My husband and were first time visitors to Hawaii and this seemed like a nice thing to do. We got the 3 star package with the celebration plan and definitely had a great time. This was our last planned event during our stay and it was a wonderful way to spend our last night in Hawaii. We were quickly shown to our table and the dinner service went smoothly from there. We went up to the deck above several times to check out the view of Waikiki Beach all the way down to Diamond Head. Dinner was wonderful (although a little messy since we had the lobster) and the entertainment (a jazz duo with a saxophonist for a couple numbers) during dinner was lovely. We came back to our table at one point to find the photo they took right after we boarded sitting in a very nice cover on our table, free with the package we ordered. The show after dinner was quite entertaining, especially when they got everyone in the room up on their feet and dancing in one big mass of people, it was so much fun!

This is my fifth time in Hawaii, and I've experienced almost all the activities I wanted to spend money on. However, since the members accompanying me are different, I decided to take the recommended Star of Honolulu cruise again. Compared to a year and a half ago, even though there is a recession, for some reason, the prices in Honolulu have risen (maybe they are trying to keep the payment amount in Japanese yen the same considering the strong yen?). This cruise has also increased by $6.4, but I was picked up by a luxurious limousine bus that I had never ridden in on other tours (I recommend the round-trip service considering the return trip), and I boarded with the same excited feeling as last time. The lavish meal included a whole lobster and tenderloin, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but even more so, the cheerful young staff serving us really made me feel like I was in Hawaii. I encourage everyone to try talking to them, even if it's just a few words, as long as it’s not disruptive. We enjoyed the sunset, the meal, and the show, and it ended with a dance or clapping that got everyone involved, even the serious-looking dad next to us stood up. Hawaii truly gives energy to Japanese people!

　今回でハワイも５回目、お金を掛けて参加したいアクティビティはほぼ経験済みの状態ですが、同行するメンバーが異なっているので今回もお薦めのスターオブホノルルに乗船しました。1年半前に比較して、不況だというのにどういう訳かホノルルの物価は上昇していて（円高分を見込んで日本円支払い額を同一にしようとしているのかな？）このクルーズも＄６．４値上がりしていましたが、他のツアーでは乗ったこともない豪華なリムジンバスにピックアップされて（帰りの足を考えると送迎付きがお薦め）、前回同様にうきうき気分で乗船しました。大きなロブスター丸ごととテンダーロインの豪華な料理には当然堪能しまたが、それにもまして給仕（言い方が古いな）してくれる若い人達の陽気なこと、これぞハワイと言った気分にさせてくれます。是非皆さんも片言ので良いから邪魔にならない程度に話しかけてみては如何でしょうか？夕陽も食事もショーにも堪能して最後には、隣の真面目そうなパパも思わず立ち上がった全員参加型のダンスというか手拍子で幕を閉じました。ハワイは日本人に元気をくれますな~。

I would recommend this to everyone i know. It was all worth it. My partner and i enjoyed evey minute of it! The food was the bomb! We had 3 star which is a 5-course meal. i even took pictures of the food! Our server Rita was so nice, i always see her smiling and she was very attentive to us! It was so fun!

I will surely go back and this time i'm gonna bring my mom!

I participated in the 3-star cruise with a friend.

The staff were all friendly, and the food was even better than I expected!

Last time I was on the star cruise, so I was curious about how different it would be. However, the 3-star cruise had a pleasant open-air atmosphere, and the lobster was delicious, so I definitely recommend the 3-star.

I used the service in May. The weather was favorable, and I was able to see a beautiful sunset. This was a very nice dinner cruise. It wasn't too long and it delivered on a great sunset.

The food was delicious too. We did the 1 Star package which came with crab legs, steak and mashed potatoes. Everything was better than I had expected it to be. It came with a complimentary Mai Tai which was also very good.

The Hawaiian music was good and the dancers were a lot of fun. My hubby and I got a really nice photo from them too.

I would recommend this to any couple looking for a little romance on their trip to Hawaii.

In April, a jacket is essential due to the strong winds.

Great Cruise

This was our second time to Oahu and our second sunset cruise. The first time was with Navatek and that was a nice cruise but we felt that one was overcrowded (we upgraded our cruise on both trips). The cruise on the Star of Honolulu was much more expensive than our upgraded Navatek cruise so we were looking for a much improved experience.

The Star of Honolulu cruise was VERY personal as there were very few people who upgraded to the upper deck package. Matt and Captain Roy were extremely attentive and a pleasure to be around.

Unfortunately it was very overcast and the ocean choppy for our voyage but the dining experience was first class. The jazz show was phenomenal as well.

The coach ride felt like herding cattle, and at the price of our ticket I would expect a more personal form of transportation (I realize a personal car required an additional upgrade, but would have expected something more intimate than a full sized tour bus). There was little to no information given

This was a unique experience for me because I have never been on any sort of cruise ship before. Although the waves were a little choppy, overall I had a great time. The food is great (one star), service is good, and the atmosphere is satisfying. Just a little advice for all the couples out there who want a special "one-on-one" type of evening, spend the extra money to get a table for two. If not, you may end up sharing a table with another couple. I lucked out and the couple that was supposed to show, didn't. This is also a type of outing that is geared more towards tourists. So this may not be so entertaining for many of the locals. It also does get a little chilly, so bring some sort of jacket (for the men), or a jacket/shawl (for women). Overall, I enjoyed the quality and experience this activity had to offer. I would definitely do it again sometime.

The whole lobster was impressive! The flavor was delicious with a nice buttery taste, and I was satisfied. However, since I'm not used to eating such things, it was quite challenging to peel off the thick shell. I was looking forward to enjoying the sunset from the sea, but unfortunately, it was cloudy, so I couldn't see it. However, I was glad to participate because there were other enjoyable experiences, like the night view of Waikiki and hula dancing, aside from the sunset!

On the day I returned to Japan, I participated as a reward for completing the Honolulu Marathon! Unfortunately, it got cloudy in the evening, so I couldn't see the sunset, but the food was incredibly delicious, and it was great to see the show up close. Everyone in the audience danced together, creating an amazing sense of unity that was so much fun! When I heard the elusive theme song from the movie "Ghost" titled "Unchained Melody," I couldn't help but shed a few tears. Next time, I want to go with my boyfriend!

The dinner cruise started with a warm welcome in hula and a wonderful opening song. The food was delicious! After the meal, they performed several types of hula, which was very impressive! In the end, we all danced together, and I was truly satisfied. It was a cruise that was perfect for the last night of our honeymoon. I'm glad I participated.

However, I thought the large ship wouldn't sway much, but it rocked quite a bit while turning, and my husband ended up feeling unwell. I think it was probably due to travel fatigue. So, if you're someone who is a bit sensitive to motion or gets seasick, it might be best to avoid this...

On our last night in Hawaii, we participated in a dinner cruise. We booked the Star of Honolulu's three-star course through Celebration OP from Japan. As many have mentioned, if you book as a couple or for a celebration, you will have a window-side seat secured, so arriving early is not necessary. Since it includes transportation, if you wait at the pickup point on time, you will arrive at the Aloha Tower pier without any confusion. Near the boarding bridge, Polynesian dancers greet you with hula dancing. They create a lively atmosphere from the moment you arrive, and when you reach your reserved seats, welcome champagne is served immediately. The included service cocktail also comes in a non-alcoholic version that looks exactly the same, so those who don't drink can enjoy it too. By the way, my wife had the non-alcoholic cocktails, Chi Chi and Blue Hawaii, and they were delicious. The food is decent in both volume and taste, comparable to a restaurant on land. The large lobster and the small portion of tender filet steak were satisfying. More than the food, the band performance and dance entertainment were enjoyable and added to the show. Dancers perform in the aisles, and they dance vigorously right next to the tables, which is impressive. Waiters navigate around the dancers while serving food, and sometimes the waiters join in the dancing as well. The handsome staff and dancers are happy to take photos with you. In Japan, we would call this a banquet. It was truly fun. Once the ship reaches off Waikiki, it hardly moves. However, we were captivated by the sunset sinking into the Pacific Ocean. As the sun sets, the night view of Honolulu sparkles on the opposite side, creating a romantic backdrop. This view alone is worth it. The dinner cruise was 100% satisfying for our last night in Honolulu. The reason for the overall rating of four stars, however, is that the tables felt too cramped. The atmosphere felt a bit like a crowded cafeteria, which detracted from the experience. Perhaps the five-star dinner course would be different. Next time, I will try to book an upper-class option.

ハワイのラストナイトはディナークルーズに参加しました。スター・オブ・ホノルル号の三ツ星コースをセレブレーションOPで日本から予約。皆さんが書かれてますが、カップルやセレブレーションで予約すると、窓側の席が確保されますから、早めの到着は不要です。送迎つきなので、ピックアップ　ポイントで、定時に待っていれば、迷わずアロハタワー桟橋に到着です。ボーディング・ブリッジ付近では、ポリネシアン・ダンサー達がフラダンスで迎えてくれます。到着時から盛り上げてくれ、予約席に着いたときは、即座にウエルカムシャンパンが運ばれてきます。料金に含まれるサービス・カクテルは見た目が全く変わらないノンアルコールも用意されてますから、お酒が飲めない方も楽しめます。因みに、妻はノンアルコールカクテルのチチとブルーハワイを飲みました。美味しいです。料理はボリュームも味もマアマアです。地上のレストランと変わりません。大きなロブスターと、少量ですが柔らか肉のフィレステーキは満足です。そして、料理以上にバンド演奏やダンスなどのエンターテイメントがショーアップで楽しませてくれます。フロアーの通路でダンサーが踊ります。テーブルの傍で、腰を激しく振るポリネシアンダンスを踊るので、凄いです。そのダンサーを避けながらウエイター達が料理を運びます。時々ウエイターも踊ってます。イケメンのスタッフやダンサーは気軽に写真に混ざってくれます。日本では、これを宴会と言ってますね。本当に楽しいです。船はワイキキ沖に着くと殆んど移動しません。しかし、太平洋の彼方に沈む夕陽に感激し。日没になると反対側にホノルルの夜景がキラキラと、それはそれは、ロマンチックに夜景を飾ります。この景色だけでも価値ありです。ホノルルのラストナイトに相応しいディナークルーズで満足度100％ PLUSでした。なのに総合で4星の訳は、テーブルが詰めすぎって感じです。混雑する食堂的な雰囲気が減点ですね。多分、５スターディナーコースは違うでしょうけど。次回はアッパークラスを申し込んでみます。

I participated to commemorate the last night in Honolulu. Since it was a special occasion, I wore a Hawaiian dress and he wore an aloha shirt, which really lifted our spirits.

On the day, I expected strong winds and a rocky boat ride, but I felt completely comfortable without any seasickness. On the last day of our honeymoon, we wanted to do something a bit luxurious, so we booked a couple's dinner cruise.

Departing from the Aloha Center, I felt more motion on the boat than I expected, but looking at the scenery helped ease my mind. I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're feeling anxious.

As the cruise began, the appetizer service started right away (the appetizers are a buffet, so you help yourself), and the live performance kicked off, creating an exciting atmosphere. The performers spoke in English during the show, but they were so talented that we enjoyed it thoroughly. The meat dishes were delicious, and both my husband and I were thrilled to find a whole lobster included!

The dancers were absolutely amazing. We happened to be seated close to the dance area, which made it even more impressive. It was fun to see various dances, from Hawaiian hula to Tahitian dance. I was surprised when, at the very end, all the guests participated in a "YMCA" dance!

While sometimes overseas services can be a bit questionable, I felt that the local staff here were truly filled with hospitality.

I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling to Hawaii for a special occasion!

アロハセンターから出向し、思っていたより船に乗っていて揺れを感じましたが、景色を見たりしてたら気分がまぎれましたよ＾＾不安な方は酔い止めを飲んで行かれる事をお勧めします。

クルーズが開始され、早速前菜のサービス（前菜だけはビュッフェになっているので自分で取りにいきます）がはじまり、生演奏が始まって雰囲気が一気に盛り上がりました☆演奏される方は英語で途中途中トークされていたのですが、それでも演奏がとてもお上手だったので十分楽しめますよ。
お料理のお肉も美味しかったですし、何よりロブスターが丸々一匹付いてたのには私も主人も大喜びしました（笑）

何よりダンサーの方たちが素晴らしかったです。私たちはたまたま席の近くでダンスが見れたので余計に感動を覚えました。ハワイのフラからタヒチアンダンスまで色々なダンスが見れて楽しかったです。そして最後の最後にはお客さんも全員参加での「ＹＭＣＡ」だったのには驚きました（笑）

なかなか海外のサービスってたまに「？」な事がありますが、こちらの現地のスタッフの皆さんは本当にホスピタリティに満ちていたような気がします。

記念日でハワイに旅行される方には是非お勧めしたいと思います（＾＾）
