live music. I thought we would be able to take a photo with the captain, but it turned out that those on the cheapest course were not allowed to do so. There was also no lei service, so I regretted not buying one.

The guest rooms for the cheapest course were noticeably different. Compared to the others, they felt a bit dim and lacked a sense of luxury. The next level up didn't seem to have that issue.

There was a man providing live music, two boys who were both dancers and waiters, and one hula girl. We could freely go out onto the deck, so we enjoyed the sunset. The food was quite tasty! I regretted not choosing the next level up for my honeymoon, but I could really feel the effort from the waiters and dancers, which made it a lot of fun. At one point, passengers joined in the dancing, and by the end, we were all dancing to YMCA and Gangnam Style, experiencing a joy that is hard to find in Japan.

Since it was the cheapest course, there were a lot of young people, and the atmosphere was really lively. However, I would recommend the second cheapest course or higher to those who are going in the future.

バスがホテルまで迎えに来てくれて港へ。船に乗り込む前にダンサーや生演奏でお出迎え。キャプテンと写真を撮らせてもらえると思ってましたが、一番安いコースの人は撮らせてもらえませんでした。。。。レイのサービスもなかったので、せっかくだから買っていけばよかったです。客室も一番安いコースのところだけあからさまに様子が違いました(^_^;)他と比べてなんだか薄暗いし高級感はありません。１つ上のコースはそんなことなさそうでした。
生演奏をしてくれるおじさんと、ダンサーとウェイターを兼任の男の子が2人、フラガールが１人いました。
デッキには自由に出れるので夕暮れを楽しみました。
料理は普通に美味しかったです！せっかくの新婚旅行だし１つ上のコースにすればよかったなぁと後悔しましたが、ウェイターさんもダンサーさんも一生懸命やってくれてる感じが伝わってすごく楽しくなってきました。途中からダンスに乗客も混ざり、最終的にはみんなでYMCAやカンナムスタイル、アメリカの若者の躍りを躍って日本ではなかなか味わえない楽しさを満喫できました。
いちばん安いコースなだけに若い人が多くて盛り上がりはすごかったです。
でもこれから行く人には2番目に安いコース以上をおすすめするかな～。
