I participated in a cruise in September 2011.

The sunset was very beautiful and worth seeing.

The dance show after dinner was not great. If you want to see something proper, it's better to check out the dinner shows at the hotel.

As for the food, everything was delicious except for the main dishes of meat and fish. The meat tasted good, but it was too tough. The waiter was somewhat kind, but not very good.

I used the dinner sunset cruise again this year, just like last year. I guess the fact that I use it every year means it's enjoyable! Several decades ago, when I was on a tuna boat, I docked at this Aloha Tower and explored the area. Now it has become a market street, but back then, the entire market street was filled with warehouses and was quite empty. I remember the security wasn't very good either.

When boarding the cruise, they have a welcome dance at the pier, so I wish I could have taken a little more time to watch it. Of course, once on board, I enjoyed the food and the great performance. Foreigners are really good at having fun in places like this. I also took a cue from them and, even though I couldn't communicate, I cleared my mind and actively enjoyed dancing. The final YMCA was a lot of fun.

My initial impression of the sunset dinner cruise was that the food would be bad and it would just be a boring wait for the sunset, giving me the feeling that once was enough. However, since it was my wife and daughter's first time in Hawaii, I decided to book the Star of Honolulu, which I had never been on myself.

It wasn't a five-star experience, just a star course, but surprisingly the food was good, and the show featuring Hawaiian and hula dancing was authentic. My two-year-old daughter was captivated and even took a photo with one of the dancers.

We participated in the dancing until the end and truly had a wonderful time. Because of that, I only caught a glimpse of the sunset through the window. Still, it was so enjoyable that it more than made up for it.

Next time I visit Hawaii, I definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much to all the staff!

This was not my first cruise, so I honestly didn't find it particularly novel. However, the weather was great, all the staff were friendly, and the dancers were happy to take photos with us, making for a very enjoyable time!

Additionally, the passing staff offered advice on the timing of the sunset and photo opportunities, allowing us to capture beautiful sunset pictures.

I attended with a friend. There were indeed many couples, but groups can enjoy it as well. Dinner with a view of the Waikiki nightscape is fantastic. The space between the seats was a bit narrow and cramped, but the food was delicious. The sky turned a particularly beautiful pink from dusk until sunset, creating a magical atmosphere. 美味しい料理（大きなロブスターとステーキなど）と明るくショーで、楽しく過ごすことができました。まだ杖がないと歩行が不安な母でしたが、“今度来る時は、みんなと一緒に踊れるようにリハビリがんばる♪”と、元気になっていました。

Sunset Dinner Cruise, Cocktails, Dancing.. what a fun night! Let me tell you, seeing a sunset in Hawaii is wonderful but seeing it from the ocean, its like a paint brush painted the skies for the evening. Perfect for that special romantic moment with your loved one!

Unfortunately, I did not see the mystical green flash, but we did see several dolphins and the sunset over the water, magical!

Staff was very attentive and came by my dinner table through out the evening to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone on-board participated in the dancing. Thank you so much for a wonderful Sunset Dinner Cruise!

My husband and I participated for the first time. The waitress was very attentive and served us promptly. The food was plentiful to the point of being overwhelming! I booked a sunset cruise to celebrate our honeymoon.

The staff's response was wonderful, and the food, performance, and sunset were all amazing. I would love to participate again when I go back to Hawaii.

The only disappointing part was when I accidentally wandered onto the Five Star exclusive deck and was treated unpleasantly by the Five Star staff.

Other than that, it was truly fantastic!

I participated in this with a friend on our first trip to Hawaii. (Two couples) The surroundings were overwhelmingly filled with honeymooners and couples. It felt more like enjoying the atmosphere than just having dinner on the boat. However, if you want to enjoy an intimate atmosphere for just the two of you, I think it's better to add an extra option, as you will normally be seated at a large round table (for eight people?). At the neighboring table, there was a group of a honeymoon couple and older individuals, and the couple seemed overwhelmed with questions...

As for the boat's sway, you can definitely feel it. My friend is prone to motion sickness, but they said it was bearable. I think if you don't focus too much on the swaying and concentrate on looking far away, eating, or chatting, you'll be fine.

Regarding attire, there were Japanese parents who dressed up quite formally even for a three-star experience, but there were also people in shorts, T-shirts, and sandals... That sight was amusing. In my opinion, dressing up isn't necessary for a three-star experience. (Later on, we all danced together with music on the boat.) However, I did feel that wearing shorts, T-shirts, and sandals stood out a bit. I think a sense of dressing up similar to what you would wear for a date in Japan is necessary.

日本でデートで食事をしに行く格好、くらいの感覚は必要と思います。

Everyone was extremely helpful. My husband and I were directed to our table right away. When we decided to go up deck for the view we went back to our table and had our salads waiting for us. The lobster was delicious and they even helped crack it open. The entertainment was fun and engaging and when it came to disembark the ship, it was fast and painless...no line! My favorite part was the view of Honolulu and Waikiki at sunset.

A few days ago, I had an experience.

It was my first time on board, and it was more enjoyable than I expected. The food was delicious. The crab was so good that I ended up going for seconds, but I was so focused on eating that I almost missed the sunset.

The sunset from the ship was incredibly beautiful.

What surprised me the most was the final dance party. The servers took the lead in gathering everyone, and then we had a dance competition that lasted just under 30 minutes. Even though we were all strangers from different nationalities, we danced with smiles and sweat.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and I was extremely satisfied.

I chose the couple's course, which included photos to take home, and they turned out great, making for a lovely souvenir.

I was much more satisfied than I had anticipated, so I would like to visit again with my family and also recommend it to my friends.

予想していたものよりもとっても満足度が高かったのでまた家族などと訪れたいし、友達にも紹介したいと思いました。

Also, it can get a bit chilly on the boat at night, so a jacket is a must.

I participated on January 20th. I went by rental car without a shuttle, and the route was very simple. For those who can rent a car locally, not using the shuttle might be more cost-effective.

As for the cruise, the weather was great that day, and the sunset was beautiful. We were lucky to see whales, which was wonderful.

I also really enjoyed the show. It was great to dance with other tour participants and take commemorative photos with the dancers; the service was excellent.

This time, I signed up for the buffet, but I felt a bit disappointed with the food. The quality was lacking. Additionally, our group couldn't have dessert as there wasn't any left.

We had two children over three years old participating, and while adults received one complimentary drink (a Mai Tai alcoholic beverage), there was no drink service for the children. That would be charged separately.

If you want to have a proper meal, it might be better to sign up for the higher-tier course.

その分は有料となります。

しっかり食事をされたい方は、上のコースを申込した方が

When I was a teenager, my parents took me to Hawaii for the first time, and I boarded the Star of Honolulu. I remember feeling very joyful and luxurious. Now in my late twenties, I wanted my boyfriend to experience that feeling as well, so I took him on board as a Christmas present. To be honest, the food, service, and night view met my expectations, but I felt that the show content was somewhat nostalgic and outdated, just like it was back then. One disappointing thing was that the band members kept looking for Koreans in the audience, asking, "Korea? Korea?" (Why?) In the end, there were no Koreans at all, and 90% of the passengers were Japanese.
