We participated in this tour as a special celebration for my mother's 70th birthday. I used it for the first time in several years. The food was good without any issues, but the final dance... it gets everyone excited, but songs like YMCA are quite old. In fact, nothing has changed since five years ago. Also, when disembarking at the end, they didn't properly check if everyone was gathered by bus number, so I almost got left behind. Since I had used it multiple times before, I was able to catch up, but for first-timers, they might get lost and miss the bus. It might be because it's held every day, but I would appreciate more attention to detail in certain areas. (Overall, I think the spirit of service was abundant and good.)

My wife and I signed up together. We didn't specifically request a window seat, but we ended up with one.

There was a reserved sign on the seats that seemed to be guaranteed window seats. From that, I gather that among the many window seats available, the non-reserved ones are likely on a first-come, first-served basis. (However, I remember that all window seats for three or more people were reserved.)

From the bus terminal in front of the Sheraton Hotel in Waikiki, we took a shared bus to the port. We boarded while being welcomed by a dance from the dancers. We were shown to a six-person table in front of the stage and waited for departure while drinking champagne. We used this as a conclusion to our honeymoon trip. It turned out to be the best day of our entire travel period, with perfect timing. In particular, we had a window seat that allowed us to see the sunset perfectly, and it was truly beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious! Additionally, I was able to enjoy live performances, singing, and dancing. It was unfortunate that I couldn't see the sunset due to the rain. Also, my ordered drinks were forgotten, and I had to remind them several times before they finally arrived. Furthermore, the air conditioning was quite strong, making it very cold inside the ship for women in formal attire. However, the night view was incredibly beautiful!! Seeing Waikiki from the sea was refreshing.

My overall experience aboard the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise ship was fantastic! I went with my 7-year old son and he had a blast as well. His favorite part of the evening was going up and down the stairs from one deck to another exploring. And my favorite part was... the view of the Hawaiian sun disappearing behind the endless horizon. :)

We chose the all-you-can-eat crab dinner, and it was literally “all-you-can-eat!” The spirit-of-aloha-filled staff member was cruising along the dining area asking who else would like some more crab legs until the guests could not say a "yes" any more. The quality of food and entertainment were superb.

It was my first cruise dinner, so I did not know what to expect. A funny jokes-filled driver picked us up in a luxury motorcoach bus and upon arrival to Aloha Tower, an elegant staff representative escorted us to the ship. The tables were set beautifully with an orchid in the middle of the dinner plate.

I would definitely recommend this experience both to tourists and to those who live in Hawaii!

Overall experience was fantastic. Felt like a condensed cruise trip. Need to make sure you don't eat the trip away because they keep bringing food and before you know it you are back to the dock. Good entertainment staff.

The food was delicious, and the view transitioning from evening to night was amazing. Although we were in the front row, it was at the end, so it was disappointing that we couldn't see the performance and dance from the front.
